This is a great neighborhood liquor shop. The staff is friendly and the pricing is good as well. Keep in mind it is a neighborhood type place so it is not huge. You wont find a lot of specialty items but they have all the staples you would be looking for.

I wasnt all that impressed. It does appear to have a decent wine and liquor selection. And while it has several craft beers (which I love), it was lacking in standard ones such as Sierra Nevada, Harpoon etc. Idk about basic ones like Budweiser since I dont drink those brands

First time there, and I was spending my time perusing items in the fridge. Grabbed some high noon thought why not one of each. Got to the counter and the lady told me she believed it was only one box per customer but she would check and she went to go ask who I presume is the manager - she was yelling loudly from the back of the store I could hear her. She was saying “Yes, one per customer! High demand! There’s a sign I don’t know why these people keep doing this” in a tone that was very demeaning. She must have realized I heard her. I didn’t see a sign!! If there was one she could have informed me nicely, I honestly don’t want to go back ever again because she made me feel uncomfortable and belittled for not seeing a sign. Maybe if there is one they could move it? It’s not anywhere I saw near the high noon. It’s just not ok to treat your customers like they’re dumb.

I would have given 5 starts as gentlemen behind counter was so pleasant & informative. Had to give 4 because 1 of the two brands i wanted to by but they dont carry it. Otherwise, nice and clean.

We have been going to this store for years.While I have all the wonderful things to say about the cashier Ladies (always smiling & caring), the new management/ownership does not truly care about their clients.Today was a good day to prove how much they care. While I had a hectic day that started at 6am, I was looking forward to relaxing at 10pm at home with a glass of wine.I always get the same wine there & happened to pull up at the store at 9.58pm (according to my phone). There was still another person at the store & someone at the register.The owner/manger REFUSED to acknowledge me standing behind the glass door. When I pointed that I knew what I wanted, he just pointed at his watch (it wasnt 10pm yet).After todays incident, I have to say: Good bye, AUSTIN LIQUORS, Im taking my business 1 minute away from you, to bigger selection, better prices & more caring staff--TOTAL WINES down the street.Anyone in the area should check them out. I have been a regular customer at Austins for years, and even before they were Austins. I am absolutely shocked at what just happened to my 22.5 year old son who was shopping for me today during this COVID pandemic since I am high-risk. He presented his MA license to make a purchase and was told by the man at the register that MA licenses from the specific birth year 1997, with a residence of Wellesley are not accepted there!! My son asked if the employee was just joking. The man told him that there had been problems in the past with persons presenting a MA license with the birth year of 1997 who live in Wellesley. My son walked out and took our business to Total Wine! How can a company (that we are trying to support locally) discriminate against a person with a legitimate license based on nothing but past problems with the birth year 1997 and a residence of Wellesley?!Absolutely absurd! Austins just lost my familys frequent business and we will let other Wellesley residents know about their policy!!

Old timey package store with a Very Very good selection of craft beers that other stores in the area dont carry. Good prices, GREAT selection and a nice polite staff. Dont be spooked by the carpetWorth the trip for the beer lover.

The place is a bit of a dump, but they have a reasonable selection of wine at fair prices. Its conveniently located across Route 27 from the shopping center on Route 9. They dont feature the same wine selections as the flagship stores in Worcester. If you like beer though, there is no better store in the area. Save yourself a trip down route 9.

Have gone there multiple time(First Mistake), worst service ever, they practically interrogate you at the register demanding why your buying, I have actually been denied service there because the woman at the register Thought she saw somebody underage in my car..Overall the entire store is a joke with mediocre selection and rude as can be employees.I would recommend others to avoid this store.

I was here looking for a Sauv blanc from Australia and unfortunately I couldnt find one from Australia. However, they have a huge variety of collections.The employees are also super friendly and helpful.

Staff are always happy to help you find what you are looking for. If they dont carry what you are looking for, they will order it for you.

They always have cold beer in stock. And if you are feeling fancy they have wine. If you feel like forgetting something or making bad decisions, they sell hard liquor too. Stay away from the Tequila, its a doozy.
