Everytime we’ve come in here it’s been nothing but love and great service. The staff is extremely friendly and patient. They did an excellent job helping us choose paint colors. I even had to go get a gallon of paint and I unknowingly got there right at closing time and they still welcomed me with open arms. Amazing company, products and people!

We have been going to Hoover Paint Store for over 15 years. They have never let us down, ever. Their staff is very knowledgeable and are glad to answer questions. I use them for my work and home projects. Some of their staff members have been there for as long as I can remember, which speaks to the nature of their business and how they run it. We still have a five gallon bucket with about 1/2 of paint left in it with the color named Louis Carlisle III. Why the third? Because he helped custom mix a color for our exterior and adjusted it three times to make it just right.I was a Porter only guy for years. Over the last year or so they have gotten me into Benjamin Moore paints. Jeff knows those products and has great recommendations on what to use where. Here is my take on paint: buy the best you can get. It is a very cheap part of any project relative to all of the other associated costs involved. Bad paint can ruin a great project. Great paint will make it shine, or not, depending on the sheen you choose ;)Hoover Paint Store is the best paint store I have ever used and I very highly recommend them.

He showed me all the supplies I would need and walked me through step my step what I needed to do. He is extremely personable and made the whole process so enjoyable! I walked in at 4:30, waited at a counter while people constantly walked past me (I am the ONLY customer in the store), I gave the look of needing help, which anyone in customer service and sales would know the look, no one helped. I moved to another counter, still no help but a few more people walk by me. I go stand by the paint swatches again, another gentleman walks past while I ask for help by saying, help please with my hand up, he stares at me and continues on his merry way.It was 4:48 & not one person offered to help.Thanks for helping me find what I need.Not.
