Worst dress shopping experience ever! We took my niece shopping for a dress and received the worst service ever from most of the staff! There was one other group in the store when we got there. We were immediately directed to a size 11, even though we told the lady she wore a size 8/9. There are SO many dresses in the store you can’t even walk down the isles or look at the dresses on the racks. It’s extremely overwhelming! The lady continued to brag that they had over 5000 dresses in the store, and there was no where else before Indy to get a dress. Keep in mind she didn’t actually help us find anything and she sent us to the section on dresses in the wrong size! Then she went back to telling the other customer how pretty she was. When my niece started trying on dresses, that were obviously too big, we quickly started looking for the size that would fit her. While we are completely overwhelmed in the unorganized mess of dresses, I start hearing another lady, on the other side of the store, start “talking” extremely loud about there are signs posted that you aren’t to try on dresses for fun! The dresses don’t need the extra wear and tear. I look around to see who she’s talking to, (we are the only customers in the store at this time), and she is just standing on the other end of the store, steaming a dress, and running her mouth. Now keep in mind, she didn’t bother to stop what she was doing to come help us, she just continued to run her mouth, talking about their posted policy! Suddenly the first woman we saw shows back up and starts taking every dress we looked at away and then she disappeared again! After about 45 minutes of this a third woman shows up. Unfortunately by this time we were absolutely not buying anything from a store! The third lady was actually helpful and started pulling dresses for us. Too bad it took them over 45 minutes to actually help us! By the way, I finally found their “posted policy” on a sheet of paper taped to a wall. We ended up going to Indy and found a brand new dress, that was much nicer than anything we looked at there! The dress we bought is a size 7 that cost $60. So glad we didn’t settle for a dress that we could RENT from them for $50! Horrible service, over priced dresses, and extremely unorganized!

Walking in the workers were very kind and helped me find the area I was looking for. My only problem is that because there were so many dresses I couldn’t even get in the isle to look for dresses and when I would try to go through racks I could barely move dresses to look and had a hard time getting any out. I think the store would be a lot easier to go through if it had some more space. Overall there are a lot of great dresses, I just don’t recommend going to this shop if you get claustrophobic easily

My mother and I arrived at Ready 2 Wear one hour before closing. Beth stayed well after closing to discuss options with me. She was extremely helpful! I havent found my dream dress yet, but I will be returning to Ready 2 Wear when I am ready to buy. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking to purchase formal wear. Thanks, Beth!

Beth and Molly are wonderful ladies, and are always very busy helping ladies get just what they are looking for. They have a wide selection of bridal, prom, and bridesmaids dresses, as well as others such as mother of the bride dresses and so on. However, if they are busy and you want something in particular, make sure to emphasize it. I had ask for an alteration on one of my bridesmaids dresses and though she seemed hesitant at first, Beth said she thought she could make it happen. On a follow up visit, she had no recollection of our discussing the alteration. Then, when I said I would be coming back for the dresses on another day, none of them were ready when I arrived. If you catch them during prom/wedding season, make sure they have down exactly what you want.

They were very helpful, and had an amazing selection of alllll kids of dresses. I bought my dress from there, got fitted, had my dress hemmed up, alterations done perfect to where that dress molded the shape of my body. Even got some stuff for my little girl Arabella for her fower girl dress. If I could rate then 10 stars I would!! Very professional and an all around amazing shop!

Ready to Wear is our go to for excellent alterations and at a very reasonable price! Beth has altered multiple Horsemanship Show Shirts for my daughters. Some are extremely ornate with crystals and sequins. She does a perfect job, every time!

The ladies where so helpful and kind. They know the business. They were ready to help us. Love the place. Was amazing to find the prom dress, shoes and jewelry for my daughter at one place for a good cost.

If I could give no stars, I would! 1.The owner of this store is the rudest woman I have ever met. 2. This place is filthy. 3. There is no sense of organization in there. 4. Most of the dresses are out of season, over priced, and tore up. 5. The owner is notorious for fat shaming people and falsely sizing people. 6. You cant even look at half of the dresses because the racks are too full.I am looking for a last minute bridesmaids dress for my best friends wedding. I went into Ready to Wear(they are not) and I was shocked. They have a huge selection of thousands of dresses, but the racks are so over stocked that you cant even walk down the aisles or even pull them apart to see them. Because the dresses are so close together, many of them are torn up. The beading is falling off and the stitching is frayed and coming apart. None of the dresses that were falling apart were marked down on price and almost all of the dresses were priced as they would be at a dress store brand new. I was in the store for 15 minutes before being greeted coldly. When the first woman asked if I could use any help looking for anything, she didnt even wait for a response. I then found a dress that was perfect for what I need and it was in my size(8-12). I had already held the waistline over my waist to double check it before deciding to try it on. The owner approached me and in a very rude tone asked me what I was looking for. I explained to her what I needed and told her I wanted to try on that dress. She immediately blurted out, You dont only have to worry about what it looks like, but you need to look for the right size and I can tell by looking at you that you need a size 14 or 16. I told her that I usually wear a size 8-12. She snickered and stepped towards me abruptly kicking me in my sprained foot that I have a boot on and without apologizing, she pulled the dress down and out of my hands and said rudely, You cannot wear this dress it will not fit you. She held the WAIST of the dress up to the middle of my BUST and stated, This is the waist of the dress and if I hold it up to your waist and pull it across it will not go around you. I tried to explain to her that I have a 49 bust, but I have fit in to smaller sizes in the past. She smuggly said, You need a size 16 or 18. I tried to explain to her that I tried on both of those sizes recently and they were way too big for me. I told her I do not have time for an alteration. In a tone she said, You can get a bigger dress and take it in, but you cant wear a size 12. I kept trying to explain to her that I didnt have time for that. She would just talk over me. I felt like I was being shamed for my size. I went to Macys and I found a dress for a third of the price and it is much more beautiful. Its a size 9 and it fits me like it was made for me.Long story short, I would not recommend this place to anyone! Please check other places first and avoid being treated like garbage.

My mother and I tried shopping there twice, yesterday and today for her wedding dress, and I will just say the experience was all around bad. The customer service was incredibly awful, we had no help up until we were about to leave, and they dont disclose important things such as why they wont rent a certain dress to you until after you find exactly what you want. I would never go back.

It needs to be in a bigger store. Too many dresses in such a small place Im not a thrifter so I was overwhelmed. The lady there was really nice and helpful though.

Very rude staff. Was trying on dresses and kept getting told about how big I was and how I am to big for the dresses. Never got to pick out what I liked and my dressing room door was wide open and undressed me.

This place was absolutely amazing! I went in 2 weeks before my wedding and found my dream dress! There are so many dresses to choose from but the ladies asked me what I was looking for and found exactly what I wanted. They also found the perfect dresses for my daughter, step daughter and my mother! They were able to make a few alterations to my daughters dress to make sure it was perfect. I couldnt be happier with my experience here.

Love this place!! Largest inventory in Indiana and she does in house alterations! So many options and everyone is so friendly and helpful. I also loved that they carried so many sizes!!

They did a great job altering my dress. I ended up buying online and they did the alteration and pressing for me and it was perfect. Also had a lot of nice dresses inside but I just happened to find the perfect one for me online. I know others have had great success buying their dresses here though. Beth and Molly are super friendly and knowledgeble.

Wedding dress shopping (or any dress shopping for that matter) is supposed to be a fun-filled day full of smiles and trying on dresses and feeling beautiful. I did not have this experience here. I could get over the massive amount of dresses with little or no room to look or move. They have a great selection. I could not, however, get past the absolute audacity of the store owner. While trying on dresses with my mother and daughter, she almost demanded me to step out of the dressing room, proceeded to reach around and grab my front side while adjusting my dress, telling me how she has been doing this for years and that the dresses I picked out wouldnt look good on me. She made me so uncomfortable that I didnt even finish trying on dresses. She literally made my experience horrible. I left the store in tears and will never go back. (The other lady was nice and helpful).

Their signage is small and a little hard to find, but it is directly across from pizza king. They have hundreds of BEAUTIFUL dresses in all sizes, styles, and colors. Long, short, in between! You can rent, buy, consign! Look here first! You wont need to shop anywhere else for the entire wedding party. People are very friendly and helpful. Love this place!!!!!!

Owner is arrogant and rude. Made my wife feel very uncomfortable and spoke as if she was yelling at her. That store is also filthy!

If I could give no stars I would. The owner was beyond rude. Told my daughter she was trying dresses on that didnt go with her body type. And that she was lying about her dress size. I will NOT do business here EVER! No one should ever be shamed for their size!

This place has huge selection on wedding dresses, but overly crowded plus was told new dresses were mixed with used one thats a bad plan .The lady was very pleasant, and knowledgeable.

We came in looking for an emergency bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding. We received amazing service and the lady went above and beyond to try to help find something that would work. Although we did not find a dress there (looking for a very specific color), the service was so amazing we would certainly return. Thank you again!!

Amazing store. We called on a Saturday and store was closed but owner told us to come on in anyway. We were just looking for a veil, she had an amazing selection- even makes many of them herself. She helped us until we found the right one. She was super friendly, extremely helpful and has everything!

This place is a mess. There was a huge dog laying in the lobby. The girl that helped us was 13 and barefoot. There are so many dresses that you have to plow through them to get anywhere. Would not recommended.

The Ladies were Friendly and So Helpful! They do need a bigger, building and do know that too. I Am praying that as though they will find one! So many Pretty things too! Oh and I said yes to the Dress!

I took a bridesmaids dress in to get shortened and to get the dress taken out because I ordered it too small. The owner of the store made me feel bad by saying “honey, I saw when you walked in you are NOT a size 6.” Then she continued to take my measurements on top of a plush robe, saying my bust was 40” and my waist was 33”, making me a size 16. I took my OWN measurements at my friends grandma’s house and my bust was 35” and my waist was 29”, so I ordered the dress in a size 10 and it was a perfect fit. If I would have listened to the owner of this store, I would’ve ordered the dress in a 16, 3 sizes too big. She also got wing sauce on my bridesmaids dress because she didn’t wash her hands after she ate food before she touched my dress. Poor customer service, made me feel ashamed, and gave me wrong measurements. I do not recommend this store, I wish I could since they are local, but I did not like my experience AT ALL. I ended up getting my dress altered by my friends grandma just so I didn’t have to return to this store.

This shop is a fire department nightmare dresses so packed in its difficult to walk between the racks. Paid for my daughters prom dress and it took over a month to get the dress completed. Then upon picking the dress up it was like we as customers were an inconvenience for them to verify that there were no unexpected issues with the dress. Payment was made and cleared our bank and measurements taken a month prior to them even starting on the alterations. Then was told it only took them one day to do the alterations. Shop is very unorganized and slow to complete the work paid for. If you have any other place to get a dress and have it altered, I would highly recommend you do so.

Great store! She has a very large selection. Some dresses she even rents, has jewelry that can be rented as well (added bonus!) Alterations. She knows what looks good on every body type. I hate shopping and I had fun! Cant say enough thanks!

When I first walked in with my daughter I was a bit overwhelmed. This place is FULL of dresses! Immediately we were approached by a very nice woman, who asked my daughter her size and style she was looking for. She helped her find a handful of dresses and showed her to the dressing rooms. My daughter found a dress on the 1st round, but Im sure Mrs. Would have continued the search until she had. They have shoes here and alteration services. You can order a brand new dress or you can choose to buy one from consignment.

I had an amazing experience the lady knew exactly my dress size just by looking at me how wonderful is that I found a beautiful ballgown for my event and she was very helpful in explaining everything I needed to know since this is the first time I’ve ever worn anything remotely close to this I will definitely come back and refer everyone I know great job ladies very happy !!! I never expected to see so many gallons and all of the bells and whistle‘s that go with it truly a gem

Very overwhelming! Plenty of dresses, but most seemed a little outdated. Also, the store is so small you can barley walk around. Prices are upward of 200 dollars to purchase a used dress. Friendly staff, but not impressed by the store itself.
