So much delicious food and drinks! Was there last weekend for my birthday and mothers day . Had the diver scallops. Oh my word!!! This should always be on the menu!!! They were even able to make my daughter whose vegan, her own pizza Even with vegan cheese! Also got the pesto chicken pizza. Again did not disappoint! Our waiter on Saturday let my friend and I try 2 bubbly 1 rose and 1 prosecco. Enjoyed both! Cant wait to come back when it gets a bit warmer out to sit on the outside patio!

Very casual, but beautiful and my food was cooked to perfection. My family and I had a great time eating there for my cousins birthday! Wonderful attentive staff, perfect atmosphere, definitely recommend.

This place was recommended to me by a coworker and was very much disappointed. When we walked in, I told the Hostess I made a reservation for 4, she asked table or booth ? I said booth, she pointed two vacant booths and told me to pick wherever we want to sit, did not even bother to escort us to our table.The Waitress introduced herself and we felt we are being rushed to place our orders. After the main course, she asked if we need boxes to take our leftovers home, She did not asked if we want anything for dessert, I called her back and asked if we can order coffee & dessert, she replied “Oh Yeah” !The ambience is good, lasagna did not taste anything at all. We only enjoyed the appetizer & desserts. No plans of coming back nor recommend this place to others.

Delicious woodfire pizza and wine. I got to witness them make fresh shredded Parmesan from a huge wheel from Italy. Food was super fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Great selection of wine by the glass including bubbly.

The arugula salad was crisp a refreshing! I loved the mushroom pizza as well. Expect leftovers if you order both! Some reviews commented on bad service, maybe it’s because it was a Monday night but it was very quick for me - no complaints at all!

This is NOT locatedin Naperville. It is actualy in Wqrrenville and not near anything just fyi, you will have to drive or rideshare. On a wednesday night the service was horrible. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for appetizer and after 20min it never arrived. Server never came to check on table nor did he attempt to let us know what the hold up was for a 6 piece meat and cheese platter. For a wednesday night thr place was half full but there were multiple servers. We ran out of water and again our server never returned to check to refill our water. We just walked out to get better service.

Great concept. Really nice servers and staff - very professional. Sauces are very savory and interesting. Musshroom risotto was delightful. Pasta needs attention: Roasted Vegetable Gnocci were much too dense and way undercooked (although the vegetables were outstanding) same thing for the Ravioli Che Figatta...hard, dense, not light or pasta-like. Great place if they fix the pasta.

Although all of their dishes have an excellent presentation, unfortunately I have not been as equally impressed with their taste. Ive also experienced great customer service from the wait staff.

Excellent food and very generous portions. We got takeout and it was still hot after driving home 30 minutes away. If you like Italian food, try this place out. Definitely will come here again.Edit: Came back here a couple more times to dine in and we were definitely not disappointed. Food was amazing again. When I recommended this place to my parents they were skeptical, but that soon changed once we went. Translating to cool in English, Che Figata is a high-end Italian restaurant with amazing food and a modern atmosphere. It is high-end, I mean, they have wine worth a thousand dollars a bottle, but the atmosphere feels homey and more casual, and this works to the restaurants advantage. You dont feel like you need to wear a suit here, and thats a good thing in this case. Che Figata challenges your tastes and makes you try new things. For example, Im not a fan of beans, so I was unsure of the bean side I got with my meal. However upon tasting it I was amazed at how much I loved them, how the spices made the beans tasty, like an explosion of flavor. They even have a small shop for pasta, bread, cheese, meat, fine Italian wine, etc. Not to mention the head chef is highly decorated and experienced in his field, explaining the excellent quality of the food. Well done.

Is it a 5 star restaurant, no but everything is in context. Given that it is in Naperville and that it is attached to a hotel, it deserves 5 stars in context. Excellent pizza.

The food here is incredibly good. We got the short rib ravioli and Papparadelle alla Bolognese. Couldn’t decide which one was better as they were both excellent.

Came here for dinner after visiting Lavazza for coffee in the morning and seeing this place and WOW this place is fantastic!! I ordered the Caccio E Pepe and my partner ordered the Lasagna. Both dishes were AMAZINGLY delicious. While the portions are on the smaller side (European), each dish is so rich and filling that you are satisfied. We also ordered the red pepper soup and that was also delicious. My only critique is that they say on the menu that they have whole wheat pasta but when I requested it I found out it isn’t made fresh like their regular pasta so was a little disappointed by that with this being such an upscale establishment. Service was excellent. We will definitely be returning here.

I visited on Christmas Eve and had a great experience. They have a great selection of Italian wines and various cocktails. The warm bread with EVOO and a tomato sauce was a great start. I started with Pomodoro then finished with chicken and more pasta. The tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. Great service & fantastic food made for a memorable evening.

This restaurant was amazing! When I say amazing I mean it was absolutely brilliant. Their food was magnificent and I could really taste all the defining features of the food, along with the new flavors the mixed ingredients had to show. The staff was very nice as well and I also love how you could see most of the kitchen and if you sit at the bar you can see them make a few of the very interesting meals they had to offer. I’d also like to say that Chef Miguel to exquisite care of me and my family while we ate and we had a magnificent time. This restaurant deserves a 5 star rating because of all the magnificent things they had to offer and display. I love this restaurant and I’d gladly come back and bring people with me to share the magnificent experience of Che Figata.

Our service was excellent, the chef came over to tell us how the meatballs were made, the manager asked us about our meal and it was so delicious, like homemade with love. The hurrays cheese was the best I have ever had and we highly recommend the gnocchi, melt in your mouth texture and super flavorful.

The most authentic and tasty Italian food you will find anywhere. Chef takes pride in his the dishes going out. If this was a downturn Naperville restaurant it would put the out of business. Food was excellent as was the server Ozzie. Loved the Italian wines! We will definitely return..

I have been fortunate enough to dine here twice and it was excellent both times. You can tell that the chef Marquez really cares about the food and the attention to detail. From bread service to dessert wonderful. It is a beautiful open kitchen with lots to choose from on the menu. I recommend the pasta- homemade and cooked perfectly.

My fiancé and I decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! Having been to Italy many times, this was the most authentic Italian place we have been to here. Our waiter, Dakota, was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on wine and food. John the GM was as well! One of our friends had worked there in the past, and we were greeted by free apps, a dessert, and more! They were extremely generous and very passionate about their restaurant. We will go back very soon!

My wife and I have dined at Che Figata at least a half dozen times but have not been there for two months. Food is always good quality and a pleasurable experience.However, the menu has changed slightly and was consolidated to a single page. The noticeable difference is the large increase in pricing. Food quality is still good but portion sizes decreased as well, Our table of 6 was assigned a gratuity charge of 23% for each bill. I was just shocked with the overall check for a simple appetizer, pizza and pasta dish.We ate more at Vai’s the night prior for half the price. I’m a fan of Che Figata but will limit my visits considerably.

It was excellent! We started with the appetizers these little steak pieces and octopus which was very good. We had two different types of salad, both great. For entree we had veal and a type of fish they had and it was phenomenal. The veal was so tender and juicy and the fish was freshly cooked. To top it off the dessert of tiramisu and the chocolate cake was excellent. I personally enjoyed the tiramisu more. The overall ambience was really nice, clean, classy. Would def come here again.

The food was great. I love the smoke smell from the grill area as it adds to the dining experience. Our waitress didnt really know the menu and we had to ask for refills on our drinks. The restaurant wasnt that busy either so she had plenty of time to check back with us.

At near $20 the prices for cocktails are extremely high - higher than downtown Chicago high end restaurant craft cocktails. In addition, the actual liquor content is quite low. The wait staff is not familiar with the menu. We have been there multiple times and ordered the same item but it was made completely differently. The drinks and food are good but prices really need to come down.

Thanksgiving dinner was so amazing. All the right food. Everything tasted great! The best place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. I have been back several times. The chef is one of the best in Chicagoland. Get your family and go there. Enjoy and definitely try one of their signature drinks.

Loved this new find! Food was just perfection. Beautiful presentation and delicious and unique and trendy. We had the ravioli, cowgirl steak, veal chop, and Bolognese. Would recommend them all. Service was awesome and loved how several of the servers would come by and chat. The interior was elegant but fun and we enjoyed the booth. We loved our experience and will definitely be going back.

Service was a little slow but everything from the appetizers to the entrees were amazing. Make sure to try out the cocktails as well. Would also recommend the swordfish, to die for!

I was so glad to get back here! I was last here in December 2018 and told anyone who would listen about how good Che Figata is! Second visit just as good. Be sure to ask for Bread and the olive oil dipping sauce.

My absolute favorite Naperville foodie spot. Although the food is inventive and different, atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The servers (mostly) know a lot about the food and are happy to share. Take a chance on wine. They have things on the list Ive never seen before, and are worth exploring.

I had high hopes for this place...unfortunately I wont be returning. Im giving this two stars only because the food was decent. The service, however was lack luster. I ordered a drink from the bar which never arrived. Our waiter was rarely available and didnt come back to check on our experience. When it came time to leave, we had to flag down our waiter for the bill. I indicated wed like it split so the items went to the corresponding couple. The bill came back incorrect 3 times. We requested to speak with a manager who never arrived. The whole ordeal ended with our bill still remaining incorrect, nearly an hour beyond after we finished our food.

Prices increased drastically about +$3-$10 on food and beverages. Example cocktails used to be $12 and now they are $15. Also they took off good menu items permanently. I hope they lower their prices because not many can afford to spend $100 on lunch

I have never written a review before but it was important this time because this was probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I live in downtown Chicago and have been to 100s of restaurants there that have been great. Firstly, we didn’t have a server come till 40 min after we were seated and this was after at about 30 minutes I had spoken to the hostess to send a server over as we are strictly vegetarian and we were hoping to review the menu to know what we could even order. When the server arrived with the manager who gave a half hearted apology (he really didn’t care at all that the service was horrible) he also informed us that the pizza oven had been broken since he day prior. I made the reservation two hours prior and no one told me over the phone!! That’s ridiculous!!we then had our list of items ready to go and it took me about 2 min to read off all the items exactly that we wanted so at that point I thought things would be better. It would’ve been fine in the end if the food had been excellent but two dishes came out cold and they forgot serve us one dish. I guess it made it better that they then removed a few things off our bill and our server himself was actually a really nice guy. But the manager was not helpful at all (not really apologetic nor very nice) and honestly the whole experience sucked.

Outstanding experience on two recent visits with excellent food and service! One visit was a special occasion/graduation dinner and the other, a girlfriends birthday night out. Both times we were fortunate enough to have Jeff as our server. He is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and was helpful in navigating the menu. He had just the right balance of being there when we needed him but not hovering. Excellent service and food. High quality farm-to-table ingredients, beautiful wine list, and chic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’d say that we’ve eaten at Che Figata around a half dozen times. I’ll start by saying that our food has been excellent every time.Service was spotty the first couple of times, but they seemed to get it together and we had a couple of good overall experiences. Last week we took a friend there for his birthday and the service was disastrous. There was clearly a lot of confusion, and the gent who works as a host was both apologetic and told us he would discuss it with the manager. He subsequently stopped by and said the manager would come over to discuss the problem. She never did.Our server, Donika, came by our table for the first time after just over a half hour had passed. She was great (she’s served us before), but it was clear that her assignment to our table had occurred only after an extended period of time. We asked for their wine expert (Dave?) to give us some recommendations and found that he was no longer working there. No wine steward. “Something happened.”Ultimately, we chose a wine and immediately placed an order for some starters. All the food was great. I’d estimate that our wine showed up about 40-45 minutes after we were seated.The manager never did stop by. We sought her out afterward and she had no excuse for not checking with us (as was promised) or apology for the breakdown in service, only an explanation that “A lot is going on.”As hosts for what we had hoped would be a fun celebration, this was an embarrassment. We had already made reservations for other guests this week and we have canceled them.I truly hope that the owner figures out what is happening. Mark has invested a lot of time and capital in what is a great concept. And the food is really excellent. However, when service is this bad, it takes all the joy out of the experience. We’ll try again at some point, but not for a while...”a lot is going on.”A final note...there is another review that another member of our party wrote after this experience. He did a better job of describing some of the details, but it was the same group on the same evening.

The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. The staff was fantastic. The manager was very attentive and the food was delicious!!!

Expensive and incorrectly prepared food items. I have come here about 10 times and spent over $1000 and they went downhill quickly. I don’t come here anymore. I used to order a specific pizza that’s on the menu. Every time I ordered it they put ingredients on it that weren’t listed on it on the menu. I called the GM and she apologized. Afterward o came againand the same issues. They put pine nuts on a pizza that doesn’t have pine nuts. When I was there I told the server that I ordered it before and it doesn’t come with pine nuts. She said the chef said the menu was wrong and they are following the training handbook. They have some serious issues here and will likely not be business much longer.

It was an excellent experience! The food was very fresh and prepared knowledgeably. Our server, Justin, made the night even better.

The wedding soup was a tad too oily, but it was worth it for the rich flavor. The arugala salad was light and refreshing, and has got me looking for fresh figs in more recipes. Great service and ambience. I will be back.

Service was fantastic, ambiance was great, but the food was awful. Both my date and I had terrible entrees and an appetizer. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen, but I won’t be going back.

Gave this place 3 honest attempts. The food was excellent every time. The service was decent only one time and horrible the other 2 times. Everyone I know that has dined here has had similar experiences.The first time the wine (which was ordered immediately) came out after the entree (and was the incorrect wine.) The second time was decent service but 30 minutes for the first drink to be poured. We were also seated 15 minutes after our reservation. The third time took nearly 20 minutes for the first employee to come to the table and nearly 45 for the first drink to be served. The server and host stated they would have the general manager stop by the table as soon as possible. The manager never showed.Like most people, I value service and consistency as much as the food when it comes to dining out. Clearly there is a systemic staffing issue at this restaurant but as of now I don’t plan to return.Update: I provided my contact information to the manager over 5 days ago. There has been no attempt to contact me.

Something has got to give. The ingredients seem high quality but the preparation is lackluster. The prices are completely out of control. You would need a prime downtown location and those prices still wouldnt work unless the chef preparations went up a few notches. I wish you all the best, but the prices dont come close to matching the product. In regards to the sullivans pricing comparison. They have a prime downtown location, the service quality and food preparation are lightyears ahead of this restaurant. There is no comparison.

Food was great! So many great options it was hard to choose. Our waitress was very attentive, but yes there were hiccups in our service. Food took a little longer than expected because our ticket order was lost. The manger was very apologetic and comped our bill.It was the first week of opening so i wasnt expecting superior service. For us the food was well worth the wait. I would recommend the short rib ravioli. We still had a lovely time and would return : )

We met the owner Mark and head chef Brandt. The food was freshly prepared. Portions were just right. Bread is served if you ask. Very extensive wine list from Italy. Very good cocktail menu. We had calamari. 16 layer lasagna, linguini with litte neck clams in roasted tomatoes sauce. Dessert 3 scoops of gelato. Mango grapefruit, strawberry. I will go back! The wait staff didnt rush you through. You took your time to eat, drink and relax. I definitely will return.

First time in this restaurant today and it will be the last time . There are couple reasons :1. Food came late2. After coming we realized one meal wasn’t what we ordered and one was almost burnt.3. After the waiter offered to correct it, it took forever for the meals to come back, at that point two of us were done the other two didn’t even wanted to eat it anymore so it was a completely waste of money.4. The food wasn’t as described in the menu it was supposed to be boneless it sure wasn’t boneless.5. The taste was terrible I’m sorry to say this but it was I never tasted that terrible chicken parmigiana 28$ for that plate, what a waste. Just a big piece of chicken mostly uncooked thrown in a plate with some cheese on top such a shame...6. We were offered a comp dessert for the inconvenience, when we asked for the bill we saw were charged for it, but our waiter he quickly fixed that which was fine with us.7. We endeded up spending 220$ for a dinner that didn’t satisfy us at all, and the sad part is that we liked the restaurant it’s nice and very clean but the food tastes bad nothing like Italian food doesn’t make you wanna come back for it.Sorry for bad review but I think you guys need a new cook because whoever works there on Saturday night is no close being a cook, and I wouldn’t believe that person is a chef. Your menu looks very tempting but the taste is nothing to what is described in there.😞

The food was very good. Two appetizers were lovely and the entrees very good. The server was very helpful giving us wine tastes to try to find something different for each of us (3). Wines were very expensive... like downtown Chicago prices. Server was friendly but didnt remove dirty wine glasses or appetizer plates and platters, didnt bring water when we asked and was hard to find when we wanted the bill. Also why do they bring the entrees while we were still working on the appetizers? The place was very empty and our server was not overly busy so he should have kept an eye on things.The music noise level was WAY WAY too loud. We asked twice that it be turned down and they did but then somehow each time it was turned up again. When there are very few person in the place, why have this blaring music. The menu is difficult to read. The dessert menu is in the tiniest font on earth. Why do restaurants do this? You just give up. The wine list was almost tattered from being handled so much. The menus and wine list needs a redo to make it easier to read. The menu is very interesting and the food was very good. I wish them luck but we wont be back. The noise was a real turn off and if the place were full.. you would be screaming at each other.

Dined here on a Tuesday. Juan was a great server with solid recommendations. My wife had the bolognese which she said was one of the tastiest shes ever had. I had the Ragu and it was delicious. Great ambiance with the wood fired oven and open kitchen. Tasty variety of Italian wines. We are excited to go back and try other dishes!

Came here on our last stop for the Ultimate Road Rally and came back two times since. Fantastic place, great food & wonderful staff.

I don’t even know where to begin. When our table finally asked to speak to one of the 3 managers on duty about our poor dining experience, we were told “join the club” by a server. After 30 minutes of waiting and still no manager. It turned out that our server needed a manager to override how he’d been dividing up the bill, but a manager wasn’t available for him either so he took matters into his own hands. He pretty much gave us 75% off the entire meal. It’s astounding to me that we never saw a manager the entire time. I don’t eat at places where the customer experience is not made a priority by management. Will not be back.

We had a reservation and host was rude and sat two walk in’s before us. They were wiping a table off for us and once we sat down, BEER got onto my cream fur purse because they did a sloppy job cleaning the table. When I told them, it took the new “manager” almost 10 min to get me seltzer water. I told them the purse cost approx 6k and he didn’t make any effort to move any quicker. Hated it.

The food is delicious and fresh.

They REALLY need to bring down their prices on both food and cocktails. They have the most expensive cocktails in the suburbs along with the smallest pour. Cocktails are now $19! That’s more expensive than Gibson’s in Oak Brook, Sullivan’s in downtown Naperville, and Morton’s in Naperville all of which are very high end steak houses with unique twists on cocktails. Not to mention it takes 20 minutes to get a cocktail and another 30 minutes to get your food when there are very few diners present. Read other reviews and you will note many complaints on prices. WAKE UP MANAGEMENT!

Great Italian wines and food. Excellent service too!

This place went downhill in a matter of 2 months after opening. For the five times we went they messed up almost all of our orders and lied that the menu listed incorrect ingredients and that they made it correctly per the training manual. Really? I didn’t order a pizza with pine nuts. What if I had a peanut allergy. You could kill someone.

Delicious and well presented meals, from burgers and BBQ to salads that can match any palate. The room is dark but modern style, and the banana bread pudding is off the chart, a favorite I still dream about. So worth the calories to share, and the rasberry cheese cake was almost as good!
