Fun, funky, and fantastic. This place is sensory overload (in a good way). From the decor to the flavors, you can’t not smile while you are here. Tons of creative flavors and creations - cheese ice cream (it’s awesome), cotton candy ice cream burrito, huge sundaes. The staff was friendly and offered samples of everything. The ice cream is fresh and chock full of chunks.
Very cute shop but the girl working was so rude. My churro bowl was fried so hard that I could not break it with my spoon. I had to resort to using my hands. I wouldnt completely pass this place over, but manage your expectations. Youll pay mostly for a cute scene and visually great ice cream dishes and not so much for service or flavor.
Accidentally found our new spot to go when on this side of town. Had some time to burn and wanted to get kids some really good ice cream. Just looked around at ice cream shops and found this one. WOW. This is one of those places that you think you did good ordering yours, your real proud and happy go giddy when you get it...then you see what the person next to you gets and your soul is crushed so you start wondering if you have room for that too because that looks amazing and you never thought it possible. My poor 6 year old daughter just got a unicorn ice cream cone. And then seen my waffle cream and ended up helping me eat mine.the different flavors and styles are great. You will pay a premium price, however you get what you pay for in sense of going out to a shop. Well worth it!
They are friendly, clean and not a long wait. I didnt like my non dairy mango waffle cone only because my chopped fruit was not sweet. I will go back but get something crazy and load up on thise calories. I saw customers eating some good looking icecream but I couldnt decide on what I wanted. So live a little and try something crazy on that menu. I will next time.
Before entering the store, I had no idea what I was about to walk into, but this is the best little ice cream shop in town. They have a wide selection of treats, and the interior was decorated to the nines for the season. Nicole helped us out and provided excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!
This was my first time at an ice cream bar. It is something of a novelty, probably not something I would do frequently. I got the hot dog (or something like that) which was three scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, etc. It was good. My friend got some type of waffle cone with melons and berries and a scoop of ice cream (not pictured). Maybe a bit pricey at about $11 per dish, but a nice date night treat. Decor was nice. The table hadnt been washed, and the cashier seemed confused about change (but I blame that on Metro Public Schools).
As others say, the prices are high and the wait is long. Fair price for two scoops in a waffle cone. The biggest issue for me was the after-taste. The flavor is fine, but there is some very bad after-taste I was not prepared for. The presentation was nice and the girl working was friendly enough. The waffle comes with three scoops of ice cream, but the waffle cone with two scoops seemed to have more ice cream. Probably wouldnt come back.
Absolutely love this place! I had no idea it was actually in town but I saw the lights and was quickly drawn in. A friend and I walked in and thought that the setup was so charming. The flavors were delicious and the service was even better. A sweet employee named Nicole was very attentive and patient and did a superb job making us feel comfortable. Will definitely be returning!
In terms of atmosphere, this is NOT your typical boring ice cream shop. The service was quick and friendly (the lady helping us was named Nicole, I think), and the vibe was great for a date. Well be back for sure.
Lots of options but not very good. The ice cream has a frozen taste, the milkshake may have been the worst thing in the world and the only reason I gave it two stars is that the cookie ice cream sandwich (which was okay) was a good deal. They need to fix the ice cream taste by co trolling the temperature of the coolers and limit their options so the ones they have are quality.Wish it was better, this area could use a cool place like this!
My family and I came into The Ice Cream bar because of a gift card I received from a friend. My oldest son loved atmosphere right away. My entire family thought the ice cream was good and the price fair. We all got a basic item but the menu offers some fun options. Nicole, who served us, smiled the entire time and treated us well.
I cant imagine giving this place less than five stars. Today Nicole took care of me. She was so friendly and helpful. Nicole was taking care of a family of five who were trying out several flavors before making their decision (which I recommend). She saw me waiting and came over with a menu. - five stars for checking in with me.On this visit, I had a mango chili (ice pop?); real mango, real chopped up chili pepper. - five stars. In past visits, Ive had several different ice cream flavors by themselves and in root beer floats or sundaes. Ive never been disappointed. See you again soon, Ice Cream Bar.
What a treat! Tucked in a nondescript mini mall, this playful and creative ice cream shop serves up an array of whimsical milkshakes and “fantasies.” Delightful for the kids and the kid inside me. Jackie and Nicole were friendly and patient as we picked out our treats. The place was clean and cool. Definitely will return!
This place has great ice cream, a beautiful aesthetic and could really be something if the women who worked there didn’t have the worst attitudes.
We went to the Ice Cream Bar last nite. It was excellent! So many options! Nicole, the nice lady who tolerated my familys indecisiveness, was awesome! The arm workout she gets scooping all that ice cream is insane! I bet if they had a protein ice cream there shed have arms like The Rock. My only complaint is that my kids insisted on three scoops and barely ate two. Obviously cant take any stars off for that since its not Nicoles fault my kids are wasteful. We will be back!
Love this place! I’ve been looking for a close by rolled ice cream location and happened to notice that this place was only 5 minutes away! Unfortunately the employee told me they didn’t have the rolled ice cream machine (or something similar) however I ordered the cookies and cream and it was delicious! I also enjoyed all of the old cartoon shows. I wish my students experienced watching those old shows like I did growing up.
This is a hidden gem! They have so many options and the decor reminds me of the famous ice cream shop in downtown Delray Beach, FL. I got the mocha and white chocolate ice creams in a churro and my husband got the mint chip and banana. So many delicious flavors. The ice creams on a stick look like a great option for when we come back with our kids!
We ordered a banana split and a fried cream to celebrate a birthday, and when my husband tried to order an espresso ice cream beverage the employee told him that the espresso machine was shut down for the night, when there was still forty five minutes until closing time. Husband looked through the menu to find an alternative and decided on a root beer float, turns out you can not order root beer floats within a half hour of closing time. This is information it would have been nice to have been given when we walked in. The Banana split and the fried cream both came in disposable containers which is different from the pictures and something we were not made aware of. The fried cream was also missing the waffle cone pieces. We were willing to pay the higher prices tonight for the presentation and to try something new but we were disappointed, we wish we had been better informed about what was actually available.
Nicole was extremely helpful and attentive. Plus the ice cream is to die for! Wonderful ice cream, and wonderful customer service, who could go wrong?
Always have a great time bringing friends here and surprising them with the unique treats! Nicole and Jackie were super friendly greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and provided great service.
My husband and I came to Nashville for a little break from everyday life back home. We ventured out to The Ice Cream Bar and we are so glad that we did! EVERYTHING from the Ice cream to the fruit was so fresh and delicious!
They had awesome flavors to choose from. The ice was VERY GOOD. Nicole was very patient while dealing we me and 3 indecisive kids and se also suggested a great combo
Really liked the ice cream but didn’t like how the girls were rubbing their faces while touching my ice cream with the same gloves
Nicole was very sweet. so was the ice cream. awesome place!
Our family visited there for the first time today. We arrived at 8:15 pm. They close at 9 pm. The worker told us we could only order ice cream in a cup because they had already cleaned the kitchen. This is a pathetic way to run a business on a Saturday night. If you close at 9, then the kitchen should be cleaned thereafter. We’ll never return.
Great customer service and delicious ice cream! I love that they have milk and water based popsicles. The prices are great too! Nice addition to Antioch!*Update - The last 2 times I’ve visited this location, the ice cream was melted. This location won’t be open long if the ice cream is melting before you sit down. The workers said their freezer hasn’t been working properly and apologized. It was good while it lasted.
So many great choices. And the service was great. Thanks Nicole
Would have given a 5 star rating. BUT we went at 730pm (half an hour before close) and we were asked, you want this to go? I said NO. She then says, well you are getting it in “to-go” containers so we don’t have to clean up. This is why I took 2 stars off. I spent $18 for two people to experience this cool place and I had to eat it with plastic containers and spoons which broke. I get you don’t want to work late. But we came here for the first time to experience the messy sundaes but couldn’t because they didn’t want to clean.
Great place! Staff always friendly and happy to be there. It has become one of mine and my daughters weekend rituals.
Very cute, great service and the ice cream taste amazing! I got my daughter The Ice Cream Bar (see picture). The decorations were due to it being Spring (May).I have a peanut and tree nut allergy. Though they DO have a sign up, I still made the employee aware of my allergies and she was very accommodating.Well definitely be back!
Ok if you havent been here you are seriously missing out! Lets start with the atmosphere. Retro comics, fun alternative lighting and more spacious than you expect. You even have a little window to watch the magic happen in the kitchen! Now the ice creams.... Cotton Candy Ice Cream Burrito!!! Chocolate Martinis, shakes, waffle cones to fight your family over if they even dare to try and sneak a piece! S many delicious, fun flavors and options galore of what you want to kill that sweet sweets craving lol Go, Go to this place ASAP!!!
Yum...such interesting desserts. A fun late night place to go with friends or kids!
This place is awesome, it is like a kids dream. I just happened to stop in one night wanting ice cream, I did not realize what I was walking into. They have an extensive menu of different ice cream options like ice cream tacos, ice cream with cake, and about twenty other dishes. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by what they offered and I loved it. I will be going back and recommending them to everyone I know.
Go here directly after Sichuan Hot Pot in the same track mall behind Lowes. The artisan made ice cream will satisfy you right into a satisfying nap.
Super cute decore! So many flavors! We will visit again to try more!!! 😀😀😀
Interesting place... The ice cream melted REALLY fast too.
Ive been here a few times. Bring the kids, etc. Its a hit or miss. For example, last time, I decided to get something from the cake section. I got a cupcake, which turned out to be hard as a rock because it was open to air and refrigerated, I exchanged it for pie. Next day, while I was at Costco, I saw the same EXACT cupcakes and cakes, the coffee cake, the cupcakes and the pie. Same patterns same boxes, same labels. I was shocked to say the least. And really disappointed.
1st visit was yesterday: I received hair in my carmello ice cream. I have emailed & called twice today no answer. Finally got in touch with manager Carlos Tuesday round 7pm. He told me I have blonde hair & that I ate all the ice cream. WOE! My HAIR hasnt ever been blonde since been on this earth. The drive is bout $8... Instead of putting it back on card.
Ice cream tasted freezerburnt
So delicious!!! I will definitely be back.
This place looks like it’s from a movie, the decor is so nice. Great vibes, great customer service, and great ice cream!
I loved my experience I got the strawberries & cream cup (I can’t remember the Spanish name) but it was delicious. I love the decor. The staff is friendly. I also got a strawberries popsicle to-go. It had real strawberries so good! Love it.
Good selection, nice staff and good location!!
Really Great selection! Friendly Service! Loved my visit here! It has an nostalgic cartoon theme, which the inner child and children would LOVE!! Prices are fair for these LOVELY CREATIONS!
There were no allergy warnings on the ice cream. I got the cappuccino flavor, unaware there were almonds in the ice cream. Im allergic to them and it chipped my back tooth. Had it not been for that, I liked the tables and decorations.
This place is amazing it was my first time there. I believe if you like icecream or even popsicle you have to check this place out.
Best stop in Nashville! Perfect for family nights. Everything is fresh and delicious!
Amazing! Had the ice cream nachos and was awesome. Great local nashvile spot! Hope they expand in the future.
The ice cream flavors I have tasted so far are delicious & the menu items are creative and beautifully presented. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because our party of 2 got our ice cream dishes almost 20 minutes apart and mine melted while I waited for my son’s to arrive. This is the second this has happened; it is because menu concoctions are made in the back and scoops are immediately served.
This our first time me and my boyfriend price high we took our son there by times we got there it was close 😔
Fairly expensive, shake was like water not thick at all and waited forever for them to make it with no patrons ahead of us. One of the ice cream bars tastes like it had been sitting in the freezer a long time like freezer burn. Want to support an independent local store but will not be back.
My daughter likes the ice cream from here. Pretty chill spot when I came it was not crowded and I like the cozy fun decor in there.
So chill and colorful. Staff is super cool and I LOVE their menu. Its so quirky and my nephew loves it. Definitely check this place out if you like a good desert.
Amazing place. Its hidden in the complex of Big lots and Lowes. There are some exotic ice cream dishes. Some bigger than your head with cotton candy. Its a must try and the kids will love it
As soon as you walk in you remember why you love ice cream! The color and the vibe you get when you enter the ice cream bar is like no other. You are met with an explosion of color and craft. The ice cream was terrific and I cannot wait to come back with my friends. The only reason why I am giving this a four is because one of the females who was working, was on her phone after my brother had ordered his type of ice cream. I watched her text back whomever it was while my brother and I just kinda waited for her to finish texting.
The Vanilla Float was delicious and looked awesome! I dont know what they do with their ice cream but this place is great! Ill definitely be back.
This place is the coolest ice cream place I’ve been too.The flavors are amazing and they have the best presentation I’ve seen. There’s a lot to get lost in here, great for every occasion
The best little Hidden Gem. The ice cream is delicious. It is very rich in flavor. And they have so many to choose from. They also sell popsicles did they have custom made. Everything was so good that I sampled. And it is reasonably priced. I had the cheese and Snickers. These two are phenomenal. The cashier was very kind and patient and allowed me to sample whichever ones I wanted to. The shop is very clean and well-designed.
Really enjoyed the ice cream! Their Tres Leches cake was pretty good too. Staff was really nice.
Great family owned ice cream and sundae shop. You get a lot for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
Totally recommend it
Amazing spot to enjoy the most amazing ice cream. GREAT ATMOSPHERE! Will be visiting again! HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Nice customer service and clean bathroom. Great treats.
Awesome, I went with my family for one ice cream, but we couldn’t pick up just one... the are so good and natural flavors the make Unique this place and also the decoration is very summer spirit ..!!
They have many different flavors and, if youre my age or a bit older, you feel a little touch of nostalgia as you watch clips of old cartoons and read the comic-strip covered table. It isnt very spacious and can get a bit loud, so its definitely different than Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone. It can get a little pricey, but delicious!
Everything is so good. We had the caramel tres leches, salted caramel ice cream and some other flavor, and everything was awesome!
Service was great, ice cream flavors are creative and delicious. Portions are huge. Prices are good for what you get and quality. Exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back!
Amazing flavors and presentation. Atmosphere is top notch. Flavors are both conventional and adventurous - think tequila, or cucumber & chile. I had a scoop of cappuccino and a scoop of mocha on a vanilla waffle cone. SO impressed. And everyone couldn’t have been nicer.
Fun little spot. I like that they have dairy free options. The atmosphere is pretty fun and the people are awesome.
This place is great. Youre going to pay a bit more but the ice cream is unique and the service is super friendly. They didnt mind when I asked to swap out my ice cream after foolishly not trying a sample beforehand
