Yesterday was my first visit to Old Time Pottery in several months. I was surprised, yet pleased to see the transformation that’s happening in the store. They’re updating the looks and it seems to me the merchandise, as well. My only “ugh” moment was at check-out. There were several people in line, with only one checker. Then a customer had a return, so the rest of us waited even longer. That experience could’ve been easily fixed by management.

It’s a Labor Day weekend ritual to get fall and Halloween stuff before people buy it all. But, they have all sorts of things so you can get seasonal stuff, lamps, furniture, pots and pans all in one stop. And and and. I didn’t take many pictures in the store, but it’s not as fancy as some of the pictures indicate. Instead I put a picture of my haul.

Havent been their in a while and it was a big disappointment. Things were rearranged and somewhat confusing. An employee acted like we were bothering him when we asked about the 75% off sale. The young ladies at the register were very nice and helpful. Not sure if I want to go back to one of my favorite places 🤔 😕

They have big variety of items. I usually go there for inexpensive decor items. Their selection has lessened over the last few years but its still a good place to find some decor items at reasonably priced. They have some great items and some cheap stuff. But if you look you might find a good deal. I was able to find Anchor Hocking canning jars in stock during a canning jar shortage. So a win there!

Had great harvest decorations. Can tell they will for Christmas 🎄too. Organized and very clean. Pleasant crew at registers.

Its a nice store. Has not been well stocked in a very long time. If you ask questions they have no answers for you. When I wanted my larger items bagged, they directed me to purchase their reusable bags. That is not what I wanted and I did not appreciate that at all. My items were actually not bagged by the associate. If this is going to be the attitude they will lose my business.

This store has so much & they were stocking shelves while I was browsing need to go back to see what else they have to offer on their Christmas decor.

Young kid with braces was rude. He did not want to return the stuff my wife bought {with the receipt} that we didnt need. In the end he returned the stuff but did not ring up all that I brought. Im pretty sure he did that out of spite because hes a spoiled brat that likes to hurt people when he dosent get his way. Needless to say I wont be going back to that store.

I was dragged her by my wife. I was angry walking into the store, but I found stuff that I was interested in. This place is huge. I did get my exercise while here. lol. The store was clean. Employees were very helpful and nice. It turned out to be not that bad.

May be downsizing but still a great place to shop. They were unwrapping decorative pumpkins on July 3 .. geeze! Get them while you can.

Not much here yet. Covid mustve hit them hard. Whats left of the summer stuff was from last summer. Fully stocked for Halloween, though!

Its kind of dirty but I guess thats a pottery store for you. They have LOTS of flower pots which is what I was looking for. Their assortment is just all different things. I hadnt been in years but Im happy we went! The employees were very nice.

They put forth little effort to clean their floors. My boots looked like I had been hiking, when I left their store. Even their pictures are dusty and dirty. The shelves, with the overpriced, low quality furniture, is dirty as well. They have definitely declined in quality. They are nothing like they used to be. Ironically, the staff is friendlier. Still, I wont be going back. Very disappointing.

We live about an hour away from OTP so when we go we expect to get what we need. Over the last year and a half every time we go they are out of what we need.They are known for the floral supplies ie: cones, vases, leather leaf and all the other items you need to.make a floral arrangement.You can never find anyone to ask and when you say something to a cashier they just state oh we have had a lot of that coming through.That is no excuse, you.order to prepare for holidays, certain times that the demand is high. To say it clearly you prepare for those things.I like OTP because they have things I cant get at home but I waste my time going and not being able to get what I needed. Also, I t seems the company doesnt care. I live to far away to go every day to see if they have gotten it in. The cashier says do you have the text message thing. That is a joke, it tells you what is new but not what you were needing and the website doesnt even show the floral supplies.The store used to be great but now they have went down the.path of Kmart, Target, Walmart and the rest.VERY disappointed.

Tons of stuff and nice employees.

Store was very sparsely stocked...unless you need patio furniture cushions. They had EIGHT ROWS of those.

Dirty and the music was so loud, it ruined your shopping experience. The items in the store were dirty and the floors were so dusty and dirty, you have to clean your shoes off before you go in your car and house. Sorry.

I stopped in on 11/1 to purchase a Christmas tree. I saw one on display i wanted but could not find it over where the trees were. So I asked one of the employees(who was very nice) if he had any more in the back. He went back and checked but did not have any in stock, so he asked if I wanted the display model, and I say yes, that would be fine. I waited in line for 25 minutes, and when I got up to the counter, a tall blonde female cashier, very rudely said you cant unplug the display and bring it up here to buy, you need to put it back.I explained to her that her employee gave me the display to buy, I did not just unplug it and bring it up here. She then called the employee who gave the tree to me and was rude to him as well, then told me to come back next week. I explained to her I was only in town this weekend and I live 5 hours away, and would not be able to come back. all she said was well sorry, but we cant sell you this. I also had $200 worth of additional items I was purchasing so I just told her to put it all back. The issue wasnt the tree, it was how their employee handled the situation. My family lives in the area and will not shop there again.

I love Old Time Pottery! Shocked, when I had a shopping cart full of stuff. They had no bags but they would let us have the Halloween bags .. for $0.50 so I had to pay for all my stuff, then I had to buy the bag to put it in. Its really sort of funny though ! I just give them their 5 back

Good good good place to shop decorations items

This place used to be amazing. Great prices and wonderful fall decor. Namely, there were lost of table centerpieces which were a lot like the ones youd see at Kirklands or one of the other expensive stores but at half the price or less. I visited yesterday to find aisle upon aisle of empty shelves and none of the great crystal decor that I had seen last year. Additionally it appears there have been price increases throughout the store. Maybe COVID hit the store hard but it definitely didnt feel like the old time pottery I am used to.

Found a military soldier statue Ive been looking for and the price was reasonable. Although the statue had a small chip in it, I understand they cant catch every issue. I love this store! Service is always good, selection is varied and prices are right.

Prices seemed a little high to me, but its been a long time since I shopped at Old Time Pottery. Store was well stocked, well organized and clean though and selection was awesome.

Wonderful place to go if you need to get out of the house. A varied supply of decorating ideas at prices that will please you. Great place to brouze.

I normally love going here, lots of great finds an unbeatable prices. I must have come at a bad time because there were lots of bare shelves. When fully stocked, its a great place to purchase home decor and a huge selection of artificial florals. Dont forget your mask as they are required.

I love the store, but not the prices. They have a great supply of wreath making items. Well more than I’m used to finding anyway. I just wish their prices were more reasonable. One star off for cost.

Very disappointing 😕. I havent been there in a while due to Covid, but it used to be a fun place to spend three hours. Their prices have jumped a lot and they have taken away so many things they used to have in there. I will no longer shop there, Hobby Lobby will be my new go to store

Their stock is very limited and they had one check out station open. There were 6 to 7 people in line to check out.

I found beautiful things, its a lot less than normally used to be, half of the store is empty now but I found really nice things for this fall

I love the store and I was less than impressed with checkout. I purchased a glass bread pan marked 6.00. I was asked by a male employee if I changed the price because they were normally 7 and some change. I said I saw it for 6 and that was why I purchased it. I was not happy but I let it go.

I work in the warehouse behind the store and Im going to find another job. This one pays $11 an hour, but the Supervisor Paul is not a good supervisor. He lies. Some of the other employees are mean.

We used to drive down from Nashville. They completely changed. We were very disappointed. Not much there that I couldnt get from another place for less. When I asked about If they going to do Christmas tree this year. She said that they got rid of all live plants. They reduce the staff and cash registers. Not what they use to be. What a shame.

Oh, I’d love to have enough money to go Into Old Time Pottery and really shop. There is so much to see and purchase. I love this store.

I have always preferred stores that stress affordable prices for good merchandise over fancy showrooms and glitz. Thank you Old Time Pottery for staying real for the common man.

I love the deals I find here! I got the Jack inflatable here, and the mailbox cover too, and some other things. You can find just about anything you are looking for, inside the house and outdoors.

Cleaner than it used to be, but no discounts available so far too expensive for my taste now. Wont be back.

No good today.. We just went to lunch at the cafe.. Didnt realize Kathy was off. Had family in from Oklahoma. The girl Montana is totally clueless. Mixing up our order with other orders and giving parts of our food to other people. Im sure she is good in other areas but this is not where she needs to be. We werent the only ones having the same problem. The older lady Sharon? She couldnt keep up with making food. Ran out of chili earlier but stated I have more I guess I should have warm more up. She attempted to . Chili still cold and then the bowls were half full. The shining star here was a girl named Jennifer trying to get these girls on track and to keep things moving. We eat here several times a week. Big disappointment. Never again on Wednesday..

Loved the store. Cashier was quick and very pleasant. They gave us a military discount which we appreciate. Store was clean and well stocked. Need to clear The store of Christmas. Fill empty shelves. Those are lost sales. GREAT Store. It was a pleasure to shop here. We will come back.

No more old Time pottery for this family loved shopping here would go out of our way to come here. Went today and was informed they discontinued the military discount.

I am here now looking at DOZENS of flower pots ON THE FLOOR for sale with a 50% off red sticker on them. Although When you get to the resister they sadly explain the sale doesnt Begin until the 18th of January. What!?!? There are No Signs EXCEPT for the 50% off stickers. No thank you, false advertising to Not even honor the price that is on the floor for sale Today on January 15th, 2020. Poor Service! False Advertising! Do Not put something on the floor at 50% off with NO signs of Dates n then NOT honor the price I only wish it would let me post this pic of the Dozens of Red 50% off stickers.

Well... where to start... the Murfreesboro Old Time Pottery has gone down hill fast.... for one thing one line for checkout is not good... during your busy time you will have more people in line then shopping... to stop accepting checks not every one carrys a lot of cash or credit cards.... the thing that really tops it off not honoring our veterans!! This will be the very last time I ever shop in your store again

Went in to purchase a rug. Found the perfect one but it was damaged. The lady running the front registers was so much help and even discounted our rug. She was friendly and we could tell she had been working alot of hours. I wish more places had employees like her.

I have been to this store 2 times in the last six months. The first time, an employee started talking politics and religion to me unsolicited. I reported it to the manager as something she might not need to do. He said hed take care of it. Today, this same employee called me rude because I parked my car next to hers while she was getting in. Mind you, there was 36 inches of space between us! I took a photo. I reported this to the manager as well. He was sympathetic, but said she was a veteran employee. Bottom line, steer clear of the lady in the floral department, or dont shop there. 3 stars for the manager; no stars for the employee.

I always seem to find a good deal here. Variety of products, home goods and accessories. Although it can be tough getting assistance from staff members shen needed. It is a great place for home/office decor.

First time Ive been here. You can find anything here. Really good if your looking for seasonal or home goods. Prices are affordable. They have an eating area that reminds me of Costco. The only thing I didnt like is it reminded me of Bargain Hunt because its messy and disorganized. You have to check everything to make sure nothing is missing.

Sad days!!!!! Any Company Who Can’t or Won’t offer a discount to the men and women of our military, whose sacrifices aren’t appreciated, are just greedy. Maybe they should move from the United States to some other land that hasn’t been fought and died for. Absolutely no one to assist you with anything. I’ll never shop here again.
