We purchased kitchen appliances and washer and dryers. Elisabeth put together many options for us and discussed all the pros and cons of each. She was very patient and managed our expectations regarding delivery……since supply is down and demand is up.!

My experience ordering a new oven and microwave from Kam Appliances in Nantucket was 5 stars from the get go. Elisabeth at the Nantucket store was extremely helpful in helping select the appliances and followed up with me promptly as to availability and delivery dates. Delivery was exactly when promised and I was updated frequently as to when the truck would arrive. The gentlemen who delivered were great and took great care to protect my floors and walls as it was a challenging 2nd floor installation! A separate person, an expert in installing above the range microwaves, also came promptly. He was able to move a floor plug that was obstructing the oven drawer and he even fixed a cabinet hinge that I have been struggling with! A great company with great workers!

Ruined my newly refinished floors. If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a $12,000 Sub Zero fridge, told the installer and sales rep that the line to the ice maker needed to be replaced. They hooked it up to the old one anyway and ruined my just refinished floor. When I called to report the leak, the original installer looked up my phone number and called screaming at me. KAM said they put me on the schedule to reinstall then took me off the schedule without telling me. Now they say it isnt their fault and wont come out until I fix it.

I worked with Rick in the Nantucket office. He was always available when I called and very responsive to any request I had. I was coordinating between our architect and builder which involved a few emails and exchanges to make sure the appliances worked with our project. Rick was very hopeful throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend KAM.

It’s a tough time to buy quality appliances...well, heck, ANY appliances on an island during an economic shutdown. However, after striking out (from Marine (local) to Home Depot & Lowe’s) my friend suggested Kam Appliances. Kind, Efficient, great prices AND the Bosch dishwasher I wanted shipped within just a few days! What more can I say? They’ve hooked me from here on out. If you can sell in a pandemic, it’s gotta be roses in normal times. Stay safe everyone & be mindful of those around you too!
