I had such an amazing time at Fantasy Bridal! Usually its hard to find modest dresses that dont feel like they all look the same, but their selection was amazing and I felt like I had a lot of choices! I felt comfortable trying on dresses unlike a couple other places Ive been that dont have dresses to be as modest as I want. My consultant Q was AMAZING — SO nice, fun, patient, and understanding of what we were looking for. Highly recommended!!
We had been to several bridal dress stores before coming here. When we arrived the salesperson would not allow me, as the mother of the bride, to go help pick out dresses or even be in the room to help my daughter try the dresses on. She then kept telling my daughter that I was mad because she was trying on immodest dresses! I wasn’t mad I was heart broken that I was not allowed to be involved! What a horrible experience!

The dress selection is big, they have the whole line of sample sizes, and the consultants really know what they are doing!I bought my gown from them and also used their alterations. They did a FANTASTIC job! The dress looked beautiful before, but the extra additions and alterations made it look absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend!

I bought my dress here and I am over the moon thrilled. Being a bigger girl (size 18) I never felt uncomfortable or out of place. There were endless options and I was so happy. The girls are so kind and I will recommend this shop to every bride. I went to 5 shops before hand, and not a single one met the variety or price.
I found my dress here after going to a couple other places. I loved the selection, they had beautiful dresses in my budget, and the girls were all so nice and helpful! After I bought my dress I also got alterations here and they turned out perfect with no issues or hassles picking things up or being ready on time. Highly recommend!

Truly I had an amazing experience, it was the first dress I tried on in the store after trying on 40 at about 5 other different stores. They were very helpful and accommodating!! My stylist Q was amazing! I highly recommend visiting this store, Im a big girl so I was concerned about not finding a dress that looked halfway decent. She found dresses that looked fantastic and were within my budget. I was so happy I had choices that all looked amazing.
3 stars because the girl that helped me find my dress was absolutely amazing and because they have a good selection of dresses, but their alterations arent the best.As for alterations they could have been better. When I was trying on dresses they told me they had a date almost a month away for alterations, but when I got to the register to pay for it they told me they only had one 2 weeks away. I mentioned that I was told they had a later one and they blew it off and still pushed for me to come in earlier, I did, even though I didnt want to. Then once I got the dress back I think I was still in awe with my dress and didnt realize things that should have been fixed on the dress while I was in the store. I got it back and realized they left a big hole on the inside, where they probably used it to turn the dress inside out to be able to sew things. They also left a lot of extra fabric where the seams met which created a bulge on the sides of the dress as well as in the center of the dress, which made the dress look very unflattering.I took it to someone in my town who is known for alterations and she was in shock at the job they did and said they could have done better. I feel like their alterations were very overpriced for the job they did on my dress, especially since I had to go find someone else to fix their mistakes or possibly their laziness.. I really dont know what it was. But Im not happy about paying them to do the alterations and now having to pay someone else to fix/clean up what they did. When she was looking at the dress she found the hole they left and was in shock they left it like that. I hadnt realized it was like that at the store or I would have said something. I know I didnt create the hole because This was only the 2nd time I had tried it on since bringing it home and didnt do anything to rip it. She turned it inside out to see what they did around the parts bulging and found that they left a ton of fabric in that area and had also just left it messy with a ton of extra thread.
Updated:2021 with wedding pictures!Went to Fantasy Bridal after going to 4 other dress shops. I am from out of state but my wedding will be here in salt lake. I am a plus size women and it can be difficult to find dresses in my size. Ashley help me and as soon as I showed her other dresses I had tried on, she knew exactly what to bring me next. She brought me an allure ball gown with floral and sparkle. Even tho it was a totally small size. Ashley help me try it on to get a feel for it. It was perfect. Everyone was crying! I knew that was my dress. This was in October. Just came in town for the holidays and allure was having a plus size trunk show. My dress was there In a bigger size. As soon as I put it on, there was that overwhelming feeling all over again! Ordered my dress two days ago. I couldn’t be happier! Thank you to Ashley for helping me find my dream dress! I recommend this bridal shop to all brides! They are amazing!
After a couple mishaps I had a good phone call conversation with the owner and she wanted to make things right and did her very best to repair and apologize for what had happened. I was very pleased and thankful we were able to come out of the situation in a positive manner. I love my dress, and can’t wait to show it off at my wedding!
I just went this morning to look for a dress and the sales associates are all really nice. The one that helped me she was amazing. I showed her pictures of what I looking at and what I had tried on. She took all of that and had me try on some amazing dresses!!! It was fun to see what the other girls were trying on. It was like one big dress up party!!! In the end I found my dress there and came home with it. Along with some accessories to go with the dress!!!
I just loved Fantasy Bridal! Im getting married in 2 months, so I was unsure if I was going to find the perfect dress in a limited budget and timeframe. But as soon as I visited the store, I got an appointment for the very same day, and Meg was of great help to find my dress in only 30 minutes. I also received 30 % off in all my accessories. I LOVED my experience at Fantasy Bridal!!! I HIGHLY recommend getting the dress assistant Q aka Queen. She is every sense of the word and I even felt like a queen from the second i walked in. There was such an abundant amount of dresses in such a variety.
I went to Fantasy as a backup when other plans fell through and, even though my best friend and cousin’s wife found their dresses there, hadn’t planned on going. I was a walk-in on a Tuesday so I had the shop to myself. They were so good and kind and Angele was absolutely delightful! She listened to my long list of things I’d like and found so many wonderful options for me all in my price range. She helped me feel at home and comfortable and truly beautiful in every dress. When she went to find a dress she thought I might like, she considered my style and found one I did, unlike other places I had visited. I did not feel any pressure or stress and I wish dress shopping was always this easy. Even if I hadn’t found my dream dress, I would give the experience, shop, dresses, and especially the employees 5 stars. But I did find my dress! And to top it off, they sent ME a thank you note. Thank you Angele! 10/10 would recommend!!
I went there this last summer for my wedding dress. The best team there, every single one of the consultants and their seamstress were the NICEST. After some pretty bad experiences at other bridal shops, my self esteem was lifted and they made sure to help me find the perfect dress that made me feel amazing. I ended up buying the first one I tried on! I loved how positive my consultant, Q, was and how she made it a point to make me feel comfortable in my skin. The positivity that illuminates the store was the best thing. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone that is getting married! Their prices were affordable and they made sure to help me stay within my budget! Couldnt have been happier.
We are in love with this shop! We went to several other places in the same day. Disappointed we decided to drove 90 minutes to get to Fantasy Bridal. Fingers crossed. It was perfect! Temple ready, reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Most of the staff were darling girls, so happy to help. Only one lady was a little grumpy. But we didnt deal with her until the end. Definitely the best selection. Beautiful store. So much fun.
Sophia from Fantasy Bridal was a lifesaver! I had a really bad experience at another bridal store, and ended up stuck with a 2K dress that I didn’t like and couldn’t return. I was devastated that I needed to find another dress so close to my wedding date. I explained to Sophia everything that happened and she was an angel throughout the process. Most of their stuff starts on the pricier end of mid-range but theres a lot of variety and so many beautiful gowns! Helpful staff. I appreciated their covid protocols.

Fantasy Bridal was so easy to work with as a photographer planning a photo shoot - I cant imagine how amazing they would treat their actual customers coming in if they treated a photographer borrowing a dress as well as they did! Their associates were so easy and nice to work with and had amazing recommendations - you can tell how knowledgable they are because they answered questions I didnt even know I would have until addressing them immediately. I was very impressed with them and loved how easy and positive the experience was. Plus their selections are gorgeous and so unique! They allowed me to borrow a Sottero and Midgley black ball gown to complete my vision for a Wicked (broadway) themed wedding photo shoot and it was absolutely stunning, photos below! If I could give these girls 5,000 stars I would. I had an absolutely wonderful time shopping with my mom. Morgan, Q, Hailey, and Shelby were all so incredibly helpful and a joy to buy from. They were incredibly accommodating, really listened to my needs and wants, and were so easy to get along with. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THEIR DRESS HERE!!!!!I bought my dress here in March and loved the service that I got. It was amazing to work with my consultant. I came back to fantasy bridal becauseI had a terrible experience at the dry cleaners and needed a button on my dress fixed. I took it it to Fantasy Bridal and they fixed the dress in less then 10 mins. It was not their fault the dress needed fixed but they want all their brides to feel beautiful in the dress that they get. Not only did they fix the button but they fixed the hook and eye, tied off some loose threads, and made my dress perfect again. They calmed my fears and were so kind and gracious!**FYI- Do not take your wedding dress to Blanco Family Dry Cleaners in Orem Utah.

I purchased my wedding dress from here, this picture is taken after alterations were done. Would you believe I paid $600 for my dress? It was only a quarter of what I expected to pay and this was the first dress that they found when I walking in (with no appointment oops) I told them what I wanted the receptionist said I think I have what your looking for and then a minute later came back with the dress of my dreams! I also purchased a cathedral veil from them and still came very short of my expected expenses. I will recommend this shop to all the brides! Thank you for your help!

I could not post a more glowing review of Fantasy Bridal! If youre trying to decide what stores in the SL/Utah Valley to go to for dress shopping, hear me out!I have followed a lot of really cute/high end dress boutiques for the last 5 or 6 years, and I even almost accepted a job at one a couple of years back! I LOVE wedding dresses and even before I got engaged I started thinking about what stores I would go to to find my dress. I started talking to people and read reviews and I just felt uncomfortable with some of the others I was so sure Id go to. Once I found Fantasy Bridal and was able to see their selection of dresses online and read positive reviews, I set an appointment.LADIES. Set an appointment. Dont just show up. The whole point of dress shopping is to have one person to work with you the entire time. Let them be prepared and ready for you when you arrive.I had a great experience trying on dresses and I purchased my dress that day, but the real positives for Fantasy Bridal came from everything they went above and beyond to do after buying the dress...!I had a slight time crunch when my alterations took about a week longer than anticipated, and Fantasy Bridal was able to get my dress steamed and detailed within 72 hours so I was ready for my formal pictures. Not only that, but before my seamstress was done with alterations, I needed to find buttons for the back of my dress ASAP - I went to Fantasy Bridal to see if they had any matching my dress that I could buy off of them, and they helped me search through 1,000s of buttons for at least 45 minutes to try to find matching ones for my dress. BUT THEN, when I took my dress back for it to be steamed and detailed, they switched out all of my mismatched (they looked fine, but not amazing) buttons for matching ones, at no cost.I was floored with the service I received and the care they showed me throughout the entire process! I have already recommended Fantasy Bridal to multiple family members getting married and I will continue to recommend them to every woman I know in search of a dress!15/10 would recommend! You cant go wrong.
We had the BEST experience here this July! Although I ended up purchasing a dress from another shop, I for sure thought I was going to get one that I fell in love with at Fantasy Bridal. Our consultant and the manager were absolutely wonderful and I 10/10 recommend coming here!! They have an enormous inventory with some absolutely stunning choices for all shapes, sizes, budgets, and styles. Seriously this place is the real deal and so worth your time. We felt comfortable and well taken care of for the entire duration of our appointment. The consultants were so friendly, honest, helpful, and respectful of my budget. I paid 430 for a dress top that was designed by the store itself.After being put in a layaway, when I picked it up it had dirty spots, as if its been used and it appears significantly worn out in some parts, parts are becoming undone on details such as flowers and lace.I was told I bought it just days after it had been out for sale and not many have had tried it on, I dont remember it been in these conditions.I feel devastated with what I was forced to keep. No solution was given to me.All sales are final, tags are removed not given to you which they categorized as normal which in my option is unacceptable.Please dont hesitate on checking the conditions in which you are buying what they sell you, nobody should feel like they regret the place of their choice they went to for such special occassion.
Nicole was very friendly over the phone and able to answer all my questions. Despite the fact I bought a gown in California and am not a customer of theirs, Nicole was able to provide information to help me get my gown altered. I very much appreciate the help. Her customer service and knowledge would make me recommend them.
I was very disappointed with the customer service that I received. I walked in to see if I could schedule an appointment for a later date or time and the person that greeted me was very rude and demeaning. She asked me what kind of dresses I was looking for and then she asked what my budget was and when I told her she laughed and said “you have an expensive taste.” I thought that she would then point me in the direction of the types of dresses that I was looking for but instead she just pointed me in the direction of all the dresses that were “non-modest,” she proceeded to ask what size I was and I wasn’t sure off the top of my head so she laughed and said “I’m sure you’re not a size 18”. She was so rude and disrespectful. I took my business elsewhere and I purchased my dress.

Beautiful selection! They have such a variety of budget friendly dresses. The girl who helped me, Jessalyn, was very friendly and made me feel good about myself. I tried on a dress that wasnt the style I was initially looking for and loved it! But Fantasy Bridal was the first shop I went to so I wanted to check out other stores to see what else was available. I went back only a couple hours later and bought that dress. I would suggest brides look here first.

By appointment only. The salesgirls are very helpful and will bring you dresses to try for as long as youre willing to try dresses. I didnt feel any pressure from them to buy immediately or at all. They work out payment options for you, and they also have a referral reward program. Even three years later, I referred a friend and received my gift.I was able to spend less than $600 on my separates dress, so there are definitely options for most budgets. The seamstresses are miracle workers. I choose a top that was a size 22 when I wear a 14. It was the only one and I loved it so much that I wanted to try it. They took it down so many sizes and made it look totally natural.

I went into this store today with my cousin to check out their wonderful dresses before she leaves Utah. I wanted her to be with me one of the times I go out to look for dresses, so I was super excited to go check out some. I am engaged but I am not getting married until 2023. I thought it would be okay to look at dresses, get an idea of what I like and create a budget based on what I found and liked. I looked online at first to see their selections but I personally wanted to see the dresses in real life. Now this part was my fault and I should have called first, but I did walk in without an appointment which I felt really bad about but I told them my intention was just to browse and not try any dresses on. They let me look around and I was greatful they let me since they were so busy. I was really impressed with their dresses and I wanted to try some on. So before I left I went up to the counter to see if it was okay to schedule an appointment to just try on some dresses another time, even though I wouldnt be buying one right away. One of the ladies had asked me Well first, are you getting married? I am not sure why but I felt very upset. Of course I am getting married, why would I even be there? She made me feel like I didnt belong there and that it wasnt okay try on some dresses unless I am buying one. I did ask some people and did some research to see if it was okay to go try on dresses even if you dont plan on buying one right away, and based on what people told me, they all said it should be fine. I can understand it being a waste of someones time but I am also wanting to prepare and know what I want so I can create a budget, save and be ready to buy the dress I want when its time. I want to see what style of dress best fits me too.I love their dresses so much but how they made me feel today was upsetting. I was really looking forward to having fun looking for dresses and start planning but now I am feeling like I cant even start planning my wedding until a year before it happens. I really do like this place and I am willing to try it again and hope for a better experience next time. I want to be able to have a fun time planning out my wedding.
Fantasy Bridal does such an amazing job! The dress try on experience is personal, the girls want you to enjoy yourself. Simultaneously they dont want to waste your time, so theyre 100% transparent about dress prices, they take you to the section of your budget and have you look and pull out dresses you like from there. Theyll also throw in a few wild cards if youre open to it! Super fun experience.The store was stocked with a wide variety of styles from familiar wedding brands and custom work. Their seamstresses are highly talented-- they sew unique pieces right there! In fact, the top of my dress was designed and sewn in house. It is 1 of a kind. Its lovely. I found my dress on the 2nd visit. It is so gorgeous. Ive been to several shops looking for my dress and this was by far my favorite. So glad I found the one here. :)

Had a wedding dress ruined by a trusted tailor at final fitting - three days before my wedding! Fantasy Bridal was suggested by a friend who bought her dress @ Fantasy Bridal; quickly was able to get an appt for about an hour later on Wednesday! Olivia helped me pick out a new dress in about 1.5 hours! Dress was about 4 sizes too big BUT Fantasy Bridal called their list of Tailors. AMAZING! Slight problem at their tailor BUT was also able to find another that charged an Emergency Fee but I didnt care! All in all, I think this dress was better than the original and picked it up at 8am the day of my wedding!The Staff at Fantasy Bridal was AMAZING! So easy to work with, they all calmed my nerves as I was frazzled! The owner came out and she was extremely friendly! I would not hesitate to send anyone to Fantasy Bridal!! (Ive seen other comments saying they are a little spendy BUT they are in line with most of the big box stores and I found them very reasonable! Service was above and beyond any other place I went!!
I had an amazing experience here! First place I went to and had no idea their selection was so large. Desiree helped me and she has a gift. When a dress wasn’t quite the one she could take my feedback and find a dress closer to what I was wanting. It was like she could read me and after just a few tries, we found MY dress. I also really appreciate that she was respectful of my price range. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I loved my experience here. My consultant was very helpful and I don’t feel like she rushed me at all. My appointment was at 11:00 on a Saturday and and I didn’t end up finding a dress until 1:00 pm which I loved and purchased from them. The vibe in the place is great. I went to a few places before fantasy bridal and I didn’t get a great feeling.
Sophia was my stylist and I absolutely LOVED working with her. She was very respectful of my budget and made sure I didnt try on anything that was too expensive. She was very good about asking me questions to help figure out what I did and didnt like about the dresses to narrow down my style. She answered all of my questions and was so good with how indecisive I was. I couldnt have ended up with the beautiful dress that I did without Sophia!
I absolutely loved Fantasy Bridal! They were so kind and the consultant really listened to what I wanted and my budget. I was worried about availability in my size but they had a ton of options in my low price range! I’m so glad I found my perfect dress!
This place was AMAZING!! Nichole was so sweet and patient! By the end of my appointment I get like she was another one of my friends. The entire staff was so friendly and there were so many choices. They were respectful to my budget and didn’t try and pressure me into spending more money.
I had gone to another dress shop before coming to fantasy. It was an okay experience but I felt so defeated leaving the first place because there were so many dresses but I just didn’t find one that I liked. We came to fantasy right after without an appointment and they squeezed me right in. Nichole helped me and made the experience so fun and laid back! She knew exactly what I was looking for and gave me dresses to try on based off that. I left with my dream dress and I can’t wait for my wedding. I love this place. I found my dream dress. My consultant was alitzah and she really listened to me and didnt rush. I would recommend fantasy bridal for all brides to go and look their dress are all beautiful and different you will find what you want here.
Such a great selection and excellent service! They were very respectful of the budget I had set and didn’t pressure me at all to get anything I didn’t want! I walked out with a more beautiful and unique dress than I even imagined! 10/10 would recommend this bridal shop!

I had such an amazing experience. This was the second place I went to and give dresses later I found the one. The one that I picked was one the girl who was helping me actually recommended. She knew exactly what kind of Look and style I was going for. I can’t wait to walk down the aisle and start a new life in my dream dress.🥰

My aunt and uncle met in california, she from mexico and him from UT. they fell in love and He spent all his money getting her here for them to wed. She flew into town on a sunday (6 days before the wedding was set for). with no time for alterations, and a low budget, fantasy bridal sold her a sample dress that fit her perfectly! only needed a hem!!! I went to fantasy bridal for my first wedding dress shopping experience. They placed me with a woman who had only been working there for a month and I was her first bride. I had decided I wanted a bell shape bottom mermaid / trumpet style dress. I was put into a beautiful lace dress that when the consultant laid out the bottom gave a beautiful bell shape with a train. I decided that was the one! They had ordered the dress 3 inches shorter than the one I tried on saying it will save me in alteration costs. When I went in for my first fitting and put on my dress it fell completely straight!!!!! Turns out the dress was a sheath and not a fit in flare style at all. I was in tears by the time I got home and called Fantasy Bridal to see if I could exchange the dress. The manager had no heart an refused with my crying on the phone to fix anything saying all sales were final. Please be extremely careful if you decide to go to Fantasy Bridal that you are actually getting a dress in the shape you want!!! I went to Marys Bridal instead and ended up with amazing consultants who were honest and found the dress of my dress for half the price of Fantasy Bridal!!! Marys Bridal also offers exchanges if you end up having a moment of weakness with no fees!!
Went here for my soon-to-be sister in law to find her dress. The girls working were so kind and really had a good eye. They worked so well with us and we were able to find the perfect dress! Overall, a great experience!
Amazingly kind and patient. We got Sophia who was excited and ready to pull out so many options. She focused on what the bride was saying and patiently reminded her that she needed to be comfortable. We had visited Mary’s bridal first and had a horrible experience so this was refreshing.

Wedding dress shopping is a huge deal. I went in nervous and unsure if Id find anything I liked, but Ashley helped me find the PERFECT dress for my big day. All the staff is friendly, kind, and professional. They have a huge selection of gorgeous dresses, and reasonable price ranges. Ashley was AMAZING, and the perfect consultant for me. She was sweet, understanding, and never seemed frustrated if I didnt like something. I tried several dresses, and the last one I tried was my dress. I knew the second I put it on. I am so excited for my wedding, and know Ill feel gorgeous in my perfect dress. I highly recommend this place, and Ashley. I cant imagine a more perfect dress shopping experience. It took away one of the more stressful moments of wedding planning and made it an exciting one.
Angela was my stylist, we drove from Idaho and this was the first store I decided to try out. I am plus sized and when I called they confirmed they had several plus sized dresses. Angela asked me if I had an idea of what I liked, I had printed some photos off and showed them to her. she glanced at them for a total of 5 seconds, and escorted me and my 2 family members to the back where we picked a few to try on she made no suggestions. In the dressing room I felt rushed. When she clamped the dresses that were too big they still were really loose so I couldnt get a full grasp of what they looked like. She talked about how they had the largest selection for Utah, but after about 5 dresses she told me that was basically all the styles they had. I had planned an hour and a half per recommended and spent a total of maybe 30 min in the store. I left feeling unwanted. I am very disappointed after all the reviews I read I was super excited for my first Bridal appointment, and hope tomorrows appointments go better at other stores. I wouldnt recommend Fantasy Bridal if you are larger than a 16.
Mimi was so fabulous!! She helped me pick out the perfect dress and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. It was a little overwhelming to shop for a wedding dress but she helped me feel calm and welcomed. I will reccomend this place to anyone who asks or needs help finding their perfect dress. I cant wait to get married and this company has helped make my plans easier and so much less stressful!
Angele was amazing! I am a younger, more hip bride, and Angele fit my vibe perfectly. She was fun, listened to all of my needs and wants and helped me pick out some beautiful picks in addition to the ones I selected online. She was super aware of my budget and not once did I feel pressured to spend more than I was comfortable with. I loved my entire experience and will recommend Fantasy to all of my friends.
