Great Service and I believe reasonable prices...
The service was excellent. Mark was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand. And went out of his way to help my situation.I would recommend to anyone who needs their services.
One of the last repair shops with integrity and honesty!!
He was upfront. There was a question on the bill and after a quick conversation the money was refunded. Hard to find true honesty
Guys went above and beyond to get my truck in there and done! Great quality of workmanship and great work ethic!
My bosses truck has been in the shop there for two months. Supposedly it was diagnosed with a lift pump issue then a TIPM and now an ECM. Load up the parts shotgun boys. What’s next injectors? Seems like they’re not in a hurry to get it done. I would not recommend this place
If I could give zero stars I would. They changed prices, charged me to diagnose a vehicle they werent certified for, etc. I was coordinating from another state and they didnt allow the tow company I had hired on their property due to. family issue. Very unprofessional!!
Great mechanics, we totally trust them with our vehicles!
When I first called, I was told that the tow to the shop would be free, no conditions. I then got a call, and was told it would cost $237.12 total. I approved the repairs at that cost. When I went to pay, I was told the cost was $401.00. The also told me they recorded our conversation I had to pay it to get my car back and will be speaking to the manager when he gets in. It is ridiculous to be told one price, and then given another price after the service is done. BEWARE of this shop!
Helped me out even coming from out of town
Great Team! Great Service! I wait to have my car serviced until I am in Nampa when ever I can because I trust the team to take good care of my vehicles. I also know that they are committed to excellent customer service.
Honest, hardworking and knowledgeable! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to be treated fairly!
I had some problems with starting my car so I called for a tow truck and they took it here. They looked at it and fixed it quickly, and for a very reasonable price. I appreciate all the work this shop does and I highly recommend this to everyone.
Reading some of these negatives makes me wonder if they went to the same shop......myself and several of my friends have ALL our work done here......the management is honest and the prices are in line with the services rendered....That being said, I trust them with my vehicle which is a high compliment in this day and age.....Keep up the good work guys, Even when I not glad to see you because my car broke down, at least I know I wont get ripped off!
I went in because I had heard good things about this shop and I was highly impressed. They were friendly and quick to fix my issue. I would definitely recommend Nampa Auto for anyone who needs work done.
Last week I had my vehicle at another shop to be repaired. I then had it towed to Nampa Auto Repair where they fixed my vehicle at a very low cost. I will recommend these guys from this point forward.
The customer service is amazing! I have a 2006 dodge and was having issues with it. Took it in and they had it repaired and me back on the road in no time! Thanks to everyone at nampa auto repair.
DO NOT GO HERE. They will scam you. As a veteran myself, this guy is a POS.
Mark the owner is both trustworthy and a man of high integrity. I live in California but my daughter goes to college there in Nampa. She owned a VW Bug that was very problematic with electrical issues. It was a very stressful situation with my daughter being there and me being in California with no way to help her when her car just died while she was driving it. On multiple occasions Mark helped us out and got my daughters car back on the road. More than once he sent his tow truck out to get the car and bring it to the shop. I now have peace of mind knowing that if my daughter has car troubles I can tell her to take it to Nampa Auto Repair and Mark will take car of it. He is fast, courteous, competant and fair priced. You will not regret using his service.
This place is great. I always dislike getting my car fixed, but They took care of my car at a reasonable price. I will continue to use them and tell all of my friends! Also, Thank you for all of your families military service!!!
I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. The owner went above and beyond to help me out and earned every one of the 5 stars I can give him. The prices were much better than other shops I have used, and the crew and owner even went so far as to stay after hours for me so I could get my car back at a time that worked for me. They never tired to sell me something I didnt need and were even willing to do same-day-turn work, which is unprecedented. They kept in communication with me the entire time the car was being repaired and completely answered all my questions. If 6-stars was an option, Nampa Auto Repair earned it. I will be using them again in the future.
My car was towed to the shop. The staff were friendly, fixed my car for a fair price and got me back on the road. Thanks to all.
Really great group of people to have working on your vehicle they are very efficient on getting things done. Im always happy when I leave with my vehicle, Bringing your vehicle there is highly recommended.
I was in Nampa for a funeral and on friday my check engine light came on and I had a long ways to drive back home. They checked it out and turned out it was only a loose wire to a part at the gas tank. Because it was such a quick and easy fix they didnt charge me the full regular amount. Professional, helpful and friendly service and glad that I took my Jeep to their shop.
5 star tow from Patrick. Friendly and not a very long wait time.
Awesome diesel shop. If you have a diesel truck and need repairs or want to get more power out of it this is the place to go you will get taken care of and have you smiling every time you drive your pickup!
Great service and pricing! Will be coming back.
After reading these comments and the majority that left bad reviews were women make me more upset over my experience here. I trusted them. That was a bad decsion. Nothing was fixed, right after I left the shop my car did the same thing it was doing before I took it in. They charged us for an engine tear down because supposedly it was my timing chain, then when it wasnt that we had to pay for the engine to be put back together. Then it was my coils, they put used ones in and then after leaving when my car almost died and I brought it back they said the other coils made these coils go bad. Then said they would fix it but it would be more money. I got a bit upset and shed a few years because I had no way to pay for more. Eventually get my car looked at by another shop and its my timing belt that they said wasnt an issue, but tore down my engine for then charged us for. Then this other shop calls them out and they lie, they go as far as saying I was hysterical and hard to work with. Because Im a woman thats where it goes... My ex finds the original paperwork from them and then asks them to send what they have, the original is completely different from the faces copy. They altered things to fit what they did and what they denied doing. They took advantage of me because I know nothing about cars. My car is still not fixed and theyre still running around hidding their shady behavior. From a single mother with two kids and they knew this...
Shop is very knowledgeable and goes out of there way to work with customers
GREAT SHOP. I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY VISIT.
Affordable, honest and reliable. Ive trusted Mark and his team with all my vehicle service needs from diesel repair to routine maintenance.
It was the worst service ever in my life. Here are the things that I experienced with them.- When I showed up & waited 20min while the owner was working with other customer, he never asked the excuse for the wait.. not even saying Hi- They didnt do anything on my car for 3 days. No call or explanation for the delay. I had to call them to check the status but they always said we are looking at it. Turned out that they were focusing on other customers car that they would make more money to fix- Still charged on my car for their no work when I decided to leave there w/o getting it fixed- Found a review saying that never go this shop especially when towed. Agreed 100%
So this is a long over due post. But it wasnt until my recent trip back home to Idaho from Portland Oregon that really made me think about actually giving credit where its due. When I lived back in Nampa I was a regular customer of Nampa Auto, I took my vehicle in for regular oil changes and service all the time. I can say that Danny, the head mechanic, is probably the best mechanic I know of. He has never short changed me and gave me the honest truth. A year ago when my front wheel hubs were going bad he walked me out to my truck and physically showed me where the noise was coming from, he explained it to where I could understand what was happening. He said it was a simple fix but when the parts were delayed by the part service it was either stay late or come back another day. Danny decided to stay late and got the job done by 630pm.So the main reason why I am posting this is because a few years ago my fuel pump was causing me problems, which apparently is a Chevy problem. I was going to go with the cheapest pump but after doing some research I found that probably wasnt the best option. Mark and Danny both told me about the option they have through one of their part dealers. I could go with the cheaper option which was $250 or go with their recommendation which was a fuel pump that had a lifetime warranty with guaranteed service, that was $450 installed. I decided to take that option.Well about 5 years later (a week ago) I was about 80 miles outside of Nampa on a trip back home to visit family when I lost power and found myself on the side of the interstate. Well naturally I called Nampa Auto repair and told them about it. Mark said no worries and sent out a truck to get me. Towed my vehicle in and was even nice enough to drop me off at my moms house after. Next day I get a call and sure enough it was the fuel pump, (I havent exactly been good on it, I run it low a lot and apparently thats bad for the Chevy pumps since in GMs genius design they made it to where they only way the pump motor is cooled Is by the fuel itself per Danny) anyway Mark says no worries, its covered under the warrantee, even the tow I asked him well what if it happened in say Pendleton? He said still covered, just get a tow to any shop there and call us and we will help you get it fixed under warrantee no way?! Way! He said.Needless to say that same day I had my truck back running like new. Danny showed me the old pump and what I did to it, and told me about making sure I keep enough fuel in it so that the pump stays cool. He cant fix GMs faulty design all he can do is educate the customer on how to prevent the mishaps. THATS what a mechanic is supposed to do! Thank you Mark and Danny for saving my butt!
We trusted them with our only vehicle and every time something got worked on with them i had to take it back for something else. Supposibly the problem got fixed but it came back everytime and every time it was something different so they say. We finally had another mechanic look at it and he proved they were not fixing anything. My radiator cap got replaced with a bad one, we got charged for new wires and our mechanic said that the wires have never been replaced and showed us they are the original ones. We paid for a cam shaft sensors and thought that was fixed and found out it NEVER got replaced. We spent over 1k with them and nothing ever got actually fixed. Thank god we found a honest mechanic who is helping us out now and fixing our problems and not charging an arm and a leg. We Will never go back to this place or refer them to anyone all they did was take our money and caused more problems for us. Becareful people just because it seems like they are charging a good price doesnt meen they are fixing your problem, probably just messing with something else so you go back later beware
So where do i start..... i shouldve known since the beginning when we were towing our car to an other mechanics and the son convinced us tontake it to his fathers place just down the street..... at the time i thought he was being nice now i know he was being shady. Literally stealing business from another company.... then we went in for one cam shaft and they convinced me that it would be better to switch them all so this problem wouldnt happen again... sounded again tlike they really cared... although it was a lot i felt good that my baby was taken care of... then about 2 days later another light goes on and its time for my emissions testing so i go back to them and have them run a diagnostic and of course the amount to repair... same as the other sensors but this time it was the o2 sensors... for both it was going to be about 500 for one 220. We looked it up and o2 sensors were only 45 job seemed easy enough so my better half started the job but due to work couldnt finish and i needed the car asap . Again i called them had my baby towed and told them that I had someone from Craigslist come and fix it. They seemed concerned and said never to do that because you dont know who you get. When they were done fixing it they ended up charging me the same price as if they wouldve changed them both even though i had the part they only needed to replace it... claiming to have needed to replace the whole part including wires because they were cut incorrectly I didnt say anything I paid for it and left but I watched my significant other fix it cut the wires and it was completely done right the piece was the same. Two days later again a light comes up I get it checked out it says I have a massive air leak and thats how I found my new mechanic he confirmed that the piece had not been switched that it was just replaced and wheni told him my story said i had been ripped off. Thanks to my new mechanic i passed my emmisions. And just this morning7 months later found out my cam shaft a is needing replaced... how... idk. Im not going back. you shouldnt either
Speaking as an ex employee and customer, Nampa Auto Repair is the absolute worst Automotive shop in all of Canyon County and quite possibly all of Idaho. The owner Mark Boisvert will profile each customer and change his rates to get as much money as he can out of you. He has no basic knowledge of auto repair and claims to be ASE certified but nobody in his shop has any certification. He will lie about problems to cover himself and say there is more research that needs to be done. He buys parts from Oriellys and than charges the customer MORE than what Oriellys charges the general public, he will also charge you more if he doesnt like you. He is extremely dishonest, he has no repeat business except for the cars his shop constantly has to bring back from faulty repairs. Please avoid Nampa Auto Repair at all costs ESPECIALLY if your car gets towed and he swindles you into taking your car to his shop, if you have a disagreement with the repairs made he will also seize your car. Im looking forward to when they have to close their doors AGAIN.
Patrick was awesome.
I take my car there because theyre just around the corner from my house.
They have Very friendly and helpful employees and I didnt feel like a idiot walking out if a shop for once.
Scummy liars. Dont go here
Patrick was great
Just stay away I know this guy personally he is a crook and a scam and scum.stay away at all cost I wish I had than maybe I would of bought a house instead of trying to start a cab company with this pos
