I bought a new mattress and I THOUGHT I wanted extra firm! Well after the first night on it I knew I couldnt sleep on an extra firm mattress. I went back to the store and Dustin the manager was extremely helpful and made it very easy to exchange my mattress to one more suited for me. He had it delivered within a couple of days! Great customer service!

I needed a box spring for a bed I already had. I did some online research and chose a locally-based company (shop local!). I walked in and the rep was helping a gentlemen who had a lot of questions, some repeated. The rep was super patient. When it was my turn, I was able to relay what I needed, get the box spring ordered and set up delivery for the next day. The rep also explained how the box springs are now made.The delivery guys were on time, called before they arrived, helped me move the mattress since I couldnt lift anything, and even navigated around some artwork that I had in the hallway. They were great.Overall, highly recommend!

I do not live in Napa but my daughter and her husband do and they have purchased three mattresses at Matthews. So when I had to purchase a mattress for my mother who was moving to an assisted living facility in Napa, they recommended Matthews. Showed up on a Saturday morning and Jim was fantastic directing us to what we were looking for. Very, very happy with our purchase and at a significantly lower price than we expected. A very relaxing experience without any pressure. With Jim’s help we found what we wanted very quickly, plus they were able to deliver the same day, which we didn’t expect! Vince and Eli(?) were fantastic with the delivery—very friendly and accommodating, and showed up within 30 minutes of the beginning of our 3 hour window they mentioned. Purchased 1 King size bed and 2 twin beds about a year ago. Very happy with their service. They recently replaced 2 mattress covers for me. The king was $100 and he only charged me $30 and the twin was free. I will never ship at any other mattress store. I am a Matthews Mattress customer for life!!
