We switched from another LTE internet provider to SparkServices LTE internet. SparkServices internet service started out really good. Good download (30-70 Mbps) and upload speeds and seemingly unlimited data. However in July ‘21, my internet was seemingly disconnected. When I contacted SparkServices, I was told the unlimited plan I had purchased was no longer offered by AT&T. So to keep my bill the same I was forced to downgrade to a 12 down and 12 up plan. This plan worked for a short period of time, and then in early August we were suddenly limited to 3 Mbps download speed. SparkServices customer service reps said that it was due to AT&T putting customers on a maintenance plan while they performed maintenance on their towers/network. Week after week they indicated it will be back to normal soon. After two months of AT&T “maintenance “ and throttled download speeds (3mbps), I got fed up and purchased an unlimited blue (AT&T) plan from NoLimitData. I pulled the SparkServices SIM card out and put in the NoLimitdata sim card and my download speed increased from 3 mbps to 40-80 Mbps speed. So in the end, it seems “AT&T maintenance” was not the true cause of my slow speeds as NoLimitdata uses the same AT&T towers and network. In the end I wouldn’t recommend SparkServices LTE internet.
Let me start by suggesting that those people that have half a brain look at how many 4-5 star reviews Spark Services has that are written by people with only 1 or 2 reviews. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to do the math. Getting friends and family, etc., to put up fake reviews to cushion the fact that this company is a rip-off. They are unprofessional and shady ( I will go into that more in a minute) and if you look at their responses to unsatisfied customers you will also see their true colors there. Professional companies that are responsible for their actions and those of their employees (as it should be) are forthright about it and dont try to make excuses or belittle their customers, as Spark Services does. Dont believe me? Check their responses to negative reviews.My wife and I were with them for 2 months as the company wouldnt make things right with our unlimited plan. We were never offered a new SIM to replace the one we had that was throttled. We have been on LTE internet for 4yrs now and have never had the problems we had with Spark. Our previous isp went out of business. But when our card that we were paying unlimited for was throttled, they sent us a new card, simple.The SIM card that we had from Spark Services was getting SMS Messages rom ATT to our Modem (RUT240) stating that the SIM card had $8,000+ in unbilled usage (yes, I said 8 thousand +). When I approached Spark (Joann the manager) they asked where I was getting this information. When I told them it was directly from ATT to our SIM/Modem she said dont worry about it, we pay ATT for the SIM. Well obviously you ARENT paying them if there is $8k unbilled usage.When I told Joann that we would be reporting them to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) she said (and I have it in an email) go ahead, they wont do anything about it.There was a lot more that went wrong in a short time with this company. The bottom line is that the customer is ALWAYS wrong if they arent happy with Sparks poor handling of their business.They are condescending, and rude.I could write a lot more, but wont waste anymore of my valuable time with this poor excuse of a company.One more thing. If you make/made the mistake of signing with these bozos and decide to leave them. MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK THEM FROM YOUR BANK! They charged us the next month after sending a confirmation email to us that our account was closed. Yet they still billed us, and we were whiteout that $100.00 they stole until they put it back!We have moved to NoLimitData btw and our speeds are awesome, and though we did have a problem with our first SIM being throttled, NoLimitData got another one out to us ASAP and we were up and running again WITH unthrottled, unlimited speeds and has been working fine since then. They are professional and will NOT bite back if/when you have an issue with their service. They will take responsibility for it, and fix it. As a good company should!Thanks NoLimitData!
About 12 hours after installing the SIM card in my router the service stopped working. After numerous phone calls and several days passed they decided the problem was my router. I switched to ATT service and they gave me a new SIM card which I put in my router. It works fine. It cost me $136 to order this service and cancel it early. I called them back but they wouldnt talk to me.
Went in to get a cover replaced on my iPhone. Quick, respectful help.In addition, my laptop & I both need a tune up!This is where I will do my business.

I contacted Spark Services about internet at my home in South Central Kansas an was put in touch with Eric, one of their sales people. This guy is in a Florida office and not at the Muskogee, Oklahoma office like I thought he was (I called Muskogee). Seemed like a nice enough guy, answered my questions, told me I was in the AT&T area, told me the equipment should work where I live. Told me the equipment would ship out immediately and I might have it by the end of the week. I am a Verizon customer in a Verizon area and have my doubts about Spark working here. The nearest AT&T tower is 12 miles away.After about a week I noticed I had not received any notifications of shipment. No notifications from Spark and no notifications from UPS or FedEx. I called the Muskogee office and was put back in touch with Eric and was told that the items had not shipped. I immediately told him to cancel the order and refund my credit card since he had not been honest with me. He got a little angry that I called him dishonest and had the gall to tell me I would have to pay a $50.00 service fee. I told him that wasnt going to happen and a complaint to the credit card company would take care of that. He also failed to mention that the monthly price went to $109.00 the first of May. $99.00 was pretty steep for what they offer.A few minutes later a very nice lady called me from the home office in Muskogee and told me a full refund would be issued, she also told me that part of my ordered equipment currently was not immediately available. She was very helpful. I asked here if this was the first time this had happened with Eric and told told me this has happened before and it would be addressed. The office lady gets 5 STARS, but Eric you get none. Had Eric been nearby he might have won a prize and gotten a free punch in the nose. I cant stand lying salesmen.My advice, if you want to do business with Spark talk only to the office in Muskogee. They were truthful and helpful to me. I may yet become a subscriber later if 5G doesnt arrive soon in my area.

So, I cannot express yall how great this company is. We live in the Nashville area and, ever since the bombing on Christmas Day, all services (At&t and others) have been difficult. We had a different service that was unresponsive (at best) and Spark has been there must helpful, amazing team.They have gone aboveand beyond to help us every time we have had issues, that I cannot express my thankfulness at their hard work and empathy in trying to get us up and running. Joanne, Mike, and the rest of the team are great. They know what theyre talking about, they are responsive, and they are also just really nice people. I suggest Spark 100%.
As per the cosmic rule that what can go wrong will go wrong, our brand new internet service from Sparks Services died within the first 2 hours of use. Upon submission of a service ticket we were contacted and the problem solved within 24 hours. The service technician was competent, polite and efficient in his handling of our ticket. We are very pleased with the internet service Sparks Services supplies us, as well as their customer service in handling any hiccups we encounter. If rural internet is a concern for you, we strongly recommend you explore Sparks Services. They are far superior to any internet service we have had in our rural Texas location.

I just recently made the switch to Sparks Services and it was a huge upgrade from my previous ISP. Its so hard to get quality internet where I live (not far outside my city). One of my co-workers mentioned Spark Services to me so I decided to check it out. After doing a little research, it took less than 5 minutes to order and get my invoice. The router showed up 3 days later and I am beyond impressed with the speeds I am now getting. No more laggy online games or being booted out of party chat! The signal is strong and solid and my family is happy that they can now enjoy gaming/streaming without the hassle.
Had one of the best experience with a tech in a long time. Was having difficulty with my computer and couldnt figure out the issue. Had a tech, Bryar I believe help with the issue. The guy was nice and knew what he was doing and was able to resolve the problem fairly fast. He was able to remote in and fix it right away. The wife had got viruses from browsing the web so thankfully nothing to serious but very thankful to have people like him doing business like he does. 10/10 would recommend spark services.
Great internet company! Very easy to order and received modem in a few days with easy installation and I couldn’t be more pleased with the internet speeds especially since I live out in the country surrounded by trees! Definitely would recommend to anyone!
Their equipment only work good for a day. Had almost two weeks never could get it to work, tried giving them time to fix the issue. I had 70% strength and couldnt get over 300 kbps. Tried swapping from one fixed wireless internet to Sparks Services to save lil money by leasing their equipment. Went back to old provider. They couldnt even give me explantation why it wouldnt work, how can ya sell something you dont even know how to troubleshoot to fix......

I called Spark Services about a month ago on a Saturday, wanting to talk to sales. They were not open, so I didnt leave a message and planned to call them back on Monday. About an hour letter I got a call from one of their sales people - he said he saw my missed call! Can you believe it?A couple of weeks ago I called and talked to one of their sales people, who was very helpful and responsive. I ordered their service. Every time I have called I get a live person answering. Ive called support maybe four times with some set-up questions, and Im talking to a live support person in about one minute. Refreshing.Their internet service is great and simple. Plug it in, wait a few minutes, you are up and running. One minor issue is that the router they provide does include Wi-Fi, but it has a relatively weak Wi-Fi signal. Mike in their tech support acknowledged this and said if you need a better Wi-Fi signal the best way to accomplish this is to put a separate router into the Ethernet port of their router and use the separate routers Wi-Fi. I bought a Motorola AC2600 Extended Range router and that fixed the problem.I get a good AT&T signal where I am located, and their router is delivering speeds of about 70 mbps down and 22 mbps up, which is fantastic.I would highly recommend Spark Services.

High Speed Internet - it just works.I ordered the modem and service last week, but then I forgot to pay for it. So, this week I contacted them via chat and was able to upgrade my shipping to next day.5 minutes after I opened the box when it arrived the next day, I was online browsing, video conferencing, and watching streaming TV.Im glad I found SPARK and got their service.

Best internet Ive seen in my area that doesnt require a lot of money to set up.
I was having issues with my graphics card. I mostly use my computer for gaming and nothing business wise. I got assisted by one their techs named Bryar who remote logged in (which is super important to me do to COVID worries) to my PC and fixed the issue within minutes. Turned out to be just a bad driver. I was treated like a long time customer even though this was my first time using their services. 10/10 would recommend.
We brought my GA78LMTUSB3R2 to these guys because it was drooping frames on WOW. They text me every day with updates and tips on how to keep it fast. They had it tuned up and back to me within a week 10/10

We just got our modem today it is so so simple you literally just plug it in and thats it. We get great service but also got the antenna for a lot of people we do play call of duty I.E cold war, warzone, black out, call of duty 4 and it all WORKS! We live in the middle of no where GPS cant even pull up our address but yet we get high speeds and can play online FPS! Goodbye Viasat!! I would recommend to anyone!! P.S. loved the candy that they shipped to us with it my kids enjoyed it!!!

WoW! Downstate rural Illinois family here and so happy to stumble across this company for internet service! The only con of country living WAS no reliable internet. The major companies didnt offer it and the satellite companies chuckled and informed us we would have to build our own tower. The hotspots on our phones work ok but disconnect often and data caps in the middle of a pandemic are the worst! After ordering from Spark, the device came fast and packaged with care. We plugged in the device and were instantly and easily connected to the internet. It has been about 3 weeks now and we have had nothing but great internet connection. We are a family of 4 and can all be on different devices at the same time with no problems and our smart devices also work great!! I have had alot of trouble with other rural internet companies and I just happened to run into spark. I have only had it for 2 weeks but so far so good. They were really helpful for the beginning and even reached out to me a few days ago to make sure everything was going ok and the way I expected it to. Another company I was working with wouldnt even give me their phone number. I had to yell at them through email. Spark has exceeded my expectations so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
The entire group at Spark Services is amazing to work with! Even being located in Nebraska and only working with them remotely, they were truly amazing to work with. We worked with them on transitioning to a 3CX phone system and they helped us setup the new system as well as port our numbers, which no one else had been willing or able to do, yet Spark was able to. They also provided amazing managed services and backup to allow me to focus on day to day IT tasks. I would highly recommend them!
After looking the planet over for broadband providers and trying a couple, I found Spark. So glad I did. When I need help it’s just like working with a good friend or family member.I live in a rural area. Cell towers are within reach but I found I was going to need the remote antenna to boost my home signal. Spark was on it and now my entire home is smart again. Good service, fair priceI took my iMac in for a “tuneup” since it seems to have slowed down some and I was getting some weird error messages. It’s a 2012 model so has reached that age when apple stops supporting, but it is still in good shape. I’m not a power user so I don’t want to shell out the dough for new, hence the trip to Spark.They did the necessary review and cleaning, all for $50. As I said, a fair price!
I found these guys for lte broadband internet. I had another company like them and my service got shut down and their was no communication through email or phone. Im getting fast internet speed here in South East in the rural area at 40mps. Thank you

Update: no call back but did get a chat, sent the SIM IME several hours ago. Instructions didnt include a need for emailing or instructions for how to get the number. Chat rep was helpful once I was able to get in touch.1. Website used to say no throttling. Seems not to be the case now 10/19/20.2. Service was slower but more consistent than satellite when I first got it. I was told I wasnt being throttled but prioritized 3mb downloads..... But hey still better than my only other option.3. Get a new sim card, replace it, now cant use it it. Speeds so slow cant even run a speed test. Cant get ahold of anyone on the phone or chat, just a message left with the answering service.4. Left two stars because it was fine but now over a week and not even being able to get in touch with anyone about the issue is frustrating.... Especially after the price just went up.Im making assumptions that Im being throttled now since no throttling is no longer posted on the website, but cant speak to anyone to know for sure

I live outside of the city limits and internet is hard to get unless you get satellite internet (which cost a bundle and has very low data caps). I did A LOT of research for internet that was geared toward the rural community. I wanted great internet with unlimited usage with no throttling or data caps. I found MANY services that claimed unlimited but found out in the fine print (which not many read) that there was a soft data cap and if you went over it, you were cut off. I could not find any service that fit my needs perfectly. In my research, I came across Sparks Services and read through their website. What caught my eye was that they were up front about the data caps. They said that they were truly unlimited in that they permitted a fairly high data cap (3.2 TB). When I read that, I knew that Sparks Services was the company that I needed to work with. I ordered my router and SIM card to start my service that very day. When I received my router it was really easy to set up and I was surfing the web in no time. There was a small glitch with the service in the beginning. There was some problem with ATT and the routers that they were using and it caused very slow speeds. However, A letter was sent out immediately from the owner of Spark Services explaining the situation. They helped me immediately with a router swap out and new SIM card. I was back up and running in no time and I have been surfing the internet ever since without any problems. The speed is fine and there is no buffering when I stream my TV shows and movies. I am very happy so far. The person that helped me the most was Joann. She was wonderful! When I contacted Sparks via the chat feature on their website, she answered every question I had (which were many) and she helped out with getting my router swapped out quickly. Spark Services is an all around great rural internet service provider and I would recommend it to anyone that is in need of good internet services in rural areas. A+ in each category: Great quality, Good value, professional and responsive with great Customer Service. I will also add very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. One other thing that convinced me that this was a great company was the fact that they send a bag of Skittles in your box... which happens to be my FAVORITE candy!!

As I sit here without internet I need to warn other customers. The unlimited service they offer is by no means unlimited. While raising the price they have limited the the data to 200 gb a month. Im currently waiting on a new sim card they tell me will give me unlimited internet, however, Im not holding my breath. They refuse to allow me more internet until the sim card arrives. That leaves me with no way to work from home or for my daughter to go to school. They can not be trusted in my opinion. There are many other options out there. Do yourself a favor and check them out.Im revising this review 4 days after my last review. I was told that my internet cycle was the 18th to the 18th. Thus, i would have service back on the 18th. I do not as of the 19th. I can not reach anyone at the company. They put me in a 20 minute que. When i reach the front of the que they transfer me to the answering service. The service is telling me that they have a huge list of customers calling in and they will get back to me at some vague point in the future. Worst service company i have dealt with. I didnt think twice about going with a small company when i started with them. I will in the future.You said it is not true in your response can you tell me what you are referring to in my post that is not true? My computer was repaired my Spark and I was highly impress with the results and their services. A good business starts at the top and I met the owner Mr. Allen and his work ethics and professionalism filters down throughout his staff. If you have a computer problem take it to Spark Services you wont regret it.

Got their internet about 2 weeks ago and it has been great. 4 kids home from school, streaming, laptops, gaming and we can’t slow this thing down. Night and day difference from my Dsl. Spark Services has been great in answering any questions I have.

I spent the better part of 2 days shopping and researching 4GLTE internet services before I decided on Spark Services. There are many dozens of them. As it turns out, I chose well. My modem arrived with the SIM card installed and ready to plug & play. All I did was set it on the mantle and plug it in and we instantly had super-fast internet service that blows away the pathetic satellite service we had before. I worked fine as-is, with a signal of 7-8 MBPS, but when I added an inexpensive antenna it went up to 35-40 with absolute reliability. I am a picky shopper who asked dozens of questions, and Joann patiently answered all of them. I couldnt be happier with the product and the service and highly recommend Spark Services.

I have gone through other internet setups out here in the country with high costs. Nothing like Cable back when I lived in the city.Originally, I used HughesNet at about $120/mo, but their high speed cap quit after a week. Then, I tried Viasat, but got the same results.Switching to a Rural-4g looked great, but the carrier dropped Verizon feed and switching to AT&T without telling us or sending out a new sim card.I then jumped to TP-Link, using my Verizon Hot Spot, but that too capped out, even with Verizons unlimited (Hot Spot was not included).Pro: So, I found SPARK, another Rural-4g company, and have been happy with their service, with no contract, able to purchase the hardware, then much lower monthly costs.Con: SPARK is connected to AT&T, but the signal is coming from 85 miles away and am getting from 0.5 to 3.5 m/s. The ping is usually below 100, but rarely gets above 300. I am able to watch on line videos and TV at 720 resolution, but when it is slow, I have to go down to 480.It would be nice if SPARK had extensions to put on the antennas that I could wire to outside. I could not get my HP M477 nor my Epson WF-7720 to print, even though both the computer and printers said they were connected. So, I had to connect with Ethernet cables to the printer.I will probably try to move the SPARK closer to the outside window, but then will have to run longer Ethernet cables to the printers.

Im from Missouri, so I was worried about buying something from a company that wasnt local because I thought it would be difficult to work with them if there were any problems. However, the customer service here is bar-none the best Ive ever had from a company over the phone! Mike was great with getting our family what we needed in this tumultuous time, and he answered all my questions. We then needed an outdoor antenna to boost our signal because we are in a valley, and Joann did all she could to make it happen for us as quickly as possible. Because it would have taken Spark several days to get the antenna in before they could even send it to us, Joann stayed on the phone with me to ensure that I got the EXACT parts I needed from Amazon! THAT is great customer service right there! I dont know of anyone else that would have done that --- thats putting the customers needs first, for sure! I would HIGHLY recommend Spark Services for internet, computers, or anything else wifi- or technology-related you need! Check them out!

We are in a rural area with absolutely NO internet options. I am extremely pleased with the internet itself. I had an issue logging into the router and they have an easy to use online problem ticketing system that was resolved immediately.

I am using SPARK for my home internet because I dont have a hard line option. It is working for me. My wife and I are happy with the product. So far Ive only had one questions and it was meet with a quick and cheerful answer.
Suffered through a decade of unbearable Centurylink service before finding out about SPARK. Router was delivered in 2 days, plugged it in, it started right up and I was surfing literally within minutes at speeds 6x faster than I was receiving previously.Called customer service to disable the WiFi on their router so I could use my own Netgear Nighthawk and got a real person immediately who was able to resolve the issue remotely in a matter of minutes.
Finally able to move off of satellite service! Were super-rural, and I would have been happy with a consistent 5Mbps download speed, but we stay above that, typically around 8-9Mbps. During the first week, we updated our gaming consoles and streamed a lot - still no slow-down. Love it!!
Its a great plan for rural areas that dont have much choices I would choose this over satellite any day!! Its fast even with 1 bar of signal. The only thing I have found is that when u on ps4 the NAT is type 3. Havnt been able to change it yet
