Delicious donuts! We wait until later in the week to visit for cinnamon rolls which are not available every day of the week. Hubby always says he doesnt like cake donuts and he eats theirs up. Donuts are a bit more pricey but they are super big and taste wonderful. Im glad we dont live closer or we would have more of a weight problem.

One of my favorite donuts in East Nashville. Great Apple fritters and “old-fashioned” donuts. Grab on the go or stay in the restaurant where they have plenty of seating. Employees have always been very nice and the restaurant is always clean.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! Best donuts in Nashville (and I’ve explored them all)! I got half a dozen donuts (for taste testing purposes). Lol. The honey glaze??? So glad I bought two! They melt in your mouth. The buttermilk was delicious. The strawberry was amazing. The chocolate glaze was so good. And the Apple fritter? Yum!!! The coffee was quite good as well. Friendly staff. Very clean. This is my new spot! FYI: I went in the morning so the donuts were warm. The best!!!

First of all, their raspberry filled powdered donut will have your mouth watering after the first bite. Second, their coffee is so delicious, I got the iced vanilla cappuccino, and on top of that the service was awesome! I will definitely be returning!

Great donuts but its hard to enjoy because they are normally sold out of the apple fritters or original glaze or some of the other great flavors before 10 a.m.😳However, the donuts are huge and they taste even better warmed up. If youre looking for a traditional donut with a good taste and nothing fancy, this is your spot! I normally stop by on Sundays but be prepared to wait a little, they normally only have one person working. Thats ok, just bring your patience with you. 😁Staff is friendly also!

Dont have any pictures of the donuts because we ate them too quickly. My wife appreciated that they had vegan donuts, she got all three flavors to try. I thought the vegan ones tasted a little weird so I didnt like them (which is not always the case I’ve had really good ones before). But their normal donuts were excellent

What a great place. Traveling from MI and was Craving donuts, so I checked the reviews and decided to give the place a try. Big mistake, after sitting in the car eating a cinnamon roll before I got on the road, I had to go back in and get 2 more. Probably the best doughnut I’ve had in a long time...hopefully I’ll make it to Nashville again soon, and status dough will definitely be on my list of places to go.

Several months ago, as I was waiting in a drive-in for a boozy donut in a line of one other vehicle that hadnt moved in 15 minutes, I decided to go on up the road and check out Status Dough instead. I am SO thankful I did.The old-fashioned donuts are my go-to and once I was able to hit the Nutella paçzki jackpot (delicious). Since I dont spend anything at bars anymore, I have more money to spend on donuts. A HAPPY ENDING FOR ALL.Also note: if you want a donut that costs 50 cents please invent a time machine and go back to the 1980s for a donut half the size of the ones you get at Status Dough made with cheaper ingredients from a corporate entity that cares about cutting costs not pleasing customers. I SAID WHAT I SAID

The worst yeast donut I have ever had. My friend had the buttermilk donut and she said it was worth the rating that they have. If you go here, get the buttermilk and stay away from the yeast.

Just moved to Nashville TN. Saw this cool trendy doughnut shop while driving to Kroger. Went this morning and was surprised to see how big the donuts were. Love the name and the donuts did not disappoint. Will definitely come here again.

Yum! I picked up three different vegan donuts to surprise a friend and couldn’t resist grabbing an apple fritter for myself. Fritter was excellent and my friend said the same about the vegan donuts. I love that they have the vegan category and it’s clear that they take great care and pride in creating their donuts. Owner was very friendly and personable. I will definitely be back. Really wanted to like this place, but was not a big fan of the donuts. The buttermilk old fashion was very good, but we got three other donuts and they did not impress. For as expensive as the donuts are, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Status Dough serves the best donuts in Nashville. By far. Not only are the donuts the tastiest in town, theyre reasonably priced. And they serve Intelligentsia coffee. The treats were so delicious. Especially the apple fritter, the vanilla cake donut, the boston cream donut, ok all of them. All of the donuts were perfection.

Super nice staff, but the donuts werent great. They tasted like a sourdough yeast, as if the yeast had gone off. The chocolate glaze was more espresso than cocoa. Giant in size, but not as great as we were expecting.

OH MY GOSH!The Honey Glazed donut was one of the most fresh, moist, and flavorful donuts Ive had in a while! I am always on the look out for Blueberry Cake donuts, but decided to go with an OG(original glazed) donut. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I did not even have time to take a picture of the donut because it was devoured. That good! Melt in your mouth. And they even refilled my own mug!If youre in search of a friendly atmosphere where you wont have to burn 900 calories after eating this treat of a donut, dont hesitate to pop in to Status Dough and grab a delicious treat!

Staff is always friendly and the vanilla latte is pretty good too. They are doing call-ahead curbside pickup right now during the pandemic. In addition to the cakey old-fashioned donuts, they have a giant plain glazed reminiscent of Krispy Kreme, an enormous powdered and strawberry-filled pacziki and some other varieties including gluten-free options. Give them a try -- you wont be disappointed!

I went early Saturday morning and the doughnuts were still warm. I ordered a cinnamon roll and an apple fritter. They were sooo good! I love apple fritters and their fritter is great! The right amount of sweetness with just enough crunch around the edges. I think their Apple Fritter is up there with East Park Donutss fritter, and EPD has a great fritter. The cinnamon roll is huge! I split the roll and still had plenty. Id say theyre one of the best donut shops in Nashville already. Most of the flavors (that I saw) are traditional donut shop flavors. None of the unnecessarily unique flavors that so many bakeries are trying to do these days. Ill try the crullers next time Im there. Im a fan of Status Dough so far!

I am so glad that Status Dough finally opened in Nashville. I am in Nashville more than Knoxville and now I don’t have to travel that far for my doughnut fix. If you arent aware of the doughnut craze to hit Chicago and the coasts, these doughnuts put up a great fight for the Best Doughnut prize. Fresh, huge, and run by locals. Staff is super friendly. Coffee is superb. Definitely stop in. I always do.
