Greg Whinnie and his team are True Professionals. After ruining my HP Spectre x360 Laptop Keyboard with a water event, True Blue Computers came to my rescue and had a new Backlit Keyboard Palmrest assembly ordered, installed and running like new within 48Hours.

In mid-October my Dell laptop began giving me a white screen when turning it on. I took the computer to True Blue and within an hour it was diagnosed as a faulty screen and they also warned me that the hard drive was failing. Within a few hours they had the screen replaced, a new 1 TB SSD hard drive installed and all of my data transferred. I couldnt be happier - the computer is much faster, even compared to when it was brand new, and the battery life is even better. Excellent customer service, value and quality! Ill definitely use True Blue for my future computer needs.

I brought my pc that I had just bought from a friend into their business looking for diagnostics ran to figure out the problem. I had an entire team of people aka friends and family who are very knowledgeable about PCs and certain issues a pc can have that couldn’t figure out the problem. Well I brought it in and the owner was extremely respectful and patient. He listened very intently about the certain problems that the pc was having so he can relay the correct messages to his technicians and went as far as to give me a couple reasons why my pc wasn’t working correctly. They were extremely fast at finding the problem and even went far and beyond and installed new gel to my cpu just to make sure it was the cause of the problem. The only thing that wasn’t ideal about true blue is that I had called at around 3:50pm the day I brought it in to see if they were keeping it Overnight and they said it hadn’t been looked at and probably wouldn’t be until the following Monday. But I had received a call from the technician Michael telling me the exact problem aswell as how much it would cost. But he did say it wouldn’t be finished until the following Monday so the operator might have not gotten the report of the issue so it wasn’t that big of a deal. These group of guys are the most professional and knowledgeable computer techs I have ever dealt with. Aswell as this is a privately owned business operating during a global pandemic so they are the perfect candidates to do business with. Greg, Michael and the owner of the establishment thank all of you for fixing my computer and being patient with me. I will definitely be back if I have another issue with my computer.

I use my personal laptop for business and made the mistake of not backing it up and one day it just wouldnt turn on and I completely panicked. I called these guys and they were so friendly and fast! I brought it to them by 5pm and they had it fixed by 11am the next day! They were so friendly and quick I wouldnt go anywhere else but here with tech issues!

I brought my HP Laptop to these guys because I could not access the internet wirelessly. The owner couldnt figure out the problem (on a Saturday), and kept it till Monday for one of his Techs to look at it.It needed the OS reloaded they said, but even worse the battery pillowed and needed to be replaced. I agreed to pay $100.00 for the repair.They tried to sell me a Win 10 reload for $129.00. Ive done it a few times myself on various computers and I declined the offer.I backed up files and pics on a zip drive, no problems. I made the mistake of calling them to see if I could back up my favorites in Chrome (Duh-Googling it I found it can be done in a few clicks). The Tech (Paul) got mad I called to ask and said; Were Here To Sell - Not To Teach He was mad and rude because I reloaded Win 10 on my own and had the nerve to ask a simple question. He abruptly hung up on me. When I told the owner he defended such behavior and actually accused me of trying to tie up his Techs valuable time. He became rude and I will NEVER, EVER go back there and I cannot recommend this computer repair store.

After my computer stopped working I decided to call around to try to find someone to look at it. I called half a dozen shops and businesses until I finally called true blue. Chris Wooley answered the phone and actually took his time in explaining the little details, it made me feel good so I chose to take my business to them. I go in, drop my computer off, and he looks at it, determines the graphics card needs replaced, does the installation and gives it back to me. It was a seamless experience. We were down on vacation and our computer hard drive crashed. We needed to complete a payroll submission on line and other business entries so we needed access to our computer and files. Regrettably my back up disc was not with me and this only added to the issues. Our entire experience was excellent . The computer was diagnosed the same day all options were explored and fully explained and it was fixed and returned the next day. How could you ask for more.

I can not say enough good things about this location! I had been having MacBook issues for two months and had been going to locations such as Best Buy and City Mac and they could not help me, and they told me it was going to be hundreds of dollars to fix if they could do anything at all. But then I found True Blue Computers! After paying the small deposit and 15 minutes later, my keyboard connection was fixed and I could use my computer again. Greg and Chris were very helpful in helping fix my laptop. When I took it to them I didnt know if it was a minor problem or if the laptop would have to be scrapped. Instead Greg guessed at the probable issue and suggested I leave it with them to do a diagnostic review. He called the next morning indicating they had fixed the problem, and it was minor, He also said they were going to check it out for any additional problems. When I picked it up, he told me there were no additional issues, and I only owed them a small amount over the original cost of the diagnostic review. Very knowledgeable, professional and reasonable. I have a family member in Myrtle Beach that often needs my help resolving computer issues. I live in Colorado and there are simply some things that cannot be done remotely. I bought a hard drive for him, but he was uncomfortable installing it himself. He had called around, and people were wanting tho charge him well over $100 to physically install a hard drive (which takes 5 minutes). I found True Blue based on the reviews. They charged MUCH less than $100 and did not try to sell him unnecessary services. The quote they gave was exactly what they charged for the services provided. When he tried to load the OS, he had an issue that I believed was due to a resolution issue on his monitor but I couldnt help him prove it. He brought it back to the shop, and they plugged it into one of their monitors to diagnose the issue (for free). I cannot thank them enough for their great prices and service, as my family member is on a limited income and has had a very rough year financially.I have an IT/Technical background and I have seen many companies that take advantage of customers (including the Geek Squad). It is so refreshing to have found a company that I can trust to send people to. Thank you True Blue!

Was able to diagnose what was wrong with my PC, unfortunately it was the motherboard. They were able to save my data for me. Thought about buying a rebuilt PC from them, but the cost of a rebuilt and a new was the same. So just bought a new PC.

These guys keep our store operating in top peak performance. We just had them come by our store last week to cleanup our systems as part of our operational maintenance. Prices outrageous. Called about replacing a laptop screen. They quoted 200.00. I looked up the part it costs 36.00. It literally was 12 screws and a plug. took me 10 minutes to change it.They were going to charge 164.00 in labor that took 10 minutes.I hear they do good work but you better be ready to pay

On 1/14/19 Johnthan came to my home and transferred everything from an old desktop to a new all-in-one, also suggested we replace our old router which was 9 years old,he showed us a router on his phone and wife went to Office Depot and purchased it and Johnthan installed it with no problem.Everything is running faster then any computer we have ever had.Tech spent 2 hours at our home,price was very reasonable.Very satisfied with True Blue and Johnthan,will use them again when and if needed.

My PC was teribly slow and full of stuff we didnt need. True Blue cleaned it all up and now it is running like new. I still have no idea how they do it but it works.

I took my iphone 7 in for a screen replacement while I was in Myrtle Beach for a day. The screen they used was a cheap replacement. The color is dull compared to two other iPhone 7 we have. There’s also a discolored area in the lower right corner about the size of nickel. I called and spoke with Chris and he said I’d have to drive 3 1/2 hours back down or mail it in. Neither of those are realistic options for me. I can somewhat understand that but I don’t understand the cheap products they use at a premium price of $158 to replace the screen. I’ve had numerous screens replaced over the years, we have four kids from 17-21 years old. Very disappointed with this company.

I never leave reviews and feel bad leaving this one. Only doing so in hopes of acknowledgement from the owner and I will happily remove it. I stopped in two weeks ago will my work laptop that wouldnt charge. I mentioned I believed it was either a bad charger or a bad charging jack. My first question to the gentleman behind the counter was if he had another charger we could test it with. He examined my laptop and charger for 5 seconds and said it was the jack (inside the computer) that was bad because it was a loose fit and wobbly. He estimated the repair to be at least $120. I asked again if he was sure it wasnt just the charger itself and if we could plug it in with a different charger just to make sure. He assured me there was no point and that it was definitely the charging jack inside. I thanked him and left. To be honest Im fairly hands on and couldnt believe the part and labor for that job could cost $120. I was right. $9 part on Amazon. And took me 30 min to open the case and switch it out. Id like to believe that maybe he thought it would be more complicated and costly but lets be honest, Ive never opened up a laptop once in my life and they do this everyday (and probably could have done in 10 min what took me 30.)Well, it still didnt work. Thought to myself, maybe I just should have let them do it. This is my work computer and I couldnt get access to my QuickBooks or Payroll without it so I was definitely frustrated. Just when I was ready to give up, I happened to be in Walmart and grabbed a Universal charger for $19, took it home, plugged it in and Hallelujah! It worked! Since I still had the screws out of the laptop I decided to quickly swap out the new charging jack I had replaced earlier with the old one and just as I had expected, it worked just fine as well. All in all, between the misdiagnosis of my computers problem, stubbornness to even test it with another charger (which would have solved my problem immediately), and giving me a ridiculous estimate ($120 for a $9 part and 5-10 min of labor) and my frustration with not being able to get to my work files for almost 2 weeks (when I could have had it the whole time if he had just plugged it in like I had asked twice), suffice to say I am not a happy customer. Again, I hate leaving bad reviews. I only wanted to bring this to the owners attention and hope for some recourse on his/her end to let the staff know to exhaust the possible simple 10 second fixes first instead of stubbornly insisting on $120 repairs that arent needed and ridiculously marked up. Even with a very healthy profit on their end, $9 part and 10 min labor I would think $50 would have been more than fair, and to be honest I probably would have just left my computer there if that would have been the quote. But again, Im fairly hands on and not an idiot

I got more than an hour service, but only charged for one hour, because of unavoidable interruptions from walk ins when I brought my old and new laptops into their office. Greg was very busy that day. I made the appointment thinking it was going to be simple, and a short time, to get done what I needed to get done. Well, it turns out that IE, the latest version, was not working well on my new laptop,. When Firefox and Google Chrome were installed, they worked fine. I kept telling Greg that I was super busy at that time, and didnt want to learn a new browser. But, when I saw that most of the problems that I was having were caused by IE, he was able to educate me to the valuable opportunity of Firefox, and make it easy to accept by gently leading me to make the right decision. I like it when Im gently educated to the best decision for me, because Im like most people, I resist changing from what Im used to. Greg is a true professional. I will continue using True Blue Computers for all my hardware needs!
