Great craft store!!! Great products at great prices. Staff were very helpful.

Ive been here twice in the last week. They have a good selection of craft materials, though Im disappointed that they dont carry an insert your photo key chain. However, they have a decent variety of sea shells, which was exactly what we needed for a Hawaiin appreciation day in a kindergarten classroom. Fairly friendly staff, though every time I asked for directions I ended up a little lost. Could be user error, I was not familiar with the craft items they listed as landmarks in their instructions. Still, easier to navigate than Hobby Lobby. This will definitely be my first stop for craft supplies in the future.

The scrapbook section continues to dwindle. If they would get inmore unique stickers and embellishments, they would get more business from scrapbookers. As it is, they dont have anything different than other craft stores.

Found everything we went there for. Also added to my scrapbooking stash with new items and sale items. Picked up drawing pencils and plastic containers for sorting photos. Always friendly, helpful clerks.

They helped me restore a stitchery that I did in my teens. Now it should be good for a long time!

Always cringe when the wide wants to go to the craft store because she is going to spend $$. This visit they had lots of Clearance items so the damage wasnt too bad. Always a good selection and the staff is very friendly.

Although I was disappointed in some of the selection available at this store (Im sure due to covid-related shipping issues), I have to give Michaels in Murfreesboro 5 stars. They are some of the friendliest workers who are willing to help you with anything that you need. Each time I have visited this location, workers have a smile on their face and look happy to be there and to help you in any way that they can.

Very little selection of paints for models that are not Testors. But thats just me.

Clean and friendly. They seem under staffed, but dont mind helping when you find someone.

I really like Michaels. Most of all their framing department. I paint watercolors and if they arent framed with acid free paper, etc. They will deteriorate in time. Hobby Lobby is a good store but they didnt educate me on acid free framing and when I asked about it they said acid free paper is extra.With coupons and sales I can get really nice basic mats and frames cheaply.The staff is helpful and they have free and pay for classes.Sometimes checkout is a tad slow but usually they open up a new register. Ask for a 40% discount on your highest item and youll get it. Not hassle like JoAnns and Hobby Lobby.

Shelves were almost empty of Halloween decorations. Store very small.

The layout of the store was very intuitive with me - a Michaels novice - being able to go almost immediately to the items I needed for one of my kids school project. The store had at least a couple of options for each of the items on my list. Checkout was fast.The prices for my 3 items purchased was slightly higher than I expected.

They had a nice selection of regular Lego sets but also some items that are more uncommon

I prefer Michaels craft store over a terrible company like Hobby Lobby, but they never seem to have anything in stock that Im looking for. Id rather Michaels have my business but I always end up empty handed and having to look elsewhere.

All you diyers ! Theyve got the best selection of products . Almost anything you would need is here . They can be slightly pricier than other stores though .

I went in looking for Halloween sale items that I saw online that were in stock, only to find there was nothing in stock as the website showed. There was hardly anything Halloween related in the store. Its the middle of October! Everywhere you look, its all Christmas. Dont get me wrong, I like Christmas too, but come on, its the middle of October!! And the last time I was in the store in September, they had Christmas stuff out then too. There were also other items I was looking for that the website said was in stock, yet when I looked in the store there was nothing. Asked an employee, and they told me someone else had been in earlier looking for one of the same things and couldnt find it either. I expect a company as large as Michaels is to have accurate inventory, and some sort of inventory control! Obviously they do not have either. Very disappointed! I used to really like Michaels. I could always find what I was looking for in the past, but it seems they have gone way downhill recently. Its a shame really....

Leaving a 2nd star due to 2nd experience I had. The first one, I purchased 2 large glass picture frames and the cashier at the front was not very pleasant at all... I got there and she did not greet me or ask me to put my items down. She stared at me hold 2 big frames by myself. Then, I finally asked should I put down so she can scan for price and she said yes.The main thing that makes me upset is I asked for cardboard or wrapping paper so the glass frames do not rub together and she literally said, we do not have that here. An arts & Craft store that carries glass and heavy items does not carry any wrapping paper??? Ok... and to top it off, I had to bag my heavy items by MYSELF. What good is the cashier if you will not assist someone who is trying to pay at the same time?The next day, I brought back the frame to exchange for a new one as it was stained and a younger lady helped me and exchanged no problem. So I asked her, do you have wrapping paper and she said yes, and got me some AND bagged my items... This is my first review and first time at a Michaels, and I do not know how I feel about this location anymore.

Terrible experience tonight. An item as simple as colored pencils requires a card to be taken to the cashier. One cant inspect the product that way.

I ordered a 10 drawer rolling cart for same day delivery for a 10 dollar fee. I did not receive my order but did get a bunch of items from someone else’s order. No help from Michaels to resolve my issue. At least with Amazon you actually get your order. This was the Murfreesboro TN store.

Brenda helped me get my poster that was in pieces just the way that I wanted. She has helped me in many ways in one. She was kind to call me to tell me exactly when my poster was completely and told me she had some issues with it darking it a bit but it wasnt bad at all and it still looks fresh to me. It was the first time me coming for service there and Ill definitely be back if I get treated kindly like that. The only disadvantage was I wish to drypost my poster costed a little less than what I paid.

Love this Michaels! I craft store often, and this Michaels is one of my favorite places to shop because of the super friendly staff. Yarn selection does not disappoint.

Love this place, always had my painting supplies in stock! We picked up canvas, easels and brushes. Plus my husband picked up a nice large frame for some fan art hes had for a while.

I only give 4 stars because its kinda of a small Micheals and they dont have As much a selection as other ones but ultimately had what I was looking for..

Went to see their frames on this trip. We also get beads for jewelry, candle making supplies, Christmas gifts and other items. Great store.

Doesnt always have what I need plus letting people in without mask and not regulating what people are doing inside. Makes me not want to come to Michael anymore. They need to have someone to tell people if youre not wearing a mask you cannot come in. But Michael spray if theyre not going to make the extra dollar. Being safe should be the first concern.I will be doing online shopping.

The atmosphere is quaint and business brisk because the food is great. They serve great pizza but the lasagna that I had was simply amazing.

Genuinely the worst customer experience ever. The staff is not interested in answering questions or helping at all. I need supplies for my school since I have art classes and they wont help me find what I need. Since I cant go inside anymore, Ive been trying to figure out how to do curbside pickup but it seems for the ONE ITEM I need, I cant get it through curbside even though I know they have it in stock. I called to see if I could order over the phone, I have all the info and the item number in front of me, and I was very calm and kind to the associate- she answered the phone and I immediately knew I had ruined her day by calling at all. I needed one item and she snapped that she couldnt take an order over the phone. She didnt even let me explain my situation. Okay, lady. Sorry your day is so stressful. Its not my fault. Now I have to pay $7 extra to ship a $4 item to my house, and Ill probably get it in three weeks when this class is over. This location has always been the WORST for customer service. Ive never had a good experience here.

Since Hobby lobby is horrible (look it up), I went to micheals. It is a great store with all the art supplies and craft supplies I need without (mostly) the cheap Chinese made home decor. I will definitely use this store more. It is in a heavy shopping area. So i avoid it in the holidays, but other then that, it is great for supplies.

Surprised how low stocked and the mess it was trying to navigate throughout the store to find what i was needing. So much easier to order online these days.

Picked up a few things for leather working and woodworking. I guess supplies are scarce do to the Sinovirus.

Can always get what I need and then some. Friendly, helpful employees.

Store is cramp, hard to find what I need, never any employees around to help, and often cannot find what I went there for. The crafts they focus on show a heavy gender bias and the store could use a redesign to better focus on their male hobby enthusiast.

Certain ribbons were clearance priced in the aisle. At the register, they rang up full price.

Store was very organized and maintained, did not have to search for assistance. I was reassured if I needed something or have questions they will be just around the corner. (Surprisingly this was on a busy day)I orginally ordered online to pick up, but was able to find more great items on sale.

Clean, well stocked, well lit isles. We came for oil painting supplies, though a little disappointed they dont carry Bob Ross with his current resurgence of popularity. Still a great place to shop.

This Michaels is quite large and has everything I needed for my project. Great value, they accept competitors coupons in fact. The young lady at the checkout was very helpful, polite and cheerful. Keep up the good work!

I am not a crafter but I went in for a specific need. The wonderful woman who greeted me was very warm and sincere, I only wish I had gotten her name. I told her what I was looking for and painted the picture as best I could. She pointed me to several aisles and when I did not find what would work for me she came to me and assisted further. In the end, I found everything I needed to complete what I wanted to do. Great customer service from an unknown blessed soul.

Great deals. If you have a hobby, forget hobby lobby! I was recently shopping for semi precious stones for some jewelry I was making. I was suprised to see the beads 70% off, which made them about $1.60 for a strand. Ive never found them cheaper than that anywhere else.
