This place is awesome. The selection is truly amazing. They have things I’ve been looking for for a long time. They really have something for any price range. Friendly staff. Great service. I’d come here again in a heartbeat.

The tinder box is a staple for great smokes, the shop owner treats you like you are a good friend, he has recommended a few great house cigars that are very nice. Im normally a montey Cristo white fan and he has shown me a few other options that are not as expensive but just as good. Highly recommend this location.

One of the weirdest cigar purchasing experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve purchased cigars all across the US and abroad. I’ve never had an employee walk in the humidor and just sit and watch. They usually make conversation and ask what do you normally smoke. Or at least offer suggestions. This lady just literally sat in the humidor. I contemplated not purchasing but then I thought maybe if I walk out the female employee may have actually thought I was attempting to steal. So then she still wins with her bias or perception. I purchased 3 cigars and actually wanted to buy more. This location has a lounge for smoking. My normal experience has been I’m asked will I be smoking on premise or leaving. She offered to cut them for me. I’m not sure if this behavior is normal or is it because of my ethnicity or because of some other bias. However, I would highly recommend not visiting this location. I just didn’t want to drive to Nicks Lounge up in North Myrtle tonight. That’s where I normally go when I visit this area. Going forward that’s where I will continue to go because I feel my business is valued and appreciated. This may be a one off experience but it’s my perception at the moment. I work and spend time in Charlotte several times per month for work and family. I see on the cigar bag that you also have locations there as well. Duly noted to not visit those locations. I normally stay or work near South Charlotte and Arboretum. I will continue to spend my money with Cigars Etc. and Dunkin Echevaria there. Now this may have not been the employees or owners intention but it’s my perception as a buyer. It may just be a training issue. Non the less I won’t be returning.

Prices were decent. They have TAA cigars. A plus in my book. They also had Chapter 2 LFD and Opus. The selection was amazing. I just wish Id stopped here first

We were walking through the park when I noticed a Montecristo patio umbrella followed by the scent of a good cigar. Much to my surprise I was actually looking for the Tinder Box and here it was.The shop has an extensive selection of great cigar brands within the extremely large humidor, they also have just about anything you would need in terms of accessories. Of course the best feature of this great shop is the staff and customer service.I had the pleasure of visiting with Roger while I was there shopping, he was a great guy to talk to and get some feedback. I also noticed during the time I spent there that this is a community in itself and everyone takes care of each other, very impressive.They do have a small lounge within the shop as well as some outdoor seating, a great environment to sit back and smoke a stick to two. I enjoyed this shop so much I came back later in the evening after a show to pick up a few more sticks and smoke one outside while enjoying conversation of a fellow cigar aficionado.Cheers!

Great place!!! nice walk in humidor. the layout is great so if you have never been there but you have a cigar you know you want to buy it seems super easy to find on your own but my favorite thing is the service. the employees know just what to say and how to help would highly recommend !!!

The wife and I were on vacation from Davenport, Iowa. We visited the Tinder Box on 10-16-2018. The owner greeted me with thank you for your service sir, I was wearing my USMC Vietnam Veterans hat. The selection there is great, the pricing good. What I really liked was they had some brands that my local store doesnt have. I found the Alec Bradley Magic Toast, nobodys got that yet. The people there were friendly and helpful. The lady stocking the humidor explained everything about the Toast the blending the build, I am smoking it right now. I will definitely visit this great cigar store again.

I am pretty sure that this is the best cigar shop on the South Strand. My out-of-town guest dragged me around to a bunch of cigar shops looking for what he wanted. He found it here. Interestingly, the owners were on hand and very pleasant people to spend a smoke with.

Very nice place with nice people I go out of my way when Im working in the Myrtle Beach area to visit them. They have a very nice cigar selection, if you are used to buying cigars out of state you will be pleasantly surprised as South Carolina tax is the lowest in the United States making cigars very reasonable.Its well worth the visit if youre in the Myrtle Beach area and you are a cigar connoisseur aficionado like myself

My husband visits here every time we come to Myrtle Beach. He has to get his cigar so that he can go to the beach and relax while he enjoys a groovy blue. Love the smell of that cigar.

Excellent Cigar shop! At first, I thought because of the location (BATB) that prices would be higher than normal. I was wrong, prices are on par with any brick and mortar, or better. They did not have the cigar I wanted, but the excellent salesmen (wish I had gotten his name) helped me find a VERY delicious replacement, which is now one of my go-to smokes (CAO Session). I will definitely make this a tradition to shop here as I vacation Myrtle beach each summer. I cannot wait until next August!!! A++ selection, and service. Thank you!

Wonderful selection, and I make it a point to stop here when Im in town. The staff (a husband and wife, Id remember their names but cant) were very helpful in recommending cigars. They carry quite an impressive array of brands, so finding something to smoke wasnt difficult. The walk-in humidor was well-stocked and they carried a few hard-to-find brands that I cant find where I live. They even offered to ship at no/low cost.

The service was great and I was super happy with my purchase, until I checked my bank account and realized that I was charged $25, when the receipt I signed at the store said $16. They didn’t give me a copy either, go figure. Glad the “free pack of matches” ended up costing me $9. What a waste for mediocre cigars.

I am an ex-military service member and I have patronized this store for over two years and I have been treated very well by all of the employees. I know that one employee has a family member in a branch of the military.

I went there to buy a cigar, the first day I went there I got excellent help and I can’t remember the guys name. But he helped me find a cigar that was right for me. Then I told I was going to come back so I can think about it and so I come back on Black Friday to buy the cigar the one guy told me about and for some reason the that was working there on Black Friday decided to be pushy and try to get me to buy a whole different cigar. That I didn’t I want to buy, but I eventually bought a cigar and it was the one I wanted and but the guy was pushy and kinda rude.

Wow over priced, and their lounge is not welcoming. If you go in their to have a smoke they will make you feel uncomfortable if your not one of their crew. One last note dont work for them or they will try and stop you from going to any other cigar store around and threaten to fire you if you dare. Terrible business practices.
