Dissatisfied with their lack of responses and communication. I can never get anyone to reach out to me regarding my issues. I will not be pursuing with them further.
Wish I could give 0. But this is the worst decision I ever made doing business with this company. I moved after a year of having this service to a place that already has a contract with them built into my rent. But I couldnt cancel my contract with them without paying hundreds in cancellation fees. So now Im paying this company twice every month and still have 2 years left on my original contract with a system that just sits and collects dust. Im wasting money! I wish someone would just file a suite against them because I know there are hundreds if not thousands of customers in this state with them.
This company is absolutely the worst Ive ever dealt with as a consumer. If I could rate a 0 I would!! Payments not being applied to my account, my payment method not properly saved resulting in daily harassing collection calls from the corporate office for at least 4+ months before it was fixed. Faulty equipment for the past year, cameras dont work, fire monitoring equipment frequently has low battery, beeping ect, remote door locks not working, technicians not showing up for scheduled service calls numerous times, poorly trained technicians which often leave me in worse shape than before I make a service call to begin with!They absolutely do not care about you as a customer, do not use this company!!!
I had a situation where my alarms were going off when I was out for the holiday. The technicians were so nice and patient with me and understood my concern about the situation. Words can not express how thankful I was for their professionalism and caring in helping me make decisions when I was so far from home.
We have been a Protection One customer for over 20 years. We decided to go with a less expensive alarm company. We tried by phone, by letter, and again and again by phone and by follow up with a letter to cancel the service. They passed us from one rep to another, and we kept telling them to cancel the service. We received two more monthly bills, and a collection call, after repeatedly telling them we were canceling the service.If I could give them a lower rating, I would. Their customer service is atrocious. There are too many good alternatives for alarm service to put up with this sort of nonsense.
I had an issue with my alarm not communicating with Protection One monitoring service all the time so if there was an emergency they may or may not get help to my house. After several attempts to resolve this and one of their managers hanging up on me I told them I wanted to cancel my service. They informed me if I want to cancel I will have to pay over $700 for contract fee. They are bullies and do not care about their customers.
I had to have one of my vinyl windows replaced and In the process the guy lost the small magnet that was glued to the bottom of the upper window. I called them Saturday morning and the lady said she would e-mail my problem to their service department and they would contact me on Monday. I never heard from them at all. I called them late Monday afternoon and talked to a rude lady about it. She said they would charge me $149. 00 for the first 30 minutes to glue a little magnet to the window. They refused to mail me the part I am very disappointed in customer service from this company.
Id give them ZERO stars if I could!!! The most worthless company we have ever dealt with!!
Terrible customer service, terrible quality of products and definitely NOT worth a penny much less what they charge for service. Save your money and time and go with anyone else.
