The first time I visited here I knew I had found the best plant nursery in the area - and I’ve visited quite a few. They have a great selection and the plants are healthy and well cared for. I’m extremely happy with both my new shrubs and the crew who planted them for me. The entire staff at Southern Scapes are friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. The prices are reasonable too!

Couldnt be happier with the service and plants that Southern Scapes provided for my home. They came and mapped everything out with me and made it happen. The crew couldnt have been more accommodating. They even helped me pick out which trees they thought looked the best, seeing that they have way more experience dealing with them. Another aspect that I was happy with was the placement of everything in my yard. They have a great eye about how everything looks best. On top of that, they removed a dead bush for nothing. I highly recommend them for all your needs to have a beautiful yard.

I love the attention, information, ideas and professionalism of all the people who work here. They were pleasant to work with. Jenna sent us our quote via email within 1 day. The prices were extremely reasonable too. We looked for Euro-fan palms at quite few places. They had the best prices we found. We went back a few weeks later to add something to our plans. Once again, they had great ideas and gave us tips to keep our plants looking healthy and beautiful. All in all, it was an above average experience!

The person was very helpful and knew all about plants..He even explained how to care for the over winter.

Nice plants but rude staff not one person said anything to us. We are out from out of state and don’t know what we’re looking at and would love to spend more money but we only spent $179..... I have a Nursery back in Knoxville Tennessee and I was looking for a partnership definitely will not be this place. Shop elsewhere!

We absolutely LOVE Southern Scapes Landscaping. We were looking to remove our mulch at our home and replace it with rock. They finished this large job in only one day which completely shocked us. All of their workers were hustlers, very professional and did an AMAZING job. We are so happy we went with a family owned business instead of a large corporation landscaping company. We will for sure call Southern Scapes to finish getting our mulch out of the back yard next for sure.

⭐ So far, so good. Took a ride there today to look at their plants and meet with the staff. Many, many palms and other trees and plants and they all looked healthy and well cared for. Talked to the friendly staff about having someone come out to my house to give a landscaping estimate in mid-November. Ill update this review after I hear their suggestions and get the estimate. Ill update it again with before and after photos if/when the work is done.

About a month ago we had Jenna from Southern Scapes come to our home and offer landscaping suggestions. Jenna is so knowledgeable and so nice! Truly! This past week, the Southern Scapes team came to reconfigure our flowers beds and install three new palm trees! WOW! That A difference! We love what they did, the quality of their work - and - how easy/nice they are...its great to work with nice people - who care! I would highly recommend them - for small to large projects - they are cool with DIY as well...they have a nice garden center on 501! Thank you Jenna & Nick for an awesome job! You folks are the best of the best!

They did a great landscaping job for me, they made note of all underground utilities and were careful and conscientious when removing hedges and shrubs and planting new ones. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.I recommend them for anyone needing landscaping work.

The staffing from Southern Scapes Landscaping did a superb job with our front and back yard. I knew it was being done while I was away for business during the time they were scheduled to arrive. Imagine my amazement when returning home to see a beautiful Palm Tree and small Windmill Palm along with beautiful plants, Muhly Grass and some new shrubbery. They also did a fantastic job to our back yard as well.If anyone is thinking of having landscaping done go to Southern Scapes. The crew that did our house was very efficient and thorough. Beautiful plants, fair prices and great help in a surprisingly convenient location. Quality of their plants is so much better than the home centers. Nick, an owner, helped me out this morning with a number of plants I will install myself. And, he cautioned me to wait on some ore tropical stuff until we got through this next cold snap. They also will be installing a Palm tree for us at our home in Surfside Beach. Very professional. They insist on a utility locate for planting the palm - which is a must and provided written care instructions with the warranty. Pass by the home centers and check this place out near downtown Myrtle Beach!

Everyone is helpful and friendly, prices are reasonable for a nursery. Drew gave us some excellent advice on how to decorate a bare part of our yars with perennials so we wouldnt have to plant every year.

Just had mulch delivered, was told by staff that it would be alright to pay after it was delivered. Shortly after it was delivered the owner called and was extremely rude to me as a paying customer blaming me for there mess up.I have dealt with them in the past over the years and have referred tons of landscaping work to them from different owners. I have been told in the past about how rude the owner is. There’s lots of other landscaping companies at the beach. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere for estimates.

I was on this site to make a delivery. The man who was supposed to receive the merchandise treated me with a lot of racism and in the worst way you can treat a person. I do not recommend this place

The 2 young men that came to work on my yard were some of the best Ive ever had do work for me. They showed up exactly on time, they unloaded and spread 3 ton of rock in a very timely manner. They did not just drop the rock, they took time to spread it and made it look very nice. They also removed a dead and very studon pindo palm tree. The young men were dressed professional, clean cut and very friendly. We will definitely use Southern Scapes in the future.
