I was deceived by how the ice cream rolls tasted vs how how they were made. I initially thought the rolls to be a little flaky or to be crunchy when you bite into them but they’re just like any ice cream. The procedure is the only thing that has been changed in making this ice cream. I feel this would require a little time to acquire the taste. Overall the staff was nice and helped me choosing my order which was the oreo ice cream roll.

Took my 20 month old toddler here after the children’s museum. The hospitality was like nothing I’ve ever experienced at any other ice cream shoppe. The person working at the register brought the big hamster stuffed animal so my daughter could admire it closer. She hugged it & felt so special & happy. This was just so heartwarming for me to see & I definitely appreciate the love a stranger showed. Ice cream was delicious & watching them make it was so fun! Definitely recommend this to anyone! I had the bubble tea with tapioca & the tapioca was a perfect texture & the tea portion was soo good!

Matcha rolled ice cream was good,not as sweet as the strawberry one my daughter chose.

The ice cream is good and its fun to pick apart the sheets of it as youre eating. Unfortunately, the service was very rude and the workers must think its cute to take such a snotty tone with their customers, but I didnt appreciate it.

So delicious, both the boba and the rolled ice cream! The staff is super friendly and are particularly friendly to your four legged companions ☺️ They give a big cup of cream for them to enjoy outside. Given the very labor intensive nature of the ice cream, remember to throw in a tip! Five stars!!

UPDATE: April 13, 2018. Came here again to give this place another chance. Good service, good rolled ice cream.UPDATE: FEBRUARY 7, 2018. CAME HERE BEFORE 9:30PM. WE GOT IN, THEY DID NOT LOCK THE DOOR BUT SAID THEY ARE CLOSED. WONT EVEN MAKE US SOME ROLLED ICED CREAM!! >_

This place is OK. I dont know if its because of covid restrictions or what but they dont have many toppings for your ice cream.. the staff is also not very friendly or welcoming. The ice cream is okay but nothing special. My taro banana ice cream didnt even taste like taro.. mostly just banana.

The ice cream toppings could be better. The ice cream is not bad but not something I would go back for.

We went there for the 2nd time last night made the mistake of waiting in the light me for 45 mins. The issue is more with the business model than the product or service, it just takes too long to make the darn things and I saw these guys working non stop to serve may be 10 customers in 40 plus minutes and we noticed at least 3 groups leave because the wait was too long.They only serve one size which makes sense given the amount of time it takes. The ice cream tastes a lil different than regular ice cream and they can make it better by offering more options with the toppings. If you have not tried rolled ice cream than its worth checking out for the novelty but this fad wont last long..

This was amazing. The ice cream if fresh and made in front so you can see it. The boba tea was amazing, they have so many flavours of everything, and different types of tea and boba. I loved it and would recommend!

Waited for 15 minutes for the place to open at 12:30pm. When the staff got there at 12:27pm and we walked in, they told us they were closed. They could have told us to just wait in the lobby till they were ready. Instead they kick us out with our 2yr old. Never going back.

I went there with my family on Friday after I looked up some ice cream places I wanted to try this one. It was amazing. My entire family loved it. The only bad thing I have to say is that part of my rolled cookie fell off and that was gravitys fault.

First time having rolled ice cream and I loved the experience. They were out of the flavor I wanted, so I settled for something else. Staff was super friendly and prices are decent for the amount of food you get. Nice little place we happened to walk into.

We came here by accident and yes another happy accident with my husband! We were looking for Balboas (which was on the other side of this restaurant) and we ended up going inside as I wanted to take a look. Prior to coming here I have never heard of rolled ice cream. They just opened that day and there was 1 person arranging all the ice cream flavors, he said just choose which flavor I like and if I want to have whipped. We didnt know if we need to order first but since we were standing in front of the cashier and we were the only people there, the person took our order and we paid for it. The picture that I took is not the best, I was just so excited to eat it and my expression was like a 5 year old inside a candy store! I will definitely come back!

Went here with my best friend and her daughter. Its a sweet little place, where the signage has hand drawn anime characters. The rolled ice cream was really yummy, and so many choices for toppings. They had all kinds of bubble teas, even funnel cake on the menu. I will definitely be returning.

After doing a 5K in the area we walked to Munchies and my kids and friends had some Rolled ice cream. They loved it! Small little place with only maybe 1 or 2 people that work there. Takes a bit to get the order once its been placed and paid for. Smoothies take almost as long as the rolled ice cream. Once they got it, they LOVED it!!

First off, rolled ice cream is amazing! Thanks to munchies, I was able to discover the awesomeness of ice cream all over again. Secondly, you get your moneys worth! My wife and I were able to share a single helping and it was more than enough for both of us and I am not a small guy. If you are out for a stroll in downtown Naperville, this is a great stop for some cold, tasty treats. The best part? Its literally across from the parking garage. Location, location, LOCATION!

Staff is always friendly. Yes, there is a little bit of a wait but H E L L O they are rolling the icecream, not scooping it. It takes time to make. Great little spot to take the kids.

Tastes like ice cream you buy at any grocery store. Not very creative flavors or have any specialties. If you really want to get ice cream, it’s decent but doesn’t meet the standards of rolled ice cream experience.

Super slow business but good food

They gave us a free bowl of cookies n cream rolled ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate sauce while we waited for our dinner. Very good! Also had the chicken nuggets, egg waffle, crispy chips & the mini hot dogs (pigs in a blanket). Everything was excellent!

I went with my family this past Friday night to check this place out. We had heard some good things, so we wanted to try for ourselves. Right off the bat, the first impression was not a good one. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of backed up toilet wafted out. There must have been an issue with the pipes. That right there almost had me turned around to leave, but decided to stay (for whatever reason). Its a very small store, and the line was about 10 people deep. The process of rolled ice cream is labor intensive and requires some time to prepare. After 5 minutes, the line hadnt moved. Then another 5. This gave me enough time to look around to notice how many corners were cut to open this business. It really looks like a work in progress rather than a finished product. Again, after another minute or so of not moving at all (and no discernible line either), one of the women working announced that the wait has been pushed up to 30 minutes. Many people, including us, left immediately after. The service is pitiful. I cant comment on the ice cream, but I hear its good.

This was my first time having rolled ice cream and it was so good! The employees did a great job explaining all of the options and helping me create an awesome summer treat.

So when I went, they were out of the Hong Kong waffles, and a few bubble tea flavors. The guy at the counter didnt know how the bubble tea was made, and then when he found out it was whole milk and there were no other options, I was a little disappointed. But I get it, its not a bubble tea place, their focus is rolled ice cream. But then the guy said it was only 50 ml of whole milk, so since I was splitting the drink anyway, it wasnt that big of a deal calorie wise. However after getting the drink, I was more disappointed because the boba was small and hard. I cant remember why it comes like that, either from not soaking or cooking too long or not enough, but it just wasnt good boba. I would go back and try the rolled ice cream with a friend or the Hong Kong waffles, but I wouldnt order bubble tea from this place again.

Rolled ice cream with a side of attitude. Ice cream was fine but the staff was rude and not friendly at all. If you want to stay in business in downtown Naperville your have to do better than this. Plenty of better options in a two block radius.

This is nothing special I paid 6.50 for the man to snap at me and stare me down when I didnt put a tip for the single ice cream I bought. My Oreo rolled ice cream was flavorless and I couldve just gone to cold stone. This place is trendy thats all for the picture hypes 😂. My sisters enjoyed taking cute pics of the ice cream and thats about it.

The vibe in this store isn’t good. Everyone working looks miserable like they don’t want to be there. There is a smell coming from the place that was gross. We had to go outside to eat which melted the ice cream. Iced had rolled ice cream before at other places. This one tasted very plain.

How inconsiderate and lazy! Took a 15 min trip with the kids after dinner and the place was closed at 8:45 (we saw them cleaning up but they didn’t answer the door) while the website identified a 9:30 close. I called as we left to express my my displeasure and as told, “sorry we close early in the winter”. We are 5 months into the winter - IF YOU CHANGE YOUR HOURS, CHANGE your hours on your website! Not going back - EVER!
