They worked with me on my credit, met my numbers, and made it easy. Something weird happened with it, Rose sent a tow truck immediately and fixed it right up. They keep their word, and have your back. I recommend southern auto mart. Thanks Rose!

I brought a car from them at the end of March. Within two weeks the car broke down multiple times and then the transmission have finally gone. Because of the lemon law I was supposed to get money back but Southern Auto Mart would not give me my money back. They would not even give me anything else to drive. They left me without a job and without a vehicle. I think its unfair and unjust that they took my deposit and left me stranded on the side of the road. I personally would not buy anything from them because they do not care about their customers.

My experience was good. I read a lot of comments about vehicle problems but just be aware that It’s a risk buying a vehicle that is 10-15 years old so anything can happen at anytime but that doesn’t mean it’s always the dealers fault. I recommend You do research and know what to look for before purchasing a used car. I bought a truck today and the process was easy and painless and I wasn’t required to wear a mask which is a huge plus for me. I was in and out quickly and Rose took good care of me. I do not recommend this place at all I have been called dumb because I had to fix something they said wasn’t messed up. I have been dealing with them for 6 years and I am so over them I am looking else where and I recommend you do the same Rose is the most disrespectful person there is!

I bought a red 2010 dodge grand caravan from them they were holding firm on there price even tho I pointed out the car had bad wheel bearings. I asked if the car had any overheating issues they said no. I got the wheel bearings changed, changed my brake pads and thought I was good for now 2 weeks later the water pump went out costing me over $350 the radiator was leaking so I had to change the radiator, the heater assembly line was bad and was leaking, after about a month the car keep on going into kill mode after about 5 minutes of driving it, got it checked out the car had a bad transmission. DO NOT BUY THERE CARS THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE!!!

Dont trust these people! Website says 7 day warranty on all vehicles but when I got there I was told not if I was paying cash only if I was financing. So I test drove a vehicle that they said was a good running vehicle that was priced at $1500 and had a blown transmission. Vehicle wouldnt go over 35 mph. They told me not to take it on a main road and wouldnt even give us a dealer tag so they made sure we couldnt take it on a road that we could go over 35. They are scamming people left and right.

We live in NC and have bad credit after going to several different dealers with no luck. They worked with us to make it work. I was able to get approved before driving down. They were very nice and I love my car! Thank you so much guys! We appreciate you so much.

Southern auto mart is not a good place to get a car. My best friend bought a car from there and when she drove it home it wouldnt cut back on, so we called they came and got it the next day and so called fixed it. After that the car started cutting up and they told her to bring it back so they could look at it and they told her it was her axle and wheel. They have had her car for two months, she just got it back today and had a wreck like a few minutes after coming from the place her brakes didnt work and she flipped in her car. They selling lemons and then dont want to fix it. DONT SHOP AT SOUTHERN AUTO MART too many problems.

Great customer service and great deals at the Myrtle Beach location. I want edit my post because they were happy to sell me the vehicle that wasnt even have all the operational parts. I work out of town and they want me to leave it with them to fix and I tell them I have no other transportation. The comment was well it cant get fixed if you dont leave it. It took months to get the parts in and they sent them back because I didnt come fast enough. While mind you I purchased the vehicle in July and was not called until September that the parts were in to get fixed. My check engine light has been coming on off and on since I purchased. All other mechanics are saying its the exhaust and catalytic converter. Their mechanic says oh you gas cap wasnt tight enough. I would never recommend anyone to purchase from them. My money will be spent elsewhere from now on. Lesson learned.

I bought a Chrysler Town and Country from here. The engine and transmission completely went out within a month and a half. Total Loss. Buyer Beware!!!

The manager Rose is the worst person I have ever talk to in my life. First off Chris and Rose lied when I brought the car and said that my parts and labor will be cover under my 24 month/24,000 mile warranty and after I would have to pay for just parts. Turns out its not true. I still have to pay for my parts I havent even had the car for a Year. I have brought this car back and forth four times and never had to pay for a part. Recently they came to my job picked up my car to get fixed which I appreciated.They called me and said I needed to pay for the parts $200.00.They then called again and said that the parts payment was two days past due. I have NEVER been late on a car payment but now Rose is stating she should have charged me more. she also hung up on me. Every time I call Rose has a nasty attitude she is very unprofessional. How could the owner allow her to talk to his customers in the most unprofessional way. I asked is there anyone else I could speak to and she always says I defend the person I work for. she screams on the phone when you ask her a question. I wish I would have never brought a car from this place.If I didnt have to put a star at all I wouldnt.IN RESPONSE TO OWNERI want to be clear that I put gas in my car before it was taken to the shop.I STILL HAVE MY RECEIPT. I appreciate the guys that came and picked up the car they were every nice.I truly dont understand what gas has to do with your employees being rude. Lies Lies ! I Called A week in advance before purchasing a car was told a good price however when I got there the guy never got the okay to give me that price and I had to pay more. They didn’t check the car so they didn’t know that the door was broken on it. I called about my title considering the fact that I paid the car out they had a attitude I called to speak back to manger rose n she was rude too yep this and yep that. Get you a car from somewhere it’s so many more respectable car dealerships.

I have to brag on this car lot, give Rose and her team for the great experience we had! My family and I was in the Mrytle beach area on vacation for our kids fall break, when our van broke down and become more of an issue then we needed, a family of 6 being stuck for 2 days at a resort wasnt fun when it was suppose to been vacation! We had run out of options, absolutely no car rentals available thanks to Hurricane Flo that come only a few weeks before we arrived, the garages around there was booked up and wasnt available to get to our vehicle until the following Monday, we had less then 24hours until check out with our resort and absolutely no way of getting home, the last resort we had was to purchase a used vehicle, we needed another one anyways due to expecting another child and needed an upgrade! As I was looking online for used vehicles Southern Auto Mart showed up, seeing a lot of great reviews, I was still skeptical because we was 8 hours from home and knew no one! But being an emergency my husband and I contacted them immediately (it was Friday and they closed within a few hours) after a short drive in an expensive taxi later, we arrived and was showed a 2007 Hyundai Entourage, very pretty blue color.. that they had waiting on us!!! Rose and Sheyann was the most amazing helping and caring women I have met in awhile! After the test drive and telling her that they was an issue with the breaks, she immediately fixed the problem, she had her mechanic to look at it and see it needed breaks, Rose had him go purchase new breaks and install them, Rose was very caring to hearing our story and why we needed another vehicle, she not only told us but showed me she was going to make sure my family and I got back to our home state (TN) safely.. that indeed she did! Rose was the best and I cant thank her enough for the caring attitude she had and the honesty she and her team gave to us! I would recommend this car lot, Rose and her team to anyone within the state or thats traveling! Thank you Rose for the new to me vehicle and for making sure my family and I got back home safe!

Bought a car from here its was good car but then i got behind then lost.my job they came picked up car and didnt even knock on my door so reported car stolen thats not all I was not even warned about the car bout to be taken so I sir or madam owner what can u do to help me out my family and I have no way around

They know me as Robin, but I purchased a car there, thinking everything was good. A week later the storm came and everyone had to evacuate, they disabled my car the day the storm was expected to hit. Now, since I was out of work for a week because of water damage to my job, our checks came late and its a mess. I was told they couldnt help me, and to borrow until my check comes. NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND YOU TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM.

Brought a vehicle here and they knew the ball joints where messed up. And the fan dont work. And they told me when I bought this car. It didnt have a warranty. And I understand that its buy here pay here. But they lied all the way around. They are unprofessional. I would strongly suggest not getting anything here. They will sell you a good sells pitch. And dont live up to want they tell you. Want ever buy anything else from here. All there cars are junkie as hell

I have NEVER and I do mean NEVER missed a car payment. Yet when my car started acting funny I had to take it to them numerous times for SAME issue. Numerous times!!!!!! The first time they gave me a car off the lot to drive while mines was supposedly getting fixed. The belt on that popped and I had to get that fixed before going back to pick of my vehicle. After the second time I went back again, they told me car was fixed 3 days later same issues. 3rd time I went back they did give me gas for traveling a hr and a half back and forth which I appreciate. My car had to go back again for the same issue AGAIN which they lied and said was fixed on the first couple of times I went there. I asked could I get a car to drive while they worked on mine because it would be 3 hours, and their reply was we dont loan out our vehicles which is somewhat understandable BUT if my vehicle was fixed the first time like they claimed I would not have had to even be here. I am beyond frustrated with them. I will never buy here again!!!!!!!

Ever since I’ve brought my car from Southern Auto Mart in August.. I’ve had problems with my vehicle countless times. They’re always “booked up” with appointments .. and it takes forever for your parts to get there. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying a car from here unless you have knowledge about vehicles. Underneath my hood is atrocious.. wires hanging everywhere, it just looks rigged up! They will harass you about making payments on time but can’t fix your car in a timely fashion. I’m sooo over it

Came out to test drive a car. The lady and some guy named Chris refused to show me the car because she said if I purchase a car from them and she sees someone else driving it, she is going to take the car. After debating with this clueless woman about full coverage insurance policies, she finally conceded that as long as they are listed on my policy, legally she cant control who drives the car. Has she never heard of a parent purchasing a car for his/her kid? If she is the owner, kudos to her for deciding thats the type business she wants to run. If she isnt, then she should be fired for negatively effecting the company brand. Im going to buy a car, but it wont be from her. This has to be the most unprofessional place to buy a car.

I had a rough patch and had to give up my car, they let me come back and purchase another one. If our vehicle messes up the will fix it for you.

So not even 6months later my transmission goes in my car that I still have to make payments on unless this is fixed Im seeking an attorney. Every dealer I told about this car said thats a bad car loan and NOT to mention the car was in 3accidents that they lied to me about. I asked Rose prior to down payment has this car been in any accident she said no. I realize that its all about money with you guys. Well now Im going to get my money back. I went for a family vacation for a couple days now Im stuck in another state due to the transmission. Everything this car needed I didnt come to you except for the radio and the tire when I first bought it. The car is still under warranty and I still never bother you guys I paid 427.00 dollar just to get my breaks and rotors put on ohhhhhhh let me not tell you about them used black breaks that could have ended my life smh. I told you about this car early on you remember I ask you why does it seem like the car is stalling you said its not now look at it 5 & 1/2 months later DONE you said yall dont sell lemons honey this was a lemon and you choose not to do anything about it so now I have to take further higher steps. The money thats supposed to go to you is going to my attorney. I cant believe yall treated me this way when payment been on time and I made sure. It is what it is. I have no car now. I trusted you guys to be the last place I buy from and build my credit now look.

Absolutely the worst dealership to purchase from ever. Rose is the worst, most rude, unhelpful person you will ever speak to. They are unwilling to assit in any degree and they couldnt seem less interested in ensuring that they have satisfied customers. Make sure you avoid this lot like the plague. The cars are all junk and theyll say and act however they need to get you to sign, then its nothing but a headache dealing with them from there out. Do not purchase from these crooks. I am a paying customer and they told me they would fix my issue when they got around to it and hung up! In no way shape or form is that acceptable, especially when the customer is upset about a mistake they made! I would leave zero stars if it were possible.

This was an awesome car lot, I dealt with Will off of 501 and he found me the 2012 f150 I wanted and we got within my price range. They are great people and I will be buying my next vehicle there.

Do not buy from this place. Manager Rose will tell you what you want to hear to get you to purchase and send you away with a piece of junk and then tell you youre on your own to repair it. Prices are much much higher than book value

Worst car lot to buy from !!!!! my son has a wife and 3 kids and desperately needed a good reliable car this has been by far the worst experience ever ! the car is in the shop more then its on the road leaving the family stranded on the side of the road and for work more then several times in the few shorts months they have had it the moter even went and they still wont let them pick a different car without loosing the money they put down they have also asked for paper work to prove that they are in fact working on it and told them they dont have any !!! Sounds shady to me and yes they make there payment while having nothing to drive I believe at this point its a death trap and they are in danger !!! Please do not buy a car from this place yes the people are nice but the cars are junk and they take advantage of young people with babies that dont know any better I wish they had a nostar option for this review and please stay away from this place !!!! We cant even get to talk to the owner to see if they will help them get out of this without loosing the thousands of dollars they put down .

Only gave a one because there wasnt an option for a ZERO. I will be going on every outlet I can about the FRAUDULENT car lot! They shut your vehicle off driving down the road then claim that it is impossible.... yet the officer driving behind me whom had to stop because my car stopped set on Hey 17 with me.while calling to get the car switched back on. LAWSUIT times FIVE per the officer being there were also four toddlers in the vehicle. We all couldve been killed.

The only buy here pay here that I know of that gives you a 36 month warranty on your car when you buy one from them.

My daughter got a car less than 2 weeks ago already having problems tried to take it back the next day the response we get is you not getting any money back if I would have known that I would have never inquired her to go there now its broke down beside the road the tire have wire sticking out now something has to be done.
