Love the beer selection they have as well as the friendly the staff that work here. The food is good pub food and they had a great Oktoberfest selection. Reasonable prices and would highly recommend for beer enthusiasts looking for a great selection to drink onsite and to take home.

Beer is good, staff is very friendly and attentive. Just don’t order a pizza. I would consider it cruel and unusual punishment to serve this in prison.

The atmosphere was pretty cool, the staff was super nice and the beer menu was impressive. Unfortunately you need a few beers before you can appreciate the food. The pizza was made on some kind of prefab wafer thing, the chicken tenders were cafeteria quality at best and most of what we ordered had been over cooked.

Hands down still the best regional place to go for craft beer. Large selection of taps which is rarely the same week to week. Something fir everyones palate and preference.

If you are in the area, Growler and Gill is a Must Go To place for any serious beer enthusiasts. The beer selection is enormous both from the tap and by the bottle. And Hey, even if you arent into beer, they have delicious wings and the pub food selection is great as well. They need better Brats! But I wont hold it against them. LOL Id give the place a 6, if I could. The staff are friendly and owner is a great guy. Everyone is very down to earth and helpful. Wanted to get some craft beer without getting a crazy amount. I called Growler and Gill to find out about ordering beer and was able to easily place an order over the phone and pick up curbside (in my car) shortly after. I called upon arrival, they came out to my car with the beer, and took my card for payment.I was very pleased with their selection, buying a two cans of Orange Cherry Cinnamon Roll JREAM from Burley Oak, a DDH King Sue from Toppling Goliath, and two cans of Black Acres from Drowned Lands. If youre looking for a small craft beer shop in the Lower Hudson Valley, Growler & Gill is the place to go!

Friendly craft beer bar, with great food and two dozen taps available. There is a wall of beer in bottles and cans, and many imported varieties. Plenty of seating and a nice pub menu if youre in need of a snack. There is also a fair wine selection if not everyone in your party wants to have a beer.

This place is great! So many different choices if you want bottled beer to go, and over a dozen (maybe 2 dozen?) craft beers on tap. You can order food too, and they have board games you can play while youre there.

Great selection of cans and drafts. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Have only bought cans since quarantine, but when we dined in previously the food was delicious.

Friendly atmosphere, awesome choice of beer and excellent food make this a must go place. My wife and I go here at least one a week. Music some nights, trivia too and free treating events just to name a few more reasons to go. When the weather is warm theres an outside seating area (weve even brought our dogs outside) with a TV as well. Come with a designated driver or use Uber though! My favorite place to go in the area for sure.

The service is good. They are very friendly. The beer selection is outstanding, it has literally any beer type that you can think of... and wine and cider to boot. They also sell beer to go, if you really enjoyed something, you can get a repeat at home... since they close at 11pm, it will be a perfect nightcap.

We went down for a fundraiser. The food was good, they had plenty of drink options. It was small and for the size of the crowd we had it was very cramped. The staff did a great job though accommodating everyone and keeping up with food and drink orders. We would go again.

This place was fantastic. The crowd was good. There was a variety spaces to hang out with friends. They had a great selection of beers! I cant walt to go back.

Burger was decent, the fries werent all that good. I was rushed out because I came in by myself. No real service to speak of. Prices were pretty high for what you get. I paid 31.xx for a burger and 2 beers. Only to be rushed out because they were busy. Note to self, dont go here alone unless you want to be ignored by the wait staff and then all but asked to leave when youre halfway through a beer. I also tried to pick the smallest table in the place to be nice. I went here based on the reviews, but was sadly disappointed.

Fun place to stop if traveling through the area. Not too far off of I-287. Great beer selection on tap. Good burgers. Friendly service. Parking was free but a little tricky if you miss the turn off of Rt. 59. Easy to miss.

24 taps of great beer. Very generous in allowing tasters to see what you may like. Also offer 4 or 6 beer flights, 8oz or 16 oz pours, growler fills of course. Fantastic selection of bottles and cans to purchase to go. Tremendously friendly staff that is knowledgeable about the beer and will also make recommendations for local breweries to check out. Definitely a place worth checking out for beer lovers.

A nicely decorated food house that makes all the customers feel very comfortable to have foods. This place is very good for coming with friends. Their foods are fresh and healthy. Has a private parking lot, free wifi, credit card payment, etc.

I have consistently had a good experience here. The menu is decent, though not spectacular in terms of selection. It is good enough that my friends with their variety of dietary concerns can all find something to eat, though in some cases it is munchies for them, and not a full meal. That said, I have never been disappointed with what zi ordered. The real draw is of course the large beer selection. I always find something new and interesting. Often I take something home for later, which is another feature they offer. All in all, my wife and I find it a fun place for an informal date night. We also attend their trivia night now and again with friends.

Great place to get a beer and relax. Plenty to choose from and a rotating draft. If you like a bottle and want it right there and then they also have a chiller that makes beet cold in 3 minutes from room temperature. Also the food isnt amazing but its pretty good.

Interesting floor layout. Its definitely not a restaurant, its not a bar, its not a brewery and its not a beer distributor but it feels like all four of those combined. Wide selection of beers. Had the wings which were very good. Staff was nice. They have a bunch of board games to play.

Food and beer great, service needs work. Grab a beer from the large tap menu, or go to their wall of beers and grab any can or bottle and they will chill it and serve. They dont up charge the bottles much either. Decent hard cider section, but could get some better brands. Service wasnt very good. We ordered 3 appetizers and never got plates. Asked for plates, they never came. Ordered a pizza before leaving and finally got our plates. All the food was really good. We ordered the pretzels, BBQ chicken tenders, fries, and the BBQ chicken pizza.

Walked in for bottle shop. Was there at a slow time so an employee gave me full attention for over a half hour. I got to taste a couple of their twenty plus brews on tap. I then walked along the length of their bottle wall discussing the different beers, which is divided up by region. The selection is pretty nice though they told me its rotating. Overall good vibe, great service with nice selection plus all those beers on tap for which you can take home in growlers.

Visited to get some growlers. Got two flights before committing. Bartender made two mistakes while pouring. No apologies - he seemed to blame me for his mistakes and gave me an attitude. Don’t take his advice and order by tap number because he confuses the numbers too easily as opposed to paying attention to the style of beer. He spoke down to me like I couldn’t tell an IPA flight from a stout flight. Seriously?! I have eyeballs. Their regular retail side is overpriced. That bartender ruined it for me.

Friendly, welcoming place to enjoy a large, frequently changing, variety of craft brews and and related pub food. Musical entertainment is provided on same nights. We shared pretzels and a bread bowl filled with buffalo chicken followed by fish n chips, and sliders. When our meal was done we took a growler home to enjoy later. Great service, attentive but not rushed on a busy night.

I went here with a couple of my old friends to check out. I was really surprised by the extensive craft beer they had available. The person handling the beers was also extremely helpful in telling us the different flavor profiles of the beers and gave us samples of any that we wanted to taste. There are beers of all different types and styles which was great because all of us had different preferences for beer.Food was pretty good too. In the evening, they have live music, but we left before that started so I am not quite sure what that is like.

Went there last night. Great bar with tables and board games you can just pull off the shelf and play with some friends. Beer feels priced a tad high, but the environment was cool so I am still giving it 5 stars.

Growler & Gill has a great, ever-changing selection of craft beers on over 25 taps. When you first get there, belly up to the bar and ask to sample whichever beers you would like to have before enjoying a 7, 12 oz or a pint of your favorite. There is also a wide selection of card and table games available (free of charge) to play while enjoying a wide variety of brews. On the other hand, the bar food is just okay.

This is my home away from home hangout. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They give great recommendations when I cant decide between the 24 taps. My friends and I enjoy playing board games during the cold months and corn-hole in the beer garden in the summer. I really enjoy the home made dishes like the chili and pulled pork. Lately, Ive been eating the specials which keeps things fresh. If your looking for a place that you can relax and unwind, this is it!

Great draft selection. You can have a small taster of anything or everything before deciding on your purchase. Great elevated bar food as well. There is a decent selection of bottles available for purchase as well. If I lived locally Im sure I would visit often.

I really like this place. Very fun, different way of serving beer. You go up to the counter and are encouraged to sample the many different beers they have on the menu. Somewhere around 15-20 I think at any given time. When you have one or two that you like, you get a pint, goblet, sampler, etc. and take it back to your table. There are SOME food options, but nothing that incredible. Just enough to nosh while you are having a drink. There are a few dishes on the menu, so you can go for lunch/dinner, but not a ton... and could be A LOT better. If this place had a great menu, or at least if the items they did have were GREAT, Id probably live here.

The bartender was getting very upset with me because I was taking too long to decide on a beer to fill a 64 oz growler to go home with after 10 minutes of trying to decide from the large wall of beer i found something good to go home. I will never go back because of the terrible service ( bartender tall and wears a bandanna avoid)

A great place to chill, have a few good brews, and delicious pub eats. The staff was friendly, helpful, and all around exceptional. We brought a toddler with us as well and they were more than accommodating with high chairs and a kids menu. We tried the buffalo chicken dip, truffle parmesan fries, and the kids chicken fingers- all the food was delicious and well prepared. The Bavarian cream stuffed churros were out of this world delish. They also allow you to taste beers on tap before purchase! Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and enjoyable time out. Prices are reasonable and you wont regret it! Will definitely be back for more!
