Called in a part that was only in National City and even had the guy on the phone describe it to me to make sure it was the right part. I paid for it over the phone and had my wife pick up cuz she works nearby and they gave her the wrong part. Now I had to drive back to National City from east county to swap parts and the dog and pony show there were telling me they don’t have that part in stock and they don’t even have it in any of their stores. I had to tell them that I bought the last one and it would show out of stock after that, then told them it was there somewhere and they need to find it. They found it, gave it to me and didn’t even get an apology. I should’ve gotten the part from Amazon, where it was $10 cheaper. Thought I’d get it faster and buy local at same time, never doing that again. Never buying from here again.

I bought an oven ignitor yesterday, Friday, August 6, 2020. I thought I purchased the right one but turns out I was one number off on the part number. I came in today, Saturday, August 7, 2020 to return/exchange the part. A tall, older man helped me. I told him what happened, first thing he says is they dont do refunds on oven ignitors. Ok. Fine, Ill eat it but I need the right part. He walked to the end of the counter to talk to another employee then comes back and asks for the right part number. I tell him its almost the same one on the box of the ignitor Im returning (which is on the counter in front of him) but instead of #530393506(6) its #530393506(8). He then proceeds to tell me with attitude, as if Im a 5 year old child, that I need to be sure because hes not going to refund me on the other one. I work for a property management company, I come here often for parts but this specific part was for my oven. I dont need to be talked to like a child because I made a mistake. If you dont do refunds for oven ignitors, then you dont. Id have been fine with keeping the original part I purchased and I did because after scolding me like a child he told me the right part would have to be ordered and would take 3-4 weeks.Greet your customers when they walk in. None of you people ever look up and acknowledge anyone coming through your doors. Its like were bothering you just by coming in. I waited patiently yesterday for almost 30 minutes before anyone helped me and was not once greeted. It makes a difference. If you dont like what you do for a living, quit.
I needed a part for my dishwasher and Kathy helped me on the phone with finding the correct part, taking my credit card and walked to the shipping department, part in hand and mailed it to me same day! Only place for appliance parts in San Diego is APC!

Ive been going to the 8th street in national city location since goah 82 when i was still in the Navy repairing shipmates wives appliances. Keep your minds out of the gutter😄anyways like today the gentleman that assisted me has been there since the early 80s a wealth of knowledge and wisdom i would recommend this place to get the right parts the first time to any D.I.Y..ers
I found this company while looking for a part online. They werent the cheapest, but they were close, local and had it in stock. I came in, waited for a couple minutes while they dealt with a phone customer, told them the part number, and left a couple minutes later with the part. The staff was friendly and helpful. Going in person was nice since I could return the old part immediately, so I didnt need to worry about the core price.
My husband and I had a great experience. Wait time was only 2 minutes. They knew their stuff and ordered our part in a timely manner. They are so friendly and awesome

MARIO is unknowledgeable and provided very bad service, turned us away without even looking for the brand of our dryer for the part needed, no attempt or intention to help... Second time we came today looking for a part for a dryer, earlier the gentlemen that helped us just asked us to bring the part which we have taken to another store and they have helped us before but didnt have the same one, he told us he cant help us turned us away because the part is broken when thats the part were trying to replace, if you dont want to help people out or if it bothers you to help people you shouldnt work in customer service period. You shouldnt be getting paid to give people attitude.

I had a very unpleasant experience trying to buy a small part from this place. I had called ahead and I gave them the name of the part the name and model of the dryer. They told me the part number & gave me a quote over the phone. when I got to the place to get the part and pay for it, it was a different price. I asked why. A man about 60 years old with glasses got defensive and started insulting me telling me that didn’t know what I wanted. I look at him & I told him that as a representative, he should explain to costumers prices accurately, but he continued to argue telling me “next time know what you want” so I told him as a business representative, he shouldn’t be arguing or being rude with customers. I ended up leaving. Another lady that works there, apologized for him.
Sails rep Kenneth said i could bring back the parts if I didnt need it. He never said there would be a 25% Fe, if I brought them back. Its not about the $20. I lost. Its about the principal and customer service and how he lied. Kathy Manager was nice and apologize, but still will never go back. Maybe thats why the store in Chula Vista close. Bad customer service.
Great for DIY repair jobs on appliances. Saved myself 250 doing the fix myself. The fact its been here for as long as I can remember says something.
Only waited for a few minutes. Got the part I came for. The range now working OK. All done before 10:30. Wife happy. Saved at least $70 by doing myself.

A small store. But specialized in appliances. I come here to get products to finish up tasks that needs to be completed. If they dont have what you need, they can place an order and get it within a few days. I prefer coming here compared to Home Depot or Lowes.

I came in the store to buy a replacement part, a thermal cutoff. Turns out the part comes in a kit of two parts, one high limit thermostat and a cutoff fuse. They dont give me both parts just one. I had a repair man come out and he showed me the bag they come and they come together. You always replace both. I didnt know this. They just give me one of the parts, not in a bag. They charge me over $50 for one part and they both sell online for $35 total. Why wouldnt they give me both? They sell them that way on line, thats how the appliance repair man had them. Dont go here.

I get there and then they tell me they have to order it and it will take a few weeks. They waste my time and gas. Better to buy stuff online and better help. The guy there was neither nice nor helpful. The price they quoted to buy the part was also expensive.

I bought a part. Didnt even open the box. I called them 10 minutes later, asking if I can just get an in store credit, because it was the wrong part. I dont even want my money back the answer was no. Very bad customer service, they dont care about their customers. If you want laundry parts call Brooks laundry equipment in San Marcos you get better service and better attitude. I will never go back to the store again. Stay away.

This is not an establishment that seems interested in customer service. If you know what youre going in for, youll get your parts at a good price. If youre a civilian with no appliance knowledge, suck it.
