I’m guessing the owner did my appointment. Very rushed showed me dresses far over budget and pushed styles I specifically stated I did not want. She put a dress far to small on me n said if it rips it’s mine. What should’ve been a great experience and was miserable. And the high price dresses were all dirty

Alluring Brides was the second place I went to look for my wedding dress. From the moment I walked in the door, Suzanne made me feel special. I showed her pictures of what I liked, she pulled a few along with my mother in law. She did not let me try any on that were outside my budget. I did not feel pressure with her and the one on one was the best. I would definitely recommend dress shopping at Alluring bridals.

It is very clean and neat and exactly the kind of place I pictured in my head when I thought of the place that I was going to buy my dress.My favorite thing about Alluring Brides, besides the staff, was how intimate and personal your appointment is. It is all about you and it makes the process so smooth. The staff from the minute you walk in the door was very personable. They make you feel comfortable and dont waste any time getting you into dresses. The staff was mindful of my budget as well.When you try on a dress, the way they lay it out and turn the dress lets you, and those you bring, see every angle of the dress. There are plenty of mirrors as well which the first place I went to did not have such luxury in your personal section.Overall, I highly recommend Alluring Brides to anyone in search of a wedding dress, or even bridesmaid dresses! Suzanne was extremely kind and accommodating. My mother had been to 15 other places and tried on over 100 dresses. The very first dress she tried on at this bridal salon was the one she decided to buy. Inventory is impressive, prices very reasonable, and customer service personal and productive. Very happy!!!

I had my entire (huge) family there for my consultation and they were very welcoming to my situation. I felt like Suzanne really listened to my likes and dislikes and didnt push anything on me. They had the designer I was hoping for and I said yes to the dress! I would recommend this bridal boutique to any bride who wants a more personal,1 on 1 experience. It was great :)

Great experience at Alluring Brides! Suzanne is not only extremely knowledgeable, but she makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door. There was a wide variety of selections, and a lot of beautiful accessories. A must visit if you are in need of bridal/ evening/ or prom!

I wish I could give Suzanne and her store more than 5 stars. She is amazing. Two years in a row I bought my daughters prom dresses there. Last year was for Junior Prom and then we went shopping for her Senior Prom this year. Suzanne had ordered in a dress she thought would be perfect for my daughter and she was right. Her guidance for what shoes, to what tux colors, jewelry and even a suggestion on where to get her hair done where all perfect. I believe my daughter had Suzanne on speed dial.The day we found the prom dress was the day we went for a Bridal trunk show and Suzanne knew exactly what I would be looking for and I found the perfect wedding dress for myself.The sad part is we are done with proms and will miss spending the spring with Suzanne, but we still have all the wedding fun to look forward towards.

I showed them print outs of what I was looking for and they matched me with a few beautiful dresses that fit my style, shape, and budget. I had the most wonderful experience with buying my prom dress here! Everywhere else I went was too stressful, and I did not receive anywhere near the attention and care that I did while at Alluring Brides. All the girls are so incredibly sweet; I never felt that I had to worry about a thing. I will definitely recommend their store to others, and I will be returning back if I ever need anther dress for a formal event. Love!!

Let me just start by saying if you want to purchase a wedding dress, go here. I had the most wonderful experience. I dont even know where to start! Alluring Brides (particularly Suzanne) has the most personalized experience with one bride at a time so you can have the place to yourself and your girls for the appointment. And the variety of dresses is to die for! I said yes to the dress here and Suzanne made it so exciting.

I bought my wedding dress from Alluring Brides and the experience was great! I spent an hour with the bridal attendant trying on over 10 gowns and ended up finding/ buying the one I loved! Im so excited for my dress to come in in May!

I got married last year Oct. 2015. I absolutely recommend this place for any of your special occasions. Everyone was so nice and helped me pick out the most beautiful wedding dress. I was stunning on my wedding day. Also if you buy your dress here definitely use their people to get fitted and any nessary alterations that may have to be done. My dress fit me perfectly. The dresses are beautiful, however, Im one week away from my wedding and overall, disgusted with the business as a whole. They use a seamstress, who is a doll (extremely sweet and I would give her 5 stars if not associated with this place) and when your dress comes in you must immediately pick it up (aka pay them their second half of the money) and take it home and store it until it needs to be taken to the seamstresses home. When I got fitted, the seamstress said she needed to check with the shop owner for a price. Ok. I hear nothing so I call the shop owner who prices my alterations at over $450. i didnt have my dress hemmed. I had cups (they cost 19.99) stitched on, and the dress taken in about an inch. When I questioned this price I got the run around. Mind you, my two sisters had used this same shop and seamstress and were charged FAR LESS for hemming, a belt sewn on, straps taken in, etc. She told me because I had it hemmed and the straps taken in, this is why the price was higher....and thats when I knew she never got the price from the seamstress but rather just tried to overcharge me. I have a strapless dress and the length was perfect and didnt need to be touched. So basically, heres what I realized. Any normal bride would have just paid this price not knowing what alterations typically cost. As for me, I wasnt allowing that. Honestly, I would never recommend someone here for the headache alone. Again, the dresses are beautiful but having to pay for your dress immediately when it comes in, lugging it from the shop to home back to the seamstress and back home, and the scam costs for alterations....no thanks. Not worth it to me.

There was such a wide selection of styles, cuts, and price ranges. She worked with our budget and I found the dress of my dreams! 110% recommend Alluring Brides of New York!

I bought a Bridesmaid Dress here this year...the 5th wedding Ive been in.My friend picked a GORGEOUS Bridesmaids dress. I thought this would be great, though I was wrong.This shop was the WORST experience I have had being a Bridesmaid, (and Ive been Maid of Honor twice!)!Susan seems nice at first, but she is condescending and rude. I was measured by Susan & by my measurements, I should have received a size 8 dress. She ordered a size 12! All the Bridesmaids dresses were at least 2 sizes too big. It was a poor attempt to make extra money off all the girls from alterations. No apologies from Susan. She attempted to ask everyone if we had lost weight since the fitting...come on ladies, wouldnt happen with SEVEN girls.I was also over charged for the hem. I was extremely disappointed with my experience in this store, most of all with Susan.Terrible customer service! I would never return!

This was my first time buying a wedding dress and let me tell you, I feel like im part of the family because of how amazing I felt at the appointment. Suzanne was attentive, sweet, kind, funny, instructional, etc. I dont know how anyone could NOT love this woman, the wonderful young woman who helped dress me, and the salon and inventory overall. I walked out with an amazing deal on my head piece and the dress of my dreams. After the appointment, we made an appointment with her seamstress, and im looking forward to the big day! Had kind of a disaster here. I was overcharged for my dress and they informed the bride, not me, of their mistake. I did get a refund but had to ask for it. And the night before the wedding I asked the other bridesmaids if they were wearing shawls and was informed that all of their dresses came with them. Mine didnt (it was the same dress). There were other issues with the brides dress and alterations, but the fact that they left out an entire aspect of my dress is pretty appalling.

The woman is a rude misery. Even with a way ahead set up appointment she yells at you to wait in the car. There was a bigger bridal party there before us and that’s all she cared about. My daughter in law bought a $2,000 dress and was treated very badly. The owner then even tried to rip us off on the accessories and especially on the alterations which can be done much much cheaper by going straight directly toBestina tailor in a private house right in the neighborhood. It’s unfortunate because Alluring dies have gorgeous dresses but her husband jeweler owns the building and they think who they are. AVOID unless you want to end up crying in the car like me!

Worst experience! I went to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress and the owner measured me and the rest of the bridesmaids. She advised us that she measures everyone to ensure everyone is correctly measured. When our dresses came in our bride picked them up and gave them to everyone. I tried dress on and it seemed I just needed the top fixed. This became an issue when fixing the top of the dress made the long gown even shorter on me. When I called her to ask if she ordered my longer (since I am 57) she advised me she did. She was rude and put the blame on ME, the customer. She told me to just wear a flat shoe. I explained the dress has a slit in the front and flats would not look good. She said well i dont handle bridesmaid dresses anymore so this is not my problem. She proceeded to be rude and then HUNG UP ON ME!! What type of owner treats a customer that way?? STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment on a Saturday to get measured for my bridesmaid gown. The minute I walked in I was super rushed and they seemed as though they had no time for me. She measured me and used my measurements against a chart and ordered my gown a size bigger. It was absolutely huge. When i questioned as to why they ordered me a larger size they said because of my hips. This is a loose, flowy gown therefore it shouldnt have anything to do with my hip measurements. When I tried to pick up the gown I called and left messages for a week straight and not one person returned my phonecall. Finally I just showed up to pick up the gown and no one was there at 1:00pm on a Friday afternoon even though their hours say they open at 10:00am. They definitely ordered the bigger size gown hoping I would use them for the alterations.

Alluring Brides was my first experience shopping for a wedding gown. I chose them since they are conveniently located in the same building as Mamari Jewlers, who recommended them to me. I never thought I would pick my dress the first search, let alone the first one I tired on, but that is what wound up happening. The owner, Suzanne, had a beautiful selection of dresses and the best part is how affordable they were! Since my fiancé had purchased my engagement ring from Mamrai she even extended a discount on the dress. I look forward to my upcoming dress fittings and will definitely be taking my wedding party there to look for their dresses.

*** sadly, i have to edit my review. At my first appointment I thought I found the dress. I was told long sleeves could be added so I ordered it. As i state in my first review, I have insecurities and my arms are one of them. She even asked me why I dont get the surgery to correct what Im insecure about which is my arms, so clearly she paid attention. She showed me what cap sleeves would look like and I said No, full sleeves. We all (sister, mom, mother in law) made a point to say I want full sleeves. Future mother in law comments how I could even add buttons to the wrists of the sleeve. The consultant heard it all. I went back and looked at photos of me in the dress but was unsure. I had the opportunity to change my mind ONLY because they made a 2nd appointment with the owner because the 1st consultant was unsure of what size to order with my measurements. So I go back and try more dresses on and ended up with one I loved- thank God because my 1st dress choice low and behold, owner said probably cant order extra lace to add sleeves. I pick another one out $500 more than my 1st,was told an extra yard of lace would be ordered for sleeves.My friend was with me and I described my vision for my sleeves to her in front of Susanne, I even asked if I could order extra buttons to go down the wrist and she said seamstresses have those. I go for my fitting last month and the lace they pulled out was TRIM lace. This was thick enough to be a strap not a sleeve. They try to tell me They thought i wanted to add draped sleeves on just my upper arm. If this were the case WHY did I talk about buttons on my wrist and drive home LONG sleeves. They say ok we will fix it and send you the correct lace in the mail because i was moving out of Ny that weekend. I get the lace in the mail and its 2 small pieces of what i did ask for with a note that says a full yard of what I need wouldnt come in time and the note said (obviously) it woudlnt be full sleeves. I texted her and told her i was disappointed on 5/12. She said she would have the seamstress remove lace from the sample gown for me. On 5/24 I texted her to ask when it would be sent to me... her response was she would take it to the seamstress tomorrow. So 13 days after she said she would do This, it would get done. My alterations appt was Friday the 26. I think 2 weeks is more than enough time when she knew my wedding date and this needed to be done fast. With the lace i have in order to make sleeves they have to cut it apart and apply it to another material and it will be nowhere what I had dreamed of. I have to have off the shoulder half sleeves and what i was sent is just enough for the sleeve not for the back to attach the sleeves. They have to get started right away as my wedding is July 8. I have an alterations appt every Friday in june and Im just not excited for the final outcome. I paid well over 2,000 for my dress and now in order to have the sleeves made my alterations are $800 because they have to piece it together. I could go to davids bridal to get an already made long sleeve dress for the cost of alterations. I did the math on the reciept from the alterations lady i chose and it would have been $250 without this disaster. I am sorry I referred 6 other brides here.My original review:So far, I love this place. They were able to squeeze me in last minute while my future mother in law was in town. Not only that, she listened to what I wanted including my insecurities. Im a plus size woman who also lost a lot of weight, so being in a fitting room with someone else is my worst nightmare, so dress shopping was a scary thought. I had been to one shop before this and thought I knew what dress I was going to get from the other place. Nope! I tried on a ton and I immediately had to say yes to the one dress that literally had everything I wanted. I felt confident and comfortable and yes, the happy tears were there. Im so glad I cancelled my 2nd appointment at the other place and came to Alluring instead.

It is an allure couture dress with Swarovski crystals and an organza ruffle bottom. Firstly, I am very very happy with the price of the dress and secondly she waived the tax since I paid cash. Next, Suzanne, the owner is just the sweetest, patient and friendliest person. She has an eye for what you look great in and doesnt care about the time you spend there trying things on. You can try as many dresses as you want. Ana, the dress helper, helps you into and out of the dresses as well as adjusts them for you. She is also very friendly and very nice. I brought four girls with me including my sisters newborn and they accommodated us immediately. Suzanne is a fashionista and knew what styles I was looking for as soon as I described my ideas to her. She has dresses ranging from 800 to over 5000 in price. I loved the way she had samples that actually fit a normal sized woman.. (size 8-10) Most places I went too didnt have dresses that fit me because all were size 6 and below in sample size, however, Alluring brides had so many dresses I fit into and even larger. (for the big and beautiful women) Again, I paid half when I ordered the dress and the other half when it comes in, within a few months. This is great because I didnt have to dish out so much money at once. I am very happy with the dress I chose and cant wait for it to come in so I can go see it and put it on and accessorize. She sells gorgeous head pieces, veils and shoes. She also has many many formal gowns for bridesmaids,galas, evening events and even mother of the bride, etc. Again, I will not say anything else about Alluring brides, just make an appointment and go see for yourself... I am sure you will find THE dress here...

Very annoyed that the website says opens at 11 am. And i arrive here and wait to find out from someone in the parking lot that they are by appoinment only.

Just because I had to choose a star ... this place is horrible ... my daughters bridemaid got their dresses from here ... all of them had problem with the alterations ... never recommend!!!!!
