Got my tattoo done with Bobby tremendous work highly recommended

I was skeptical at first, real nervous, I left happy as can be scheduling my next appointment ASAP! Josh does great work! He turned a sloppy tattoo from my youth into something I am more than proud of. The cover up/face lift he did to my leg brings a sense of happiness I cannot describe. Also, the prices are more than fair!

I got my second lobe piercing at Modern Age by Carmen, and had such a great experience. This was my first piercing at a tattoo shop with a needle, and I was very nervous. Carmen was so helpful and understanding of my nerves. Everything was clean and professionally done, even during COVID times. This is healed a month now, and perfectly normal. Will be going back for some more!

Bobby Did a Fantastic Job...

I got a cover up plus it was a difficult challenge and request for just a walk in. However, my tattoo artist Jeff pulled off a stunning and jaw dropping custom tattoo cover that ever one I know loves! I am in love with the cover up so much to! It is everything I asked for and more! Than a couple days after my Dad and I got matching tattoos done by Bobby. He worked with us to build a custom tattoo to! Both tattoos are marvelous pieces of beautiful artwork. I know they both put their heart and soul into the tattoos I got. I appreciate and respect that highly. Their prices are fair especially for the artwork or custom artwork you get on your body. I was informed about this place from family and friends. They talked highly about the tattoo artists and still appreciate the artwork they have on their body from your artist. I am glad and happy that you people live up to your reputation. I definitely will be back when I want more tattoos done. I appreciate you guys and thank you for your friendly and fun service you provide. (:

Got exactly what I wanted in a quick, no nonsense fashion. Bobby is good and fast. Clean, professional and reliable. Plenty of art on the walls if you just want something to choose from on a whim. My girlfriend has gotten 3 tats there plus my first one at that shop and they all came out great.

This was my first tattoo and it was a wonderful experience! The artist (Bobby) was friendly, funny, and obviously well experienced. Their prices were good and it was high quality. Bobby calmed my nerves and worked at a good speed. The parlor was clean, inviting and well lit (which I personally appreciated). The atmosphere was welcoming and not intimidating like many other parlors can be. I would definitely return for more in the future.

I my second tattoo done by Bobby a few years back. It’s wasn’t completely finished but the lines a clean and I always get compliments on how well it was done. Very nice and friendly.

I got piercings done here. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other places in the area. The piercer was incredibly funny, kind, and she really made me feel comfortable. She is very professional, and great at what she does. I highly recommend coming here for any piercing you might be interested in.

Whenever I called for the piercers availability the staff that answered the phone was always polite & respectful. I spoke with two different guys. I felt very uncomfortable with my interactions with the piercer. First I was asked to pay up front which I did. When we went to the back the initial needle looked like it was burned to be sterilized instead of being brand new. I asked if they reused needles she said no then got another one fresh out the pack that didn’t have that burned look at all. Then as I was asking her where she think the best spot would be for the piercing she was very dismissive and impatient saying it’s up to me. I wish I hadn’t already paid so I could just get it elsewhere. She was speaking to me like I wasn’t a paying customer and offered no advice or aftercare instructions. I asked how long should I keep in the piercing before I change it she said change it whenever I want?? Smh After the piercing was complete and I was leaving she tried to then be nice and professional saying call her if I have any questions etc I think that was her trying to make me forget our prior interactions. I would rather google or ask people with the piercing for information rather than calling her. She didn’t want to answer questions while I was sitting there so why would I bother.

They were recommended by a friend. Took the piercer a lot time to put the bead in for my outer ear piercing as well as the jewelry itself. It was one of my first so at the time I didnt think anything of it. I have had three other in this time and they have been a much easier process. They gave me a bead that was too large, probably so the piercer had an easier time putting it in, that is constantly falling out. my other earings have no problems and have been in for months.

Got my first tattoo here, although I had to wait a while it was definitely worth it! Bobby was fast but extremely efficient! I’ll definitely be going back for more!!! :)

Went there for my first tat today! The customer service is great and the art is amazing. Ive shopped around for a while and this place is by far the most comfortable and friendly. If I ever get another tat, Ill be coming here!

I am a proud repeat client ..been coming here since I was 16.. my first time was for my 16th birthday - I was getting my bellybutton repierced (I went to the city when I was 13 and changed it too quickly that the ring actually ripped out) .. I was very nervous - there was a decent amount of scar tissue but the piercer calmed all my nerves and the placement of the piercing was perfect . 10 years later and I Came back for my first tattoo in September. I went on a Saturday - a day that they only service walk ins. I waited about ten mins which I didn’t mind at all -given how busy saturdays are I had lucked out w such little to no wait time.. the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating answering all of my questions. The artist made conversation the whole time and made me feel so relaxed and put my mind at ease. He gave me detailed instructions on aftercare and told me to call should I have any questions. The tattoo healed beautifully & I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. Aside from being a clean and sterile shop-Their prices are so reasonable along with their exceptional work. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to go back and get another tattoo done there which I actually plan to do in the near future. I’ve recommended modern age to numerous friends and I’m VERY excited to go back! *I also wanted to add that not one staff member there is racist AT ALL. (I am of Spanish decent..my friend who accompanied me for my first tattoo is Spanish as well and has also gotten work done there multiple times)* thank you modern age! Always a pleasure :)

If I could give 0 Stars I would. This is probably the most unprofessional tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. If you’re not white and have some color on you don’t even bother stepping foot in there because they won’t help you. Bobby told myself and a friend he’d do a few tattoos for us. When it was time for me to get mine, Bobby kept making up excuses and saying his work would be distorted or I had to jump thru hoops just to get a tattoo. I WOULD NOT EVER ALLOW anyone who is not confident in their work to tattoo my body. Unsanitary. Can’t even fix the leak in the roof in the bathroom which is a health and fire hazard. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!

My husband and I have been going here for years. Jimmie is an amazing artist who is honest, funny and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to only use Modern Age and will always recommend Jimmie to our family and friends.

Jimi Arroyo is the best Tattoo Artist ever. I love his work and his sense of humor. He is very professional and it is always a plus when your Tattoo Artist is good looking and trust me, he is.

I didnt get the tattoo, but my friend did. We went with her and felt that the people working there were friendly and had a good sense of humor. All my friend had to bring was the printed picture of a specific tattoo she wanted. I recommend this place they did a good job.

I went in there to get my tattoo RECOLORED. I am a person of color, the guy at the front was not interested in helping me out AT ALL. He asked me questions that had nothing to do with my tattoo, he basically implied that the color would not be shown on my skin. When I first had my tat done the color was vibrant. You can compare my complexion to queen latifah or Oprah, and he tried to say I was too dark. Then to top it off, he said it will be 200-300 DOLLARS....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! thats how much it cost me to get it done in the first place. I will spread my experience there to everyone I know because it was NOT pleasant. I will never step foot in there EVER AGAIN.

Top of the line! Very clean, got my nose, and nipples pierved there, they are so kind! They give you info on how to care for your piercings/tattoos and everything went perfect. To the Massachusetts person; Jamie Ellen below (um your not a LOCAL guide here your a tourist) who got an earring, Im not sure why they are so bitter, as you picked out the jewelry, so you should blame yourself for not telling them which jewelry you wanted duh! Ive switched jewelry within a day of getting my septum pierced just fine (i dont recommend it when a piercing is new). (Got that back in day in NYC with large ring& wanted smaller ring in, Im sure your capable of putting your own body jewelry on, right Jamie) Piercer @Modern Age is awesome, everyone there are licensed professionals. Ive recommended to friends.Not sure why some are implying the race card smh! Im of color and they are not racist. Starr & one below are both same troll..pulling the race card b.s. No one is racist there, trust me.Im darker too and i stick to black & gray rather than color ink. So yes, depending on skin tone, color may not show well. Your saying you wanted it recolored (color fades in general & for those of us who are darker its best to stick to black & gray). What irrelevant questions did he ask? Starr, since you r sour & not knowledgeable of tattoos u wouldnt recognize relevant questions. Time, Sun fades color ink etc. I think your upset with the cost.

Walked in and was totally ignored. Asked if I needed help I said yes and waited, a white woman walked in with her daughter and the guy immediately asked her questions and told her to fill out the form. It was the guy in the front not sure if they are all racist but I am Hispanic but I do look white. I walked out.

Walked in for a quote on a tattoo seeing as how I got my first one there 10 years ago, when I finally got the older mans attention he seemed annoyed by me just walking in mind you they only had one customer there, he was really rude, so I happily left seeing as how he want to charge $300 went to Jersey got it done for half the price

Pretty upset with a tattoo I got done by the owner. It was a simple three word script tattoo. It was honestly very badly done, some of the lines are thicker and some thin despite the picture printed not looking that way at all. He assured me the size we chose would allow him to make the lines thin the way I wanted. One of the letters even has a double line and it honestly looks like a child took over and did it. This tattoo is right on my collarbone so it’s super noticeable and there’s really no way to fix it ): he just kept saying that I was swollen and that it would look fine once healed. 3 days later and it does not look any better. He was unsure how to even download the font I wanted, did not wear gloves when giving me the tattoo and did not seem confident at all while doing it. I would not come back here. Maybe he was having an off day but this is something that is now on my body permanently. Only giving 2 stars because he was nice enough.
