Bill took his time and did a super job giving me good information to help me find a set of clubs that will take me to the next level. He had me hit several drivers and irons and analyzed my swing for issues that could improve my game. At the end of my session he summarized and gave me club recommendations that will help me make an informed decision. I felt no pressure and know he gave me soild information. Thank you Bill! PGA Store - you have a customer for life.
Always a favorable shopping experience here. Great store!
Had new grips put on my clubs, gentleman did a great job. My clubs have been in hybernation for 10 years and now they look brand new. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.
Pretty poor experience all around. Visiting Myrtle for a vacation and rented clubs to play a single round of golf. Took 45 mins and 3 employees to get this done. They tried giving me a left handed set twice. They didnt check all the clubs in the bag to make sure it was a full set. I dont think the kid knew a single thing about golf. Also, we werent able to return the clubs to a different store that was closer to the course we played. Would not recommend. Id recommend renting clubs directly from a course if you want to play golf in Myrtle
I must admit when I walked in to get fitted for new clubs I wasn’t sure where to begin other than to ask for Mike. I’d read a few reviews that spoke highly of him and that’s all I knew upfront. I hadn’t bought new clubs in probably thirty years. I know, it’s been awhile, but I’ve been coaching HS softball and didn’t have or take time to play. The Ol’ Ping Zing 2s had to go for sure but I didn’t know how/where to begin in getting my first ever set of fitted clubs. So I tracked Mike down and after a brief discussion on what brand, price range and the fact that I had only played one round in the last two years and less than ten in the last twenty years, we began the process. Mike was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and more than anything he made me feel at ease. I had no clue what I was doing and he walked me through it from irons, putters, gold bags and even an App and a book he recommended that I check out. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and I’m excited to get back out and start enjoying golf again. I know this might seem corny but I feel like a made a friend in Mike. Thank you.
Mike was extremely helpful and patient! He was excellent in assisting with club fitting as well as giving recommendations to improve my game. In a time when equipment is hard to find, this store ultimately had what I needed in stock within my budget. Would highly recommend visiting this store for any of your golfing needs!
Great store! A little pricey but its worth it for the above top notch service! We me an extra two hour trip just to go to THIS LOCATION!!!
Visited the store today wanting to purchase a new 3 Wood. Had one in mind but after spending over 45 minutes with Bill, I discovered that I really didnt have the slightest idea what I needed. Bill took me step by step through a process to select the right club for me. Im very grateful for Bills patience and professionalism.
One of the managers, Rob, was extremely helpful and patient with addressing my order questions. He was very friendly and went out of his way to help resolve my issues! This would have been a 5 star review if not for the other tall young manager who was really rude and condescending to women. Went in to shopping but felt really disrespected by him so left immediately after my problem was resolved. Not sure if I want to go back to this store again with him inside..
Very clean and organized. Lots of new stock but not much pre-owned, which isnt surprising right now. Associates were nice and attentive.
All of the items I was interested in were over priced and limited in sizes
Quite a lot of material in store. Good selection, helpful staff.
We always make a point to stop by this location when in town. Mike Morgan always goes above and beyond to advise on our familys equipment and coaching needs. We purchased wedges and installed grips during our last visit.
Nice staff, hooked me up with a regrip of a club in just a couple minutes. They have a great selection of grips. The only bad thing is the great selection of golf clubs and gear.
If youre serious about the game and want a fitting, DO NOT come here. Im a single digit index and the fitter told me I would be better off getting lessons and gave me equipment that clearly didnt fit me. I went to another local fitter and was fit for an entire set in less than 2 hours with significant improvements. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is that they have a huge selection product in one place if you need it ASAP.
Went in today to purchase a hybrid club but unfortunately they didnt have it. Grabbed some other things to purchase and got in line . After standing in line for a while the manager comes up and yells for the guys on the other side to open up a register, then says the man with the golf club can go down to the next register but he was behind me and had just walked up. Guess you have to make a big purchase to be noticed. Unfortunately for me I bought a driver a couple days before, what a surprise that was a totally different experience.
Great store and got to hit the clubs before we bought them. Large selection and store has high end equipment!A great golf store!
Have shopped in this store multiple times over the years when we are in the Myrtle Beach area. Recently went in to hopefully purchase & be fitted for a new set of irons. Also, had a 3 wood that needed a new shaft and grip. I asked a sales associate before I hit any clubs if it was ok to hit the clubs on display as I was looking to purchase some new irons. He said hit whatever you want and walked off. Was in the store for almost an hour looking at womens clubs and hitting various ones in the bays. Not one time did any associate ask if they could assist me. Sales associates did however keep asking the gentleman in the adjoining bay if they could help him. Poor customer service. I felt ignored and left. Doubt I will ever be back.
This store was pretty epic, I finally found driving gloves that I liked! Very happy
Went in to buy a new driver and a set of irons to update my very old equipment. I knew generally which ones I wanted of both but went here hoping to get some advice on the specific model and shaft type. Finding someone here willing to help proved to be almost impossible, despite the fact that they were not overly busy. From what I saw they hire mostly older gentlemen who would obviously rather be anywhere but working in this golf store. I did find someone who - although not very friendly - did help me select the right driver. No such luck with the irons. I wanted Ping g410s but needed help with sizing. I tracked someone down to ask for help with that since Ping has a good system to “customize” the correct size. He hurriedly took one measurement and said they’d have to “fit” me to know for sure what I need and then walked off without another word on who does that or how to arrange it. I left the driver, golf bag, and everything else I had and left. I am not inclined to beg someone to do business with me. The biggest reason to go somewhere like this rather than ordering online for many people is to get advice from someone knowledgeable about what to buy. The prices of some items were higher than online but I don’t mind that if I can get good advice. I didn’t find that here. I never leave reviews but if this were my business I’d certainly want to know how far short they fall in service.
People are very helpful and friendly. Not a great selection for tennis attire but the prices we good for what was there.
Lots of great deals! Helpful and friendly staff!
Meh... little stock and better deals online.
This is one of the best PGA TOUR Superstores in the state and region. Service is always exceptional. I like the fact that they also have a great tennis racquet selection, along with tennis shoes and many accessories. And when they have a sale, their prices are genuinely hard to beat. Always love going into this place. Always end up spending money.
Love this store! We stop in every time we are in MB for Golf! Amazing staff, great selection of golf equipment, shoes, and clothes. Had some clubs regripped and guys did a great job. Lastly, on my birthday I got a great deal/discount on a pre-owned Ping driver. Definitely recommend stopping in here if youre in MB.
*Daniel Erker* gets 5 stars 🌟 for his professionalism and knowledge. We came in to get fitted for an iron set on Friday and we came back Saturday and made the purchase. We worked with Daniel and he was very friendly and not pushy. We will certainly visit this store again! By the way we purchased a set of callaway apex irons.
Great store. Lots of stuff. Friendly staff.
Pretty good selection. The prices are kind of high but I always shot the clearance racks
We were interested in buying a new Bertha driver and the kid who waited on us in the club fitting area was absolutely no help. He just walked away and didnt help my husband at all to help him see what he was doing wrong. He never came back after 10 minutes so we just left.
Great place to try and test clubs, great shoe selection
Good deals can be found. Friendly staff. Pretty much have everything conserning golf and tennis
Rob and Chris were very helpful in my putter quest. They helped me figure out lie angle and degree. Would highly recommend.
Nice store. Lots of high end quality products. My golf game is not that good yet
If you are struggling with your golf clubs or golf swing go by and see Mike Morgan at the Myrtle Beach location- he helped me and my friends on our annual 4 day golf trip this week and made it much more satisfying by pointing out issues with our swings that were obvious to him but not to us and also fitted one of our guys with a new set of irons that he is very happy with after 2 rounds!
I have been Superstore numerous times. I have spent the last 10 years month of October in Myrtle Beach. I have purchased items and had repairs done too my clubs at Superstore. I have been met by Staff that are very knowledgeable and professional. I have always walked away thinking I have been treated very well and received a good value for my dollar.
This is a great PGA tour superstore, however with the COVID-19 crisis going on, the whole vibe is unusual. Also everything in a golf shop is hands on which makes the place seem perhaps more dangerous to some. These are just difficult and unusual times were living in right now. Its not the stores fault.
Beautiful, clean store. Well stocked with latest apparel and golf equipment. Clean restrooms also. The place to shop if you are a golfer or love a golfer!
Did not like the store, Salesman I had was lazy
Great store!
Huge selection of equipment, apparel and shoes. Prices are about average, in some cases, lower than average. Great place to pick up a few items before heading out!
Could find same items at local golf store or even Wal-Mart. Lots of clothes and clubs if you are interested in paying top price.
Great store for all golfers. I had a couple of clubs regripped..took only 10 min! Just wish the ladies golf wear was not so pricey.
Great place to go for golf or tennis. Have everything you could want or need.
Good store for golf and tennis needs
Clean. Attentive associates. Good place to go if you want to try clubs or get fit for Ping, Callaway, etc. Large selection of golf shoes and clothing too
Good price on golf shoes
NOT IMPRESSED!Stopped by today to check out the store. Big and airy. Walked around looking at clubs for a while, and, no one acknowledged me.Went to fitting station to inquire about new irons. I know clubs are expensive, but I have never bought fitted clubs, so I dont know what sort of price they command. Salesman pretty much scuffed at the amount I said I was looking to spend: Thatll never happen were his words.Only advice he gave me: Because I am tall, fitted clubs are the same as custom clubs. Other than that, he did not want to put any effort into helping me - and he didnt!!Need better customer service than that. Someone walking through the door may be ready to spend a thousand dollars or more. I will be spending my money somewhere else.
Prices to high inventory low
NOT SATISFIED! I purchased a set of Taylor Made Irons which were sent out on April 9th 2020. I tried them and found them to be too heavy for me to swing. This is the fourth set of irons I have purchased in my 40 years of playing. The irons are too heavy for me to swing. I have not been able to speak to a golf professional there and the only recourse I have is to take a store credit since I used them for a couple hits to see if I liked them. So I have 750.00 tied up at the Superstore until it opens and I can get to Myrtle Beach. I thought I would have to pay a restocking fee. These clubs were already used as demos before I purchased and came without wrapping and showed wear. I would love to speak to a staff member there about clubs. Terrible on line service. No chat or email assistance.
Gteat place to find all the Golf gear you need and more. They also have great sales.
Good sale today
Really disappointed in my experience here, I went in with my 3 year old driver(Callaway rouge) to test against the new drivers. The fitter or salesman acted like I was a burden to him, only allowing me to test the cobra driver. I hit it three times and he tried to take it out of my hands and asked if I wanted to buy it. Terrible experience. I have been buying Golf clubs for over 25 years and never had such a terrible experience
I was totally disappointed with the customer service from the repair shop in this store. I have my own tool to replace spikes in shoes, but did not have the tool with me. There was a tool laying on the counter for some reason, (almost as though for customer use)I told the young guy behind the counter what type of shoes I had and he picked out the spikes for me.He then said do you also need the tool and I told him no I have it back in NY but need to change some spikes now and that I would use the tool laying on the counter and just quickly change them. He told me I could not use the tool and made me buy the $5.00 tool. Needles to say after all the years of supporting that business they will never get another Penny out of me. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A SERVICE DRIVEN STORE. VERY SAD!!!
This place has went downhill since it was known as Martins. Once it was bought out by the much larger business, prices rose, and it seemed to become more run-down. While it is a great place to find everything that you need in regards to golf paraphernalia, it would have been much better off had it not been sold to PGA Superstore.
Went in to get fitted for a new driver. Walked around looking at several different ones and no one ever offered me help. At one point while I was looking at Taylormade sim and sim max driver. Had an employee look at me walking by and asked the kid (maybe 11 ) if he needed help. Walked back past me without asking. Lost a sale over this
Lots of clearance items up if youre looking to save a little, love this place.
Tons of selection, cool facilities to help you select clubs using software and launch monitors to get you fitted properly. Prices are standard fare for golf clubs new and used.
Nice store. Dont expect many bargains but youll find everything for your golfing needs: gloves, hats, shoes, balls, tees, clothing and much more.
I took a 6 pack of lessons from Chris at this Superstore and was initially hesitant. However, in no time I was eased into swinging my clubs with confidence and a new found set of strategies that work! Thank you ever so much Chris for the terrific tips, the patience, the professionalism and the immense knowledge to get me on the road to an improved golf game. I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to improve their game - or for those beginners looking to start.
Large selection helpful staff
They have anything you want to be outfitted to play golf!!
Great clothes choices for my son and practice golf hitting for my grandson!
The negative reviews are not accurate! I visited and was greeted many of times. Chris stopped to talk to me about my game, and set me up with a FREE club fitting. Within about 30 min we was able to find a driver that gave me 20 more yds and straighter. I felt really welcome at this place, and Chris stressed that he was there to service all my golf needs.
Great store great selection.
Huge selection of just about anything you can think of.
Love this store. My son and I always go when we’re in town.
Went in to get fitted for a new driver. Great selection and brand diversification. I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Jeff. He was very professional and beyond knowledgeable of the products and the golf swing. He was very helpful with choosing the right shafts along with the club head. I ended up leaving happy with a driver and even got a free golf lesson too. Thank you jeff
If you are a golf nut looking to score some new or even good used clubs or accessories then this is the place to check out. I was able to get a nice used Cleveland 60 degree wedge and a chipper putter there for a great price. I highly recommend stopping by to get your golf fix.
Mandatory masks ruins the experience of your store.
Good selection of clubs
Great selection, friendly and helpful staff
Took my grandson here the other day, they sales associate took time to measure the right height for golf clubs.. We found the right one for a good price
I went in to buy a new grip for my driver and couldnt find what I was looking for so I asked a young man behind the repair counter if he could tell me where to find the grip I was looking for and he said he was off the clock and walked away. I then asked the guy replacing grips behind the counter where I might find a mid size grip and he said they were all mid size grips, which the werent, and walked away. The lady working the cash register also acted like she would have liked to have been somewhere else. Not a warm and fuzzy personality. The guy that put my grip on my club was very nice and helpful. There is a great golf shop on 17 in Murrells Inlet with friendly, helpful employees. Pretty sure I wont be going back to the PGA Superstore.
Great place to shop for Golf equipment and clothes also.
A golfers paradise!
Great place for the golfer,,
I purchased 6 Lessons with Chris Abraham. At first, I was really nervous but Chris made me feel very comfortable and I was hitting my new irons and hybrids after one lesson. I also learned to chip!!! I am very pleased with my lessons and highly recommend Chris. Thanks very much, Chris.
The place was awful. the service was terrible.
Nice place. Good pricing.
I went here the other day and bought all brand new clubs and bag. I asked for help when I was looking around and a young guy that works there couldnt have cared less about helping me get set up. The clubs I purchased ended up not having the correct head covers to come with it and they wouldnt order them for me. I dont know why i went thru with the purchase. The only person that seemed to care was the cashier when i checked out he told me about the warranty and what to do if these clubs dont work out for me and I want to switch out clubs. Very disappointed in this superstore
Great store cheap prices for a golf store.
Went there to maybe get fitted for a new driver shaft to get more distance and better numbers. I brought my driver in. Its a Callaway fusion so I can try new shafts by just unscrewing the head. I hit my club several times and the guy that I was with seemed like he wasnt interested. He told me the shaft I had he had fitted plenty of people with that shaft in their irons but he wouldnt recommend it for driver. He watched me hit a few more balls and said to stick with that shaft without even trying anything else. Apparently only if they know youre going to buy something from them is the only time they will help you. Complete waste of time.
Great selection of bags and ladies clothes
Great store..always helpful, the club repair guys are the best..always fit me in for regrip or adjustment, while I wait..you cant ask for anything more than that..
Worst run store Ive seen, possibly ever. 6 people waiting to check out, 1 person on cash register, 5 people standing around bsing. Prices are high, does have a wide selection.
Great staff, huge selection. i had an issue with a pair of footjoy shoes that were outside of the store guarantee. the manager called footjoy handled the issue and was able to get me a brand new pair immediately. i would highly recommend this location to anyone.
Great place to buy Golf equipment. Management(Mrs. Bridget) is adamant about great customer service. Lyle Steve and the many associates offer professional advice about clubs and friendly conversation. PGA Superstore is a golfers dream.
Multiple staff members asked if we needed assistance and one found the shoe size we needed. Everyone was practicing social distancing.
Decent selection. Plenty of staff, found a Callaway driver that worked well for me on the used rack. Had a split grip, broken hosel and a ton of tee marks. Had $119 on it. I offered a $100 and I’d buy a new grip. I know these used clubs have at least 50% markup and a $100 offer on a used price of inventory was more than fair. Drove here from NC and needless to say it was a waste of my time.
Great selection of everything!
Great clearance!
Typical prices. Small used section. Hardly any club covers. Was nice to try out clubs in the nets and screens. The bonus here is the club fitting/regripping while you wait. Huge selection of golf shoes.
Great store big selections
Not alot of stuff for left handers. And prices were a little to high. But selection is great
This store is great! I love the merchandise and people there are pretty helpful.EXCEPT for one employee which i dont know his name. I was walking around the store and went to the new club rack and saw a Hybrid club that had been clearly used and even had scuff marks, It was the OBVIOUS demo club. So i pick it up and go to the hitting bay and start the computer so that it will track my shots, as im about to hit(mind you I havent hit a shot) an employee comes up to me and asks if i purchased the club, for which i responded no, he later takes the club from my hand and inspects the face of the club (that had been clearly hit by someone else) and accuses me of hitting it and damaging a NEW CLUB.I told him that i hadnt hit the club and he later goes on and asks if im calling him a liar, and i tell him that he isnt a liar im just saying that i havent hit the club and later invite him to check the security cameras to prove that hes wrong. He starts walking away and I keep insisting on checking the cameras and he turns back and tells me to SHUT UP!!!!! At that moment I ask him if hes out of his mind and he says: YEAH A LITTLE BIT. This employee was really rude and disrespectful, he insulted a costumer without having any reason to do so. I go up to the manager and complain and all they can come up with is a $10 gift card. I DONT WANT A GIFT CARD!!! This is outrage! What kind of people are they hiring that can go up and insult costumers?!?!I hope this person gets fired and banned from working in any golf store of course! I feel really offended!
Manager and staff were awesome
