I ordered windows for my whole home in March of 2021. The salesman told me they would be in no later than June. I never heard from them, so I started calling weekly. No one could tell me where my windows were or when they would be in. After calling weekly for 3 months the windows finally came in (no one from the company called to inform me of this, they just happened to notice it on my weekly call). The soonest they could install was a month away. I took the date and had to take off work for the install. The day before at 3:00 they call my husband to inform him they were not coming due to job continuation. By this time I am very very frustrated because it has now taken 6 months to get the windows. The customer service agent then tells me that I will have to wait another 2 weeks to get them installed. I proceed to tell her that this situation is not right for my install to have to go to the end of the line for their mistake of not finishing a job. She tries to make me feel better by telling me “well you’re not the only one who got their appointment canceled”, which only frustrated me more. I have been MORE than patient with this company. I am now awaiting my appointment 2 weeks away and will have to take another day off work.Updated to add: They cancelled on me again for job continuation and could get me in a week and a half later. I have asked to speak with the manager for a week now and can’t get them on the phone or a return call.

Terrible company with terrible customer service. We ordered and paid for our windows and a front door in June and were told 6 weeks. Here we are 4 months later, NO WINDOWS OR DOOR! They have not bothered to call us, not even once, to update us. So now we have started calling them weekly and most of the time no one answers the phone. If they do answer, they just tell us they don’t know when they’ll be in due to “covid delays”. That’s a lie. They just took on too many jobs and now can’t get them all done in time. We found out recently AFTER WE KEPT CALLING THEM that our door was in. Yay!!! Oh but no, they don’t have anyone available to come install it. Today we were told that the earliest will be 4 weeks from now. Our salesman was all nice back in June and eager to make that sale, and he seemed to be a decent person. But he also will not return our calls or texts. Surprise surprise.Asked to cancel and get a refund and they said they can’t do that. I would not be as upset if they at least had the decency to call us and apologize for the delays. But nope, they just ignore you and give you the run around. WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND WINDOW WORLD!

This company is terrible.. I got gutters and siding installed, took over 5 months to get material, then the manager comes to my door 5 months later to tell me the siding I already paid for didnt come in that color, ordered a different color took another 2 months, guy installed the siding had to re do it but only because I complained to the manager about the terrible work. There is no communication with this company. Now here we are 4 years later all gutters are leaking and I have had 3 people come out through this company to fix them but there apparently there to write the work order just this warranty repair has taken over 4 months and still isnt fixed they were supposed to come out today.. and yet another excuse by them.. do not waste your time or money on this company every part of it is garbage!!!

Ordered windows in April. Said would be installed by July. Called last day of August. I guess I was a little irate. Frustrating it was not done or even had been contacted. I probably said things I regret. But they canceled my contact. Sending my money back. Hope they add the 220$ interest I had to pay.

Unloaded fast but tight to get in.

I purchased a picture window for living room in late July 2020. Paid for half of price. I have not got my window yet!! They scheduled on Dec 6 then re-scheduled for Dec 22 it was raining, windy and cold. They came out but their hands were freezing. So they re-scheduled for MAR.1, 2021 DID NOT SHOW OR CALL. This was not Muscle Shoals it was Huntsville Ala.

This has been a very disappointing experience, bad enough that I felt obligated to write a review. We ordered our windows on May 22 and asked at that time if the crew putting in the windows would wear mask while inside our home only due to me being pregnant and having covid concerns, I was told this wouldn’t be a problem. We were given a tentative estimation for installation on July 5. After two weeks of no word from Window World, I called them and was told our windows were still being made. This continued for another 3 weeks, with me calling and checking on the status weekly. Normally I it wouldn’t have been such a push on my end, but I was due to have the baby at the end of August. We were finally scheduled a date only to have it rescheduled, then on the morning of the date rescheduled, after preparing our house for them to be put in, I was called and asked if I minded if the crew didn’t wear mask because of the heat, I told them no I would prefer if they did. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice and was the middle man between myself and the installation crew, he called them then called me back and said they refused to wear mask.. now because of sinus issues 🙄 I told them I wasn’t going to except this and we would have to reschedule. On the next rescheduled Ddate I was told I had to be rescheduled for the third time because the crew had a job continuation. I am currently rescheduled for next week, I will believe it when the windows are actually installed. This has been the biggest run around. We ordered these windows 4 months ago!

Never answered or return my call

I had 9 Windows installed, six large windows. David and his crew did discover a problem when starting the install. He spoke with me about my choices, explained the options and let me choose which route to take. Once decided, he started right a away and in about 4.5 hours the job was completed. That included repairing two sills and installing never rot boards, putting the trim back and caulking. He even caulked the interior trim piece that had to be removed to install the Windows (my choice of solution). The crew worked the entire time they were at my home, answered my questions and went over the window operations again after install. David was extremely courteous and the rep Todd was delightful to work with. Ive worked with a lot of crews over the years and Ive not ever had a team that worked as hard, as these guys. My windows are great: easy to open, the sound damping is amazing and I look forward to a reduction in my utility bill. I can already tell the difference in the air leak. Amazing group of folks. I would highly recommend this team.

The install team was on time, and got right to business. My window installations was a full blown productions with every worker knowing exactly what they were tasked to do. Having them work was entertaining.They knew exactly what they needed to accomplished, took a break for lunch, (washed up after themselves btw) and was busy back to work after their lunch time.Their lead guy was pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure my security window sensors on my old windows were found and keep in a safe place during the new installations.They cleaned up and and was on thier way. It was like they were never there. GREAT TEAM!!!!

8 years ago I had my windows replaced in my home. 3 years later I had a broken window and they came and replaced the window just like they promised. I recently had them come and quote vinyl for my house as well. They were pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have always been very professional and have cleaned up very neatly after themselves when the job is done. I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received. I would recommend 10 out of 10 times. Would give them a 6 star rating if I could!!

Windows look great, except for my living room windows. That have put us off for almost a month now. Already have 9k of money, and refuse to get it done in a timely fashion. Again, a month of waiting for this is ridiculous. They even miss measured the first time. And the windows have been sitting for 3 weeks do not recommend this place.Update: had to call Huntsville and corporate. Huntsville came and installed next day and corporate got things done. Supposedly a compensation is coming. Will update when .It comes. Would recommend Huntsville but muscle shoals branch not so much.Last update: windows are installed and look great. but not 4 months of waiting great. Sure they offered us a small compensation, but that also took a month of calling to get that fixed too. Corporate just called today to see if the windows were good someone else had already called weeks ago about that. She ended the conversation by asking if we were going to change and update this rating. I was at first but then the issue with not doing the front windows, waiting to send the compensation, and flat out asking us to change this still. Ill leave this as a 2/5 because legitimately the windows are great, we love them. But customer service with both Huntsville and the shoals have been utterly terrible. Corporate is nice but they literally do nothing but send emails and hope the smaller branches abide by it. Would I use them again? Maybe, I went by the good reviews on here. Im sure a lot of people have had better experiences. Next time maybe Lowes or another big box store? probably wouldnt be any better. If you have the skills and can follow instructions on youtube it may be better to install yourself. So here is my updated review Window World, probably not the one you want but here it is.

Overall, it was a great experience dealing with Window World, Muscle Shoals. The salesman was informative and professional and the installers did a terrific job with installation, trim and caulking (inside and out). They cleaned up their mess outside and inside except for stuff that would require a vacuum cleaner. I also had to clean the windows of any sticker glue and fingerprints but Im assuming thats par for the course. Only two complaints. (1) In one room, I had a picture window with two side windows (3 total). The salesman persuaded (not forced) me get a sliding window instead of the three separate windows which saves, if I remember about $500. The sliding window looks like three separate windows but the two side windows slide over the picture window if you want to open them. He also told me the old window blinds would not fit the new window and I was ok with that. What I didnt know was there are really no places to securely install blind braces except on the outermost corner of each side. One screw per brace is about all the room available for the innermost brace and the picture window braces. Another option would be to install the blinds above the windows instead of inside the windows which is an option Im not really fond of. (2) I also wasnt aware that the removal of the old window would leave a couple of 1+ inch square holes on the window sill were the frame used to exist for the old window (on both sides of the picture window dividing the side windows). The installers filled this with caulk and it looks fairly ok but there wasnt much else they could do other than fill it with wood putty and come back after it dried for sanding and paint.Overall, Im pleased and would recommend WW. However, if I had to do it over again, Id ditch the sliding window and cough up the extra $500 for three regular windows.

I love my windows! My electric bill has literally been cut in half since my new windows were installed! Customer service team is amazing!

I have had windows installed in 2 houses and have been mostly satisfied. Have my first warranty claim for a broken window and after a month they were coming to replace it today. They are 1 hour late and no contact has been made. I left them a message 10 minutes ago and still havent received a callback. I took off work this afternoon and looks like I got stood up.

I am very HAPPY to write this review. I have ENJOYED my windows from Window World from the first day they were installed. I have nothing bad to say and could not even make up something. Best improvement to our home. Thank you Window World.jose Barrera

I had got the Windows put in my house 1 1/2 years ago and they look just as Great as the day they put them in and they work great too Im sorry I forgot the names of the husband and his wife that did the work they were very nice and professional about there work and I thank them very much . They have rescheduled our appt to install twice and thats already having to wait 2 weeks longer than the original install date. If you need windows order 3 to 4 months in advance of the date needed.

Customer oriented every step of the way!

Window World of NW Alabama put new windows and doors in my little house and it has been transformed! There were a few hiccups but the team at WW worked swiftly to address any question or concern I shared! Thanks to management, customer service, and both teams of installers! I couldnt be happier with the whole process!
