One of the best shop for halal meat. Initially I thought butcher guy was rude, but after he had his food (at 11 am ), he was nice and friendly. We bought the whole backleg and meat was nice. The shop itself having various regional(Middle East) grocery collection. Shop and product management is nice. I haven’t tried their bread but when I was there it looks yummy. Many people came and bought their bread. Price of the meat is also average. Location of the shop is right on the junction. Appearance of the shop from outside looks not clean and little intimidating. But once you are in staff and store are welcoming. I will definitely come back and suggest to my friends. Be friendly with the staff and they will do so 👍.

Everything is good except they are little rude and not friendly. The cook yelled at my friend when she uncovered the food to check what inside it, she did not touch it but it was outside the kitchen in a Buffett style where anyone would think that they can check the food. The cashier lady barley want to talk to you and you feel that she is disgusted . Never again. There are more than 6 Arabic grocery stores in Nashville so why I would be back to rude customer service.

They cheat on everything, on prices and meat they will give you meat and tell you fresh but when you arrive at home and check the meat, it’s Restaurant Depot meat, DONT BUY THERE ANYTHING

This place is absolutely disgusting. I was there for 5 minutes and almost all of the shelf items were expired.

In general they are good, but the only problem one of the butcher men really rude. For Qrbani, I asked him to backed meat in 2 Ib bags and he was really upset and talking back why and you should tell me that from the beginning. His attacked me verbally and I am not going there anymore. So if you are going to deal with the butcher man please be careful or better a man deal with him.

Dont go here...very unhygienic. They dont wear mask or gloves. Meat is old and tasteless. Expensive and the meat guy is extremely rude and will give you the meat according to his choice. You end up waiting in a long line with people who dont care about social distance and end up paying high price for stale meat.

Their price are so good, I like their Barbari (kind of middle eastern bread) more than other places just a reason I reduce one star is they can do renovation on their store and make it look more neat, their cashier could speak at least : Kurdish, Arabic, Persian and English so it feels good for all middle eastern to be there and shopping there

Items don’t have price on them ! You take the stuff to the register and the guy charges u for whatever he wants! I bought two boxes of gum two boxes were the same! Delicious fresh naan straight from a tandoori oven. Many fresh baked breads. Delicious fresh sesame bread. Wonderful Kurdish food - lockmasheem- fresh baked flat bread covered in seasoned lamb... yum! Very friendly! Great prices! It was an hour drive for me but well worth it. I’ll be back! So thankful to have found this place... heard about it on a show Andrew Zimmerman recently did about where to eat in Nashville. FYI, the bakery section is tucked around back behind racks of bread... won’t see it unless looking for it.

This was a better place to get meat years back.. things changed months back... now its one of the worst places to get meat.. the butcher is such a lousy fellow. if I ask 4 LB he gives 7 LB of meat and expects me to take the entire thing.. this is nonsense.. why is he agreeing to give 4 LB in first place when he intends to sell more.. its only bones they are selling recently, to ppl who dont buy more than 7 LB.. the butcher talks stories to regular bulky buyers and forgets rest of them.. THE WORST PART OF IT ALL that made me move away from this is WE FOUND PEPPER BULLET PELLETS in their goat meat. Yes, you heard it right - Pellets made of nickel/iron that kill or injure living beings.. I found no reason for having pellets in meats that are sold in shops for consumption by Human Beings.. this is RIDICULOUS! The only mistake I did was throwing the pellets out instead of escalating it further.. Highly suspicious! I would advise anyone to stay away from this shop...

What a great place and people . My wife and I were looking for a fresh bread . Guess what !! Theres a lady once she saw us picking some bread, she came and asked us Do you need a hot fresh bread !!? Yes we do, we answered . She went to the oven room and grabbed the most fresh and awesome bread I have ever bought in USA . Thank you so much sister . You made our day .

I really wanted to like this place. I love to cook Persian food and Im excited to learn more about Kurdish food. The store itself is OK. They have a lot of products I like (tons of spices, rice, dried fruits & nuts, beans of many varieties, torshi, yogurt, cheese, etc.). The merchandise is kind of haphazardly stocked and its a cramped space but its manageable.Unfortunately, my experience here was not great. There are three things that turned me off. First, few items have the prices marked. I dont like to buy things not knowing how much Im going to pay for them. Second, the bakery situation is confusing. It looks like youre walking into a warehouse. I had no idea how to go about getting bread. There was a metal rack in the back with a few sad looking things on it. No pitas. Did they sell out already by 10:00 in the morning on a Sunday? I grabbed a package of barbari bread off the shelf. It looked OK but its really stale. Finally, and most annoyingly, the people that work here are not friendly. When I went to pay for my stuff I noticed that there were some syrup sweets on the counter. I asked the guy what they were called and how I could buy some. He acted like he didnt really want to help me and actually laughed at me. I immediately wished I hadnt asked (they werent that great anyway).Why would I want to spend money at a store where Im going to be utterly confused, ignored, barely greeted when I buy things, and then made to feel stupid when I have a question? I know this store is not for me, that its a grocery for the Kurdish population in Nashville. I get it. But I dont think that excuses rudeness. I can get 99% of the stuff in this store at Amazon without paying shipping. Dont think Ill be back.

Butcher isnt always there or they dont have any meat most of the time. I have been there 3 times and have been turned away twice. This my last time here. I got here at 7. One hour before closing and thee butcher refused to provide any service and very rude. Save yourself a trip. Go some where else!

I have the worst experience of my life in this place. Scary! Sloppy butcher! Received spoiled meat once and couldnt bare the rotten smell and had to take it back to give them royally. They try to nail you down with lot many lbs of bullet pelleted meat. Pepper bullet pellets in food is totally unacceptable and inhumane. Run by cold hearted people. This shop must be sued.
