From out of town and stopped in for some breakfast and coffee. Such a CUTE place, very trendy atmosphere. SOOOOOOO much to look at, they have a cute shop with a whole bunch for sale. Coffee was excellent as well and service was fast. I ordered a piece of their peach coffee cake and it was to die for! Definitely would recommend.
Cool vibe here. This is not your standard preppy Starbucks- nope. This place is in an old repair shop and is really cool. Its unique atmosphere coupled with its one of a kind decore is complemented by its wide range of top notch drinks eats and gifts. Located in historic Downtown Nampa. Check out the pictures
First time, I was very disappointed. Looks great from the outside. Pastries were dried out, like eating chalk. The eclectic decor wasnt eclectic more like sitting down in a dingy thrift store. The roasting area had ugly peg board surrounding it. The stage had boxes stacked. The wall was the ugliest shade of green I have ever seen. Time to update the food and decor.
Always a great place to grab a quick coffee and great tasting treats as well. Always fresh and made on same day. When bringing guests over it’s a perfect vibe to either study or have a meeting.
Im not the type to post negative reviews ever, even if I have terrible service but Occult items in a coffee shop is not only weird but morally wrong. Tarot cards for kids really? Im all for loving everyone and respecting peoples beliefs but thats just wrong. If people choose to dabble in the occult in their personal time thats on them but you shouldnt have that at a place where kids frequent in the kids section of your gift shop. Its super dark stuff.... If you know you know.
One of my favorite coffee shops. Always friendly, comfy vibe, and good coffee. I was feeling super sweet today so I got a double chocolate mocha smoothie (not on the menu anymore but they made it for me) and a chocolate chip cookie. My friend got a lemon cookie and my GOODNESS that was good too! And an iced mocha.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The scones and mochas from Flying M are hands down the best I ever had...Starbucks who?
My latte was perfect. Just the right temperature and the made-in-house caramel was delicious. I love the sizing of your drinks. Employees are professional and helpful. Thank you!
Best coffee ever! The staff are friendly and even when it us busy they are super fast at getting your order out! Cute shop attached with local artists.
Casual, kinda funky ambience, good coffee and friendly staff. They have unique items in the gift shop area.
AMAZING COFFEE SHOP! Having recently moved to the area was looking for a local coffee shop to have my daily coffee. I love the Coffee Garage the layout is unique retrofitting an old garage keeping the heritage of the original building they absolutely nailed it. On nice summer day love that they open the overhead doors get the breeze going thru the coffee shop and enjoy the fresh air with your favourite beverage, a relaxing afternoon!I prefer to use a local coffee shop vs a big chain like Starbucks, this is my go to spot! Staff is very friendly and polite.Coffee is great never had a bad cup of coffee here. Typically order whatever is being brewed that day not into the fancy lattes and frappes however if that is your thing they have a large menu and they always look amazing!
As someone who is a Barista myself, the customer service here is horrible. The two girls there did not greet us when we walked in, didn’t seem to care about giving their customers the best experience, and messed up my drink because she was too busy wanting to chat with her coworker. In general, the place is good, but the employees need to work on bettering the experience they give their customers. Hope this encourages to improve. They also mentioned something about them disliking their schedules, maybe their managers should encourage them to not have those types of conversations at work.
The server was friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is lovely. Lots of open space. They serve and sell on the shelf Divine Lotus Tea . Thats a plus because life is too short to drink boring tea. Divine Lotus Tea has some excellent choices for the discerning tea drinker.
This has been my hangout spot for the past 10-ish years and has only gotten better with time. 10/10 would have this place be the setting to my coming of age movie again
I was in town visiting family and I was very excited to return to this coffee shop since I hadn’t visited for years. I was very disappointed with the customer service from the one guy at the register. He rudely took my order and had a terrible attitude. He completely ruined my expectations for this coffee shop and I won’t be back in the future.
The coffee is good but not good enough to tolerate the consistent poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and support a small business that will appreciate the business.
Dont tout online ordering to only not have it work! I have been told on 2 different occasions it would work but when I called again, I was told sorry, youll have to just wait in line anyway. Wow, brush up on those customer service skills a bit.
Poor experience after expressing food allergy to cows milk and specifically requesting soy milk 3 times, I was still given cows milk. This coffee is too expensive to get all the way home and realize you cant even drink it.
Great place and great drinks! Wonderful service!
Coffee was not good but the atmosphere was nice
Great place to shop, have amazing coffee & visit (lots of tables) w/family & friends❤
Awesome place cool experience and even better staff
Best coffee ever! Great batista! Great atmosphere to sit down and enjoy your sip. Definitely going back
Hands down the best coffee shop in Canyon country!
Its so mismatched and there isnt a flow in the establishment. It does have plenty of seating in and outdoors. The coffee is decent but they are limited on coffee pastries.
Love this place! The coffee is spot on, the baked goods are heavenly, they have the cutest inventory and the people are amazing!
I guess the coffee is alright but in the last 18 months all 3 times Ive been in they are talking about either masks or vaccines. Not the upbeat environment I hope for in a coffee shop.
This isnt grab and go coffee, or drive thru coffee, its a coffeeshop. Its a fun place to meet people. And, its in the downtown old Nampa district, which makes it a good place to start a walking adventure or meet people before going somewhere else. Its a true coffeeshop experience. There is a reason why its packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings when people want to meet friends, family and be active. There is a reason why its busy at night with people studying, chatting and working. Its a fun industrial space as its an old-time car service garage turned into a pretty big lounging area with restaurant amenities such as pastries and normal coffeeshop fare.Bring a first date if you want a non-alcohol experience. Meet friends. Bring your kids. Its culture and community. And when its warm, they have some outdoor seating that is dog friendly..Large spacious area for socialization, meeting and community. Funny and quirky gift shop. Good - legit - coffee roasters and coffeeshop coffee.Great place to study or work.
Very cute place. First time here, coffee was good but girl taking orders was rude to customers and I cant say I will be back anytime soon.
Great staff and love the mocha smoothie this time of year!
Flying M Nampa is always so consistent and so good. We absolutely love their pastries and coffee.
Super cool place with good coffee and yummy pastries! Been coming here over a decade.
Great environment and delicious cookies, but my chai latte was just ok, and a large seemed kinda small. Glad I checked it out, not sure Ill go back.
I went here one time. the coffee was good but if your a conservationist 3 dollars for a 12 oz Americano in a atmosphere of flannel wearing coffee shop lumbarjacks says elon musk can you please make a environmental friendly chainsaw idaho is in dire need of forest management . basically you wont be saving any trees here by conserving your paper. Other then that it was a strong cup of espresso water that takes the energy of a nuclear reactor to brew and lots of steam. Im Off to the old crummy to hit the corduroy roads with my grandpas old saw to do some real forest conservation. Serving a eviction notice to that squatting bark Beatle and burning their children . gawd I need a emissions free chainsaw and a therapist to learn positive coping skills in dealing with the cognitive dissonance in my piers millennials . knowledge without wisdom is the seed of ignorance. Im pretty sure it says that in the book of genesis in context . lol. All jokes aside great service good coffee. I think if flying m slapped a steam turbine and a traction motor in their espresso machine and made their table tops out of super capacitors they could probably provide energy for all of idaho 24/7 . Newtons cradle style. 🙁 hmmm.
Met a friend in DT Nampa this morning. I have always loved the Flying M in Boise and the one in Caldwell is fun too, but the Nampa shop is so big and airy with a cool and hip vibe. They are still thankfully taking COVID precautions and expect the same of customers. The coffee is great and a good value. We enjoyed a scone and a potato hashbrown type fingerfood thing with our coffees while sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine. Great location with plenty of free on-street parking. Picked up a couple of no-bake cookies for later tonight. Really, IMO, the only place to stop for coffee in Nampa.
Excellent service, excellent coffee, and awesome gifts. Some things are not the best for little ones to see but they do a good job of making sure those things are covered or higher up. We are from put of town so we love being able to support a local business!!!
Flying M is easily one of my favorite hometown coffee shops. From the chill yet energetic atmosphere/tunes to the many different areas to sit and tasty coffee and pastry selection, I love this place. On my recent visit, I had planned to do a few hours of work for my startup and upon asking for a couple wifi codes (which are good for 1 hour each), was only given one by a less than optimistic employee. While I work to understand each situation as it may be, the seating was very open and I was disappointed to only have an hour of wifi. Not long after I took my seat, Michael, one of Flying Ms other employees came up, apologized for his co-workers lack of customer service and provided me with another couple hours of wifi which absolutely redeemed the situation in my eyes. Hats off to Michael and the rest of the normally amazing staff for doing a great job serving customers such as me who love Flying M!
Super chill coffee joint with REALLY good baked goodies. Even have a Keto friendly muffin! De-lish!
Its one of the best!
One of my fav places in Nampa! Delicious Chai!
This was an interesting place to visit. Looks like the building was an auto repair shop. What would have been the office space is the coffee shop, which had other retail Americana which made me think of something similar to a Stuckeys. The garage bays have been turned into a seating area that looks as though the bay doors could still be raised in warmer weather. The staff was friendly and polite, and the selection of muffins, scones, croissants, cookies, and other traditional coffee shop goodies was nothing short of amazing. The prices were a touch steep, but still less than Starbucks on average. I ordered a no bake cookie and a pinepple-zucchini muffin, both excellent. All in all, a place deserving of the four star rating, and while its not someplace I would go every day, thats more a function of the distance to Nampa than anything wrong with the store.
Pick up chicken sandwich!! Its good!
It is simply the best place in Nampa Downtown for study - business meeting - date night or chilling evening. Coffee, hot chocolate, desserts, plenty of seats, variety of themes and decorations will capture your heart. Also while you wait for order you can look for unique souvenirs on reasonable price.
Love this place. All of the locations are awesome. Delicious coffee, tasty snacks, cute and fun gifts, friendly staff.
Delicious cinnamon buns, salted caramel rice crispie treats, and snickerdoodle cookies, baked fresh every morning. The coffee is fine, but the baked goods are where they shine. Helpful staff. We will definitely come back!
If youre a fan of alternative or atmospheric environments with all kinds of people mixed together in one place flying M coffee garage is for you. This coffee shop offers a large variety of coffee and other drinks. They roast their beans literally 20 yards from where they make your drink and they are big supporters of their community and always have events and other things going on. Concerts for local and some bigger name bands also take place here and the venue changes from a place to relax and meet up to a place of music and good vibes. Its got its hipster vibes as well but really anyone can enjoy their time here. With board games to play. Lots of outlets and space to spread out. The flying M garage is a great place to get a feel for what downtown Nampa is all about and a great venue to go by yourself or with a group of people.I love it here and wish it was closer since its one of the only coffee shops that stays open late which is great for college students. But Im pretty sure if you check it out. You wont be disappointed.-CupOJoe
Great guys.
Always great! 😉
Enjoyed the open atmosphere.. Coffee was wonderful
Staff was very nice and helpful. Cold brew and iced latte were delicious and the salted caramel rice krispie treat was amazing! The gift shop looked fun but unfortunately it was closed due to the pandemic. We will definitely be back!!
Nice clean place, with vivid precautions in place. On modified hours so call before you leave later in the evening
Cool staff, cool stuff, GREAT coffee and Espresso drinks. Fun atmosphere and just a perfect place to hang out and have an espresso on the patio.Oh, and the cookies 🤤
Love Flying M! They continue to find creative ways to make our favorites available and make us feel welcome while providing for our safety. Please support this vital and essential business in downtown Nampa!!
Such a fun place! Offering GF, Vegan and nut free treats (possibly keto for some ppl but they put hashbrowns in the egg frittata). Lots of teas and fancy coffee drink options or just plain medium or dark roast. Cool garage seating area with roll up doors weather permitting, (previously a a Firestone tire shop). Lots of wacky wares for sale. Never seen a place like it!
Flying M is a wonderful and very peaceful place to set back and relax and have a warm cup of coffee or tea. In addition, small delicious snack are also offered when needed. The staff is wonderful and very friendly too and Trivia Tuesday night is great.😎😀
Interesting place! Its in a nice location and the overall concept is nice, but almost ever in their shop is priced $10 more than it should be, and all the employees, except one, werent very friendly. Ive seen a lot of novelty shops and place that sell novelty items, and none of them are as overpriced, even in notoriously expensive cities like Portland and San Francisco, as this one. The coffee was so-so and the tables looked like they needed a good scrubbing. It gets 3 stars because the atmosphere is nice, and the pastry I got was good. I might try trivia night sometime.
Best latte in town, by far! Great people, atmosphere, and drinks.
Yet to imbibe the goodies but did step in and look a bit during outside market sale. Place is amazing and comfortable with plenty to gawk and purchase. I will venture the coffees and teas are excellent given the solid reputation and frequent community based activities. Trivia night would be fun to step in and learn a bit while coffering. Oh and the place smells amazing 😃
Such a cute venue and friendly staff... But we got back on the freeway to discover that my iced tea was two tea bags in ice water, and his Americano, 2/3 full, was 1/3 cream -- bad news for a lactose intolerant, black coffee guy on a long road trip. Visit, but be extra clear with what you want, keep a weather eye, and check while still in the shop.
Wonderful employees. Delicious pastries and tea.
Received very poor treatment and customer service. Pastries were good, but that does not make up for disrespectful staff.
Great treats and coffee.
Lots of parking, wide open dining area, and an excellent shop up front
So happy theyve found a way to safely open the dining room! It was nice to be back, Ive missed having that spot as an oasis in my work day!
Hands down, my favorite coffee shop. I love coming to this place to work on school work, as there is plenty of seating. They also have the BEST oatmilk latte, ever. Their quirky gifts are always a joy to browse as well.
Ive spent many hours studying here. They have great coffee and a good selection of snacks and pastries. They have a lot of space for people who need to set up for a few hours or for people who just want to meet with some friends. The internet works well, Ive never had any issues. They also have a lot of random gifts that are fun to look at when you need a study break.
I enjoyed the food and drink and atmosphere.
Wonderful coffee roasted here!
Great coffee and food as always plus a lot of great items like funny socks and 5hings like that
One of my favorite spots in Nampa. Great coffee! Atmosphere is great to chill or meet people and they have an incredible pastry selection. It’s a must visit.
Fun place to have a drink. Great iced coffee. Large sitting area. Fun and unique place to get gifts. Great meeting place if you dont need a separate room. I will be back!
Love spending time at The Flying M. Nice relaxing area & their food/drinks are delicious! Their gifts section is creative & funny. Every employee is nice & professional & they have so far never gotten my drinks wrong/burnt. Highly recommended
Always a great experience. Greatest place for gifts too! Years ago I bought my son a Jesus action figure there; who has one of those? Tonight a friend and I went there on a mission for another unique gift. The Flying M is more than delicious coffee, its a great idea!
Always good coffee!
Always good service and food. Disability friendly. And options for food restricted diets.
Coffee could be a little stronger, but I love their little shop for eccentric type gifts--especially the socks! Their croissants are heavenly too. Love to sit on their couches and just relax with a cup.
I love this place! The coffee is outstanding and their cookies and pastries are scrumptious. There is plenty of room to visit with friends in this roomy eclectic atmosphere. One of my favorite places.
Closed. This place is always very busy. Good service, good coffee good vibes.
A very chill place to drink coffee and work on school work.
Coolest coffee shop in town!
Its a great place with a cozy atmosphere, I love how they have a gift shop with cute little magnets. Their coffee and pastries are delicious, they have kind employees and the business is quick. It is a great place to meet up with friends and study. Though they may be a little pricey, it is worth the cost.
Its not difficult to be the best coffee place in Nampa. However, this is one of the best in all Idaho. Most Boise coffee shops dont compare. For some reason, this Flying M has much better coffee than its sister stores in Boise and Caldwell. Mystery. It is fun, yummy, and nice and dark. Sometimes really busy and noisy and feels like its a celebration. Just adds to its variety. This is more than a coffee shop. Its a live organism exploding with coffee bean goodness.
