The side bolster on the driver’s seat of my 5 year old Subaru developed a wear crack. Albo rebuilt the bolster with new material and foam so well that it’s absolutely indistinguishable from the original. The new foam makes the seat a little more comfortable which is a nice, unexpected plus. Excellent work at a fair price. I wouldn’t hesitate a moment to use them again or recommend them to my best friend.

I am restoring a 56 Buick and needed some trim remade. I brought in the old pieces and 2 weeks later, I had perfect new parts. The work they preformed is excellent. I will be bringing more interior parts to be repaired.

Had the front seat of the BMW convertible reupholstered with leather. Each of the arm rests also received new leather - the doors and the middle. The work is exceptional!!! If you care about quality, then you don’t have to go much further. This place does a phenomenal job at no compare. Irene is willing to work with you until you are satisfied and that really seems to be their main priority. I am beyond happy with my seats. The design and colors were customized for me, and I have to tell you; the compliments don’t stop from each person that sits in my car!

Just had a 1956 International bench seat recovered by Albo and WOW! It was in rough shape when I brought it in. Irene had an eye on what colors and textures to make it look better than original. Price was reasonable for the quality of work done. Everyone loves it.

Took some seats from my 2004 Formula 27PC in to be recovered as the vinyl had dried out and had split seams. 2 weeks later they were all done and look great, just as good, if not better than factory. Good pricing too as their labor and materials (new vinyl and foam) were about the same cost as replacement vinyl skins from Formula. (Replacement skins you have to install yourself and youre still stuck with old worn out foam) If you need work done with your upholstery this is the place to go!

We had a large tear on the drivers seat section in our truck that needed to be repaired, as well as replacing the padding for the seat too. Albo Restoration Services was able to match the fabric in our truck so closely that you cant even tell its been repaired. I had my boat seats reupholstered with a challenging repair of the double-wide captains chair that had much hardware involved. The vinyl colors, cushions and stitching are beautiful and while I thought the cost was a bit pricey, the quality of the finished product is excellent. The seats reinstalled perfectly and I would recommend Albo to anyone; Ill be returning for more work in the future.

I am building an experimental airplane that I hope will win a gold metal at Oshkosh in a year or so. The upholstery is the only part of the entire plane that I chose to seek some commercial assistance. Irene has been great to work with. The interior components are all custom made and require great attention to detail, as the competition at Oshkosh is very strong. Irene and I are still working together on some finishing touches, and I cant wait to get the plane completed and on the showplane line at Oshkosh.

Albo installed a seat heater for my wifes Honda Insite. The dealer only sells seat heaters with leather upholstery and this car has cloth seats. Albo did a wonderful job of installing the heater element, running the wiring and locating the controls. They completed the job as promised and my wife could not be more pleased as this was a birthday gift!

I brought my Grand Cherokee Summit to Albo after Napleton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram replaced the leather seat cover back and foam, doing an absolutely horrendous job with the install. My seat looked terrible! I absolutely hated to even look my car. I brought it to Albo and they got it in next business day, and installed the seat cover properly. It looks and feels like it should again! I am thoroughly pleased with the results. They were fast, reasonably priced, and did a great job. What more can you ask for?

WOW !! Brought in my cloth covered captains chairs from my RV. The seats were in bad shape due to age and some 60,000 miles of use. They did a great job replacing the foam and adjusting the springs.When I brought in the seats they gave me a reasonable price and said they would be done in a week! (Other shops had said well, maybe we can, maybe we cant OR we dont know when we can get to it)When I came to pick up the seats, I almost did not recognize them! The Captain Chairs were in ship shape and looked perfect PLUS they are WAY more comfortable! I cant tell you how happy I am with their work and that the process was so easy. The only down side is now I dont need to buy that new RV!!If you are looking for a little something called SERVICE this is the place!

What a great business for getting furniture reupholstered!I brought in a high wing backed chair that belonged to my wife’s father. It was “his” chair all through the 1960’s and 70’s. It needed a lot of work from many moves and our cats and I waited quite a while to find the right time and place to get it restored as a surprise for my wife’s 50th birthday. After talking to Irene and seeing examples of other work, I knew I was in the right place. We went over options and talked fabric colors, texture, and type. To save me money Irene pointed me in the direction of Loomcraft for the fabric and the many styles and prices they have to offer. To make a long story short, the quality of service and craftsmanship at Albo was first rate all the way! There were a few other options in Mundelein that I could have gone with (one was a little cheaper) but I knew that Irene was going to take care of this precious part of my wife’s family and get it done right. The final outcome even outdid what my expectations were. What a beautiful piece of work. I made the right choice….so should you.

I instead compensate in this aspect by complimenting the person doing the job by finding positive details about the work itself and resolving any problems right awayFor many like me Ill give the option to cut this story short, but by all means... if you want more insight into why, I am taking some sacrifices to write this out so please be my guest. What I saw today was a group of people prioritizing the bottom-line over running an honest business. meaning they care more about your money more than your satisfaction. If your reading this at a late enough day, try clicking on my username to see my only other review as this will be the shop that worked for me as I still need work to be completed on my interior. Im doing this because as much as I hate writing bad reviews I feel the moral obligation to maybe to help out another good person by suggesting whatever the better alternative may be.So I recently a bought used car and was looking to find a place for it to reupholstered and I came across Albo restoration in a google search. As I was going inspecting my vehicle upon completion I noticed that they failed to replace some old leather. In broken English they reply with something along the gist of because it wasnt torn, it was not replaced. Even though I had the invoice in my hand stating the entire seat cushion was to be replaced she continues to argue that it meant other things. This last lady argues bank by now raising her voice at me. Persistent I still try to work this out with calmness and clarity. So as any profession business owner would she now dares to tear up the invoice and proceeding with the yelling. I At this point I try to reason with the calmer partner, at which point he trys to sell me on paying me more money for the same work that the invoice stated would be done. Something was off as one the partners states me this repair would be another $50, and the other tells $160 at separate times during the same conversation. Hope this helps in some wa

The seats were in terrible condition with metal sticking out of my drivers side. since I bought my truck I hated the seats, they would stain so easy and having horses and dogs and 8 grandchildrenI couldnt seem to keep up.
