This would have been a 5 star rating but theyve recently changed their chili recipe!! After 50 years???! I love you guys but this is a bogus move. The icecream, service, and unique atmosphere is still great but your chili now tastes like any basic canned junk I can get at the grocery store. Bring back the classic DQ chili dog!

I had to come here to order the ice cream because I read the article about this place . I was nearby for my camping trip. So I had to try it. Their service was good and quick. I didnt have to get out of the car. Well I did because I need to look at the menu. Thats all.

Curb side service is a nice addition, fair prices and great treats.

Best price in town, always friendly and has something for everybody, even my baby can eat a plain cone or drink the slushes which is a plus because she allergic to milk and eggs.

A hometown classic. Every visit must include a stop at dairy queen. Its not open year round, which makes it all the more special. Somehow, their blizzards are better than anywhere else Ive tried - thick with an even mix of ingredients. I order off menu - theyll still make the classic tropical blizzard for you if you ask. For covid, its a new system - they take and bring your order out to your car. The wait is long and the system could use some tweaking, but its worth it and a good local place to support.

Best DQ I have been to in a while

Called in order at 8:15. said it would be 30 minutes. showed up at 8:45 and let them know that i was out back. finally at 8:59 i called back and made sure i didnt misunderstand and was supposed to come to back door. she said she thought my order had already been delivered to me. i inquired to make sure it hadnt been sitting out and wasnt melted. she assured it wasnt. got home, the entire thing was thin as milk. soaked the entire brownie. no prob, called back and asked to get a replacement. was told, no. we have closed. this was at 9:12. ??? i know the kemps would not be happy if they knew their employees were performing like this and sending their products to customers completely melted.

Took 43 minutes to be waited on and when we finally were being waited on the girl had an unpleasant attitude. When our blizzards arrived they were more like soup. Worst DQ have ever been too.

There is a reason this place has long lines...it is amazing! One of the only places you can still get the old recipe. I really appreciate the efforts they have done for Covid-19 safety. Car hopping might just need to stay!

Good took a little long to get waited on possible shift change. The ice cream good as always. The long wait 10 to 15 minutes was a little much only 6 cars on lot. Three stars rather than 5.

There is almost always a lot of people waiting their turn. No one gets cranky. The people who work here are SO nice. And, of course, its Dairy Queen.

A charming long-staple of Murray. Its an ice cream only (hot dogs as well) classic DQ stand. They sell all of the DQ favourites. You can always come here on any given night during summer and see a line of eager people. There are a few picnic benches to eat at near the establishment. My only complaint is that waiting in line can sometimes put you uncomfortably near the road. But, other than that its a great place to get ice cream! Cant find any reason to have another ice cream shop in Murray with this here. Would be foolish to open one, especially if you were silly enough to put it, say... right across the street...?

This is an old school Dairy Queen - one of the last of a bygone era. Its a walk-up stand thats only open three seasons of the year. Great menu of frozen treats with several you wont find on the standard corporate DQ menu. The only cooked food options are hot dogs, standard size and foot long. The foot long chili cheese dog is a local favorite.

Always a excellent choice on a hot July day. Picnic tables under cover and in the shaded side yard for a good place to enjoy the treat. Favorite place in town, always busy.

Local hit from March 1st thru October 31st. Theres no ice cream like the Murray DQS ice cream! You order from outside through a window and has been the same since I was a kid. Blizzards are good but the Strawberry Sundae is my go to.

Its unlike any other Dairy Queen in America! They use their own 50 year old recipe for the ice cream. Its one of the best tasting ice creams Ive ever tasted (the strawberry Sundays are a personal favorite). Another big deal is the foot long chilli cheese dog. Dont get a 6inch. Cause these dogs are so good Ive seen 3 year olds eating a foot long in under 5 minutes.

I sat in my car with my lights on just like your sign said and was completely ignored. Do not put, “turn lights on for service”, on a sign if you are not going to train your employees to initiate service with people who are in their car with their lights on.

Environment is the coolest part of the place. It is one of the few (if not the only) Dairy Queen restaurants with the outdoor window, good ice cream, and decent service.There is not much option in the real food department besides hot dogs, though.

A very busy business and also customers can bring dogs out front at picnic tables and feed them ice Cream. It is adorable.

This little dairy queen is one of the best I have ever been too my only complaint is the seating arrangement I like that its outside. how ever the picnic tables are getting old and falling apart and they need to have more than one covered table to eat at
