Im so thankful I went with this shop to repaint my car. My car looked orange and had even more peeling by the time I took it in to this MAACO location. The manager of the shop was so personable, professional and honest with me throughout the entire process. She told me 7 days for the work to be completed and it took exactly 7 days. Im so happy with the results and the way my car looks. I confidently recommend this business.

Maaco in National City, CA is legit. The guys that initially helped me out were very professional and honest. The manager too. She knows her stuff! They fixed my bumper and painted in just two days even though they were very busy. Other shops were charging me much more and it was going to take two weeks. I highly recommend this shop.

I would recommend for the price and service. Expect to wait longer for your car of the time frame given. My car paint was not an exact match, and it came with more sparkle than I liked. It also, has smudges and drips on the trunk door. However, its not noticeable from afar. Still a great value for the price.

Made an appointment online around 4pm for 5:45. They close at 6. Got my confirmation email 15 min later. I showed up 10 min early at 5:35 and no one was there. The gate was closed and locked. I tried calling and got an operator who said she would redirect me back to the shop. It just kept ringing and when I tried to call back after, she also wouldnt answer. Very unprofessional and very inconvenient. Fix you appointment system if you are going to be leaving your business early. Incredible waste of time. I went elsewhere and would recommend the same to anyone else

They do beauuuutiful work.By the way, initially I had gone to Earl Schieb for a quote... the gentleman was insisting that I come out of my car when he wasnt wearing a mask. Nor Ear Schiebs Corporate office would approve such behavior. Very unprofessional. I thanked him for his quote and went straight to MAACO. Downgraded from a 4 star now that some time has passed.Paint work at a moderate price and faster turnaround then average. High end paint/clear coat package started having peeling/flaking issues at 6 months under normal driving/washing conditions. Issues with over-spray and poor taping as well. Ok choice if money/time is an issue, if not consider moving on.

So far I have had four cars painted by Maaco. Two at this location and two at two other locations. I’m pleased to say that I am satisfied with all four paint jobs. I don’t think one can find a better value anywhere. I have looked at many body/paint shops, and no one can come close to the value and price of Maaco. Well I haven’t found a better value.

We had these great people repair major dents and repaint our 2000 Tundra, They did a fantastic job and far exceeded our expectations. We have received hundreds of compliments on how good it looks. We had gone to other places and they either refused to do the work or the price was far beyond reason. The quote at this Maaco was more then reasonable and the work was spectacular. Highly recommend this Maaco, dont go to a different one.Update: It has been a few months since we had the truck painted and I must say that we have had many people comment on the beautiful paint job. Our cousin came to visit us and he is a car guy. He said he cant believe what a great paint job as well as the perfect body work. Amazing!! I took my 2009 mitsubishi lancer to get repainted midnight blue from a very gross, peeling metallic grey.To my astonishment when i went to pick it up, Maria and her team at Maaco practically turned it into a brand new vehicle and i am still awed at the results.Stop wasting your time other places, maaco is the place to go, no bs, very very good work, 5/5 highly recommended.

I stopped by Maaco after a traffic accident on the 805. The young lady who hit me didnt have insurance. So, I was looking at making repairs to my vehicle at the most cost effective way possible. Maaco definitely gave me options in making my repairs more cost effective. The lady who gave my estimate was very nice and truthful. She looked at all possibilities in making my experience a great one.

Wow!!! My car came out so nice!!! I own a 2008 BMW and I wasnt sure what color I wanted? Maria and the owner (Rob) helped me and they both were very knowledgeable and patient with me. Such a great experience bringing my 30 year old Toyota Mr2 here. I saved the car from going to the junk yard with the help of Maria and her husband/staff. She was very honest and knowledgeable. The paint came out looking great and they fixed the 6 holes, gaps and dents that I wanted fixed with only minimal overspray for a price that couldnt come close to show quality shops. No one believes that I got my car done at Maaco! This is a great family owned operation that are friendly and take their jobs seriously!

Amazing paint job. My van was painted about 3 years ago by a garage mec and the job went bad. Orange peel all over. I took it to Maaco, National City this week and they only charged me the small “rock chip fee” to really sand it smooth. The paint job is now smooth as glass. Way better than expected for the price.

Before Maaco, I went to couple of other body shops(Big/Small), none of them provided as good of a customer service as Maaco did. So I decided to go with Maaco, after I picked up my car I realized the quality of their work was even better then their customer service! Highly recommend Maaco to all my friends!

I have used Maaco in the past and always liked the service however, this time at this particular shop I experienced true disappointment. The body work was done on time but quality of final work was not as I experienced in other Maaco locations. Final buffing was very bad and when I tried speaking with the store manager about getting all this fixed I ended up with a unprofessional call drop. This is a shop I will about visit again.

Had my 2011 Toyota Camry repainted after the Origional paint job was delaminating. My car looks like new. I am very happy with the work...

They did an absolutely stunning job of repainting our 2006 Toyota Scion. The paint had severely oxidized in several places and there were scratches and minor dings throughout the car. After the paint job, the scratches and dings were all gone and the paint was just as beautiful as the day we bought the car.

Maaco in National City provided great customer service and work! My hood needed to be repainted and they completed in less than 2 days at a very fair price.

Prior to having my vehicle towed to their location I called and asked if they could help me figure out whats going on under the hood. They said that they could and so, I arranged to meet them at their location at around 2-3 pm. My car arrives at the location and the tow driver calls me and says an employee (Maria) is yelling at him and is upset that I didnt leave my keys in my vehicle. I called MAACO and a woman named Maria answers and I calmly explain to her I had never been in an accident before, I didnt know to leave the keys because my car was left on the highway unattended and I didnt feel comfortable leaving keys in that vehicle. She was so rude on the phone saying it was common sense to leave the keys and that they have a small lot and she may need to move it. I let her know that I had called earlier and arranged to come in to their location in 2 hours and I was unsure if the vehicle even started. She continued to yell at me through the phone and then hung up on me. So, I show up to the location at the previously discussed time to find out that this collision center does not have a mechanic and therefore cannot actually help me with anything I wanted help with, and that I basically had my car towed there for nothing. They then told me to just estimate that the repairs will be at least 2000$ but they are no expert and to probably consider it totalled. The one thing this place actually did correctly was refer me to a mechanic shop right next to theirs, Diamond Auto Repair, where I got my car repaired for less than 300$

MAACO NATIONAL CITY is amazing! Awesome customer service and did and awesome paint job. My van was fire engine red and now is a calm Bengal tan. The price was reasonable for such a large vehicle. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because my E-350 logo was faded and someone at MAACO used a sharpie to fill in the letters/numbers. Looks okay from afar, looks like a 5 year old did it up close. I even stated during the initial pre-paint inspection that I would paint those letters/numbers myself. Over-all I highly recommend this paint shop. Just be very specific with your pre-inspection.

Im skeptical about this place I took my car a few months ago to get an estimate for a complete paint job but I wasnt able to get it painted right away. So the estimate expired and I went four days ago to get a new estimate for the same car and they quoted me a price that was about one thousand dollars more than last time. The guy started adding a bunch of stuff that he claimed needed to get done. But it didnt need any of that before? I think this place is shady.

For the price I couldnt find a better deal to repair my 97 Mustang. Replcaced driver side door and rear quarter panel and also touched up dings on rear bumper and right rear quarter panel even polished headlights and tail lights. Paint matching was good too. Looks like new and Bruce and staff were accomodating as I provided the parts to keep the costs down. Would go there again!
