This place is far too phenomenal to not spread the word about. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I’m Italian and can easily say that this is the best Italian sub I’ve ever had. The red pepper shooters are to die for. Stop what you’re doing immediately and head down to Neapolitan Gourmet!

Best Italian Hero ever! The meat was stacked so high and everything was so fresh & delicious. Vinny, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He makes an unbelievable, one of a kind sandwich. We are new to Naples and Vinny welcomed me so kindly. So far, my family has enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli, sausages, bread, and the fresh mozzarella--all excellent! Thank you so much, Vinny. During my travels I always look for places to get a great sandwich, cupcake / pastry and BBQ. Today was a Deli day looking for that great sandwich. I came across Neapolitan Gourmet and thought I would give it a try. Once I walked in I knew I was going to love it. It immediately reminded me of home, New York/ New Jersey. Greeted by extremely nice counter people was just the beginning.So, I ordered what they call the American, Turkey ( store made ), Roast Beef ( store made ) and Ham. I added provolone and hot banana peppers to the lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I was offered a sample taste of the turkey and roast beef. They both were fantastic. The sandwich was HUGE! A real New York Deli sized and tasting sub. Definitely worth the trip and it was reasonably priced.

This place is wonderful and food is great. I got an Italian hogie that was delicious and filling. Picked up frozen spinach ravioli and lasagna. Next visit I’m getting spaghetti sauce.Update: baked the lasagna and it was delicious. Pared it with garlic bread and thought I was in Italy!!!

Best sub you will ever eat. Drove all the way from Ft Meyers not disappointed having another this week will ask vinny for extra hot peppers as they put so much meat on the sammys u Need extra everything !!! No complaints absolutely to die for my sub weighed 1.53lbs when i put it on our kitchen scale. 12$ can’t beat it

Carol made the best subs ever...BUT...all good things come to an end 🙄. This is their famous Italian Full Sub ... NOT 😫 Zero onions, 2 thin slices of tomatoes, maybe 12 slivers of lettuce, AND barely a drop of anything on the bread. New staff not only does not get along but they totally lack the passion necessary to match the legacy.

Vinny was so welcoming on my first visit, I got the most popular item which was the Italian sub and the bread and freshness of products was some of the best ive ever had. This place is addicting!

We ordered a Turkey hero and an Italian hero and both of them we’re terrific!! Just wish the bread was a little softer. Great staff and great prices.

I come to Naples for the winter from Toronto and this is the only place I can find that carries authentic Italian... everything is so fresh.. the turkey is roasted in house and is to die for as is the homemade baguette..EVERYTHING is fabulous

As I sit here and digest my very first Neopolitan Gourmet’s famous Italian hero sandwich, I honestly feel guilty knowing I paid far too little for what was, without question, the largest and most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten in all of Florida. (I also feel like I should probably put on sweatpants and cancel any plans I had for the evening, but that’s beside the point). How is it that I basically paid a little over ten bucks for enough food to feed a needy village? It’s like I should drive back up there and offer them more money. But as the pound and a half of premium cold cuts and the entire loaf of bread it came on works its way through my system, I’m thinking a long nap is going to come before any act of reparation.Be warned, this is not fast food, it’s an amazing work of art made to order. If you are one of those impatient, foot-tapping, self-entitled snowbirds who’s late for pickleball, go to Subway. You deserve each other.Anyway, aside from sandwiches that will make you drop to your knees and weep with joy when you think of them months later, this place has just the right selection of imported Italian lunch meat by the pound, imported Italian goodies, and what appears to be homemade sauce and pastas. Being my first time, I only got the sandwich and some lunch meat, but based upon the amazing quality of those, I can’t believe everything else isn’t nearly perfect, and I’m looking forward to returning.Oh, and I can’t wait to try the homemade mozzarella either. Of course I’ll have to wait until Amazon delivers my bigger, stretchier sweatpants before I make that trip, but it’s a burden I am willing to bear.

My goodness. I had a sandwich here earlier in the week. I’ve been thinking about it since. I’m back here now getting lunch again. The full Italian is so hearty and delicious, and super fresh. I eat half now and save half for later, or split it with my fiancé, perhaps, but probably not. Small place, back in strip mall near AAA... real hidden gem. Very glad I found it.

This is like being back on Long Island in an Italian deli. The fresh food is delicious. Fresh backed Italian cookies -- so good. They carry Italian grocery items that are often difficult to find. The folks behind the counter are friendly and know their stuff. I love this place.

Absolutely fantastic homemade sausages!

This place is a hidden gem! Today was my first time, and I must say my mind is BLOWN! The owner was wonderful just made fresh sausages. I ordered an Italian Sub and I have leftovers for days. Made with so much delicious meat, definitely not the sandwich for those who don’t love meat. Tons of imported Italian goodies, I will definitely be back!!!!

First time in so I ordered the roast beef. The roast beef sandwich was so good I had to uncork a bottle of Cabernet to have with it. I have not had a roast beef that good since I was in New York City years ago. A++++.

This is the same type of Italian food my grandmother used to make, its all homemade and delicious. I have to say they make the best sausage in Southwest Florida, I love the broccoli rabe sausages. Give the Neapolitan Gourmet a try, I guarantee you will love it and come back time and again.

Got an old-school cold Italian sub. Lunch meats were fresh and wonderful, cheese is imported even the balsamic vinegar is top notch. Eggplant Parma was phenomenal. The cannolis were so good..... better than Federal Hill in Providence or little Italy in Manhattan.

I really enjoyed their Subs here. From the very start, the servers set the tone for an excellent dining experience. My only form of criticism would be for the cooks of. the establishment. He Kept coming to my table and not only drinking my wine, but flirting with my wife. I believe his name was Dale. Other than the beef with my wife they started, I reccomend this place 10/10.

Amazing subs! Very high quality meat and bread.

We walked in and just stood there taking in the Italian aroma. Been too long since I was in a Italian store. We had to wait while the hot sauge was still being made. Tell ya folks it gets no fresher than that. We sampled and purchased fresh romano cheese. Also purchased Parmigiano cheese (I like to mix them together). Tried the biscotti, almod and chocolate, dont leave with buying a piece. Very fresh and tasty.

Over priced. Not alot of selection. The staff was very friendly.
