I like this store. It is always clean and nicely organized. And there are people walking around asking you if you need any help....BIG + in my book.Furthermore, they have cashiers (actual people) to check you out. They are supporting the community. Then I will to by getting my needs there.

More Menards Misery today! They are consciously STEALING from customers. Returned a table saw today and they refunded me $3 less sales tax than I was due. When I notified the brainless GM Chris of the error, he directed me to the endless doom loop up in nowhere WI. Its clear they are aware of this all, are willingly stealing, and customers who are smart enough to see it get muzzled by directing them into a corporate void! WORST hardware store ever and now corruption.

Looking for some supplies to fix my bathroom. Found everything I needed and also asked for help to one of the associates. He was very helpful. Great store to shop. Keep up the good job.

Many products to improve or fix your home or office

Bought some fans online after consulting with an electrician who assured me they could be installed. Unfortunately, after the project was started, it turns out the fans could not be installed. Barely out of the box, I repackaged them and took them back to the store, only to find out that the fans would have a 25% restocking fee because they were, special order. Apparently somewhere in the fine print when I purchased the fans online, this was listed, but its not something that was placed in an obvious location where you could easily see/find it. While making the return, I ask the associated if theres anything that could be done to avoid the fee. They told me if I bought something else, they could waive the fee. I asked if I had to do that now, or if I could come back (pregnant wife was in the car with our dog, wasnt about to make them sit in the parking lot while I figured this out.) They said it would be no problem to do it later. So I leave and come back when I have a chance, about 2 days later. I try to find something in stock that would work for my home project. I find nothing in stock, but find something else online. Im told by at least 4 different staff members that they can process the fee waiver or do something to help out, which I appreciated. I spend about an hour getting sent all around the store, talking to people from a couple different departments before finally having everything in order and making my way back to the customer service desk. They bring the manager over now, who torpedoes the whole thing, says they cant help me with anything, and I had to do this all when I returned the merch 2 days ago, throws the associate who told me I could wait under the bus, wont do anything to adjust the price on the other merch I just spent an hour picking out...whole thing was garbage!Its one thing to rake your customers with hidden fees, its another thing entirely to rake your customers with hidden fees, while making them come back to your store and waste a bunch of their time only to not help them in the end after all. Frustrating doesnt begin to describe my thoughts on this experience.Enjoy the fruits of your small print, hidden restocking fees you filthy animals, itll be the last time I ever spend money in your garbage stores. You shouldnt have stuff on your website available for purchase if you cant take it back in completely new condition. Theres a Home Depot 5 minutes from your location, and you best believe they dont treat their customers like this, punishing them for unforeseen developments in their construction plans after they spend thousands of dollars on your products that can no longer be used. I hope people think twice before buying so much as a light bulb from you clowns.

Its Another Fine Menards. Most of the isles & departments are mirror opposite from most of the other locations we use.

The most unique thing about this place, which I enjoyed was the receipt Center. So what if you dont have the receipt, you can always print it at an innovative kiosk, which screams that they always think about the customer. Do better models exist. Of course why not, but dont you worry about lost receipts no more (but better have the credit card handy :) to pull up the receipt.

This is my favorite of the large hardware stores. Shopping at Menards here, and at stores I have been to in Chicagoland and Central IL is always wonderful.The staff does not bug you to offer to help which is a good thing. On the flip side, when you ask a question or need help finding something, the staff knows their store and merchandise.Checkout is simple and easy with engaging friendly staff.

The purchase online and pickup curbside couldnt be easier. They had exactly what I needed. Dave at the gate was so kind and checked my order number, allowing me to drive around the back and pick up my item. Very nice and competent.

Had a sump pump emergency. I knew exactly where to look at my local Menards and they had what I needed. I was in and out in 15 mins. I also appreciate that they have many registers opened so the longest it gets is 2-3 customers deep.

My boyfriend and I rented a rug cleaner and it could not have been a worse experience through taking it home AND bringing it back. When we went to pick it up, the lady verbally said “bring this back tomorrow by 8 pm” but the next day we noticed on the paper that it said a 4-hour rental. Fine...mistakes happen so we called and said we would bring it back today by 4. My boyfriend was the one who got it so when I brought it back the lady I was dealing with was rude and charged me $60 for unclean parts. My boyfriend and I thoroughly washed out everything after using it so she was out of her mind. She first showed me the underneath of the vacuum which had some hair wrapped around it and since I was in a hurry I’m like fine charge me the $20 for you guys to clean that. So as she’s checking me out she’s ringing up $20 more and $20 more. For what??? Those parts were clean. Of course there was a huge line of 15 people forming behind me and I’m holding up everyone so I reluctantly paid the $60 but I am one angry customer. What a very negative experience.

Always have a good experience here. The aisles are accurately marked, the products are fairly priced and a great value for the money. Ive been shopping at various Menards stores for 20 years, and this particular location for 7 years. My only complaint is the rebate process, otherwise it would be a 5 star review.

The worst. Treat yourself to Ace Hardware.

I went to recycle some burnt out CFLs and discovered how awesome Mendards is! I wandered around and picked up some inexpensive kid toys (balls, chalk, dinosaur set, etc), baby proofing materials, snacks (Lara bars, goldfish) and even fresh eggs! I seriously couldn’t believe they had eggs. I asked someone who works there if they were any good and she said yes! Then pointed me over to the case of fresh eggs she was unloading into the fridge and handed me a dozen. Who knew!? Menards just might be my new Target.

I usually can find what Im looking for. Staff is helpful if you can catch them.

I have been going to this store for years, but recently decided to stop, the lady at the paint department was very mean and impatient.

I had a major issue with returns at this location. I brought in a couple items worth just over $100. The manager came over to approve the store credit (no receipt) and instead kept the items with no reason. He told me to contact their headquarters. I asked for my items back but he wouldnt. I called the police in and after the officer spoke to the manager she said it was store policy. I didnt know Naperville police were taught Menards store policy and were obliged to uphold it. I also told her the return policy was written on the wall and said nothing about keeping my items. I couldnt believe it, they would not return my items to me. A couple days later I called her sergeant and he hung up on me after saying it was a civil matter. I called their internal affairs and they agreed the officer and sergeant did not handle this properly and my only recourse was basically to write a complaint. I just wanted my stuff back. I never wrote the complaint - I have a lot of cops in my family, etc, and they have enough real issues to deal with...

Place is fine if what you want is in stock and do not need assistance. But just like every other menards, the second you need help or a special order, you can really tell they pay there employees less than lowes or HD. Its as if they get all the rejects from their competitors.So good luck with your roll of the dice when looking for help. Only 50% know their job (where things are located/ you should never actually ask menards employees actual advice)

This store in Aurora IL. was real good with the material in stock and the customer service was excellent.

Menards in Morris il. Plumbing department the gentleman who took care of me was very rude snapped plumbing materials out of my hands and forget about this and threw it in cart and kind of snapped. My niece said he was rolling his eyes and shaking his head throughout the conversation. This happened on Monday 5-7-21.

Well maintained. Check out counters are wiped clean after every customer has checked out.

Standard large chain hardware. Hit or miss on how knowledgeable employees are about projects but any knowledge is better than mine. The 11% rebate on everything makes almost all items a good value.

Well stocked store except for some cleaning products which is not uncommon because of covid.In light of this, I noticed cleaning stations for sanitizing and specific entrance, exit and floor decals around checkout for our protection. Otherwise, there are enough associates on the floor if you need help. Efficient young man at checkout.

Got new faux wood cordless blinds cut to fit windows in about 15 minutes.

Menards is a great alternative to Home Depot and Lowes but ultimately it all comes to location and price.

On the way I went out the Menards to my car, two Menards security personnel (man and woman) came to me shouting that I may have stealed since they cant distinguish my personal belongings when I was in the store. I had to open my car letting them to search everywhere of mine. The lady took poictures on my personal belongings. They didnt find anything related with what they claimed. Then, they did not apology for their brutal behavior and left. A nightmare shopping experience!

Watch out for the SNIPPY GUY IN WALL-COVERINGS!!... I asked if they would hold 3 gallons of stain for me since the Menards in Yorkville held 5 for me 2 days prior and the Menards in Montgomery held 4 for me also 2 days prior. I asked if he could do the same and he was snippy and refused to hold it... As if I hadnt already spent $420 for 9 gallons of stain.... Get real dude, up your customer service game and dont be snippy to customers telling them that they need to order and pay for it online in order to do this... If its a policy then fine; maybe your other stores should synchronize policies!!

Typical big box home improvement. Not happy with the lumber quality deliver for my last deck job. Too many warped and curved boards, but Ill deal with it. Decent hardware selection, power tools are minimal compared to their competition. But I like that they have work clothing.

Nice place to shop for home / building / plumbing supplies, - however, carts arent sanitized for use; and sanitizer wipes empty to self service/ clean the cart yourself.

Had what I needed....and More! The staff was helpful in showing me to the correct sectiom of the store. They used their device, and then showed me the proper section. O appreciated their assistance.

These people are not interested in making money. Place is full, Employees milling around trying to avoid helping you, only four registers open causing long lines. (I abandoned my full cart) FAIL!Poorly organized store. FAIL!NO Military Discounts. FAIL!(Went to home depot.)

Bad customer service at the paint section. Guy was not helpful at all. Ask multiple questions and did not offer any help because he was too busy gossiping with a girl working there. Then he left and the girl asked what we wanted but also offered no helpful information about the specific paint we were looking for.

The worst customer service ever. I place and order on Tuesday to be delivered to my home. The first issue I get a call on Thursday the day of my delivery that my lumber goes my deck they do not have. Do you want us to make this delivery on another day? No. I want what I paid for. Then they deliver and its not what I ordered. They then tell me to send pictures like I have no idea what I am talking about. I send the pictures and guess what the incorrect Lattice. Then the coordinator tells me that they will have it delivered tomorrow. I waited on Thursday and you want me to wait another day. Do not order from Menards in Naperville the worst customer service experience ever. I guess because Im a women that thought I wouldnt know what I ordered.

I have never had a bad experience! Where else are you going to go to buy a bed, fridge, dog food and a frozen pizza? Also, LOVE the sweatshirts!

I ordered siding stone over two months ago personally at Naperville branch and was supposed to receive my order on 09/13, I started getting email for post ponding the order and they keep changing the dates.I contacted the office and asked for a percentage off of the order because of late delivery which my installer was going to charge me more.They ignore me and finally i asked the general manager of the store and he didnt respond my email and i asked him please let me have a reasonable respond otherwise I am going to cancel my order in person.I just find out my order is been canceled.The staff acted really unprofessionally including GM of the store.I will mention to everybody about my experience.
