Great friendly place to get your groceries and some good chicken and potato wedges and much more

The store always feels dark and dreary. The prices on hearty soups are easily $1 more than anywhere else. It is convenient to stop there on the way out of town if you have forgotten something at Krogers or Walmart... but still disappointing every time. Last time I was there, they had large and beautiful mum plants at a great price.

The workers were very helpful and their meats looked fresh.

Friendly and helpful employees. I can find a few items here I cant find anywhere else. A great hometown grocery store!

They have had the best ground chuck in Murray for forty something years I know. Not so much though now. Dont know what changed but the beef sure did!!!

LOVE this store!! It reminds me of an old Ma & Pop place. Some items are more pricey than if you ran to another big chain store, but its worth it for the quality.

After calling ahead in making the 30-minute drive there was none of the product on the shelf that I called and asked for so so disappointed and Matt the meat department and the management was horrible on the Sunday

Food giant is fantastic it has everything I need for cooking in a small and manageable shop. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and actually know where things are located! It might not have everything but it has everything you need!

Local, employee owned grocery store with deli. Home to the BEST fried chicken for the money. Affordable and delicious. This store also sells money orders and does MoneyGram. I have also gotten documents faxed from here for $1 a page which is cheaper then the local public library. My older brother worked here when I was in high school. Valued member of my hometown and local history. It used to be called Storeys but no matter the name, again... Best value for delicious fried chicken.

Upgraded inside renovations are nice. Fairly good selections on most items. Downside is that workers are not friendly, polite or helpful. Especially cashiers. Ok if you dont need any type of customer service.

I frequent here a few times a week. Large enough to have what you need but still small enough to feel personnel. Employees are always friendly and make you feel at home. They have the BEST fried chicken around and you can call ahead for large orders or get some to go @ lunch or dinner. You can also take advantage of the Pick 5 for $19.99!

In my opinion this is the best store in Murray. They have an amazing employee staff, their food is absolutely amazing. Theres always someone willing to help you to your car with your purchases. They will hold a conversation with you if that is what you like, or they can get you on your way quickly. Their inventory is medium, their prices are comparable to other stores and dont leave Murray without trying their barbecue!!!!

Service is on spot. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The deli is the best in town. Best chicken ever and dont get me started on the baked potato salad. Yummy. Prices are fair. Great meat selection.

The lady that took my call when I ordered chicken was really nice. She put down 12, I told her I might be a few minutes later. When I got there, about 12:02, they said they were pulling the pieces for my order. At about 12:18 they again told me they were pulling my chicken (I ask & several times & was told they were working on my order). I finally got my chicken at 12:23. We do like their chicken, most of the staff are really nice, however this is not the first or second time we have had to wait over 10 minutes for ordered food. In fact once before a group I work with ordered over 100 pieces & it was about 20 mins late.

I love Food Giant. Its got anything I need without going to a huge place. Friendly folks that work there and very helpful if you need them.

Love the smoke flavor of the rotisserie chicken they sell. Not to mention the fried chicken is great tasting too. Really good place to grab your groceries . Skip the Wal-Mart scene and shop in a low stress environment.

Main complaint, service can be slow. But in my opinion, the deli more than makes up for that. Offering cheap and quick meals that are priced very reasonably, Im a big fan of the deli. Groceries themselves are comparable to Dollar General, price wise, but carries a greater selection.

IIm not impressed with the prices or selection. They are much higher than other stores. There are very few choices for diabetics or health conscious people. The deli chicken is delicious, but the sides way too expensive. The meat looks great. However, the meat on sale usually has to be bought in bulk. Personally, I only shop there for sale items.

The chicken line was busy. You would except fresh chicken because of being so busy. Wrong!!! I got old and fresh for my 16 PC dark meat. Was disappointed. Usually it is great but not on Friday night 12-7-18.

Almost all of my grocery shopping is done at Food Giant. Everything is always clean,fresh, and easy to find. My one suggestion would be to have three or four chairs stragically placed so people with heart or shortness of breath problems would have a place to sit and rest for a few minutes before continuing with their shopping. I just got back from there and had my husband not been with me to finish shopping and check out, I would have never made it. Thank you very much for considering this request.
