I have only been there once for an oil change it was a pleasant day at the dealership thet explained what being done to my car very well and answer my questions that I had .I highly recommend asking for David Lopez he takes the time to go over things after the work gets done on your car he was very nice sometimes you go to the same place because you like the service you receive I would love to have the chance to talk to him about the Nissan brand he is very helpful and seems to enjoy his job.

1) They told me they were going to wash the car and fill it up with gas. When I went to pick up the car it was not washed, because it looked dusty and there was less than a quarter tank of gas. 2) I Purchased a car and a Sunday and they were pressuring me to add the car to my auto insurance and take the car off the lot. Knew I would have to call my insurance on Monday since they were closed on Sundays. I also explain to the gentleman that I used to work at the insurance company that I carry for my vehicles and then I have to go through a different department when changing things on my policy. He was not listening and he kept insisting that I go have lunch and go home get online and add the vehicle onto my car but still he was not listening to what I was saying. The vehicle was not coming home with me that day.

When I dropped off my car for a simple oil change and tire rotation I was not thinking I would have to call back next day multiple times trying to reach Henry who works on the service side to check if my car was ready for pick up Henry need more training in customer satisfaction very disappointed in the level of service I have received here all while still waiting for a call back obviously customer service is not at top of the list Henry’s list. I didn’t expect to fight to get my car back for a simple oil change please do not go to Henry worst rep ever.

While on vacation, my transmission on my truck went out. I was able to limp my way to Mossy Nissan in Chula Vista. Henry Samaniego, the Service Advisor, was extremely helpful when we came into the Service Center. He was able to identify by text all the repairs that were required and how much it would cost. He was able to help point us out on how to get back to our RV trailer with no issues. He was able to let me access my vehicle in the storage area to remove items I needed in order for my rental tow vehicle to be able to pull my travel trailer back to AZ. He kept me apprised of the status of my vehicle repairs while I was back at home in AZ and the repairs were completed exactly when we needed to pick it up and at the price that was originally indicated. There were no hidden surprises. If I could give him 6 out of 5 stars, I would! I would highly recommend him and his staff should you have a Nissan in need of repair in the San Diego area!

Are you mentally prepared for the terrible after-sales service? My Nissan is still in the warranty period, and there is an engine oil leakage problem. The key point is that they will not repair you for such a large quality problem, but will perfunct you, as long as your car is If you can run, they say there is no problem with the car, but if you see the leak, they just dont care. They will also use various excuses to sell you unnecessary expensive accessories and packages, so be careful! I checked, in San Diego, Mossy Nissan has monopolized the after-sales service of Nissan cars in this area. So they dont care how you feel. Because automakers sales and after-sales services can only be completed by regional agents, and regional agents are the bosses who invest in the establishment of regional sales stores and after-sales services. Therefore, automakers will not offend regional agents. So if you want to choose Nissan, you have to be mentally prepared for bad after-sales service, at least, in the San Diego area. When I raised the engine oil leak for the second time, they told me that they would check it, but they actually drove my car into a corner and made me wait in the lounge for 3 hours. Maybe this is revenge for asking me questions. I asked them and they said someone was checking, but they were actually lying. I didnt see my car in the repair shop, so I walked around and accidentally saw my car in the corner. It turns out that they can lie to you. Are you mentally prepared? My picture shows that oil leakage at the junction of the engine block will result in reduced power, increased fuel consumption, and even spontaneous combustion during driving. I am really worried. Of course, after the warranty period, the repair cost will not be less than $3,000.It’s been almost a month since my comment was posted. Today you replied that you want to talk to me about this matter and left the phone. I don’t think it’s necessary, because you left my car in the corner and let me wait for 3 hours in the lounge. Your after-sales manager looked at me and laughed there, maybe laughing at how stupid I was. . Do you think it is necessary to talk about it? In addition, my car has been disposed of.

Upon arrival at Mossy Nissan in National City, I first encountered Andy, a young new associate, who soon proved friendly, articulate, and bright. Right away, he listened to me and understood that I knew what I was looking for. Even after Andy introduced me to a senior team member/leader, Oscar, he was never far away and eager to share his observations; he had recently test driven all models offered at National City Nissan, and he gave solid feedback on the features that I was interested in. You can sense that he is already a good addition to the team!Right away, Oscar made me feel that he was working for me. He listened as I outlined what I was looking for, and what wouldn’t work for me. It was perfect! Within a few minutes, Oscar toured me through a selection of vehicles that were consistent with what I wanted. He then opened and started each of them, and I test-drove several of them. Once I narrowed it down to a few cars, Oscar took the time to show me where each of my choices fell, in terms of financing. My first choice was a bit beyond my reach, and I could only get the tips of my fingers around my second choice. However, Oscar made it possible to put my second choice firmly into my grasp. Oscar knows what it means to have a great car buying experience, and I believe that is what his objective is…to help a customer be excited about buying and owning a new car.The financial officer, Jeremey, is very sharp, and he is excellent in explaining potentially ambiguous details in a way that simplifies the closing process. I would typically expect a flurry of numbers, options, and add-ons to the hurled, but Jeremy does not do that. His approach seemed more directed towards how he could best facilitate my credit and financial status through my purchase. He was not just considering my monthly payments and credit status, he was also thinking about my purchase of an automobile as an investment! I left feeling very confident about my investment.Suffice it to say, the entire team worked for me (it helped that I had a good idea of what I wanted). I laid down a line, in terms of monthly payment. They made it happen! I left there feeling completely satisfied and excited because of these people, they understand what that feeling means to a customer. They made me feel like I was working with humans-being, not just humans-doing!One last thing… I totally enjoyed the diverse and eclectic mix of personalities! It instills a “family” feeling.

Experience is with the service center. Dangerous and reckless, I received a letter about a recall on my Nissan about its automatic break sensor. I stopped by to get it check it out and they looked at my VIN and said I was good to go. A few days later my vehicles automatic breaks engaged and was almost rear-ended. I then brought it to El Cajon and they looked at my vin and notified e that my vehicle was involved with the recall and took it in right away. LAZY service center almost got me into an accident. CHOOSE ANOTHER MOSSY NISSAN.

Leased a electric Fiat from them. When it was time to return they told us they were no longer affiliated with Chrysler. When we asked what were we suppose to do with the vehicle they suggested we call Better Business Bureau. Not sure how that would help us. Talked to Chrysler several times they even went as far to suggest we store it in our garage. Our lease is up and the car is sitting in our driveway.

The folks at Nissan in National City have no interest in paying me the 50$ gift card promised fir taking a test drive. I have repeatedly texted, talked to and sent emails to Sergio Aranda, the salesman who processed my application all for nothing.If this is an example of service before the sale, think what the results would be after I bought the Nissan.50$ is not a lot of money, but they made the offer. So much for looking after the customer s interest.Also, the other Mossy dealerships provided a quote, over text, on an exact new Nissan, fir $1700 less.Don’t buy a thing unless you check with the other Mossy Nissan dealerships sprinkled around the San Diego area. Well worth the drive.

Had CVT replaced under warranty which was great, however the vehicle was returned to us with the Check engine light on. CESAR MARTINEZ was the service advisor employee handling this issue. He advised us that the check engine light was on because the vehicles computer needed an update similar to a modern smart phone, and tried to charge us for this said update. I spoke with the shop Forman, he told me no such update exists and the light is on for another reason. CESAR MARTINEZ AT MOSSY NISSAN NATIONAL CITY SERVICE CENTER WILL LIE TO YOU TO GET YOUR MONEY!

I went to the Mossy collision center on my own. I honestly wish I had listened to my gut and driven to the other shop I had in mind. There is bubbles in the paint they said was from dust and rocks. The receptionist has a bad attitude and sounded frustrated while I was there in person all 3 times and also answering the phones. Very unpleasant. Her alone will be a reason I do not return. Plus the almost 3000 grand between my insurance and my deductible for bubbles to be left in the paint from dirt and rocks. Do you not clean the area prior to painting and glossing or even if it was just gloss do you like no clean that. I was told that part of my vehicle would look just as good or better than when I purchased. I didnt have bubbles in my original paint job. Then some residue was left on the right side of my headlight problem was on the left side not the right. I called asked what to use to remove it and was told to bring the vehicle in. Hell no... I was so unimpressed with the service and response. I told them my car was a mess. Which it was, not going to lie they barely vacuumed it. Even that was done half way to use better words. I will never ever go back there.

Mossy Nissan in National City has been servicing our Nissan autos for years and provide good value. Especially the oil change pre-pays, which save us money, and includes a free car wash. Service advisors are good and dont push unneeded repairs. If anything is not done correctly, service dept will fix it at no charge. Usually, everything is done correctly the first time. Henry Samaniego was very rude while assisting me over text. I ended up rejecting all of the recommended services, and when I would call Service to see if my vehicle was ready for pick up they did not know if my car was ready even if it wasn’t going to be worked on. I had to call twice since the first time I called they had no answer, then I called again and said I would receive a call within 15 minutes and I did not receive it. So after two hours of waiting I decided to go to the dealership and they said they did not know the status of my car. In like 10 minutes they figured it out and realized it was ready for pick up but could not find my keys. After looking for them for a while I was finally able to take my car home. Horrible experience at this dealership.
