I had very positive experiences with customer service at this store in contrast with some of the other reviews. I recently noticed three charges on my bank account each for $19.** all posted on the same day. I thought that was strange so I called the store to check on those charges.I had caught them nearly 2 weeks after they had posted and had only a vague memory of my visit to the store, so my hopes of getting anywhere were pretty minimal. To my surprise all three employees I had contact with regarding the charges were kind, patient, and helpful. The owner Akosh corresponded with me three times to check the charges despite my lack of corroborating information, spending a significant chunk of time on my inquiry (which would have lowered his revenue had my concerns been confirmed). He was able to find the details of my transactions and confirm that everything was in order.I recognize it was a bit silly on my part, but all of the staff conducted themselves in an exemplary manner. From my perspective, Akosh went above and beyond to make sure I was not over-charged. I will continue to do business with this station. They display a genuine concern for customers.
Incompetent management/ownership.
It is sad that the owner Akosh would allow an employee to disrespect a customer not once but twice in the same week. This once was my favorite store to stop at multiple times a day, spending anywhere from $5.00 to $20.00 each time I was there. The thing I loved the most was the team of employees who I know on a first name basis. They are all kind, polite, helpful and just plain good people to be around. I would be proud to have these folks serve the public in any way. I never stop at the other store Akosh owns due to poor customer service and at times just plain rudeness. I work for the public and share approximately 5-10 customers a day with MY Marathon. This will no longer happen as well as I will not choose this store at all to frequent. I had an employee to cuss and disrespect me twice within days of each other. The new Deli Managers name is Mel and she does not need to work with the public in any manner. Both incidents were recorded on audio and surveillance. Mel was reported to the owner the first time it happened and I was assured I would be getting an apology the next time I saw her. The next evening, it happened. I have a chronic and progressive lung disease that will probably contribute to my end of life. I was accosted, harassed and threatened upon entering the store and another employee was present. I was shamed for having a disease, leaving my home and shopping. I was abandoned at the register and refused to be waited on. The other employee actually had to walk away from his regis ter and customers to help me. I felt threatened when Mel said, she wasnt scared of me and we could go right now. Wait, did an employee just offer to fight me? I have never been talked to like that by a customer service professional. I was accused of being the reason that she herself had 3 rare immune disorders not the fact that she comes in contact with thousands of hans and lots of dirty money.This was immediately reported to Liz the manager. Akosh the owner never even attempted to talk to me. He would rather have an abusive and violent person managing his deli. You sir, will lose a lot of customers because of this very unprofessional woman. Instead of her being terminated which would have been fitting she was promoted to manager. I hope the rest of the public doesnt have to ever see Mel in person or God forbid someones sick mother. I want the owners and management to be aware they lost me as a customer and with employees like this you will probably lose this amazing team you have running your store. Mel you have a horrible personality and with customer service such as yours the store will be lucky if they dont get held accountable or liable in a court of law. Akosh and Liz you should be ashamed you allow such a person to work for you. You made your decision and I have made my mind up a well. Bad always reaps what it sows and karma is faithful remember that Mel and what if someone talked to your mom or daughter the way you did me? I will tell everyone I know every chance I get about you Mel and your disrespect.

They do not print receipts at pump. Last 2 times Ive stopped there. No more!!
