I put $1200 down on a truck from Charlotte Auto Sales. A couple weeks later I took my truck to inspection and it failed (they guarantee emissions on their vehicles), so I brought it back to them to fix and they kept it for several days. When I got the truck back I went to inspection again and failed again. At this point they told me to take the vehicle to Welltek on 4th Ave where they would pay some Palestinian guy $150 to pass my vehicle. Shortly after having that conversation my truck broke down on the interstate. They towed it back to their shop and kept it for an entire MONTH, the whole time expecting me to continue making payments. During that time I called on a daily basis and visited their shop many times but I never really understood what was wrong because the people working on my truck didnt speak any english. When I finally got the truck back, this week, it broke down again after three days. Ive decided to have my own mechanic take a look at it because I cant afford to be without a truck for another month. When I called today to make a payment on the vehicle I was informed that my account was over $300 passed due for the month that it was in their shop. Mike (the salesman) said it was impossible for them to stop payments once they have started and refused to dismiss the charges despite the fact that Ive given them over $1500 for a broken down truck that I cant get plates for. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Was purchasing a vehicle from them. The engine went out in car. I kept up with car payment for an entire year even though I was not able to drive vehicle. Once I got money up for the engine. They charged me for a 2007 engine but put a 2005 engine in the car. Due to negligence my transmission went out. They refuse to put the correct engine in vehicle after being notified of there mistake.

I called in before i came and stated how much i had for a down payment. i was told over the phone the options i had and had about 5 cars to choose from. i specifically told the representative which one i wanted. When i came in that specific representative was tied up and there was a line going out the door. i was the first person in there so that would have made me the first that should have been seen. After about twenty minutes of standing in line this lady came in and walked straight up to the sales person i was supposed to see and told him she wanted the same car i was waiting in line for for twenty minutes. Of course naturally i was upset. For one, i was waiting in line for someone to at least acknowledge the customers in line, for two it was supposed to be first come first serve but they helped the lady that came barging in first.So, i didnt make a big deal out of it. I just decided i was going to pick a different car. But, when i went out there, the car lot looked like a junk yard. There were two different lots. One behind the building and one across the street. I looked at the other cars i could choose from. The truck still had decal stickers on the back window with someones name spelled out, it was dirty on the inside and out, and there was no radio. The bmw truck had no radio or battery, and there was a pontiac g6. the inside was trashed! this just let me know these cars were not inspected. i now thank God that girl barged in and got that car.i could only imagine what was wrong with it. Customer service-bad, car quality-bad. I walked out and never looked back!
