If you want disappointment, a lot of headache and a substandard job hire these guys.They did unacceptable job on our new build with the tile shower, backsplash and carpet. They have attempted to fix the shower 4 times without resolution. They refuse to fix the carpets at all. We have had this carpet for just over one year and a lot of the seams are falling apart especially in any walk ways.

I would not recommend Metro Carpets for any work. We had a tile shower done and engineered hardwoods installed by them. The workmanship on the shower is terrible. Many of the tiles were chipped, the grout had gaps in it, and they used the wrong grout color. You could have picked a random person off the street and had them try to tile for the first time and they would do a better job.The flooring was installed AFTER having received confirmation that it would not be installed for a few more weeks to allow the house AC to run. They refused to correct the error, even though we have documentation of them agreeing to NOT install the flooring yet.Do not expect them to do what you ask nor to fix any problems that may occur.

Very disappointed with Metro Carpets lack of effort to stand behind their work. I purchased a new construction home and Metro Carpets installed the wrong tile in all of the bathrooms. They installed a mat version of the tile instead of the glossy version. This was corrected in all the other new builds in the neighborhood w/this tile selection except for mine. I even tried to compromise and just asked for them to correct the owners bathroom only but Metro refuses to fix their error nor have they even offered me any type of compensation for their error. I gave them 2 stars because the people that work there have been very nice. Unfortunately, the higher ups/decision makers arent making any effort to make this right even though the builder told them they only offer the glossy version in their design center.

Ive edited this from my original review because they finally did the right thing.Original review paraphrased: Poor after sale care, unprofessional, imply you caused damage that is clearly manufacturer defect, insist multiple times you pay for manufacturing defect replacement.It was originally explained to me that numerous inspection reports did not indicate a defect, nor did the pictures taken show a defect (pictures taken from a standing position, several feet away). My claim called their whole inspection and reporting into question, they just didnt want to admit that their installers made a mistake by installing defective product.Original stars 1, edited stars 3.After they agreed to send a tech out for a re-inspection, one that I challenged them to find and indication at all that I caused this damage, it was determined that both cracks were, in fact, manufacturing defects. This determination came after about a months worth of back and forth, sometimes going a week without any comment from Metro until I asked for progress. Once it was proven to them that it wasnt the homeowners fault, they finally moved forward. Within a week the replacement materials were in, appointment made, and the defective boards were replaced.It was claimed to be a misunderstanding between the inspection report, the inspection for warranty work, and the warranty department. Whether or not thats the real truth, I dont know, but I never received an apology from Metro for essentially me a liar for weeks and blaming me for manufacturing defects.I still recommend that you find someone else to do your flooring, as youll probably be disappointed at some point in the process. Heaven help you if you need warranty work!

Lightning struck the house a week ago. Damaged some flooring so I called the place that installed the the flooring originally when the house was built. However after explaining my situation and and still dealing with insurance the only the thing they were concerned with was getting payment up front. Sight unseen. Didn’t care to even diagnose the problem before asking for money. Very disappointed. But doubt they even care they lost multiple customers. If I could’ve have given zero stars I would have

They installed flooring in my new house. So far:1. a portion of shower floor started sinking and grout breaking up;2. The grout for tile around the jacuzzi cracked most of the way around;3. Cracking grout in master bath floor- they supposedly fixed with me expressing my concerns about the way they were fixing and they said if the issue returns in a year, two, or three, theyll come back and fix. I recorded that conversation. Its returned and so far (almost a week after my call to them last week) they havent even returned my call (yes, I gave details as to the issue). This is my 5th new house and Ive never had flooring sinking or floor grout cracking up. VERY POOR QUALITY WORK in my opinion.
