Great place to buy quality toys for special little great grandbabies!

Kaffie-Frederick is a terrific little store with a huge and eclectic selection. Its a little pricey for some items but sometimes the great customer service outweighs that. You can find everything from hardware to toys, decorations and plants, purses and perfumes (upstairs)... Its old time-y. They have (and use) the original register, which is amazing in itself. And you can grab a glass bottle of Coke on your way in with the honor system. Whether youre just visiting Natchitoches or you live here, its worth the stop. Huge shout-out to the hardware fellas for always being amazingly helpful!

Awesome place to browse! They truly have lots of stuff that you wouldnt typically find in the big box stores. The history inside is amazing. Locals love it and the tourists love it.

Kaffie-Frederick is a one stop shop. All of the staff is awesome to work with and very accommodating. If you are looking for an FFL, home decorations, quality toys, hardware, or home goods this is the place to go. The facility is organized and clean. During the holiday seasons they also have a large selection of gifts and decorations. I promise you won’t regret stopping in Kaffie Fredericks.

The epitome of a historic hardware store that literally has anything you will need. Luke Fredrick the owner is the definition of southern hospitality. We went in with a plumbing problem in our RV and Luke was able to get us exactly what we needed. A must stop if you’re passing through or need anything, this place will not disappoint.

If you love a place that can blend in the old with the new, this is a place to go. Not much you couldnt find here plus a little extra. Love that they have some of the original store items still in place and signs explaining the origin and how they are used. Great place to explore and things for the men and women.

I enjoyed looking at old things that took my memory back to old daysthey had a old wood burning heater and old fashion sausage maker that you had to turn by hand to grind meat they carry old and new items I enjoyed shopping there

Great people, I cannot say enough about the people here, some stuff you can get anywhere, but a lot of stuff you cant. You just need to take the time and walk around, shop,and get that item youve been looking for, or didnt know existed.

Historical hardware. Practical and whimsical all at once. It is like a hardware store museum but it is prices are way better than the gift shop at any museum. Seriously now though this is a working general store with a wide variety of selections that has been in continuous operation for over a hundred years. The employees arent that old but still really helpful and nice. Check it out. Especially if you want a new hammer.

Associates were on hand and were very pleasant as they helped me find the gas line that I needed to connect my heater. I did not receive the same enthusiastic service at Stines on the same day. Definitely coming back here again, thanks.

This is a treasure for Natchitoches. We always spend a few hours shopping here when we are in town. They have a little bit of everything, and the antiques on display are so interesting. I hope the town and customers do all they can to keep this place going.

Amazing old time hardware store. The honor system coke coolers bring back memories to a simpler, more honest time. Tons of cast iron on display. Dont forget to check out the old enormous cash register! You must stop here when in Nachitoches.

We just moved to Natchitoches and have fallen in love with this General Store. We bring our family to tour the city and always stop by the store to give them the history, buy a Coke and purchase a toy, that we played with when we were growing up, for our grands.

I could not believe this store. It is the coolest! So many brand new old school items. And even new items for freshness.From your wall of pvc joints, nails, bolts, barb wire.Toys the are from a long time ago but brand new, fisher price toys i remember from when i was a kid.Love yhis store I will come here every time I come here.

They have the neatest childrens toys you would remember as a child but you dont see anymore. They also have an upstairs too.

“Fascinating General Store”We loved this store! This general store has apparently been a fixture on Front Street for decades. Its got a fascinating array of products that range from general hardware to childrens toys to house wares and gifts. If you want a practical souvenir from Natchitoches, this is your place. I bought a great, classic pocket knife which is in my pocket as I write this. Each time I look at my new knife, Im reminded of our thoroughly enjoyable weekend in Natchitoches. And Kaffie-Frederick was a unique and entertaining part of it.

An oldy (est. 1863) but goody! I could have spent hours browsing around the store. The prices tend to lean toward the high side, but even if you only have a few dollars its still worth the trip.
