I looked into a lot of places to get my industrial piercing done and could not find anything, I decided to walk in to this tattoo parlor and I was surprised. They were very friendly and attentive, they had availability so I got my piercing very quickly. Because of the shape of my ear they had to make some modifications to placement but the piercing still looks so good. Everyone who has seen it so far has complimented it. I am happy that I decided to walk in and whenever I am getting a piercing they have my business for sure!

My husband brought our 8 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. They were both very impressed with the professionalism and polite yet friendly way they were treated. That matched up with the conversation I had on the phone with the piercer earlier in the day to make an appointment. My daughter is very happy with how the procedure was done and how well her ears are healing. The piercer really took her time and made sure the marks for the holes were lined up properly before she did the actual piercing. $60.00 covered everything, from the piercing, to the studs, to the cleaning solution they sent her home with. The only heads up I would give is that they didnt have a very wide selection of earrings to choose from, so if you want something specific for the first six weeks after your ears are pierced, be sure to bring it with you. They do only take cash, so keep that in mind when you plan to go for their services. I highly recommend them!

Today is my 5 year old daughters birthday. They were nice enough to spend there skill and time to draw on my daughter. They even did it as professionally as they could. I am so glad that multiple artists took time to share their talent. I am very impressed with the service my family was given. We were treated like thier actual customers I cannot thank them enough

After years of debating, I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I looked over hundreds of different artists/shops and ultimately decided on Oscar Castillo at State Street Tattoo. I messaged the shop via email and received a quick response back from them, they explained how Oscar doesn’t speak English but they’d be willing to help me out if I wanted to get the tattoo done by him. I loved his style and other tattoos he had done so I definitely wanted Oscar for my first one.They were able to get me in the next week for a consultation. During that consultation, Greg was extremely helpful in translating between Oscar and I to ensure I’d receive exactly what I wanted. The day of the appointment I could tell that Oscar worked very hard on the design to make sure I’d love it. Greg offered up some last minute translating and before I knew it, 6 hours later I had my first tattoo. 3 months have went by since then and I still absolutely love my tattoo. I can’t thank Greg and Oscar enough for what they did for me! Also, although I didn’t interact with Patrick, I could tell he loves his job and has amazing customer service skills so shoutout to everyone at this shop!!!

I have had a truly awful experience with this business. I am very upset and unhappy, and I want a full refund. I went in yesterday to get my septum pierced and I felt very uncomfortable from the moment I was taken back into the piercing room. The man that pierced me wasnt rude, but I felt like there definitely was a lack of compassion from the get go. I have had my ears pierced six times, a bridge piercing, and my nostril, and I have always been prepared before the piercing. He didnt tell me when he was going to push the needle through, he just went for it after he put on the clamps. No okay take a deep breath in for me or anything. It partially hurt worse because I didnt even know the needle was going in.Now, I heavily have researched septum piercings and my partner and several friends all have septums. There is a very specific small membrane that is up in your nose, and that is where the piercing goes. It is NOT supposed to go through cartilage. I have an exceptionally high pain tolerance, and this piercing was absolutely agonizing. I knew when I heard several layers of cartilage popping as he tried very hard to get the needle through that he had done it incorrectly. I said it looked fine, even though it looked VERY low. The pain was so bad after the piercing that I just wanted to leave and go home. I get home, and my nose is bright red and is starting to massively swell. I am bleeding profusely at even the slightest touch of the piercing. After consulting my partner and a different piercing artist, we all agree it was done incorrectly and I have it removed the same day. Im not sure if the man was having an off day or didnt really know how to actually do it, but I would not recommend getting a septum here. Maybe they can do other piercings, but they can absolutely not do septums. I went here because they are the only people that are doing nose piercings right now and I was eager to get one, and it was absolutely the wrong choice. I really wish I would have just waited and went to an actual piercing studio, because this was a horrible experience. PLEASE just wait until the pandemic has calmed down and the mask mandate is gone and get your facial piercings with a real piercing studio!!!!

I got my nipples pierced and I was nervous but my piercer made me feel comfortable and at ease. It was fast with moderate pain. My piercing has not gotten infected which is the best part. I will be going back.

Love going here got my Medusa piercing redone after it was messed up at another piercing shop. Had the best experience the piercing came out amazing healed quickly and beautifully totally worth it. Sierra was amazing

Went in to get my daughter a new bar for her piercing, only to have the person replacing the bar rip it out of her skin when they went to tighten it. Not going back there for anything

This is a great tattoo place artist are awesome especially Aaron does great work they know what theyre doing they can do what you want and Beyond. True artist they can take a simple drawing and turned it into a beautiful work of art affordable prices these people are really in it for the art. We will be back many more times

Went here for daith piercings with my daughter. I dont remember the name of the woman who pierced us, but she was very friendly and definately knew what she was doing. Just remember to bring cash because they dont take cards. There is an ATM there in the shop but for me it was glitchy and I didnt want to pay the $3 fee to withdraw from it. It did work out though because my daughter paid and I used venmo to pay her back. That was literally the only bad thing about the whole experience.

We had a great experience with the artist there and had an ear piercing appt. However when we arrived the front door was locked. The only note that was displayed was to wear masks which we had on. So we went around the side door and came in. The owner was visibly frustrated that we did that. The other tattoo place we had checked out before. At least had a sign on the door that said to call when you arrive at the door. I cant read the mind of the owner. I understand that were/ they all are trying to be cautious. But each establishment is creating their own protocols/ procedures that vary from business to business. I do hope they will try to be more organized, so that customers will know what to do in the future. Glad to help support our local businesses!

Really cool tattoo shop, my girlfriend and I went there to get her nose pierced and everything went smooth and fast.

Sierra pierced my septum and it was a great experience! The shop is cool and chill. They kept things sterile and safe, but I still felt comfortable. Sierra was gentle and calming and gave me water afterwards when I was feeling a little lightheaded! Ask for her if you get pierced here!

My friend and I both booked our appointments for October 16th 2020. We each paid a 60 dollar deposit. She booked hers with Tegan and I booked mine with Greg. The day of my appointment I called to confirm and the receptionist informed me Greg’s schedule was empty for the entire week because he was out of town. (On vacation) I explained to her I had paid a deposit and took time off for this day. Very disappointed. She called him on the phone and he asked to reschedule for Wednesday, which I could not do. She told me he would call me to work things out. Never did I hear from him until I reached out explaining I had moved out of state and needed my deposit back. He said they’re not refundable but would get back to me later. I’ve tried to reach out again in hopes of getting my deposit back and (via Instagram he’s seen my messages but no response) VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I will be sharing my experience with Greg to all my friends, family, Facebook and Instagram family. I give state street tattoo a 0. Make sure you don’t book an appointment with Greg. You may not get a tattoo or your money back... 👎🏻

This was my first time getting a tattoo at Doc Holliday. The staff was super friendly and my artist Aaron was super amazing. My best friend and her family have only gone to Doc Holliday for their tattoos and they look amazing. I got all three of my tattoos done in 1 day only took a couple hours but he made sure i was comfortable and in a good position for my forearm tattoo. I’ve reached out to this shop 3 different times to set up an appointment to discuss a tattoo. I’ve called, no answer. I’ve sent messages on Facebook like it said to do, no response (but they read the message). I’ve even tried to get someone else to reach out to see when an appointment could be made, and also no response. I called again, they answered (YAY) the shop told me to go to the Facebook page and send a message through there to book an appointment. Okay, so I wrote again, and again my message was only opened and no response. It has been 3 weeks now waiting, I assumed y’all were busy so I’ve been patient.My rating is strictly based off of the lack of customer service I’ve received. I’m literally trying to throw money at you guys, screaming for you to take it and INK ME UP.. but no response :(I’ve heard many great things about this shop, and would have loved to come in and get some quality work done! Good luck to the next, hopefully you can get an appointment booked or at least a response.

I cant say enough good things about Greg. I was an evening walk-in (I dont recommend this--its rude, but he was so great about it). He was incredibly kind, supportive of my choices, encouraging when I got nervous, and totally rolled with it when I changed my mind mid-tattoo. Walked into Doc Holiday on a whim after a few other shops werent what I was hoping for. I was greeted by some very friendly guys that seemed down to earth and happy to talk to me. Brian (my artist) drew the design I wanted in few ways to help me make the best decision. It hurt like hell, but we laughed and had a great time doing it. Overall fun and welcoming environment with some cool people. Love my new tat. Will definitely be back.

I think they did a great job on an ear piercing. I have no idea what theyre like for tattoos. Its fairly easy to find, it was easy to get it in to be seen. And they have a good price on the ear piercing.

I’ve heard good things about this place and their tattoos, but this is not the place you want to get pierced. I got my belly button pierced here, and they used too short of a stud that once the swelling occurred I had the large bulb growing into the actual piercing. I had to get a new longer piece of jewelry somewhere else and I still have scar tissue around my belly button because of this. Edit: since I have to clarify this, I’m not talking about a normal amount of scar tissue around my belly button (I have multiple piercings I’m well aware of normal scarring) I have over a quarter inch of scar tissue around the piercing from where my body tried to heal around top bulb after swelling. When I went in they only offered one size of post for the jewelry and rather than try to work around that I decided to go to a piercing studio I knew would be able to fix it.

My husband and I have been getting tattooed by the owner Greg for 10 years. We have never had a problem, very professional and his skills are amazing. His facility is clean and follows proper cleaning techniques .We would never get tattooed anywhere else. Highly recommended!!!

Staff was incredibly warm and friendly. Best customer service Ive had at a shop. I went to go get my nipples pierced a couple years ago for my birthday and everyone was very reassuring and comforting about it. I was nervous obviously to get this piercing done. But when I left one was crooked. At the time, it didnt bother me. But it eventually gave me problems even though I have always took proper care of them. I ended up removing them out of fear.Very considerate staff, but I probably wouldnt trust getting another piercing there.

It was my first tattoo, and I was nervous but he was the coolest funniest person and it made me feel completely relaxed. it was a great experience I actually got 2 tattoos in one session. A family friendly tattoo parlor - YES! Took my seven year old daughter there to get her ears pierced. Aaron was amazingly charming, professional, and quickly developed a rapport with my daughter quelling and fear or anxiety she may have had about it. Allen (the owner) is incredibly knowledgable, and is happy to speak at length about the art, the style, and the history of tattooing. He genuinely loves it as an art form and is versed in its styles and techniques. When in the chair, you feel like youre there with a friend.

Friendly enough but had issues with scheduling a bit and felt extremely rushed inside while there for a piercing. Informative but they also used a sanitized needle instead of a brand new one. New ones are of course safer than trusting the sanitizing solution in most of these establishments. They do it to save on cost of course but i wouldnt risk it again. Layout inside was ok but not very welcoming and there was tattoo chairs scattered inside and not individual parlors but they had a piercing room in the back. This place used to be Doc Johnson just an fyi

Got my daith piercing here. It was fast and painless! They prepped everything to the T and even offered to change out the piercing once its all healed. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I brought a friend in to do her piercing and we waited 30 minutes just to be rescheduled. Place is clean and the tattoo artists do amazing work from what Ive seen while we waited.
