If you want to partner with a company that has poor business practices, then use Crown Linen. They acquired our account by buying out New England Linen. Increased our pricing 50 percent then 6 months later another 50% - all throughout a pandemic. I contacted customer service to ask that I be locked into a fair market contract yet their response was this is an ownership decision to sustain this pricing model. Prices over 50 percent of market and they do not care. Drove out customers by just increasing pricing to an unsustainable level. Terrible business to have as a vendor.
We have been a loyal client of Crown for over 8 years. We have been growing our business and purchase volume every year by over 30%. I just audited my charges and they have been placing hidden charges and fees and they are actually twice the price as many of their competitors. After calling them to discuss they sent Dave Lamontagne, an account executive out to meet with us. After missing his first appointment with us we finally met with him. what a disappointment. He was arrogant and would not even listen to our issues. He basically passed the buck on everything he told us he does not need to accommodate us since we are locked into a contract. Thats what we receive from them for service after 8 loyal years. Contract or no contract I am cancelling the service out of principal. What a terrible display of customer service and lack of professionalism. Stay away from this company.
They take the best care of there employees my father loved working for them
A reliable service with great customer care.
The last post on this company was 4-years ago. I am here to say that they have not improved any during that time. Worst linen company (or vendor in general) that I have had to deal with since I have been in business. Hidden fees and high costs as mentioned previously by the other poster. Aggressive sales practices and overall poor customer service. Its clear that the salespeople are on commission and if they are going to continue to exist as a company, then they seriously need to review their compensation structure and employee incentives. They try to oversell you on things you dont need, and dont take any responsibility for their own mistakes despite being given ample opportunities to fix them. Worst part is they will try to stick you with all kinds of charges and penalties if you reduce your order or express a desire to cancel as they clearly state that you can in their own agreement. I would have been better off having never dealt with them at all in the first place. I will avoid them at all costs in the future. You can have a relationship with a different company for a fraction of the cost. Our new vendor is literally charging us 1/3 of what Crown charged us and there have been no complaints from our employees about the quality of their service or products. We also have not had issues with their sales practices. Do yourself a favor and shop around.
