I purchased a hybrid in March, on impulse and only find that it was generating the dreaded code POA080 Code that the battery was failing.This does not always show up on the dashboard and I had to plug in my code reader to see it. While my stomach was twisting up in knots, I started to look for research on the internet to see what I was potentially dealing with. I found Guys site and read and realized that he was appealing to someone in exactly the situation I was in.I called him and by chance he was going to be in my area that day. He checked out the car and confirmed my suspicions. He sent me a quote and we agreed that he would recycle the existing battery in the car. He was back within a day or two to pick up the battery and take it back to his shop. He put it on his machine and recharged each cell. We ran into a couple of snags which involved him having to come back a couple different times. This was an over 300 mile round trip for him. Ultimately, success was at hand and I now have my car. Ive been driving it like crazy and the damn gas needle wont move!!In all honesty, I was at Guys mercy and he knew that. He never once tried to exploit the situation and was extremely fair and honest in his business with me. I ended up paying potentially 1/3rd of what I wouldve paid a dealer had I gone that route. They wouldnt have known what to do and Iwould have paid for every step of them getting the experience. The only place in Michigan where the dealers have any hybrid experience is in Ann Arbor, because there exists a critical mass of hybrid vehicles. Youre still going to pay for all of the overhead though whereas Guys service is very mobile and efficient. He saved me in this situation and I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future!

Price for fixing a battery superior from Hybrid Battery Solutions when they are focused 100% on repairing batteries compared to a dealership doing all repairs on vehicles and repairing batteries is only a small percentage if any of their business.
