This is my 3rd vehicle purchasing from Allen Mello. This time it was a lease. The last 2 were purchases. I worked with Fred and Jim Kacavas during the sales process. I will continue to go back to this dealership because Ive always felt that they are fair and involves in helping me choose, not just trying to sell me something. Ive always given this dealership my first look when in the market for a vehicle over the past 6/7 years and never found a reason to look elsewhere. Thank you all.
I chose Allen Mello because I have been having issues from the start from the dealership that I leased my Jeep from. From the first phone call to Allen Mello, everyone was really knowledgeable and willing to explain everything to you. I brought my car in and they quickly identified the problem and got it fixed quicker than I was expecting. My car IS fixed (unlike the other shop I took it to who told me they couldn’t find anything wrong) and when I picked it up, it was cleaned and smelling good! Very grateful for all of you at Allen Mello!

Very Deceptive practices when pricing the vehicles. Was told by manager we run these ads to get you in and here you are. I was also told by Brandon that they do not honor the prices on their website. Fred, my salesman, told me This happens all the time - people see an advertised deal, they come in expecting the deal and we end up charging them $150 dollars more a month. In my situation I was on Allen Mello Jeeps website, I selected the express purchase option, The price quoted was a lease at $351/month only to arrive at the dealership and be told $439/month. This was very deceptive. Upon a follow up call with one of the managers I was told the website does that to bring people in. I do not understand why they would utilize such deceptive tactics. I am appalled. I have never had such a poor experience at a car dealership. I explained my frustration to the manager who called me, Brandon, but he didnt seem to care. I asked is this how you do business and told me yes this is how we do business. I personally do not think they took me as a serious customer, I came in on a rainy Saturday in sweatpants in a sweatshirt after going to the gym. Regardless, what Im wearing does not determine my eligibility to purchase the vehicle. The one positive was Fred - Very nice guy.
Our salesman Carl and the finance team did an excellent job from start to finish. This was the easiest and quickest Ive ever purchased a car or truck. From test drive to leaving with my new Jeep Cherokee, cleaned, full tank and all paperwork completed was a couple of hours or so. Looking forward to purchasing another vehicle there soon. 10/10 and 5 Stars
I purchased a new 2021 Grand Cherokee and I seriously couldn’t be happier. We got an amazing deal and the service was incredible! My first routine maintenance for my Jeep. Easy drop off and pick up - tech was knowledgeable and great customer service.
Reviewed my bill when I got home and noticed I was charged for the tire rotation in error. The tires were purchased in Mar 2021 at college Allen Mello and the rotation is free. This was discussed when they began my service today. I understand these folks work very hard these days and I say shame on me for not checking my bill before I left. I just called and spoke to one of the service folks and he confirmed all the above and said either a check will be mailed to me or a credit will be placed in my file. Again I am very happy with the service and feel I should have checked my bill before signing for the completed service.
Nathaniel Bordeleau and the sales manager (forgot name) were amazing. Although I was not able to purchase at this time, they went above and beyond to try to get me a deal and to make sure I was happy with my experience. The car I was hoping to be able to buy was beautiful and I definitely was treated as a valued customer, unlike a few other places I had experienced. I will be returning when the time is right and would highly recommend Allen Mello to anyone looking for a quality vehicle.

Zero pressure atmosphere. Transparent, very easy transaction. Cheikh in financing was knowledgeable and quite funny. Would definitely buy from again.
The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is that when I asked for the shuttle (that I signed up for online) the morning I dropped off my car, I was told I couldnt get one because I worked in Manchester. I think their online site should indicate that their shuttle is local area only. They did however, provide me with a rental, but they were going to charge me for the rental ($35 a day). I did not end up having to pay for the rental but that was only because they had to order the part for my car and it was going to take two days. Beyond the above, the service and my advisor Eric were good.
From the sales guy to finance, including the managers. They got us the car, pricing, and trade in value WE wanted. They didn’t waste our time, and let us poke as much as we wanted. We have traded in dozen cars back and forth every couple years at other dealerships, and this is the first and only not to even try to negotiated up.

Great job by Clayton. Pleasantly surprised to find an in stock Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with a trailer option at the dealership. Hard to find any car. Harder to find a car with options. Dealership was impeccably clean and well organized. Clayton was professional and efficient.
I went in this morning for an oil change. They recommended a tire rotation which was done. It was fast friendly and affordable. I was able to continue on with the rest of my errands for the day
I am very satisfied with my experience purchasing my new-to-me 2018 subaru crosstrek. The entire process went smoothly. They took the time to give my new car an extra clean before I drove away and gave me an inspection sticker. The sales team took good care of me and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend this dealership for purchasing a new car.
The salesman Clayton was nice to me, however except for the Finance manager named Tony. He was unclear and deceptive about the extended warranty he roped me into signing up for. He said it was FULLY refundable, however he failed to mention that it was only refundable to the principal of my loan. I specifically applied for a 0% APR loan, so there would be no advantage in paying off my loan early. However when I canceled my warranty the very next day, they only allowed me to apply the “refunded warranty amount” towards my principal, which is not truly FULLY refundable. I wanted it back in my pocket. Again, this is especially not favorable when you have a 0% APR. The dealership Allen Mello was good to me as a whole, except I wouldn’t advise anyone to sign up for an extended warranty through them, especially through the Finance manager Tony.
Brought my van in for recall .Had an appointment took me in and. completed the job on time. Very professional. Would recommend highly . Job done satifactorally.Bernie theService manager been there for years and has his dept running very smoothly and professionally. .
Dropped the car off the night before (since I work in the morning) for a 9:30am oil change and tire rotation appointment. I had hoped to pick my car up on my lunch break. However at 12:30 they still hadnt pulled my car in. I was told that since I had dropped my car off for the day they could do the work whenever. So they took other customers instead. Whats the point of making an appointment?! Also, I asked them to quote how much it would cost to fix the memory preset on the drivers seat since it stopped working. I was told it would be $140 to diagnose it. Pass. I can adjust the seat myself thank you.
Oil change and tire rotation in less than 45 minutes and David made me aware of a great deal you had on buying several upfront at a discounted cost. Keep up the great service.
Great experience! Worked directly with Oscar and Jim and both were outstanding. The process was quick, and we were driving our new Rubicon the same day. Oscar spent a great deal of time with us to ensure that we were comfortable with the vehicle and all the new components. Would definitely recommend the dealership for anyone who is looking for a vehicle.
This dealership may need some re training on their sales tactics! It’s 2021 not 1990.. I was told if I wanted to speak with a sales person I would need to go in, no other way! Being a business owner I have little time for buying “things” and I purchase things often. I don’t have hours to spend going to dealerships to just get basic answers to questions. In this day and age most dealerships allow you to do the whole buying process remotely. In fact all of the vehicles I have lurk are over the past several years have been done so with our setting foot in the dealer till it was time to sign and pickup the vehicle.It’s unfortunate for them, they had a great commercial sales Dept years ago when I purchased a van from them but that dedicated Dept appears to be gone along with their customer service.
Lost the key to my locking wheel lug. David in service got me right in and was extremely helpful in getting my issue resolved. Will definitely use them again.

Great place to buy a new/used vehicle. The sales staff is amazing, and Andrew is who I would personally recommend. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen quickly. The only thing I wasnt happy about was dealing with the finance department. They kept messing up the paperwork and that caused me to have to redo it 3 times, which wasted too much time.
I realized my oil was really low and was able to call and make an appointment for an oil change the same day. I got there slightly early and was greeted in a timerly manner. Overall great experience and will definitely be going back.
Carl and Cheikh were wonderful to work with at Allen Mello. They made the process of car buying painless and pleasant. Carl wanted to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with the car, and the customer service that was provided was top notch!
STAY AWAY!!! We have a Ram that is within warranty, bought it 3 weeks ago, less than 2000 miles and we were told by the service manager that they get to pick and choose what repairs they make on a car. It was going in because when it was balanced the truck became worse. This experience has been nothing but a headache and the customer service is absolutely appalling. We love the truck but when the dealer tells you he wont touch it and you have to take it to a Chevy dealer to get a Ram fixed because the Ram dealer is trying to charge you for maintenance on a truck UNDER WARRANTY and the cost is DOUBLE that of the Chevy dealer its sad. We have always owned Chevy and unfortunately this will most likely be our last Ram after this experience. I recommend staying clear of this dealer. We bought the truck at a different Ram dealer but to blatantly refuse to fix a truck that that is under warranty for repairs at any Dodge dealer is not acceptable. The dealer we bought it from didnt have the right tool to fix the problem otherwise we would have gone back to them.
My experience with the service department today was exceptional. When my car presented with an issue I wasn’t expecting, Bernie and the service team created a plan to effectively fix my car and provide transportation as needed. Thank you for helping us the way you did.

I recently moved to the US from Australia, so purchasing a car is not a simple matter. Greg at Allen Mello, and his colleagues, were unrelenting in finding a way for my family and I and I am extremely grateful. We will need to buy more cars in the near future and I fully intend on working with them again, which is as excellent an endorsement as any business can ask for!
Needed brakes and rotors kinda last minute before a long Drive up north . these guys got me in even tho it was a full day . in and out fast and easy no complaints
I brought my Liberty to get 2 recalls taken care of. One part was fixing some kind of airbag sensor. It was fixed, they said, but the airbag light came on, and has stayed on.. They wanted almost $700 to correct what wasnt wrong before they worked on it. It just doesnt make sense.Dont put your car into the hands of back alley service techs that have integrity issues. Read EVERYTHING before you approve any work. THEY WILL FIND SOMETHING TO SCAM MORE MONEY for non-needed work.
Probably due to COVID-19 but there’s a shortage of microchips for cars being produced, resulting in a lack of car options- which of course isn’t the dealerships fault. The sales person I spoke to was very polite and personable but he wouldn’t give me straight answers and it took talking to two other people- his boss and the finance person- to figure out which car I actually wanted and a plan that would work for me financially. Tony- the finance person- was very polite and did all he could to help me get a car I loved for a great price. Over two days I ended up spending about 6 hours there including the signing off. Probably could’ve been done in one day for half the time but only if my options were explained better on the website before I went in. They inspected my car for free, and I was told I was guaranteed free oil changes for the next 3 years. I’m young so buying a car is a new experience for me but I feel the sales person could’ve done a better job explaining my options instead of trying to sell me the same 2 cars over and over, but ultimately I got a car I liked, even though the price was higher than I expected.

Sad. At one time a great place. No longer.Should have had 2 keys with my vehicle purchase. Couldn’t find #2. Won’t provide a 2nd. So for less than $200 they are dismissing a long time customer and are receiving this poor review. Sad.
One of the best and easiest service appointments I’ve had. Was initial oil change and tire rotation but service attendant was great, pull into bay was easy, WIfi was great as I waited, and service was quick. Only complaint was broken coffee machine.

** UPDATE ** - The dealership/service manager had agreed (via email) to repair the damage to the vehicle while in their possession however, sent me an email indicating that because I submitted a negative review that they would NOT be honoring their agreement to repair the vehicle.When considering this dealership refer to reviews on the service department before making a decision. So sad considering the car buying experience is great on the sales side.I have since filed a claim with the BBB to report the issue.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Let me start this review by saying my review reflect the service department only. The sales team is great.Since purchasing my Jeep Grand Cherokee I have brought my vehicle in for routine SCHEDULED maintenance and have been let down on multiple occasions. When you schedule an appointment for an oil change for a specific time you should NOT be told that there is a 2+ hour wait I do not care how many cars show up before you....Its a scheduled appointment. This happened on multiple occasions and my appointment needed to be rescheduled.I am not sure where they find their techs but my two most recent visits resulted in my car being returned with additional issues. The first was a simple oil change where the tech could not reset the oil change and just gave the car back which triggered the service message regarding the need for an oil change to pop up. It took the service ADVISOR to reset the message. Pretty sad that the advisor can reset the message center and not the actual tech.Calls to the service manager, Osiris went unanswered until the complaints were run up the flag pole.The second and most recent issue was they replaced a chime mechanism for the rear lift gate and the car was returned with the panel appearing loose and the gasket not properly replaced. When I emailed showing how the car was retuned they sent a tech to put it back together but it could not be fixed because it was actually broken...It was fine when it went in. The service manager, Osiris replies to the issue with the cost to replace it. I should NOT have to pay for something THEY damaged.BUYER BEWARE - The service department is absolutely horrible.
Noting I can’t select ZERO STARS I had to give only one.I Negotiated a trade in so that we could purchase a new Ram 1500. Once I told dealership I had a CDI (Chrysler discount certificate we got from the regional Chrysler business manager allowing us to pay less than MSRP) the Sales Manger (Tom) said no deal and he refused to sell us the truck. He accused me of being disingenuous and when I asked why he was refusing to sell us the truck he said “you people come in here expecting top dollar for your trade (note I took his first offer for my trade) and expect deals and when you don’t disclose things like a CDI, this is the result”. He continued to carry on even after I told him I didn’t want to argue with him and was just asking a question. I drove nearly 2-hours to this dealership and it’s an absolute disgrace the way this guy carried himself. After 5-hours at the dealership, the GM gave me his word he would call me back by end of day after he spoke to Mr Mellow regarding how they could “make the wrong right” but he never called me back. Not only was I treated poorly but there’s been zero follow up.NOTE: Following all that happened to me at dealership, we even offered to take $3000 LESS on our trade in order to purchase the truck. These people are dishonest from the top down.

I went in with the intention of buying a new vehicle and was met by Clayton Bogus in the parking lot. Usually I equate buying a vehicle with going to the dentist - not an enjoyable experience. But Clayton was low key, no pressure and knowledgeable. Showed me a few vehicles and I ended up purchasing one. I welcomed his expertise and easy going manner. When I took the new vehicle in a few days later to get the inspection sticker, the service staff were nice and professional.

Allen Mello Ram is a great dealership with a top notch service department. I changed my dealer from Manchester and switched to Allen Mello because I didnt like the service I was getting. The last two visits for aiming headlights and alighnment after checking my truck out and determining it only needed an alighnment I was charged less than expected. They also have a shuttle service. This is my kind of dealership.

They made sure the vehicle was in 100% working order and when an issue was found popped me into a rental for the weekend to make sure the car was ready to go for me.Service has been amazing here too! Not happy with my purchase at all. I purchased a vehicle for $32,000 and within a week and 200 miles my brakes were squealing loudly every time I stopped. I was told that because they are over the legal thickness they wouldnt do anything for it. Now 9 months later and 3,000 miles I am having rust bubbles pop up on both rear wheel wells with estimated repairs over $2200. I am highly dissatisfied with my purchase and will not be returning to Allen Mello. Cannot stress enough to others to avoid it as well.

Very disappointed with the service we received from Mello Dodge. We have been loyal customers. Our truck was in there for the same thing and they said they fixed it, but didnt and now because its past the warranty we have to pay $1600 to fix a problem they screwed up. Its time to go to social media and other outlets to tell the truth. There are other issues I have with the service department and how they treated my wife.
My family and I have been going to this dealer since the 80s. They have drastically gone down hill. Salesman I had was absolutely clueless about the models. Bought a car there back in August and it had 4 Check engine lights in 1 month, Found out the rotors and brakes need replaced within a month of buying it as well when i brought up my concern about them originally. They do not recondition their used cars and they try and hide flaws. My fiance was also trying to buy a car and they would not give her the terms over the phone even though she asked multiple times. Was just an overall bad experience. My fiances salesman was an older gentleman that was very high pressure constantly telling her congratulations on the new car and touching her back when she never said she was buying it. Will not be back...---Update 3/29/18---Even though the car fax is clean I just found out from an assessment that my car has been in an accident as the frame has been welded from a prior accident. I asked them if the car has had any frame damage or been in an accident and they told me it has not. Again very dishonest.

Scheduled an appt here, they called me the day before the appt to tell me they were going to move it a week away, and that I had to have the car there 2 hrs earlier than the appt time and that a diagnostic would cost over 3 times what it should. Place is a joke.
Unable to resolve known fueling issue on 2021 RAM 1500. RAM issued TSB, vs. recall. Ineffective, insufficient, problem not resolved.
Ive been having all my service work done by Allen Mello since I bought my used 2008 Jeep 9 years ago, nothing ever gets fixed the first time. They messed up on changing my wiring harness on that one and I just said mistakes happen and kept going back. Just brought my 2015 Jeep in 3 times for the same warranty work, was charged the warranty deductible twice for the same issue they couldnt resolve the first time. Was out of a vehicle for over a week. Fought with them for three weeks to get a refund on the second charge and when they called to refund me, charged me again instead of refunding it. I am done fighting with them over yet another one of their mistakes. I disputed the last two charges to my Credit Card. Will be going elsewhere in the future.
Liked everything about this dealership. They were friendly, willing to negotiate, patient and not pushy. Even when signing final paperwork they were professional and not pushy with extended warranties. Very happy.
Stay clear of this dealer. If you do deal with them check your paperwork very carefully. They changed my deal after a verbal agreement and I did not notice before I signed. 15 year customer that they screwed. I questioned them a few days later and they just blew it off.
My wife and I bought her new car last Black Friday (Nov). We were pushed through the buying process, quickly, but efficiently and understood we were getting a good deal. 2017 Jeep Compass for a good price with one previous owner, low miles and clean report and passed inspection the same day.Since then we have had nothing but problems. In 10,000 miles we have had to replace all 4 tires (in fact that was January), replace spark plugs, new brakes and rotors. We asked them about these issues and they replied “It wasn’t an issue when it left here.”After looking into the paperwork more, we discovered the one previous owner was “Enterprise”. That barely counts as an owner, but how can a reputable business honestly sell a vehicle under that guise and expect their customers to trust them?I am not from the area and thought all Jeep dealers must be like the ones I am used to, apparently not. I have had my own Wrangler serviced here twice, but after all the shadiness, lies and countless issues with no help, we will be taking our Jeep business elsewhere.Many people post negative reviews without offering a solution. My solution: Buy your car back and let me walk away without any hassles. We had a great time talking to the guys in the service area, however they don’t control sales, nor do I expect them to solve all the companies issues.

Absolutely horrible experience with the service department. I had my jeep looked at under warranty, i stated over the phone that if it was going to cost money, DO NOT proceed. They left me a voicemail saying it was going to cost money to fix and they were going to do it anyways, after I requested that they do not. When confronted with the bill, the service manager and the service rep were absolutely horrible to deal with. The manager is a complete jerk and I most definitely do not recommend have your vehicle serviced by them. Save yourself the hassle and have your vehicle serviced elsewhere!
