♿ We rented a double axle trailer, to pull behind my 2016 Ford Explorer, for 2 days. We made the reservation online, a few days earlier, for the trailer and an appliance dolly.We were running 15 minutes behind and tried to call the store to make sure they didnt give our stuff to someone else. Unfortunately, all numbers are routed to their national number and its impossible to get ahold of the individual stores directly. 🤨I cant hold that against the store, its just the U-Haul corporate policy. Youd think... Since I had a reservation already, that I could open the U-Haul app and had the option to contact the store directly. But no... 🙄When we arrived at the store, there were only 2 people working. Both were busy, but it only took about 5 minutes until we were helped. We were 15 minutes late, so that was our fault.When checking the details of the order, they saw that it included the appliance dolly and they had just rented out the last one. Seriously? They explained that their list of reservations doesnt show details like the dolly, unless they open up the details. Seriously U-Haul? 🙄 We felt this was a corporate issue too, but if its a known problem, they should probably get in the habit of opening each reservation...We explained that without the dolly, we wouldnt be able to rent the trailer. One of the employees went to the back to see if they had one somewhere. He came back about 3 minutes later and found an extra dolly in there back shop. Perhaps it was one that they use in-house, that they dont rent out to people? Whatever the case, we appreciated the extra effort to ensure we could rent the trailer that day.Even though it only took a couple of minutes for him to find a spare dolly, he decided to discount us the price of the dolly for our reservation. We felt that was very generous and made up for the fact that they werent aware we needed one. Honestly, if we had showed up on time, they wouldnt have rented ours out to anyone else,in the first place.Once we checked out and headed out to the parking lot, the employee verified that our vehicle already had the correct connector for their trailer, as well as an adequate hitch and ball size. Then he guided us right up to the trailer hitch, hooked everything up and explained the whole process, in the event that we needed to do it ourselves.As we left the driveway, we were pleasantly surprised how well our Ford Explorer pulled the trailer. The double axle trailer is equipped with brakes, so stopping wasnt an issue at all. The 2nd axle also provides more stability and less chance of trailer sway.We highly recommend the double axle trailer, if your vehicle is able to pull it. The price difference is only a few dollars. Its well worth the cost, for all that extra stability. 😎

Never try to get a truck there! I went online and reserved a pick up truck for the following day drove all the acroee the state 2and a 1/2 hours . Went inside and was told they didnt have a truck it was sent out for tires no notice to me no text no call nothing!!! Never do business with a place like that !!!!
Went in to rent car dolly. Was told even though I had a reservation and the website said the truck pulling the car combo would work fine that her computer at the desk said my truck/car combo would NOT work and refused to rent a car dolly to me. Never ever going back. You guys have lost a lot of business from me and my friends. We own a car business and we’re always towing cars. But never using the U-Haul on Apple Ave. again!

Set an appointment for hitch install 3 days in advance. Took time off work and drove over to so it. When I showed up they didnt have the equipment or staff working. The young lady at the counter made no effort to fix their mistake. Place is a mess.
