I went to vision works for the first time to get glasses I don’t normally wear glasses I wear contacts but I wanted to get a pair glasses just to be able to give my eyes a break. I was met by Lisa when I arrived and she took her time and personal care to make sure that I not only got the perfect glasses but I felt comfortable in them as well. Lisa is very professional and very friendly we had a few laughs picking out glasses which made me feel comfortable. If you need anything from vision works ask for Lisa you won’t be disappointed.
Sierra was PHENOMENAL!! This was my first time getting glasses, and she made the process so easy and fun! She took the time to explain all the benefits and information I needed to know; plus, she was incredibly educated about the products available. Such a personable character with a very contagious laugh! I absolutely loved her and will definitely continue my services here because of her!
Checked in, filled out a few forms and started the process. Very good at moving people along almost like a manufacturing facility. Conducted typical eye exam with the doctor. Did not review the eye scan results with me; letting me know if there was issue(s). I guess no news is good news, but if I am charged for it I should have the results reviewed with me. When making payment there were 2 options with or without insurance. Decided to use insurance and get the prescription and not purchase contacts through them. When I called my previous eye doctor, sent them my prescription from Visionworks, they reviewed the prescription and stated non of our insurance was used. Upon further scrutiny of our receipt it did state a discount was applied, not insurance. I get Visionworks makes money and the more going through makes more money, but when it comes to applying quotes with or without insurance I would expect them to be on top of their game based on my experience with their services.
I had the best experience at vision works today!! My wonderful helper Sierra helped me find the perfect glasses for me! They fit my style and personality perfectly. Thank you so much Sierra.
I moved to Nashville and still make the commute to this store for my optometry needs, mainly because of how great Lisa Adams is! Always super helpful and so very kind! She always makes the trip to Murfreesboro well worth it. Highly recommend!!
Devon at Visionworks was my personal optics angel!! I get so frustrated when it comes to dealing with contacts and messing with my eyes and it all makes me kind of insecure… and he was so calm and sweet with me. I don’t know if he has to deal with this all the time but I feel much more confident because he was so understanding with me and took the time to actually listen to what I was having trouble with.If you’re looking for assistance, ask for him!
Vision works is the best! Devon was amazing and was very knowledgeable about everything. He made my visit super easy, would leave 6 stars if I could!
I had a wonderful experience! Lisa Adam’s was knowledgeable and very helpful! She helped me find the perfect frames and is always friendly! I tell all my friends to ask for Lisa!
The person I worked with while getting glasses was amazing. Drew helped me pick out my glasses that stayed in my price range, helped with getting me sunglasses for the first time, and got my glasses back to me in under a week. Would 100% recommend!
I took my 4 year old son, who has a hard time speaking, to VisionWorks Murfreesboro. Dr. Kim was AMAZING getting him to tell him what he saw on the screen & we were able to determine the best route for my little one’s eyes. Also, Tatum, the sweet lady who did my boy’s pretest, did PHENOMENAL. We recommend this place and will be back every eye exam!
Went for my daughter’s first eye exam. She had a great experience. Aly was so kind and patient with her. She got the cutest glasses and overall good experience
I met Devon and had such a wonderful interaction with him. He taught me so much about contacts that now I have a better understanding of them. Thanks Devon!
Just wow, Devon always takes the time to service me and makes sure that I get the correct contact that’s comfortable to wear. He really does go up and beyond to help. He even answered my stupid questions as a first time contact wearer. Thank you guys for going up and beyond!!!!! Woo!
Heather Bowman at the receptionist desk in the Murfreesboro Tn office was a great help to me when I was trying to get reading glasses for work. She helped me find the right frames and eye specialist to help me get the right prescription. She helped with my insurance and the process was great. Thanks
Dana was extremely helpful. I was just browsing for some new frames and she came up and answered many of the questions I had and offered recommendations for what style I liked as well as showing me the sunglasses as well.
Awesome Service, great staff especially Lisa the manager. Everytime me and my family go in for our glasses we always ask for Lisa shes the best optical Salesperson and manger she makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, explains the products very good making it an seem less experience. 5 Stars to Lisa everytime!
Sierra was the best! she made sure i understood everything that was going on & made sure i understood my insurance benefits! if i could give her 6 stars i totally would!
MeganShe was a good helper and took care of her customer with ease. She makes them feel important.
I had Ally to help me out when i got my eyes checked she talked me through every step that she was taking to make sure i was comfortable (which i really appreciated) Definitely want to see her again!
My glasses had been stepped on by my brotherthe people at the front office asked me if i had service with them before.I told them noi do in cookeville, handed the clipboard right back to herself and told me to follow the (employee)The guy told me to put them on and said they looked alright to him.He didn’t even look at my glassesrefused to look at my glasses because they seem straight and not crooked from a distance. They won’t sit on my face how they usually do.
I have profound astigmatism, so it is difficult to get my prescription just right, but Visionworks did an excellent job of making sure I had not only the right prescription but also the right type of lenses. Megan was so kind and so helpful.
Michael Cherry was really the best worker when it came for selecting my glasses and I couldn’t have had a better employee that day
Very professional, great customer service thanks for all your help Michael, you made my experience very pleasant.
Aly was the sweetest today when I came in to get fitted for my contacts and glasses! Definitely recommend getting all your vision needs taken care of here!
Michael Cherry is Awesome he has great customer service skills and go above and beyond to get the job done!
I love coming here! I came in for contacts the other day and everyone was so nice and welcoming!
Heather at reception was amazing. She got me checked in quick and was really kind.
Sierra was so kind and helped me with questions on feeling out my information! She even gave me some pointers!
Staff was so friendly and I got my glasses fast! 10/10 would come again
This office is great. Meagan was very friendly and helpful!
Kelly was very helpful and friendly! She fixed me up with just what I needed.
Lisa Adams has excellent customer service skills! She makes our visit a pleasure!
I had aly, so was amazing she knew what she was doing and answered every question i had
Aly Workman was very professional when helping me with my recent glasses purchase
Came in to vision works and had a exam. It was a wonderful experience!!
I would like to say I had a very phenomenal polite guy ( Michael Cherry) helping me selecting glasses thanks again for having patience because I know I was a pain going back and forth on which one I wanted. I
Dana was professional and helpful with answering all of my questions!
Excellent price and service! Karen was Super Helpful explaining all our benefits, cost, and picking our just the right frames! All the staff was AWESOME! Would leave 6 stars if I could!
Visionworks was super helpful today after my dog chewed my glasses and I was in a pinch to get a new pair before work next week! They worked me in on a busy Saturday morning to have an updated eye exam done and I just picked up my two pairs of glasses 3 hours later the same afternoon. So happy with these new pairs so far and they were very reasonably priced with my insurance.
Jason was EXCELLENT!!!! I love going here and the service is always phenomenal. They take care of me and treat me with respect and kindness. I’m very thankful for how diligent the staff is to ensure you get exactly what you want and, more importantly, what you need. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
Michael cherry 3 is the best employee there.
I went in today to pick up my glasses and I had the experience of dealing with Karen. I went to the desk explaining I am here to pick up glasses she responded with “ok” so I told her my first name and she responded with okay well do you have a last name, and then proceeds to tell me that her crystal ball. Wasn’t working and she wasn’t a mind reader.. not a good experience and won’t be back.
My family has been using this Visionworks for close to a decade and couldn’t have a higher opinion of the service provided by the staff. They staff are attentive and very helpful and we have always had great experiences. 10/10 would recommend.
Very rude customer service. Lost my information several times and told me that it wasnt their problem. Took over a month to get glasses.
Bad phone experience. On the phone forever waiting. Hung up once. Had to call back. I know they are busy. Dr was pretty good. Just needed to ask a question.
Went here twice got my wifes glasses. Both times had issues.First time they messed up her prescription, causing her headaches to the point she couldnt wear them. They told her eyes would adjustto them. After a few days and demanding them to redo the glasses they reluctantly did the first exam they did was off.The second pair, my wife gave them the wrong insurance (our fault there) but the person supposedly ran it and said it was good. So I have no idea what they actually ran if they did at all. But when we gave them the correct insurance info they wouldnt refund the the amount we overpaid them. When the glasses came in they were bent.Anyone looking for a place to get glasses, avoid this place.
My, Mother recently purchased her glasses from vision works she used her insurance, her exam was $60, frames $129,she gets the no line bifocal, which were $315 each lens her total price billed was $840 her she paid $433 out of pocket. Her insurance paid $260 .When she received her statement from her insurance they had only billed them with the total amount being $729 so we returned to the Murfreesboro store and questioned them they said that was a third party that collects the rest of the money so just know that if you buy your glasses there you are also being billed a third party that you are paying. We ended up going back because she could not read her prescription bottle with her new glasses but could with her old ones.We decided to return them when I ask for the manager he stood up and was very rude took the bill ask for her glasses and tossed them with anger into the trash can behind him. This was the worst experience I or my family have ever had. We will not return the furniture is ragged and there is plywood over two of the windows bad business .
I personally have been going here for 15 years and have never had a bad experience the staff has always been kind and my prescription has always been correct! The ladies at reception are the sweetest and really put in the time and effort helping me locate my insurance. At every part of my appointment I was greeted with a friendly face of someone who offered their help! I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a new vision care facility with hospitality.
Rude. Discriminate. Rushed. They were not transparent about pricing. I inquired about what my insurance covered and received 3 different responses and paid far more than told!
This was my first time going to a visionworks. I will not be going back. The staff was extremely rude. I was rushed through the eye exam and ended up with the wrong prescription. I told the doctor it seemed wrong and he told me that my eyes just needed to adjust. After about an hour of wearing the new prescription I started getting a headache that got worse until I had to take the contacts out and lay down in the dark. Ive been wearing glasses and contacts for years and have never had this problem after getting a new prescription. This has become a huge hassle. I had to contact my insurance company because they only pay for one eye exam a year. After looking at a picture of my receipt the insurance said that visionworks significantly overcharged me for the exam. Based on that they said they will be investigating this particular visionworks and have agreed to reinstate my benefits for this year so I can go somewhere else and get the correct prescription.
I have always come here to get glasses for myself and my son. Yesterday we came in for my sons yearly eye exam but left without the exam being complete or getting glasses for him for the new school year. He was able to do the first two tasks for the technician but after getting one eye with the air puff he was just done and having difficulty sitting completely still for her. He was getting frustrated with the process and just wanted it to be over, previous technicians have just moved us along once hes gotten to this point and weve always been able to see the doctor. But she seemed to just be frustrated as well so I asked to take a break. Due to covid there was no where to sit and she just moved on to other people and after waiting she never came back to us so we left. No one contacted us afterwards either.
I’ve always had difficulty doing the eye exam before seeing the optometrist because of anxiety. My eyes would water too much and sometimes would NOT stay open, there was even one time that I had to hold my eyes open to be able to do the machine with the puff of air. Thankfully, I had an extremely patient and nice woman, her name is Breonna, who helped me calm my nerves while she operated the machine. She was able to get me through the exam faster than any eye appointment I’ve been through before. After the exam she then listened to my wants about my glasses helped me pick out a pair that was perfect for me. Check out was extremely fast and the people were very nice. I can’t wait for my new glasses to come in!! I will definitely be coming here again. :)
Misty was AWESOME!!! She was very respectful and answered every question I threw at her professionally. Shes the BEST!
Great experience, Misty was the reason - she was helpful, kind and extremely professional - ask for Misty, she will take good care of you!
I received a bill on a replacement pair of glasses for my child. I called the insurance and confirmed that he got 1 pair of glasses and as many replacement glasses as needed. I was advised to call vision works and explain to them that they recoded the replacement pair wrong and it needed to be fixed. the girl I spoke too was not understanding so i asked to speak to someone else. Stephany apparently a manager gets on the phone and i proceeded to explain to her what was going on. She kept interrupting me and telling me i was wrong that she had dealt with this for 6 years. I tried once again to explain that i had already talked to the insurance company and she was wrong and she hung up on me after telling me i could call back later and talk to another manager. I shouldnt have to call back later, an employee should give a customer a chance to explain what is going on instead of interrupting every other word i attempted to say. I called the insurance company back who called and got vision works billing number and on conference call Billing and insurance discussed the benefits and the fact that i was correct that i should not have been changed and that vision works miscoded the replacement glasses. I really dont like their ugly selection of frames for children either. They should have nice looking frames that are covered by insurance. Ill be looking for another location.
This place was so much nicer than the Smyrna one!!!!! Staff is exceptionally nice and answered all my concerns!!!
Terrible place to go to, unprofessional management. My girl worked there 2 years and was treated with disrespect. Would come home crying because of Jason the manager there would emotionally abuse her. She quit not too long ago and he tried messing with her last check and tried to fire her after she already quit. Terrible place wouldn’t recommend anyone
Lots of glasses to choose from. Fast service and friendly .
Restroom was filthy, which is surprising for a medical type facility. Honestly, I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at gas stations. Makes one wonder how sanitary the exam equipment is. Will probably go elsewhere next time.
This place is horrible. I paid for 12 months of contacts and they only gave me 6 months. They refuse to refund my $150 for the other 6 months. They claim they can do this because my prescription expired before i ordered contacts. (Then why did they give me the first 6 months if that’s the case?) Ive been told 7 different stories gaslighting me and one employee even accused me of picking up all the contacts and lying. We’ll see what a lawyer has to say about it. Always had great experiences at other visionworks.
Went here to get a standard eye exam. Gave my insurance upon arrival. Get my eye exam and after the exam they tell me it’s not covered. Insurance should always be checked prior to the exam even if it takes a while. I’d recommend going somewhere else for your eye exam.
Got my glasses from vision works and Michael did an amazing job all the way from helping me pick my frames out to making sure I had the appropriate lenses for my prescription. Fantastic work vision works.
The worst establishment ever! Called 4xs left on hold 10 plus minutes each time. Requested to speak to a manager bc the whole staff was to incompetent to put in a refill order. Finally got someone on the phone to tell me the contact department has gone home for the night.
I went to Visionworks today for an exam and glasses. Every employee made the experience a good one and even the customers waiting were all polite and friendly. When it came time to choose frames, I can’t see anything without my glasses so Misty helped me choose two pairs. She was great and extremely helpful. Overall, I was very happy with my visit and will definitely be back!
I had a great experience at Visionworks because of a very educated kind sales person by the name of Matt. As a retired nurse I know he reciprocated to me that he was a true professional at his job! Thank you Matt! I will be referring my friends to VISIONWORKS!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every member of the staff felt belittling towards me. You will NOT feel a warm welcome here. The optometrist was extremely dismissive towards me, however he did fix my vision better than any optometrist previous. The front staff were not friendly when I went for my appointment and were equally as rude a week later when I went to pickup my glasses. To add insult to injury, my eye appointment was scheduled for 8:00a.m but was not seen until 8:45a.m so what was the point of scheduling an appointment slot?I will never recommend this place to anyone. If your employer covers other offices in network—go to those. Avoid this office until they fix their customer service.
Visionworks as a whole is a great place. I have taken my kids there for 10 years in multiple locations, however, this particular location is horrible. Ordered 6 months of contacts for my daughter, only one eye came in and they claimed they could not refund my money until the lenses arrived. I called every week (trying to get someone on the phone is like pulling teeth) and every time I was told they were still on back order or they would do an investigation. Almost a year later they stated the lenses had arrived and I did not come in for them and sent them back. Finally received a refund but that’s still a year my daughter did not have clear vision. The sales team is great when you are purchasing something but the moment there is an issue those happy helpful attitudes change to rudeness and condescending attitudes.
Shelby was very polite and kind on the phone and assisted me when another location was being difficult. Definitely appreciated her willingness to assist.
I love this place. I have been coming here for over 3 years. The staff are great and so helpful.
This is place is horrible, they diagnosed my daughter with all sorts of vision issues we got a second opinion and that optometrist disagreed with visionworks. In my honest opinion I think they are trying to get more money from insurance. I have been fighting for 6 weeks to get them to put a retraction through to the insurance company for the glasses they ordered. I will never reccomend visionworks to anyone and no one in my family will ever go back visionworks again.
Just erased a 5-page essay of why I hate this company when the public just needs to know that the exams are inaccurate, the staff is incompetent (and mostly untrained), and no one pays any attention to detail. Not that I can voice my complaints over the phone, as they never answer. I’ll see you first thing tomorrow morning to discuss a refund for your poor services and a waste of my (and your) time.
THE WORST PLACE TO GET AN EYE EXAM!!! Service is horrible and they DO NOT keep their word on what they say. Don’t walk away, RUN from this location!
Only leaving one star because you have to for a review, I would absolutely leave none of possible. This was the absolute worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I set up appointments for my daughter and myself and gave insurance info over the phone when the appointments were made upon the receptionist request (she said she needed it to make it faster the day we would be coming in). When we got there for the exams every single employee on the floor was rude and seemed to be more interested in goofing off and cutting up with one another than to be doing their jobs. There were multiple times that I heard foul language from more than one employee, mind you my daughter is 7 and was not the only young child that was present in the waiting area. They finally called my daughter back for her pre exam and got her into an exam room and then I hear my name from the lobby. They expected for our exams to be done separately even though I specifically asked when appointments were made and was told we would be kept together?! We ended up in the same exam room after having to explain to the tech that I was not leaving my daughter alone. When the doctor finally came in he rushed through our exams and sent us back out to look through frames. While looking for frames we were called up to the desk and told that they couldn’t get along of the insurance company and we Seoul’s have to pay out of pocket and contact out ins to be reimbursed. If they aren’t going to use the info they collect when you make an appointment why even waist the time and breathe asking for it and why would they wait till after the exam to try to confirm insurance?? We picked out frames and spent forever listening to the employee trying to upsale special lenses. All in all we were there for over two hours and felt like nothing but an inconvenience and rushed the whole time. When I got my glasses the prescription was all wrong so I called to see what I needed to do to get them fixed. They were extremely rude about it telling me “well there isn’t anything we can do over the phone, you’ll have to come back in” I asked if I needed to make an appointment for this and was told no after being transferred to the manager who was also extremely rude. I when in as directed for a re exam and waited for 4 hours to be seen. When I asked what was taking so long I was told “you didn’t make an appointment so we’re having to work you in”. Got my new glasses and they are still wrong. I am so disappointed with this experience. I am going to go else where to have our exams redone by someone who actually knows what they are doing if they messed mine up twice I’m sure my daughter’s are incorrect as well. I work as a vet tech and I can honestly say that we treat animals better than this place treated us. The staff is incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and beyond rude. I don’t recommend anyone go here unless you want your time and money waisted.
Very bad place to buy prescription glasses. I needed my glasses for everyday use including working at my computer. I had to lean my neck back o read my monitor, bring it down to drive and look for a focus point when reading. I came by and they told me they could do nothing. The Optometrist told me I could use it for computer and the guy who talked to me said it cannot be done (tri-focal). They did not do anything at all, I am using my old prescription glasses. I dont think I will ever come back and I do not recommend o any one.
We are still waiting. My partner had an appointment at 2:30p. We got here early, and its currently 4:30p. My partner was seen just after 3p, and was given the solution that dilated their pupils. Its been over an hour that theyve had their pupils dilated, and theyve been left, unexamined, in the waiting room. One of the employees here just let them know that they were forgotten. We have been here for over two hours. If we hadnt already paid and if my partner hadnt already had their eyes dilated, we would be leaving. And its sorry to see the recent reviews of this business echo much the same experience as we are receiving today. If a business cant perform the duties theyre selling, they shouldnt be comfortable taking the customers money and time.
Misty was amazing! Very grateful! Quick service & she was very thorough with me.
Have to leave one star for review but this location is zero stars. My husband had a very poor experience today. Customer service is severely lacking here by all of the staff including the doctor who was extremely rude.
Omg this place is so nice. I just moved to Murfreesboro and needed some new glasses because mine broke. They got me in and got me glasses the same day. They were so funny and really were honest in telling me if I looked bad. Definitely recommend Thomas he was so nice. Thanks visionworks!
Saved over 100 on a single pair of glasses with insurance by going to America’s best. The person here wanted 209 though my frames were almost completely covered.... I said ok sir I’m gunna go shop other places that doesn’t seem right. He laughed and said “you’ll be back” that confirmed that I would in fact not be back. They just seem young in there and though I’m a real layer back person..... I ain’t gettin played!
Everyone was very nice. Service was efficient. Patrick was AMAZING helping us pick out glasses and making sure we got the most out of our benefits. He made my day!
The receptionist Kayla is an excellent help.
My husband had an appointment at 2pm. The doctor didn’t see him until 3:30pm. Not to mention they called multiple people back who came in as a walk in before he ever saw the doctor. Finally he gets called to a desk after waiting another 30 minutes and the receptionist put the glasses he had picked out back up so he has to search for them again. It’s now 4:15pm and they’ve apparently been on “hold” with the insurance. Come to find out the assistant had been spelling his name wrong the entire time and it could’ve saved us an hour if they had any type of organization and were actually paying attention to his paperwork. After we get this pair of glasses we will never be back to this location again. We shouldn’t have even wasted our money on this pair but after waiting almost 3 hours we didn’t want to waste all this time for nothing. This seems to be a BIG issue with this location and something needs to be done.Update: they continued to look up the wrong insurance policy and then told him that his eye care expired when he was 22 which is 100% BS then made him pay $60 for the worst service we’ve ever received. So we waited 3 hours and went through a bunch of BS to walk out empty handed. They couldn’t even give him a physical copy of his prescription. Thanks for nothing.
I just want to share my story. Back in May I received my prescription glasses and loved them, I had a health issue occured and broke my glasses. Other Vision places have you purchase a warranty. Ive been short on funds to purchase a new pair. I spoke with the manager Misty and took great care of me. She helped me with a new pair and hot me seeing again. Thank you Vision Works and Misty for helping me.
They don’t care about your business. Been trying to get contacts from them since January and they finally come and they aren’t even the right prescription.
If I could give this location zero stars I would. If an award was given to the worst customer service a person could receive this location would win. Is not the front desk supposed to display professionalism? At this location front desk employees are found gossiping, talking negatively about customers, not showing a willingness to help, and above all lacking ANY & ALL respect. I would not send anyone to this place for a free eye exam, a free box of contacts, or even a lifetime supply of free glasses. I actually had to let my family and friends know how bad I was treated so that they would avoid going to Visionworks. No reason to feel belittled if you dont have to.
Staff didnt really spend much time with me on how I would need to use my glasses and seemed more interested in up selling me.They also do not inform you that they arent taking returns at the time of purchase. Still getting the run-around on trying to return my glasses because they dont work for me for both reading and computer work. Will go to a full optometrist office next time to get personalized assistance instead of this one size fits all selling environment. Do not recommend.
They were busy and I understand why they were trying to hurry for each person, but they rushed to much to where I didn’t get all the information I needed. I ended up asking the guy that was helpful a ton of questions. He even said himself that they didn’t tell me nothing back there. Because of that guy, it’s 2 stars. Without him, I’d rate it 1 star. I’d prefer a longer wait for better service than quick and bad service
This was my 3rd trip. Dr. Wilhoit changed my prescription and it didn’t work. I returned for are-exam and we tried a different prescription. It was better but still not correct. I returned today and it was not busy. I was taken in with the tech right away. She was wonderful. I asked if they could just make my prescription the same as my old one. She ask Dr. Yucho Kim if he could write it for Air Optix like I had. He acted like he didn’t want to but he walk in quickly and snatched the paper from her and went to print it. When the tech got it, it was incorrect. She told him and it made him mad to quite playing with his phone to correct it. At that point I asked him if he put astigmatism on the left and he replied No very shortly as he rush out. She asked for his help to find the correct trial pair and again he didn’t want to get off his phone. He kept asking why I wanted that brand. I told him that was what I was prescribed at last year’s visit and had worn them for years. They have worked well for me. He went back to playing with his phone. He was all about his phone and not the customers! They did not have in stock the exact lens for the left eye so she had to ask about a substitute and he made it clear he didn’t like that either. He said that is the final one! He was the rudest and most unprofessional imitation of any dr. I have ever encountered in my life. I will add that Dr. Wilhoit was professional and nice! When I get this corrected I will take my business where they act as if they care about their patients and business.
I recently had my eye exam done here. The reason I chose them was (#1) I had had my eye exam done there previously in the past (#2) Our insurance covered to have it done here. Not the greatest experience this time. Some of the staff was standing around like they had nothing to do when several us were waiting (to be fitted for glasses, etc.). Then the doctor who did my eye exam was not thorough. I told him I had had plugs in my tear ducts several years ago so he said he would check them. He forgot about them after the exam until I said something and then one of the plugs was no longer there. The doctor didn’t even offer to put in a new one. Also, when I told him I wanted contacts, he made it sound so difficult to get the prescription due to my stigmatism and needing bifocals. I just told him to give me the eye prescription at that point as I was so aggravated with it. The you guy who helped me with the glasses was the one and only who made the whole experience pleasurable which is the ONLY reason I gave the overall rating of 3 stars instead of 1.
I’m not one to post reviews because I also work in Customer Service so I know how it feels to receive a bad one...but today was the worst I’ve ever been treated and humiliated, in my entire Visionworks experience. I went for my yearly eye exam, I already expressed to the doctor I wasn’t getting new glasses today. I was purchasing somewhere else. She understood completely and was very kind. Once I returned to the waiting room my name was called. The man helping me insisted that I use my insurance to get some frames because it would be free, I proceeded to tell him I was doing it another way. He raised his voice and continued to state his opinion about me not using my insurance to purchase frames. I kept informing him that I was purchasing elsewhere that my insurance would still be allowed. He grew very frank and quite rude and He didn’t give me my printed prescription, instead told me I was free to leave. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Vision Works again.
Terrible. No need for an explanation, go experience the piss poor performance they offer. I think you could get a better service from a 5yr olds personal lemonade stand.
What a blessing!!! I lost my glasses in the ocean while on vacation, called my home location in Murfreesboro the same day as we were leaving to go home the next day. Lisa at the store had my lenses ready when I went in, got my glasses that same day. Had wonderful customer service experience with Lisa, she was so kind and helped me to get my glasses within a couple hours.
Dr. Kim was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I did have to wait but not long. The whole staff was kind and professional.
During these crazy and abnormal times, my visit today was easy and painless. The staff did an amazing job of following all protocols to ensure safety to all their clients. Patrick assisted me with my choosing of frames and all the details needed to choose the best option for me. Thanks Patrick and the whole staff for making my experience smooth, easy and safe.
Best place to get your eyes checked, Lisa was so helpful with me and kids. She helped my daughter learn how to put in contacts and really took care of her. They are the best!! Thank you Visionworks!
PATRICK assisted my husband and I with our new glasses. He was very helpful, very professional and polite!Steve the lab Manger ROCKS he madeSure our blue tint was perfect! They are the reason we will go back!
I have visited this office twice. Each time I had a great experience. The first time there, Jason, the training manager and the staff were so welcoming and professional. They took their time, was patient and helped me pick out some really nice frames. The second time I visited, I was having a pretty serious eye issue. Again, Jason and the staff made me feel at ease I saw Dr. S;ears. He was great. He took his time, and explained why I was having issues with my eye. I am so thankful for Jason, and the staff at Visionworks for caring enough to give me the care I needed with my eye.
Had a wonderful experience from the time I walked in the door. Every single staff member was very polite and very professional. With the Covid 19 I am always a little nervous to go into any place of business. My visit was most definitely a sucess. Thanks Visionworks so much . Cant wait to get my new glasses.
OH MY GOODNESS! This is the best optometrist’s office I have ever been to! Right from the start, I was greeted so wonderfully by Susan and Patrice who helped me through the paperwork process so quickly. I was then pretested by Isaiah who was so kind and friendly. The doctor was also so helpful and explained everything throughout the whole exam! When it came time to buy my contacts, Mary and Kayla helped me through the whole contact buying process and helped me get the most out of my insurance. I totally recommend this doctor’s office to everyone looking to get an eye exam!
Update: after much confusion. They refunded me, and also found my correct insurer. If you decide to visit here simply make sure you know your vision plan so that they dont get it wrong. Also be ready to wait. They stay busy. Overall they were the only place open on weekends so that was convenient and everyone I interacted with was nice, they were just confused about the situation like I was.Staff was nice however Im not sure I understand their process. At first they told me that my insurance only covered the exam not a contact fit. I assumed a contact fit meant I would try a pair on in-store and they would give me that pair in a certain cost. They said we wont do a contact fit because it isnt covered on my insurance. I said thats fine. But before I left they said they could give me another brand to take home. I said thats fine. The lady did not have me try them on or anything. I paid and left because they were busy and I was already there an hour and a half despite having made an appointment. Later I checked the receipt and they charged me for the brand I was supposed to get. Which was $60. I called them the next day and they claim that charge is to release my prescription. Ive never had to pay a fee to release my prescription. Its always been supplied to me with the exam. She said thats just how they break out the costs and that every doctor does that but that they bundle it. Make of it what you will. ( My insurance is also supposed to cover the cost of an exam annually however the receipt only showed a partial credit.)
