I had the pleasure of .working with Randy at American Stone. I have never dealt w such a responsive sales person. He answered his phone, emailed me and sent photos. So many choices and he continued to send! When he knew I was overwhelmed he personally came to my house and measured and helped me w cost saving choices. WOW! I know unheard of in todays climate. He then managed to have the rock delivered the same day. His delivery driver was charming and really made sure everything was delivered perfectly. What a good day I had w this company! Im a fan for sure!

We love this place. I can pull up in my mini van and handpick the rocks I want for my small home project. Most places you have to buy by the pallet. If it is your first time, go in first for instructions on weighing your car. It’s super easy.

We purchased flagstone for our newly landscaped yard, but ordered a stone that just didn’t work. Our salesman, Mike H. Had us come in, changed the order to what we wanted, then loaded it in his private truck and hand-delivered it to us the next day, which happened to be Saturday! That is super customer service, and I highly recommend this company. They offer a huge selection and competitive prices.

I have used the Lehi store a lot over this past year, putting in a yard from scratch. Wade and everyone else there has been so helpful. Whether we were looking for just the right stones, loading stones or advising us on options we have been so well taken care of. My wife is the accountant for our son’s sand and gravel business. She has been trying to collect the remaining balance of a $1,171.44 statement from April of 2019 for four loads of rock they hauled with their own truck. American Stone has paid $465.94 of the bill but can’t seem to finish the process to pay the remaining $705.50. She calls every month and sends a statement. NO CALL has ever been returned. Perhaps they are so busy giving excellent service to their customers that there’s no time left in the day to pay their suppliers. If you as a customer could offer a little extra so they could pay us, it would be appreciated.Doug Smith, Utah Sand & Gravel

I walked in and two people looked at me...and then back down to what they were doing. I picked one, got her attention, and stated that I had never been to the store and was looking for small stone options for my plants. I was told to drive onto a scale to be weighed and the check options at the back of the lot. I drove onto a scale. There was no indication that my weight was taken or that I should get off the scale. I waited. I finally left to search the options. I found one that might work. I didn’t have a container. I returned to the front to once again state that I had never been to this store. I was told I had to pay for a bag to carry the stones. I get the bag and again walk to the back of the lot for the stone. No shovel. No scoop. I returned the bag and went to Home Depot. It would have been supremely helpful to have had some kind of communication from the woman at the front who seemed put off by my presence. I can’t buy your stone without a basic understanding of how this works or where things are.

I love American Stone! I started going there about 2 years ago when we were finally ready to redo our backyard. We only used the decorative ground cover type rocks, but everything they have is beautiful & high quality. They have huge slabs of sandstone/quartzite/flagstone for patio type work, big river rocks, lava rocks, tiny rainbow pebbles, pavers, stone water features, etc. etc. Seems like whomever owns the place really knows what they’re doing. I will use American Stone for life. Thank you for continuously creating a great experience for your customers.Went into American Stone last week for the first time this season. So sad to see that their prices went up drastically. I do my landscaping all by myself, so a trunk load of rocks in buckets is all I can carry at one time. Since I don’t purchase 1,000 lbs at a time, my checkout price was double what it was last year for the same amount. Really disappointing as I loved this place and had raved about it to family/friends/strangers. The price difference is drastic for us, and we can’t afford to continue to shop here.

A friend referred us here for our backyard project and were so glad they did! These guys were great. They were friendly, easy going, and ready to help. The prices were way better than we were expecting for the size of our project. We love the way the crushed gravel looks in our yard and loved all the help we got from American Stone. :)

My experience at American stone was a very good one. I did some research and found that for the rocks I needed, not only did they have best price, but the staff made it very easy to find the right amount of rocks and the correct size of rocks for the space I needed to cover. The delivery was on time and organized and the stones look really good. I am definitely going to be using them again for my next landscaping project.

Eddie Munoz was an excellent sales person. He got us setup with the proper support to complete the project. We went with flag stone w jelly bean pebbles in between. It turned out great. I highly recommend getting the delivery service. It really saves the hassle. They were excellent when returning some extra supplies.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted and asked how we could be helped and directed to the product we were needing. Excellent customer service! We also purchased 3 tons of rock in the process went very smoothly. In and out in no time.

Wow . . . incredible service, great products (rocks). I am in the midst of some major landscaping that I am doing myself at my house. On the latest order they made a mistake. Before I knew it they came to my house and fixed the error. I could hardly believe it. Truly amazing service--above and beyond what most companies offer these days. That was a LOT of work. I carefully picked out some river rock stones for an art project and brought them to the cashier for weighing. “Now the rocks in this bag are 6 cents a pound,” I told him, “but these Montana river rocks in this other bag are at a premium at 10 cents a pound.” The cashier looked at me like he wanted to say, “Get outta here wit’ your 26 cents worth of merch,” and carried out my bag o’ rocks to the car. Thanks for the samples dude!

Great service. Went in for a quote, bought my rock, had it delivered. They said theyd call when they were on their way and actually did (kind of sad this is surprising for companies). They called when they finished. Called afterwards to make sure it was all good. Super friendly the entire time no matter who I dealt with.

I had a wonderful experience with American Stone in Salt Lake. Heather took care of me on the sales end; I ordered several tons of a custom blend of crushed stone of my own design. Justin delivered it in the time frame specified and dropped in my driveway perfectly.We couldnt be happier with the way it looks, and I dont see any reason to go anywhere else for our landscaping needs.

These guys are awesome. Toby (the boss man ) is great, easy-going and nice to do business with. Everyone else there seems to be the same way as well. Very happy with the service and the flagstone which we were able to hand pick.

Had a great experience at American Stone. Prices were competitive. The sales staff was very helpful and the delivery was on time. They made a mistake on our invoice, charging us more money than they were supposed to, they caught it and refunded our money before before we realized there was a problem and called to let us know.

Exceptional. We have young children, and our small garden had ceased to be functional with water drainage problems and insufficient space for the kids to run around. We had a rough idea of what we needed, but we didnt know how to get there. American Stone understood and recommended us the best solution with in our budget without compromising on quality. I would highly recommend American Stone for landscaping purposes.

Be prepared to wait for your delivery. I was supposed to have it Monday morning 9 am. Nothing showed up and by 2:30 I hadnt heard anything from them. I had to call them and they said the had a backlog from Friday and were having truck issues. So it would be delayed until Tuesday. Then on Tuesday, when they delivered it product was missing. So I had to wait another day for that. I was really needing this to get a project finished and it messed up my schedule. All they said was sorry even though I was paying a delivery fee and the delivery service sucked. Dont rely on them for your delivery. Rent a truck from home Depot and do it yourself. And Dont expect them to call you because they wont, even if they say they will.

This place rocks!! (pun intended) Janet and Toby (owners) are fantastic! I went to 3 other places before going here, and nobody knows their stuff like these guys! Cleanest yard, nicest selection, and up to date with the most styley stone!
