Huge market with lots of space inside.The variety is big enough to find everything you need.There is place to eat inside and prepared food for it.The interior is clean and well maintained and organized.Parking lot is big enough.

Very good supermarket. They have excellent selections of organic foods, great coffee and cheese sections. But the prices can be very high.

Great cheese selection and olive oils! I love to try them and bring a new one home every couple of weeks. Fish its great!But the best is all the vegetables and fruits they have. I take my kids here to see everything and each time we go they can choose one or two new fruits to try

Love fairway! Their produce selection and quality is unparalleled. Their baked goods are pure heaven - my favorites are their fresh bagels and their chocolate chip cookies (big plus - all of their baked goods are kosher!). They are my go-to spot for exotic/unusual ingredients. They are more expensive than other grocery stores in the area, but for things like ripe avocados (which can be so hard to find in the off season) or ghee it is so worth it!

Once my favorite spot to get cheese in the area. Now this place seems to be slacking. Many of the unrefrigerated cheeses seem to have severe mold issues. (I love moldy cheeses, but only the good kind of mold)The picture doesnt highlight the worst of the mold, either. It was pretty much all of the cheeses.This disappoints me because the cheeses left unrefrigerated are usually the seasonal import cheeses which are from my home country.

I typically make my pilgrimage here responding to one or more advertised and featured circular items. Its not unusual for, in particular, the meat department, not pack out the advertised item and I often have to make a special request for it.Today for instance the employee working the counter could not negotiate the English language well enough to understand that the shelf was devoid of the top round I came in for. Could not comprehend my request to look in the back for more, and then, as was my perception, was offering me a prime version of the cut for the same price as a substitute. Um, negative at this time; apparently not his intention. I request the butcher; he no here, no here.. Where is he? He no here mista Request the store manager; the butcher shows up in lieu. Counter person tells butcher; he no understand Me! Me? no understand? I explain to the butcher what I came in for, he swings into the back and instantly presents a full tray of the elusive item.Honestly this is one of many encounters where the planets dont align with the stars. I could go on but you have other things to do.Dont anticipate to be treated with Trader Joe happiness and exhilaration here, and bring an interpreter with you.

Love This Place! A little pricey to do my normal food shopping, but when Im looking to splurge a little bit, this is the place to do it. Meats are fantastic. Coffee selection is awesome. Hot food area is also very good and varied.

Couldnt find my favorite BACHELOR BEANS from Ireland in my local markets or GRAPE TICKLE WATER. Fairway carries both, and products you dont yet, that you would want😃. They have a wonderful variety of brands and international products. The store is neatly organized and you will find items that you will excitedly want to try. Walked in for a can of beans and 10 full shopping bags later, took photos of products Id like to return for in my next visit. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Try out my favs: Bachelor Beans and Grape Tickle Water😃

Decent spot with a good selection of products. The beer section was especially impressive. What wasnt impressive was the prices, which were way up on the high end. I found the place to be a bit unkempt/messy. The hot buffet was a bit neglected looking and the seating was too. The food was delicious though.

The food court used to be the best part of coming here. They have since changed it drastically. The store is overall expensive, it is clean and the bakery is very good. They sometimes have good deals on steaks.

Nice supermarket, great selection of produce and they have items that are hard to find elsewhere. They also have an awesome beer selection. They are pretty pricey though. I will come here when I want to find something different but I would not shop here weekly.

My son and I love their fresh cider donuts and the make your own 6pk for 10 is a great deal but many of the local food like the fresh milk in the glass jar is missed their hot buffet and sushi dont disappoint

You pay a bit more for a much more upscale / unique supermarket. even an individual coffee person to help with fresh bean selection. well worth supporting a store like this to me.

Went in at 915pm. They were already making announcements the store was closing at 10pm. Waited on line with two small items from managers special cart. When the cashier got to me, she said she was closed. I said, you cant take 2 small items?.she said if she took me, shed have to take everyone behind me. The 3 minutes it took her to argue, she could have run us up. In the meantime I asked if the one item was reduced, as it was in that special reduced cart, and I was told flat out no, those prices are all regular. I tossed them off to the side, went home and ordered the one item on Amazon, full price. I dont need attitude from employees at Fairway. They think they are some hotshot Beverly Hills store, and all they are is an overpriced fancy pants warehouse. I wouldnt give that store the time of day. They filed bankruptcy once, and I give them another 6 months to a year, and they will be one more vacancy in the deadbeat Shoppes at Nanuet Mall!

This was my first time here, but it seems really nice. They have lots of samples and lots of premium products at prices much lower than most stores. There is a huge gourmet cheese section, premium olives and coffee. The produce looked fresh. It is also not an overwhelmingly huge store.

Maybe its just the appearance but everything here looks good and fresh! A huge selection of fruits and veggies of all sorts from all corners of the world. May not be the cheapest all the time but definitely quality stuff. Love the assortment of cheeses and coffees and the variety at the deli and butcher shop is first rate. You can even grab some prepared food and sit at their food court while you shop (try the Pernil!). The staff is courteous and helpful and it has a different feel than your average supermarket. Definitely worth a visit!

Fabulous selection!! Love the Fairway olive oils! Great selection of breads and cheeses and coffees. Only problem is its sometimes hard to find things because the store is so big.

There is always something interesting and/or unusual to be discovered at Fairway. My personal favorite is its elephant ears (aka angel wings) pastry. Terrific beer selection too! Plenty of parking.

Nice store, well maintained... but prices are quite high. I get what it is supposed to be, but not sure its my type of supermarket. Very nice coffee selection, spices, etc. A nice place to go if quality is your utmost concern and/or are looking for that hard to find brand... or just dont want the normal brands.

Tyshawn at the cafe is great. The background music is great too, not dull and boring like other stores.I wish people wouldnt have to go up to the register to pay a cup of coffee first.

Produce section is always a good selection, it’s a level down from Whole Foods in my opinion just with the same high cost at check out. Friendly staff always clean lots of parking available.

Very affordable prices. Huge produce selection. I picked up 10 humongous pomegranates for $2 each. Unheard of prices. The hot food bar boasts a huge selection of mouthwatering food, from steak to salmon to veggies and everything in between.

On Friday, 20 September, I walked in the Fairway and did not see the grape on the floor. Needlessly to say, I stepped on the grape, slipped and fell. When I reported the incident, management did little to address my injury. Only when I called the police, did management take the issue seriously. The fall resulted in me injuring my back. As I reported this to management, management said to me that I did not fall. When I pointed out the ceiling camera and slippage on the floor, only then did management acknowledge that I fell. I asked for documentation and that was denied. I had the police called and ambulance called to the store.

Great place. They have a place for cooked food as well as everything you can want. For the hard to find to everyday items. Prices very reasonable and plenty of parking.

I shop strictly ORGANIC. Fairway is the store I use for all my needs. They used to keep all the Organics together ...BUT recently they decided to mix the Organics in with the Conventional food. Now I have to shop the entire store in order to find what I used to find in just 4 aisles. Finding the Organic products now takes me twice as long as it used to.Last year I would have rated Fairway =5 Stars...But THIS YEAR!?...3 stars.🙁Im very disappointed!

Many items can be expensive, but the coffee is excellent and very inexpensive for a basic Italian Roast. Also very good beer selection. Watch for their specials - they can have some good deals too, but wouldnt go here for all my shopping. because of price.

Very very helpful employees. The store is way too cold for comfort. There should be a better system for finding your selections, ailes are numbered but somehow it is a tad confusing.

The prices are a bit high, but many of their items are of higher quality. I wouldnt by regular grocery items there but their meets and cheeses are great. Oh and they have the best bagels.

Overpriced, really not that good, and put simply, I just wasnt THAT impressed. The lady behind the deli counter was a bit argumentative in my opinion. The man behind the cheese counter (theu have a decent selection, by the way) was a bit intrusive after my polite way of saying, No thanks.I thought the meat selection was weak at best, which was surprising because I have been to other Fairway Markets and they were all equally pricey, but the selection was top-notch.Im not going back

Pricey, not really worth it for me. Almost like an imitation Whole Foods (same pricing minus the quality). They do have a nice selection of products that you cant get from your local market or basic ShopRite/StopnShop so for certain items it is worth it.

I love it here.. but I would appreciate a faster check out process. Tonight there were 13 ppl in line and only one cashier. Frustrating way to end a lovely shopping experience.

Deli was insane, 10 or 12 people waiting on line 1 person working, I walked out and went to the other supermarket across the street. Its a shame too because fairway is usually much much better than this.

Bought meat from here twice and it was spoiled very horrible smelled so bad, then I got pkg mix fruit ready made and it’s always spoiled or about to spoiled, food is not fresh going out of date or expired, this needs to be worked on it happened on many occasions. The tea selection, cheese and bread/bake good are nice but they need to work on removing out of date food not leaving on the shelf in front for customers to take first.

We bought meat there yesterday and noticed how bad it was once we got home. The butcher had cut it for us too since we needed a larger portion than what was on the shelves. It smells so bad, rancid! Yuck. The sell by date is 8/16. I don’t know if I’ll ever shop there again. I see other reviews on Fairway Nanuet about bad meat and moldy cheese. Nasty!

A high-end Supermarket with with medium to high prices. Lots of homemade goodies fresh bread, pasta cheese, olives, Seafood, steaks, Etc.

On September 23 I attempted to buy my groceriesfrom Fairway thru Instacard and the supermarket was out of essentials:eggs, buttermilk, low selection of pork meat, muffins, crackers, cold cuts, cheese spreads. I had to cancel my order do to lack ofselections

If you want get in and out... impossible because only one entrance and exit. So if you park closer to one door you way not get in unless someone is walking out and it is ridiculous to have to walk there most of the store just to get something quick.

My first experience at this fairway. Nice looking store but the front end area seemed to be a complete disaster. Immature front end manager loudly yelling at cashiers and closing registers with customers already waiting in line. They need self check out.

Quality of Fairway has dropped remarkably since it first opened. Last time I bought chicken wings, they still had a large of feathers in it. Produce was also not fresh at all.

Wouldve given 4 stars but hot buffet area nothing to rave about and so 3 stars. Good selection on grocery items though.

This was a very nice supermarket with a lot of organic and regular selections. They had a good variety of products and even a Salad bar, Hot dishes bar, and Sushi selection.

Great market! Lots of food choice in variety and the dine in food buffet is also very good! Its definetely bigger than the one in Fashion Center in Paramus. Not to mention, its better too since it has a seating area for dining.

Have u ever eaten pecan pie there .its worst I have tasted it. The best was Sams club pecan pie worth it cost was so good

There is literally no one at your salad bar ever and it makes me so upset. then when i tell someone they show up 15 minutes later. i mean like store completely empty but no one there to help. it’s not like your busy smh. otherwise very clean and i love buying my fruits and veggies here.

Upscale super market. The prime beef is amazing. Love the stuffed clams in the seafood department. Clean store. Cleaner and significantly shorter lines than other supermarkets. Reason is that its pricey. Every items costs more. The hot foodbar got fried sweet muduro plantains. I only shop at fairway for specific items. Its a gourmet supermarket for the relatively wealthy. Its like a less snobbish whole foods with better meat.

Whoever cooks for the hot food bar uses too much Tabasco! Even the Tomato-Basil and Lentil soup are very spicy, too much for me, and Im a fan of spicy food -- I eat kimchee for breakfast almost every day. The rest of the store is what you would like expect a Fairway to be, hence my three-star rating instead of two.

This is the 4th time I’ve bought EXPIRED FOOD at fairway in Nanuet!! The other 2 times it was 1 day left before the expiration date. I actually called them the last time they said they would mention it to the manager but clearly they haven’t and nothing changed. The pickles I just bought expire on March 9th 2019 and it’s March 28th today i just noticed it because i was about to eat them. It’s just unbelievable. People can get sick from eating expired food. I don’t have time to drive by there the next couple of days so I guess it’s my loss again. Thanks fairway great job! NEVER SHOPPING there again!

What is going on at the Nanuet Store? Empty shelves (for example bread shelves are empty), check out staff do not know what is up. Is Fairway not paying its bills? If so, I will not buy anything fresh there - produce, meat, seafood, etc.. Too bad, Wegmans is going to clean up.

The are unfair to their employees. The fired their special needs employees when they didnt quit after their hours were continually being cut back how they handled their employees with special needs was pathetic at best

You have to train your people incustimer service and they must understand better what the customer is asking. I just buy a few things unfortunately I forgot my bags at home.I told the lady at the cash register ” please so not give me two bags, one is enough” however, she gave me double bags. When I said again please just ohowever, she became angry and destroyed the extrabag. I explained to her that the purpose was to take care of the environment and save that bag...she shirred shoulders.It is not the first time, when I bring my bags, I specifically ask for not plastic bags and they put the most in plastic. Please think about the problem we have today with plastic and respect the effort of a few to change the world. Please train your workers

Fish department and most fresh items are not so fresh. Paying top prices for low quality goods.

Has a good selection. Quick in and out but you can spend alot of time looking around.

Total hell hole of death and destruction. The convenience of having a so called butcher thats supposed to cut meat daily yet, 3 times in 4 months have to return steaks that are rotten rancid and green. Not even just steaks another time the health and natural drinks were even rotten. I really understand why fairway went bankrupt and filing for it. Quality control is as lacking as common sense in the Middle East. Do yourself the favor. Stick with shop rite or goto Trader Joes. Never again.
