Nice, clean, organized store. Lately JCP stores have been a mess but this one was extremely nice. We bought a nice set of luggage, bed pillows, and several things for our kitchen. With the sale prices and a 30% off coupon we saved a lot of money. The check out was fast and the associate very friendly and professional.They also have a Sephora store, an optical department and a hair salon in this location.Will definitely go back!

JCPenny is usually not a place one thinks for fashion clothing shopping. I must tell you, it is a hidden gem. JCPenny has clothing, bedding and sales galore to help fit any lifestyle. From workout clothing to beach wear, kids clothing, home products, perfume, dress clothing, mens suits. Style and fashion at amazing prices! Sephora has its own store inside.Dont overlook or sleep on this store!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Karena who was working in Men’s dept. this weekend. We tried to check out at another counter and were given an incorrect price which the cashier refused to fix. Karena fixed it herself and gave us some helpful suggestions as well—excellent service that made our experience worthwhile. Good job!

Delayed shipping to store pick up call customer service then they tell you to call the store I call the store and finally someone picks up with a phone you can barely hear them then give them your info they say hold on and never pick back up the phone while you wait to see your order is WORST EVER!!!

Where do i start i bought a few clothes items and i tried to return it i just didnt like it and didnt wear it and i cant believe the manager said she could refuse it just because she wanted to ! I feel really discriminated against i been shopping at jcpenny for years and this the level of service i got ? You should be ashamed i spent almost $200 and they are refusing it i called cooperate hoping they can do soemthing.

Had almost nothing for juniors, super messy or empty shelves on things that are on sale, some departments were organized but most were just shameful, clerks don’t disinfect machines or area after each customer like it says they do, and if you haven’t gone out for awhile because of the pandemic and trying to use an old coupon forget about it . Hopefully when they go out of business and change their names they will have some good customer service employees . Sad what it has become

Went in looking for a light weight spring jacket. Very little to choose from. Found a lightweight windbreaker. Not really what I was looking for. But we do till I find what I wanted

I went into this JCPenneys today looking for a pair of shoes. I have never in my life seen a shoe department so disarray and awful there were no shoes in any boxes and the couple of boxes of shoes that I did find they had peoples shoes that had stolen the shoes and left her other shoes there was no one working there anywhere to help me when I finally found a pair of shoes that I like which there was no box for I took it up to the counter and they were over $70 not on sale you would think a store that obviously I would be surprised if it even had a store manager would have a sale on shoes that arent in boxes that have no prices or anything just to get rid of them I will never be back to this JCPenneys and it is deplorable and should not be in business

So sad to see JCP look this bad. I visited on 4/6/21 thinking that, with Covid winding down they might have more in store. Nope. Several dressing rooms closed and open one piled high with clothes. Dirty overall appearance...unkempt. Im rooting for a comeback Penneys! You have this thing!

I went there on April 15th twice once early in the morning that experience couldnt get any help but finally got cashier to come bring me up after about 10 minutes then I want again in the evening and I couldnt get any help but theres one guy at Sephoras name Timothy a diamond in the rough,not only was he kind enough to make take all my purchases but he also help me look up the app to get a discount and save me over $100.I have not shopped at jcpenney since before my grandparents died they were loyal jcpenney customers,but just because of timothy at sephoras Ill definitely be back again and again.

Stopped by here and my mom brought a blouse, we walked the entire store trying to find a cashier, no signs or anything finally we see a cashier. You would think that they would at least post signs to let everyone know where to go. This is the last time that I shop here. The employees are rude too!

Had to walk all around the store to find a dressing room. Even the employees didnt know where an open dressing room was. Then we had to walk all around the store to find a check out.

I understand that coronavirus is a big deal but me trying to check out is it a big deal too. I had to walk all over the store to find one person to check me out. If it wasnt for my inability to walk well, it wouldnt have bothered me. I would have just chalked it up to a few more steps but that was not the case. Hopefully when Corona is over they will be fully staffed and there will be people there to help you when you need them.

Im giving this 2 stars because they have good sale prices....Recently went in to buy sneakers for my daughter that she needed for cheer. JCP had them on sale so I decided to go there to get them. Sign a register stated to go to returns or mens department for check out. I went to returns since it was closer (not really that close) waited in line for 15-20 mins. One girl at cashier with no help, but plenty of employees walking around chatting, and staring at us in line instead of helping. Finally another employee, who I thought was coming to help tells us, asked if we arent returning we need to go to mens department to check out. I should of walked out at this point, but I really needed the sneakers. Off to mens department with an even longer line and one cashier. Finally my turn, I had also grabbed an item from clearance rack but tag was missing. I remembered it was $5 and change. Item was located all the way at other end of store in womens department. Cashier just basically said she couldnt ring up without tag and didnt even bother to go check price or call for help. I told her how much it was as it was comparable to the other items I also grabbed off clearance, but that didnt matter. I just wanted to leave so I left item. She seemed annoyed, and didnt want to do anything to get the price, and I wasnt going to walk across the whole store to then stand in a ridiculous line all over again. I dont totally blame her as she was all alone dealing with a long line of people. Fast forward to today, I have to exchange sneakers for larger size. This time I go to returns, NO CASHIER. Lady in front of me says shes been waiting awhile for someone to help. I grab my stuff and head to mens department, meantime Ive past quite a few employees stocking the racks yet no one is working any of the registers. Lady at cashier tells me returns are handled in back. I told her I was not doing this back and forth today as I was on my lunch break and that I was only doing exchange, either make exchange or Im leaving this other pair with you and taking what I need. Shes bothered, but helps me and I leave. I decided I will never shop at this store again. Even though the sales are great at times It seems almost impossible to find a register open in the department you are shopping in as they have them all closed for some reason. The lines are always so long at the open registers, but they seem to struggle with performing their job and getting customer checked in and out in a timely manner. JCP needs to open all their registers and have better a better customer service system. Employees should be walking around helping and directly people in the right direction.

My wife and I recently purchased glasses at your JCP optical shop in Naples. Weve been buying our glasses through JCP (in RI) since 2008 and this was our first experience in your store. I wanted to make sure that anyone else in the market for glasses, knew what stellar service we received during our selection process and pickup.Karen made the initial process quick & simple. She was helpful enough to answer absolutely every question we had and even made a few great suggestions. She was as involved as we wanted and needed her to be without making us feel like she was selling. It was clear that she obviously knew what she was doing. She was also very pleasant and courteous.When we came in to pick up our glasses, I was super shocked to see that she didnt even need us to remind her of our names. She knew, as soon as we walked in, and went right to retrieve our glasses. She remembered where we lived, what we did for a living, and our names (after only one meeting!) I was truly impressed. She was super helpful with the fitting and we were in and out in no time.I just wanted to make sure you knew how pleased we were with the entire experience. Naples may be roughly an hours drive for us, but the level of personalized service we received made it worth it. This was, by far, the best experience weve had in 12 years at a JCP optical shop.Please be certain to take great care of Karen and share our review with those who matter. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and dedicated employees are a gold mine!

It was an empty maze filled with perhaps 3-4 employees available, not a lot of clothing range in plus size, but decent discounts. Spent 100 for 250 worth, not bad.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.With it being the holiday season, it can be very busy. I totally get that!As someone who works in customer service herself, I was completely taken back by how my mother & I were treated at the counter during check out by a “manager”.We got a throw blanket on a shelf that has around 6 others of the same.. it said “on sale $19.99”. Now when there is a sale, you should not have to dig deep to see if that is the correct item especially since there is MULTIPLE on the shelf!We get to the register & it rang up “$24.99”.We tell the lady ringing us up & I go to show her. She tells us how it’s the wrong blanket & all that jazz.. fine, but it’s not my fault that multiple blankets are in the wrong spot & it should be $19.99 still...She calls a managed (WAYNE) so we could speak to him while she goes to grab the sign. The guy comes over & tells us how we are wrong, while using a VERY loud voice with his hand constantly in my moms face making a huge scene saying “I’m not going to argue with you, you need to make sure wherever you are in the store, you double check everything, no matter where it is.” WOW! Talk about RUDE! He continued to say “I will honor it this time but it will not happen again.”I am so dumbfounded how he treated a CUSTOMER.Worst experience ever.

I wish I could give 0 stars!!!Coastland center mall JC Penny is so messed up. They have weird hours closed all doors into the mall. They do not offer info on how to enter the store anywhere. So after several attempts I found the outside doors to be open to the public. They also do not offer info in what register they have delineated for refunds. Only one person there. Lines at all registers. Never coming here again.

They have a large selection of items. Some prices are too much, but they usually have good sales. End of seasons, they give deeper discounts on sale items. Shop the clearance section for some good buys.I do not like the layout of the store. They seem to have too much inventory on the sales floor causing tight spaces while you are trying to shop. Staff is not engaging and sometimes hard to find.My wife recently got glasses from their optical department. They were very helpful and prices were in line with other retailers.

Awful & so sad. Walmart is cleaner more organized, attractive & friendly than this store was. Almost everything I picked up did not have price tags on it or was a mess in the minimal selection bedding & linens and no pricetags or help for housewares. And this is not the Pennys that is being closed down-- it is the one at Coastland mall supposed to stay open (but I dont see how it possibly could). I wont be going back ever.

Horrible. Two saleclerks standing at a checkout, doing nothing. They told me to take my return to the housewares department, n I did. There was no one there, when she did arrive, she gave us a hard time about an item that WAS to be purchased. She left the station and walked all the way over to the mens department. She came back to see four other customers waiting in line. SHE told US that SHE was right. There is no way SHE could have found the item in that time frame. We know what the sale sign said. We told her quickly we were not buying anything, and to take it off the credit card. Penneys needs to do a better with their employee training and signs on the clothes rack. I was just there over the weekend, we cant see ourselves going back anytime SOON.

I usually love JC Pennys, this one not so much. Only 2 registers open for the entire store and 20 people in line?? Are you serious? I stood in line for 30 minutes to checkout 1 item. Never again! The one in Naples is much nicer and has more staff. Also dressings rooms were gross. Staff was basically robotic and didnt seem to care about anything. Ask them a question and every single response was I dont know. WTF????

JC Penney is an institution and we lost far to many stores like them. They need fresh new ideas and lower prices to stay competitive. This is a nice place in the mall. Need to hire more people at better wages and florida needs to abolish this right to work state.

Great service especially from sales associate Rachel and Jennifer in jewelry dept. They were extremely helpful and so sweet. I will be a customer more frequently because of them.

The store was a mess ! I was looking for some shoes and there were shoes all over on the floor could hardly walk down an isle . Then went to look at the clearance and that was so jam packed with clothes you couldnt move anything to see anything!! Its like nobody cleaned or straightened the store in months.

Use to be my favorite place to shop. Store is not kept and limited on registers. Also, one can not get any assistance in finding anything. Prices are right with lots of deep discounts.

The dressing rooms were a little run down/basic and hard to locate, but I would go back because the prices and merchandise quality are hard to beat! Its not as nice as Dillards, but youre not paying Dillards prices either, you know?

Have been shopping at Penneys for years. They have a big store in Coastland Mall. I like to look for their sales which are usually really good. Always able to find some really cool shirts. I would recommend.

I give the second star just because we were able to find a present for my mother-in-law and the reason we stayed there to look for one is because we were given a cupon for discount and my wife insisted. The place smelled like mold, everything was old and shelfs were empty. I wouldnt go back there.

Its a shame, but the service has declined greatly in this Coastland Center location. Where before you could find employees to assist with merchandise, now you need to walk the store to get help....IF you can find it. Cashiers are too busy to help you, and departments have deteriorated. Mens Dpt has closed their once very nice, and spacious fitting room (for suits and shirts). The shoe Dpt., which once had associates to assist you with shoe selections and questions, is all but abanfoned, and help difficult and almost impossible to find (IF you can). A once thriving store, now a shadow of what it once was.**This seems to be the curse of Coastland Mall. (Burdines, Sears, Disney Store, Radio Shack, Dairy Queen, Moes....just a few)

I like JCPenneys because of the deals and prices however this particular JCPenneys I do not favor because it always seems to be pretty messy. It was messy to the point that I thought it was one of the JCPenneys at were closing down. The lady at the register had to correct me.

The prices are to high and not a lot to choose from. I had to stand in line for a long time and there was two cashiers with no one online but me. I ended up not purchasing my items. I went to another store.

Sale prices are pretty good but its very difficult to find help. Also checking out is a hassle. Long lines and few places to even check out. Finally gave up trying to find the customer service desk to get gift boxes for my purchases.

Good amount of Collier Co. approved shorts and polo style shirts for students! $13 shorts.

This particular location is disappointing whenever I visit it. It is not clearly organized. The merchandise is not nice or fashionable. Everything is chaotic, randomly displayed. It is really dark at certain areas. I never find anything there I would buy.

I took my 14 year old daughter to the hair salon in JC Pennys to get her hair done for her 8th grade end of year dance. The process of booking an appointment was very easy. And when I came back for my appointment we only had to wait a few minutes. Samantha was the stylist that ended up styling my daughters hair, Which my daughter has very fine hair that is hard to style because it wont hold, and she did an amazing job. Her hair turned out looking amazing, and Samantha was very nice and talkative. She made it a great experience for my daughter.

Buzz has terrible customer service skills. JC Penny please train him on how to acknowledge customers instead of walking off rudely. Unacceptable employee behavior. Thanks to Michael I didnt leave the store to shop somewhere else.
