I went in after a long days work in construction clothes I was treated like dirt. I just wanted to ask about pocket watches and if the only ones they had were on display & if they offered Engraving. I had to wait until all other costumers left even tho they have several employees. When I asked I was told I probably cant afford anything they offer. They where rude disrespectful and insulting. I will NEVER spend a cent there.

They do not meet promised dates for jewelry repairs/resizing and offer nothing to make the situation right. Plus they do not communicate until you call them.

Im unable to fathom how this company became number one jewelry store in the United States. The engagement ring my husband bought was over $3,000 -A 14k white gold 10 mil trillion cut Tanzanite. However at that time the store was named Ultra Diamond. We would have walked right past this store if it was a Kay jeweler knowing that there isnt anything unique about a mass produced fast food type jewelry chain store. That wasnt the feeling we were looking for when buying something this important. The impression received when walking into Ultra Diamond was that it was a high end jewelry store. Now after having it only a couple months or so I noticed a chip in the stone. I show up with paperwork and insurance coverage in hand to see what my options are. I walked up to the store same people different name! At that moment I had been thrown into the evil world of Kay! I shouldve realized that the situation was only going to become worse when The store manager -Gary Lujan a Certified Diamontologist and Gemologist while looking through a loop attempted to tell me the stone was in perfect condition. Really? I tell him I am able to see the chip without a loop! Then he finds it! I wish I had left the store that very moment! He proceeds to tell us that our insurance does not cover the center stone. We were speechless! But due to us being handed the wrong insurance paperwork the company will replace the center stone...When we finally got the ring back ..the third time we kept it never to return! The stone that replaced it with was crooked and the white gold prongs that were at each point to protect the center stone from dings were completely shaved down flush with the stone! This was not the ring we paid over 3,000 dollars for! So many bad memories and energy surrounding this ring I dont even were it any more! KAY JEWELERS AND MANAGER GARY LUJAN HAVE RUINED THE SPIRIT AND SYMBOL OF WHAT MY RING WAS SAPOST TO BE!What shouldve been a quick and simple task for this multi-billion dollar company ended up being a three month nightmare for us! Kay Jewelers complete lack of respect for what was to be a symbol of love is a disgrace! This company only wants your money. Once they have that your on your own!! Buyer beware! Only scam artists working at the Napa premium outlet location!
