I own Rock Bridge Automotive Repair. We have been using Headworks of Nashville for years. I ran Rons Automotive for years before that and we always used Headworks when I was there. If youre looking for good, reliable cylinder head repairs or modifications I would definitely recommend this very reliable shop.

Headworks is a hidden gem. The staff has the type of friendliness, honesty, and respectfulness that you dont see in businesses anymore. The work that they do is incomparable to anyone else around here. I took my heads there a day or two before a holiday, and still got them back about midway through the following week. Pricing-wise... holy cow. I was expecting the total to be way more than what they charged me. I cant recommend headworks enough. They will be my go-to for any head repair from now on.

I cant say enough about how professional these guys are. They did a great job on my old Land Cruiser 2F head, and also coached me through some additional issues I was having with the motor. They will be my go-to for all future head work.

Took heads in for some cleaning and rework. Could have done some of the rework myself however these guys are subject matter experts as all they do is heads. Ended up needing new exhaust valve seats. Which is something beyond my skill and tool level. Showed me before and after pics of of the seat and explained why need. Called me on the phone to see if it was ok before proceeding with the job. Picked there brains and got truthful answers. Listen to them as if they say you dont need ported and polished heads you dont. They will tell you why also. However if you want that they can do that too.Got heads back already primed (to prevent rust) and just need painting. Got another set of heads I will be taking there. Oh and turn around was less than a week.

The good, I was happy with the heads I did get rebuilt by them. And had no issues with themThe bad, quoted $200 over competitor prices and former price I had gotten from them on the same heads 6 months earlier and told me I was mis quoted the first time, told me my $1100 head was unusable and encourage me to purchase another when other shops I took too afterwards couldn’t find a single thing wrong with them.

Recently took my sons KX 85 Motocross engine in to fix (2) studs. One on the cylinder head had backed out and one on the bottom end was missing. Head Works fixed both very fast and at a very affordable price. The studs held the torque fine and the bike works perfect. No more overheating.

A+ for me. Flattened a set of Subaru EJ253 heads that were puking oil and antifreeze with finish acceptable for six star gaskets. Completed quickly. Been chooching along without that dripping stink for a bit. Thanks headworks!

Overheated my BMW. Thought I was going to have to buy a new engine. Pulled the head to find it was cracked. Knew about Headworks of Nashville decided to bring them the head. Showed it to them and they pointed the crack right out, said no problem. Four days later went and picked it up. Put it back on that night and it was running like new. Will be returning with further business.

Glenn and his staff have reworked numerous sets of heads for me over the years. The work was always perfect, the price is always more than fair and they always been ready when promised, if not sooner. Would not even consider taking my machine work elsewhere.
