I cannot say enough great things about my experience dealing with Jonathan Dias. I was in desperate need of a new ride-on mower. After many failed phone calls/emails to several John Deere locations with nothing but responses about shortages or inventory not arriving until Sept/Oct. Finally I got in contact with Jonathan, who was the first to recommend a different 300 series model other than the one I was inquiring about at a similar price that was in stock. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and professional. Thanks to him I was able to get my new X350 48” mower on Friday!
My husband found himself searching for a 36 inch commercial walk behind mower. Due to the product shipment problems all dealers were having, we found ourselves looking on line and hoping that our usual “go to” John Deere dealer in Nashua, NH would be able to get the one we saw advertised on line, but was located at another United Ag & Turf store. Our wonderful Sales Rep, Al Nickerson, came through for us. Al worked hard getting this W36R commercial walk behind mower transferred to them and then doing all that extra paperwork, but he made it happen for us. We were contacted when the machine was in Nashua and when it was ready for us to pick up.While we were there, Al told us that this Nashua store was moving to Milford. A huge Thank-You to Al Nickerson for all the help in making my husband happy with his new walk behind toy.Our best wishes to the new John Deere dealer in Milford.
I needed a John Deere S120 as a house warming gift for my son who just purchased a home with a very large double lot in Hyattsville Md. Down there they do not see much need for riders and none were to be had. When I got home I went down to the new Milford NH store and found they did not have any either but an associate named Stephen Barrett said he could help me. I explained that I was going back down and he was able to get me my mower in time. When it arrived the seat was broken and I thought I was sunk there was no way to get a new seat in time. A second associate Jonathan Tirado stepped up and offered the seat from one of his sales that could wait. So a big thanks to Steve and United ag & turf for making my house warming gift a success
Great employees, super helpful and knowledgeable, with top of the line products!
Today I purchased a John Deere x350 at Ag&Turf. All of the staff I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Jonathan and Stephen for answering all my questions which made a smooth flawless transaction. Thanks allRick G.
A great equipment buying experience. I worked with Jonathan to purchase a tractor with several attachments. He works internet sales and does a great job. He was very responsive. All of the paperwork was done paperless in the comfort of my own home. Jonathan also made sure all of the attachments I wanted were delivered in a timely manner. As a first time tractor buyer it was nice to have them do an extensive walk through of the tractor and then loaded it all on my trailer. I visited 3 other dealers offering 2 other manufacturers none of them made you feel welcome in the dealership. Those sales people need to learn to be more personable.
Great job repairing my John Deere tractor
I just bought a new X330 here. I was unable to locate one with a bagger attachment anywhere in New England and Jonathan was great and secured one for me on the spot. Very satisfied.
Steve and Jonathon in the Milford location are excellent to work with. We had a few minor setbacks with all of the supply problems due to Covid, but these guys buckled it down and got me exactly what I needed.
I needed a shear bolt for a PTO shaft that wasn’t from a JD. Jenny didn’t care...she was more focused on getting me the right one. Oh, and they were closed. She let me in anyway and spent all the time I needed to get the right one. THIS is customer service, and they now have a customer for life. THANK YOU JENNY!!!
We looked at other tractor vendors, but were impressed with Al Nickerson and the staff at United Ag & Turf in Nashua. Al listened to what we needed in a tractor, and based on his suggestion, we bought the 3033 R model. The price was excellent, and the paperwork was easy to complete, and now we have the tractor at home! Thanks, Al.
Bought a x390 from Steve. Excellent experience very knowledgeable and helpful.
Wow! Hourly rates for service $$. Prices for a simple Mower oil change, blade sharpening over $100! ($116.57) Cust service said their hourly rates went up since acquisition. Back to Chappel
We just purchased a tractor and worked with Al. He was awesome. Knew his products. And did everything he could to get us in the tractor.
Jonathan Tirado was my salesman a couple weeks ago. (Mid to end of January 2021 time frame). I was impressed with his honesty. He lacked that typical salesman tone, i.e. he wasnt pushy, rude, didnt rush me through my questions etc etc. Very polite and respectful, knew how to answer all my product questions, and on the rare occasion if he didnt know, he quickly found out for me. Outstanding experience all around. So much so, that I decided to go back to Jonathan only a couple weeks later to purchase another tractor for my mom. He was consistent, and both purchases were smooth, hassle free, and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
I bought a s140 with a bag and a cart 2+ weeks ago. I Was told it would be delivered on Friday the 7th around 9ish. At 1pm I called them.they put me on hold for over 40 minutes. Then when I actually talked to someone at 2pm they told me it was on the way. At 5 pm I received a call saying it was never even put on the truck. So the next available date is Monday the 10th and they would call me to notify me it was coming. Well never received a call and 2/3 of my order arrived. I am very disappointed. And will probably never go through them again.
Made an appointment, Al said he forgot and had a doctors appointment after I made a 50 mins drive. Then he couldnt even get my info from his computer then he wanted me to sign a blank contract to lock up my down payment. I couldnt take on any more bs from John Deere so I went to BobCat and brought a tractor instead. Not sure it was because of my skin color he thought that they wanted to take advantage off. BTW he took a customer as I left I guess that was his doctor.
They tend to misplace things like generators. On Delivery - Heres my generator, is this something you can fix? SureOn Pickup Attempt - Hi someone called me and said my generator was ready to pick up? Yeah, its not ready. Ok when its ready can you deliver it. SureLater in the day on Pickup Attempt - Sorry it is ready and we found it. Great, can you deliver it? Sure on Wednesday. On Delivery Day (Wed) - Hi, you said you were going to delivery my generator today. Yes, sorry....unfortunately we cant find it.......Ill be sure to update this later with how the situation plays out.
I bought a John Deere from Al at the Amherst location and everything was great. I placed my order over the phone (COVID precautions) and I picked it up a few days later. I arrived and the tractor was clean--ready to go, outfitted as ordered, a guy out back did a very thorough job going over every knob on the tractor to ensure I knew how to operate it, and Al had all the paperwork and financing already done, ready for me to sign. I highly recommend Nashua Power.
This is by far the worst service I have ever received. I had my mower picked up for a very very simple service that takes about an hour, and yes I get there is a backlog but they had my mower for over 6 WEEKS and it turned out their supply company was bought out or something. I get that stuff happens but I lost out on hundreds of dollars in business due to not having my mower. I was told that I would receive my mower back in 3 weeks, which turned out to be a flat out lie. If you want to receive a timely service this is definitely not the place for you.
Staff is very helpful and professional. Prompt response to emails. Very good experience.
Ask for Joe P! Great guy with great customer service!
I just wanted to thank John, he just delivered my new riding lawnmower and was very helpful with explaining everything and made sure I did not have any questions before he left. Great customer service ty!
Just wanted to give John multiple shoutouts. Had a few issues with missed fixes on my mower but he has more than made up for the issues!!! Always calls back no matter. What time or day. Then helpful and do what it takes to make it right!!! He is the five star rating!!
The staff was curtious, pleasant and very helpful. Called to confirm they had the part I needed. They placed it off to the side for me for when I arrived. Made it a very easy and seamless visit.
Stopped in to shop for a backpack blower. Customer service was great, purchased the blower through my own research and their recommendations. They fully assembled it for me and even helped load it in the car.
Scott located the part number and location for a 1991 LX176 carburetor. Picked up today, bolted on and ran. I really appreciate the time and quality of service. A 29 year old machine - OEM part found! Great job Scott and Nashua Outdoor Power.
I went down to them to have my push mower looked at. They were able to diegnose the problem quickly. I would highly recommend them
Knowledgeable staff and fair prices. Highly recommend.
STAY AWAY! Bought a tractor from them about 2 years ago and it took several weeks for them to get simple financing right. I had to go in numerous times to discuss the same finances over and over again. After they finally got that right, it took them several tries to get the delivery right. Absolutely terrible.
Great they worked on my snow blower did service and I picked it up. Everybody that I had contact with were great customer service representative thanks keep up the good work
Went in today to buy a new zero turn mower. Took 5 minutes or walking around before the sales associate yelled over from his desk across the store if I needed help. After explaining what I was looking for he proceeded to search on his computer for the next 5 minutes. After this long period I started walking around the store again waiting for him to finish. After his long search he started shouting prices from his seated position to me in the other room!!! When I walked over to actually talk and understand the prices I found out they were higher than what was listed right on the machine!! When I questioned him about it, he asked me to go over and get the model number so he could look it up. When I told him I refused to do his job he huffed and for the first time got up from his chair. After asking one more question about the machine and getting a nasty response I told him that he clearly doesn’t need my business and proceeded to leave. I will never step foot in Nashua power again. Not to mention I will be sure to let the rest of my brand new neighborhood whom all need lawn equipment the same thing.
Never met two owners like Fred and Christine, that have so much passion and energy for their business year after year. Its always a pleasure dealing with their many employees. Matt the General Manager is very professional and accommodating. I drive an hour and a half from Plymouth MA to Nashua. I wish we had a company like theirs close to us.
Came in to order Echo parts. Parts deck people were efficient, prices were lower here than anywhere I found online. No problems
Terrific service! My first time using them, I took my snowblower and John Deere tractor there for service during their busy time this winter. They not only did a great job and fixed everything, but they expedited the service by having one of their techs come in on their day off to make sure they could get my equipment back to me before a big snowstorm. Now thats service, caring about your customers! Thank you to Jeff in service. On top of that their service pricing is reasonable and they even gave me a small discount (probably because they did a lot of work for me). I have no hesitation recommending their service department and will definitely be using them again!
Worst service EVER. Bought a tractor from them. Every time we schedule service, they fail to show up. Call and always get an answering machine and no call back. Last Saturday we waited all day. NO one. came and we supposedly were the FIRST call of the morning. My husband went in on Monday. Apologies. We are now scheduled for tomorrow (THURSDAY) service, BUT we were supposed to receive a call prior to noon on Wednesday. Surprise. No call. Just called. Pressed the option for service and it rang through to parts. Parts answered, listened to the fact I was trying to find out when my service was scheduled and then promptly hung up on me. Called back and got Sales this time. Again, person listened and supposedly will call me back soon with my appointment time. Not holding my breath for a call back. This is what it is continually like to schedule service with Nashua Power.
Every time I enter this store the wait is exceptionally long and it appears sales people disperse from their conversations to all corners of the store when I enter. My previous experience with this establishment was just ok but the sales experience this was disappointing this time.I had my credit card ready to pay for two items but looks like I’ll be going elsewhere.Waste of my time.
Had my model # when I went in and lickety-split they got the riding lawnmower belts I needed. Fast friendly service at parts desk.
This company has no sense of customer satisfaction from the top down. For them, its all about sales. DO NOT buy from or service your power equipment with them. You have been warned.
Great shop. The staff is professional and courteous. Great inventory and VERY clean showrooms. Will shop there again and recommend to others.
A very very comfortable atmosphere knowledge was beyond belief and I would definitely return!
Bought an Ariens 28 Sho last month. Doesn’t seem to run right. Back fires a lot when idling, and runs very lean. Smell is strong and gives me head aches when using. Runs okay when under load, but immediately runs lean, and back fires as if the choke is slightly on when idling. I’ve dropped off at service twice, and after weeks with no call backs, and their management rushing me out, it still doesn’t run correct. I’ve asked to exchange it, or at the very least, see how other snowblowers run. I was told an exchange was too complicated, and that listening to other machines won’t help due to the current temperatures right now. I’m not a small engine engineer, but if my snow blower runs different than the same one on their floor, we can assume somethings wrong? I can see why they refused. Lastly, and the main reason I’m writing this review, is Jeff in Amherst told me he thinks I just wanted to buy a snow blower, use it once, and then try to return it. Why would I buy an upgraded snowblower for 1400.00 from a dealer in cash, and why ask for an exchange? I have never been treated like this ever, and I’m disgusted, and insulted. I just moved to the area in Hollis, purchased a new home, and need a lot of equipment. Was hoping to start a great relationship with this dealer, given my hobbies with firewood, and property maintenance. I will never buy from them again, and I’ve alerted everyone I know looking for equipment. Thanks for the warm welcome to the area Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment. You just lost a life time customer, and it appears, based on reviews, I’m not the first. You need to closely review your customer service principles. I’m also forwarding this to Ariens.
In early February of 2018, I called Nashua Outdoor Power and began speaking to Brian about purchasing an entire fleet of Exmark mowers. Over the next 4 weeks, Brian answered any and all questions I had pertaining to the new equipment. When we arrived to pick up the mowers, their entire staff was polite and professional. Both Brian and John went the extra mile accommodating us and having everything set up. They are polite, knowledgeable and true professionals. We will most definitely be returning in the following years for future business.
Very helpful and knowledgeable team. Looking forward to continuing to work with them.
Always helpful, very knowledgeable, talented and, above all, honest. From sales to service to parts to rentals, these folks just want to make you happy. No false promises, no hype just goods old-fashioned concern about the customer. And the process are great!
Top notch service. Super friendly staff. No high pressure sales here. Have all the high end equipment, not the Home Depot versions.
Great service. Great products. If you know what you want you can order online. And they call you when its ready for pick up. When you pick it up they take the time to show you how to operate the power equipment you have purchased.
Mike in parts was excellent..answered my questions and had all the parts I needed.
Great service. Helpful staff. Could not say enough good things about the folks here.
Amazing! I purchased a snow blower from them today they set it up and delivered it for free! I called them because I wasnt sure if I was using it correctly and they came to my house that day to show me how to use it and take care of it! This was the best service ever you could never get that at a hardware store simply amazing! Oh and they had the same prices as the big stores :)
Very knowledgeable, no pressure, friendly sales. I bought a snowblower at 4:30 on a Friday and it was delivered by noon on Saturday. Even the driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, great experience.
Always helpful and resourceful. I went in with little info on what I needed and they were able to sort it out.
Sales person was terrible. Luckily I knew what I wanted before I came in. Went to pick the mower up and they could not even find it. Once they found it, the kid gave it to me and when I turned around he was gone. Nobody explained the machine to me. No manuals, no spare key, now oil tube. Then I linked back and the place was closed. I later complained and was told a packet would be mailed to me. Two months later still nothing. They take your money quick enough then you mean nothing. Very disappointed and very surprised. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Easy rental process and great selection of rental items.
Very helpful staff and not pushy to buy anything.
Absolutely horrible experience. I gave them my lawn tractor for a minor repair in late October/early November of 2017. They said they would have it back to me in 2-3 weeks which was perfect because I was hoping to apply a final winterizer fertilization. Three weeks later I hadn’t heard from them so I called only to find out that they had lost me and my tractor in their database. Two weeks later they said they had found my tractor but they weren’t going to start working on it as the winter repairs were taking precedence. Finally, in February they called and said that they had repaired my tractor and it was ready for delivery. When I spoke with the manager and inquired of a possible discount due to all the issues and the initial turn-around time not even being close to met, he was completely unhelpful and shut me down. I proceeded to post a review similar to this one and as a result received a phone call from the manager in which he said he would give me a discount if I removed the post. Jumping to current day (May, 2018), I have used my lawn tractor twice and during the second use, the issue that was supposedly repaired was just as bad if not worse than when I initially took it to them. I called the manager to inquire about them repairing it for free and providing a loaner in the mean-time (as I can’t afford to go another 4 months with out a lawn tractor during the summer) and once again, he shut me down. These guys are an absolute joke.
Took in my Toro snowblower that had a recall on it. Service dept said they didnt know how to look up recalls but would look into it, and wouldnt hold on to my machine in the meantime. They called back and stated my machine didnt need to be recalled. Quick chat with Toro customer service verified my machine did indeed need the recall. Very poor customer experience, probably wont be back.
This is the only place Ive found that is worth going to for all of my yard equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable, the prices are fair and so far I havent had to wait for them to order any parts I need. They seem to have them all on hand.
Not Reliable. Scheduled an appointment to have equipment picked up. Received no voicemail about any reschedule. Equipment sat outside for a couple days until i checked on. I had to call the business to schedule a new pick up time. Unfortunately now the work wont get done until after i had planned to use it. Im hopeful that if they ever get to the job, that the work will be done well. So far, disappointed
You dont really appreciate how good a snowblower can be- unless you have had one that doesnt work. I bought a new Toro PowerMax HD 826 from Nashua Outdoor about 4 years ago and it changed my winters. (It still starts FIRST PULL!) Great deal- great service and great people-- highly recommended!
I have bought some lawn equipment from them in the past and their sales guys are usually not very polite. Whenever I tried to negotiate the price, their attitude changes immediately and they never try to work with the customer. Terrible experience every time I visited the place. Ill look for other dealers who treat their customers better and try to work with them on pricing.
I didnt know anything about John Deere and was thinking of buying one locally. I wanted mostly a loader type for stone, dirt, mulch, rocks etc... Wanting information of different types of machines and there limitations I drove an hr up to John Deere in Nashua. I went to the first store and was met with very friendly professional people who explained that the tractors were sold at another building up the road towards Milford NH. I went to the second location and there was a gentleman on the phone in his office. I waited and he asked what he could do for me while he was waiting on the line. I explained that I was thinking of buying a 1996 JD 455 locally but knew nothing about them. He immediately said that he was extremely busy but the 455 was a nice garden tractor then went back to talking on the phone. I waited and would of waited until he was done but he stopped the conversation and said again I am extremely busy and it would be a while.. I said thats fine I just wanted to know what attachments and was about to ask limitations.. he stopped me and for the third time told me he was busy that if I wanted to come back and go through a book with his parts guy I could.. the 455 was a nice machine and that he recently sold the loader attachment for it. (hope this jogs his memory if he reads this) now I get that people are busy and I totally understood so I walked out and figured I would come back another time.. I decided to go in back and look at some of the new machines for myself.. I was there for about 10 minutes when a older couple pulled up.. the next thing I know the extremely busy salesman is following the couple to a machine in front and talking about attachments, what it can do .. how nice the machine was and spent almost 20 minutes with them for them to say that the machine is not for them and drove off.. Heres the kicker Mr. Salesman. At that particular time. I had a $7000.00 down payment and great credit. I seen the 455 for sale but I wasnt sold on it... because you thought I wasnt a sale, I didnt matter to you. Had you took the time to tell me about the limitations of the 455.. and gave me more than 3 minutes of your time I may of bought the very machine you were speaking to the other couple about...Experience wasnt all that bad.. there were some mechanics in back who were very courteous and did answer questions about some of the dump trailers there.
Really wish I could rate this as 0 stars, but unfortunately that’s not an option. Took my John Deere D140 mower deck to Nashua Outdoor Power for a minor repair of an idler spindle. After waiting 1 week, the service department informed me that my four-year-old mower deck was “junk” and needed full replacement. It’s important to note I bought my John Deere from them. So much for standing behind your product. After telling me a new mower deck would cost approximately $1200 I respectfully declined this egregious fleecing and was immediately told to stick around so we could “settle up”. This is when they porked me for a $45 fee associated with a declined estimate. What respectable company would treat their customer client this way? Someone who asks to receive reviews like this one. Ended up taking my business to a local repair shop who fixed my deck for $120. That’s right 1/10 of Nashua Outdoor’s estimate. This is the LAST time I EVER use their service department. Buyer beware.
Knowledgeable friendly sales and service people keep the top lines . The only negative is that they are closed on Sunday
Great service and courteous people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
Had to get some belts for a old sears snowblower. Mike did his research check several times both on computer and instock going out back upstairs and he found exactly what. I needed. His service and caring was unbelievable. Thanks for having a great guy on site to work with.
We have had nothing but excellent experiences at Nashua Power. We bought our Honda mower and Ariens snowblower from them and the sales, parts and service department has always been great to deal with. You dont get this kind of knowledge and product quality at the big box stores. Highly recommend going here.
Outstanding service
These guys are 5 stars and first class. Knowledgeable, honest, and very reasonable. We are lucky to have this business in our area.
Great parts inventory and knowledgeable/helpful staff
Great customer service
Great place for all your outdoor equipment. Service is top notch.
Worst service ever! have been waiting 31 days for fixing my lawn tractor. They picked it up month ago, I called after 1st week, I was told they did not looked at it yet, I got call at 2nd Week, they looked it and estimate about $760, thats about half price of New tractor, I said ok fix it. I thought they can fixed it at 3rd week, but at 3rd week I was told they need order new deck. Then I expected I can get tractor back at 4th week? But last week, a guy called me said same story again they need order new deck!! Now I dont have expection after month waiting, they dont know what they are doing, they dont think about costomer need at all!
Excellent service.
Wow. Surprisingly, I did not have the best experience. I liked the John Deere tractor that I bought, but I went through two sales persons within a single tractor sale over a 2 week period. First, they had an incorrect price ($45 higher) on one of their parts due to their own typo that I had to point out and they corrected. Then they sold me the snowblower parts for my John Deere tractor and delivered all the parts in their boxes, but never offered me their $200 installation service. So after discovering this headache, I had to ask and request the service later. Finally, they offered a service credit of $45 early on - but never applied the credit to my final order. I had to ask for that later too. Not the best I guess. I dont buy tractors that often, but next time I probably will look at other places first. I might come back, but Id be very much on the watch for this stuff. You should too.
Great customer service, they unloaded my trailer quick
I went there for a snow blower auger cable. They had it on stock for a reasonable price. Very knowledgable salesmen.
I am leaving a five star rating based on my initial experience with these guys. I spoke to John over the phone about two snowblowers. He said he had what I wanted, answered every question and gave me a great price on the units. When I arrived, the two units were already made ready (I still hadnt paid for them), he honored the price given over the telephone and again answered all my questions. To complete my transaction I dealt with a salesperson (I forget his name), he was equally as polite and helpful. Nice store, they had a complete parts counter and service center.Thanx guys, you are proof that well run B&M stores can compete with online stores.
This rating is for the service dept. it is my only experience and will be my only experience.1. Later than promised delivery of mower after service.2. Removed and replaced mower blades that had 3 mows on them without asking permission.3. Claimed they could not be sharpened after challenged.4. I asked that removed blades be returned so I could put them back on when new blades dulled, they agreed.5. Never returned the removed blades (wonder why?)Won’t be back.
Great effort done by the owner Mr. Hayden to correct the problem. Thanks to him.
Very helpful and efficient. Friendly customer service
There was a scheduling mix up with my rental of some power equipment. That was frustrating but people make mistakes. What shows the quality of an organization is how they make those mistakes right. Wayne in the service/rental department bent over backwards to fix the issue and get me the equipment I needed just a few days later than scheduled. I will definitely go back to them for my rental needs.
I purchased a $2600.00 Ariens Snow Thrower and was sold a defective one. Not only were we over charged because it was a Sunday(according to the salesman) but the thing broke the 1st time we used it. The chute frame weld broke and we had to use it by turning the chute by hand! And then the lock nuts broke off and the handle fell off! This is a commercial rated machine? Hard to believe. To their defense a very nice employee named Beth handled the issue great and never charged us even after 3 trips to our house. She even called on her personal cell phone when their phone lines went down. She even said I could call her on it in the future. I hope she is well appreciated by the owners! Its nice to know they stood behind the product. I will never buy another Ariens product again but will buy from Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment. Just not on a Sunday and not from that salesman!
Been going to NOP since it opened.ive personally dealt with the owner on several of my purchases. I went in with an idea of what I wanted but the knowledgable sales staff set me straight and explained why what I wanted wouldnt work and actually saved me money by selling me a lesser model .I never had any problem with any warranty or service. They even warrantied a string trimmer I bought somewhere else.i will always buy my power equipment from a dealer never a big box stores. The equipment is not the same quality. As they showed me from my only big box store purchase.
Terrible service. I gave my lawnmower for replacing two cables. and asked for an estimate for this precise service. They never let me know how much they charged. When I came to pick it up they evaded my questions in nasty ways. The manager wasnt ready to answer my questions either. They also charge for the cleaning rags and liquid although these are regular tools used in the trade and tax reimbursable . Very expensive and antagonistic service. If you dont agree with them they will still charge you $45.
Very disappointing service - unaccountable and irresponsible crew - unacceptableI purchased a John Deere lawnmower from Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment last week. I was told it will be delivered on Saturday; mind you I wasnt looking for a rush delivery as I wasnt planning on using it for few weeks. I was told someone will call on Friday to schedule the delivery. When it was almost the end of the day and i didnt receive any calls, I called . I was told the delivery will happen the following day between 10:00 and 1:00. At 3:00 when it didnt arrive, I called them. I was told, the driver didnt show up that day and that they will have to reschedule for Tuesday. Though they wasted my Saturday, I just let it go. I called Monday to confirm, I was told delivery will take place in the Tuesday AM. Tuesday at noon when they didnt show up, I called again. I was told the driver is on his way. At 4:50 when the driver didnt show up, I called again. This time the person who answered the phone (named Jose), tells me that the delivery is scheduled for the following Saturday. When I questioned what happened, he told me arrogantly the computer shows the following Saturday as the delivery day and he is not sure why I thought it should have been delivered last Saturday or today. The computer shows Saturday he says. When I told him about all previous confirmation and gave names of the people I talked to confirm before. He said very casually, he is the manager and his computer shows a different day for delivery. This manager, simply dismissed the two days I wasted waiting for their driver. No apologies, no willingness to inquire within about what happened. He was sticking to his story that he doesnt know about the two other missed deliveries, as he didnt talk to me personally, and simply it is my issue. He said he doesnt need to talk to anyone about why they didnt deliver in the past two time because the computer shows next Saturday as the delivery date.I was left to believe that this store doesnt deliver to or honor their promises. I will be doomed if I trust this store with the purchase or future service of the equipment. This store didnt not earn my trust. This is the worst experience I have by far for ages.Hello Elizabeth, thank you for your reply about my complaint. I was expecting that someone from Nashua Power Equipment would call me to inquire about my compliant in an effort to make things better. But instead you are asking me to rethink my language? I am not sure what you are referring to by inappropriate language? Well, I am taking your response as a way to deflect your quality issues and poor service, you are actually trying to bully your customers, really sad :( I ask you to please confirm my inappropriate language claim with all Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment employees I talked to 6-7 employees including 2 sales people (when I ordered the tractor and when I cancelled the order) and the 4-5 service people I talked to. If anything, the last service person I talked to was very insulting. Please feel free to call me if you really want to investigate this further . Have a good day and good luck with your business.
This used to be the top place around to buy and service equipment. I was just told that it would be over a month before they could look at my snowthrower to give it a winter tune up. I have a whole warehouse ahead of you Perhaps they need to hire some additional staff?
Purchased an X390 lawn tractor w/snowblower at the Amherst facility. Geoff Couris was very knowledgable and helpful in understanding my needs and requirements. I have had an opportunity to use the equipment twice since purchase in what could arguably be the most difficult conditions (water logged and wet heavy snow) and surprisingly had no problems whatsoever. It appears to be a well built tractor with an excellent warranty.
Great place if you need parts
Friendly staff, great customer service, overall wonderful experience. Definitely coming back again.
Awful experience. We were sold equipment that we later found out was discontinued. They have had our tractor for 5 weeks waiting for a snow package. I received only 1 returned phone call after multiple messages including standing in their office for an hour refusing to leave without some type of update.Delivery has been rescheduled 3x and they refuse to commit to a time frame. They got my $6000 this year and Ive got nothing but frustration. John Deere should drop them.Theyll never get another cent from me.
Friendly service and fast turn around on parts
Theres is real big problem with Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment. When picking up my Honda snowblower after 5 weeks, the service department indicated my snowblower had a 2 year warranty and I would be charged for the repair. They showed me the warranty information in their computer system. Then, I showed them the warranty information from the Honda website which reads my snowblower had a 3 year warranty. The service department person spoke to the manager and magically, my snowblower WAS covered under warranty and there was no charge.Like many of the other reviews, the average repair time is 4-6 weeks. I brought my snowblower to the same place I purchased it, Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment. When dropping it off, no one mentioned it would be up to 4 weeks to repair. I was told this only when calling to see how the repair was progressing, after 2 weeks. The problem is all the other Honda dealers were also quoting 4-6 weeks repair time. This is an obvious issue if there are snow storms approaching. When my snowblower is out of warranty in 2019, I will definitely NOT bevisiting Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment for ANY repairs or purchases.UPDATE:Thank you for your reply. But it is Booooogus. The warranty on Honda snow blower has been 3 years since 2010. This is direct from Honda website:The following warranty applies to products purchased at retail or placed in rental service on or after January 1, 2010.Snow Throwers, Snow Blowers:Models HS520 and HS720 Series -- Private Residential = 24months, Rentals = 3monthsAll other Snow Throwers, Snow Blowers (except as listed above) = 36months.Now you really, really dont have my trust. If anyone needs any service at all, please: Go Somewhere Else
Avoid this dealer at all costs, they will take advantage of you. Travel to another dealer to avoid being ripped off at their service department. Ive had much better luck at Rosencrantz Deere. I dropped my tractor off for a new starter switch, starter solenoid and fluid change....a tractor that has never leaked a drop of fluid, ever. Got a call two weeks later with an estimate to fix it of $2600. They told me that it would be $193 x3 plus labor to service the mower deck instead of swapping out the bearings in each spindle for about $10 each x6 plus labor. They blew a hole in my radiator by pressure testing it. I did not ask them to apply pressure to a 20yr old, non-leaking radiator....of course this will cause problems. It was not leaking....i just wanted new coolant now i need a new radiator at $800 plus labor. Again, choose another dealer....Rosencrantz and Padula are not far off. There will likely be some fictitious response to this review by the dealership but my negative review isnt their first, read below...there are several.UPDATE: took the tractor to another dealer and they confirmed that i was scammed at nashua power....BEWARE. The second dealer tightened a radiator hose....FOR FREE....the radiator does not leak as nashua stated....saved 1k$ on this alone. They also put new bearings in my mower deck and said that the spindles are fine. In response to Mr. Parlatores response....he never offered to go over the machine with me nor did he offer to come to my house to look at it. Go to another dealer.
BEWARE!!! Run Away!!!!When our tractor was delivered after service the Driver blocked the driveway and asked my wife for a credit card number. She provided the number and he left without finishing the work. (He was supposed to remove the mower deck) I had to call their location to get the driver to return to do their job. I got about my day. Later, I get a call from them asking for payment. I told them that we gave the driver the credit card number (I watched the entire exchange between the driver and my wife as he was blocker her from leaving for work). The driver denied getting the credit card number. The manager was hostile, laughed at us and said that he would just return to our home at take the tractor. I paid again under duress. After calling back, he refused to give me his name and double charged our credit card. When I tried to call back to get his full name for the police I was hung up on.Do not do business with these people, they are not trustworthy. The Manager will mock you and laugh at you.Now we have to contact our credit card company and get new cards and dispute the double charges.
Great job on my snowblower. It’s kicking again!
Simply the best place for any power equipment
Had my snowblower tuned up in the fall, and it worked once and wouldnt start again. When I called, they blamed it on bad gas and said they werent responsible
First let me just say the sales guy I had was great, no issue in that department at all. As for the service department, I bought my Husqvarna zero turn In July, loved the thing, and after less then 6 hrs I belt started fraying, so I called up and explained I would need a new belt. At the time I couldnt make the hour drive so I waited a couple days before I dropped it off, I explained this to the service guy ( so I gave them a couple days head start to order the belt) I dropped it off and the service guy that was rude from the beginning said we have to order a belt should be done in a couple days. Well we are now on the 9th day and no belt yet, I have been the one to call each day to check the status of the mower, I have not received one phone call letting me know weather or not the belt has arrived ( which to me is outrageous, if you sell a product you should at least have a belt and other parts in stock). I called a few other dealers and Husqvarna service shops and they told me that they have never had a issue with parts being delivered to them. I am never the type to write a bad review but this is totally ridiculous! I am now forced to borrow a mower from a friend in order to cut my lawn!!!! I hope this finds the right manager and this issue gets resolved before it happens to another customer!UPDATE: 9/22/2016 The Service Manager at Nashua Outdoor Power Personally took care of my issues, the belt was replaced and mower was delivered to me by the manager.... I still havent mowed with it, so I will update once I have mowed a few times! I have also changed my star rating due to the kind action of the Service Manager
Ignorant sales staff, immoral service department.
